Just then, she felt an arm slide around her waist and looked to the other side to see Dallin forcing a smile next to her. He was probably just as un-excited about being here as she was. But she was happy that he was here with her. They could be miserable together, at least.
Looking back at Presley, she smiled sadly and shook her head. "I can't." She told her quietly. "It's for graduating students. It's not my place." If she even had a place, she didn't know. But she couldn't bring herself to go over to the memory book. Her gaze moved over to where the book was across the room. Years and years worth of goodbyes and farewells were in that book. Yeah, she was saying goodbye too, but she just couldn't bring herself to write in that book.
Ellie knew she needed to step away from Presley before she started crying, so she quickly stepped forward out of Dallin's arm and gave the young girl a hug. She squeezed her eyes shut. "Thank you. I hope your next six years are as wonderful as you are." She whispered. Giving her one last squeeze, she let go and stepped back next to Dallin, taking his hand.
Swiftly wiping a stray tear, she began moving away. "Let's sit." She suggested in a whisper, quickly giving Presley a final smile. Dallin's smile faded as he watched the two girls. The other girl couldn't be older than maybe second year, and yet she seemed so caring about Ellie. He didn't say anything, not wanting to interrupt them, and stepped back as Ellie went to hug the younger girl. He looked down at his feet, trying to not intrude. Soon, though, Ellie had stood back up and grabbed his hand. So he guessed that the girls were done talking.
He nodded to Ellie, squeezing her hand, and glanced back at the younger girl with a small smile before sitting down. "How're you feeling today?" He couldn't stop himself from asking.

Presley smiled briefly. Well, when she was a seventh year, she would dedicate it all to Ellie. So she would have her spot. No matter what. "Hope your next six years are as wonderful as you are" she'd said. "Only I'm not so wonderful" Presley whispered. But only to herself as Ellie had already left. Ellie seemed to think she was this sweet, likable girl. Presley wished she was. Silently she made it her new goal, to be that person. The sweek little girl that everyone liked. Not the belligerent nasty brat that always got what she wanted. And she would put Ellie in that memory book no matter what. Quote:

Ellie hadn't gotten to know Presley very well considering their only conversation was brief the evening before. But Ellie knew that if she spent any more time with the girl, it would only make it harder to say goodbye. Ellie left at the right time.
Squeezing Dallin's hand in return, Ellie walked with him down the table, keeping her eyes on the floor. When they sat down, and Dallin asked how she was feeling... Ellie really had no idea how to answer. She was feeling a little bit of everything. Happy that she was with Dallin, yet completely devastated because everything she loved was ending. Not to mention her chest and her head hurt like crazy. Ellie looked at Dallin, quickly kissed him on the corner of his mouth. "Great." She lied, looking away. Answering the question was too difficult at that point in time.

So for the purposes that Vashti was asking, yes, Pres was ready to go home.
Presley saw William and smiled. "For sure," she replied. That had been a fun part of this year. " Glad you agree with me" William told Presley. It took Pres just a second to catch up with what William had said, and what he was reffering to. "Yeah, I feel honored. Well, Luna is staying at my place all summer, sort of moving in. And maybe Rachel too, but I think maybe Rache has to spend a little time at home at least....I don't really know. My brother is planning on a vacation to some island-things. It's supposed to be a surprise, I think..but my dad told me in a letter. What about you?" In her dad's latest letter he'd said "I've had Karl follow your instructions. Have a lovely time on the islands with Leo. Love, Dad" Presley knew that since Leo hadn't told her, it had to be some sort of a surprise. So she would of couse, pretend she knew nothing about it, and act delighted and surprised. However, her mind was still on Ellie. Presley couldn't get her mind off of it. The girl that she shared a dormitory with, that had just walked away...she would never see again. She wasn't a seventh year, and wasn't expecting to have to deal with something like that quite so soon. However, death was not a new experience for Presley. She had however, hoped to not have to go through it again for a long while.

He knew that he shouldn't have even asked; she probably didn't want to talk about it. There was always the chance that she would say she felt good, though, no matter how slim that chance might be.
He looked around the room, brushing his thumb absentmindedly across the back of Ellie's hand. He wished he could read minds. Then he would know what she was thinking and how she was really feeling. Because now, he couldn't think of anything to say to her. Nothing he could think of would mean anything. Just pointless questions. "What's your favorite color?" he asked suddenly, turning back to look at her.

She felt bad for giving Dallin such a bad answer, but she didn't want to face the truth of her emotions at that moment in time. Voicing them would just bring unwanted tears.
Feeling Dallin stroke the back of her hand with his thumb, she gave his fingers a little squeeze and smiled slightly. She tried thinking of something to say, but nothing came to mind. Everything seemed to just turn back to the end of term, saying goodbye, and the inevitable. So instead, she just decided to stay silent and hoped Tate would start his speech soon.
Dallin's question took her off guard, probably because it was so random. But the question also brought her back to the day they first kissed. She couldn't remember who had asked, but that was the question. She turned to face him. "I don't have one." She said, pausing. "If chose just one color, that would make the other colors feel less significant and I hardly think that's fair." Ellie replied with a light smirk at the corner of her mouth. "But if I had to choose, I would pick turquoise." She said quickly, picked up her goblet, and took a sip of water.
Hah. He probably thought he was going to get a one-word answer.

Hah. He probably thought he was going to get a one-word answer. "You don't-" Oh. She wasn't finished. Dallin raised his eyebrows, sort of surprised by her answer. He started to smirk, amused. All the other colors would feel less significant. How thoughtful of her to make sure the other colors didn't feel left out.
His eyes widened even more at her final answer. "Turquoise?" Not that that was weird... it just wasn't a common color. He nodded, though, as if she had just told him something very important. For some reason he had really wanted to know that. He couldn't remember if she had ever told him before but... he'd remember now.
He looked up at the roof, staring at the darkening sky for a moment. Was it really the last night at Hogwarts?

Alfie walked into the Great Hall at the Theodore Dumble's side, their hands entwined comfortably as the pair started over towards their house table. Reaching a clear space in the middle of the long table, the blonde gently plopped down into a seat, her hand still holding that of her boyfriend who was just a split second behind her, still standing. She flashed the boy a warm smile from her seat, admiring the sight of him for just a moment as she used her free hand to pat the spot at her side. "For you, Mr. Dumble," she announced softly, flashing him a bit of a grin, amusement in her large blue eyes at the mere idea of it being for anyone but him.
It was difficult to believe that the year had already gone by so quickly. It seemed like just a short while ago she was meeting her good friends for the first time, and at the same time, such a long time ago that she was a new exchange to the school. It had welcomed her so well, she felt as though she'd been there for years. She had a feeling that had to do with the friends she had met that year, including the boy who had been seen at her side often during the last few weeks of term. She really liked Hogwarts, and it was difficult to believe that the year was already coming to an end.

What's yours?" She asked with a gentle smile.
Ellie noticed Dallin look up at the dark sky, and she looked back down at him. He didn't necessarily look happy. But, considering the circumstances, Ellie didn't blame him. She looked back up at the ceiling. "This is it." She whispered, almost inaudible.

She really liked Hogwarts, and it was difficult to believe that the year was already coming to an end. Theodore, his hands grasping Alfie's hand tightly, strolled along the stone floor of the Great Hall, a wide grin on his face. As they walked and his robes billowed about his ankles, nostalgia came flooding back to him. What would the past ten or so months have been like had his father's job not brought the family from New York City to England? Boring, probably, with home-schooled nonsense and much coddling from his mother. Theo could assuredly proclaim that his first year at Hogwarts had been the best time of his life so far, with new challenges, new friendships, new loves, and new passions.
As Alfie's gaze raked over him as she sat on the wooden bench, Theodore couldn't help but feel as if giggly, warm pygmy puffs were having a party in his stomach. At least, that was how it always felt when Alfie was around. Besides, the idea of butterflies in his stomach, or anyone's stomach, gave him the creeps. Before they were majestic butterflies, they were slimy little caterpillars that made stuffy little cocoons to live in for Merlin knew how long; it wasn't healthy nor attractive, in Theo's mind. So pygmy puffs, it was! "Why thank you, Miss Port," Theodore mused, playing along as he adopted a regal tone to match that of his girlfriend's. Girlfriend. Even thinking the word put a smile on his face. Plopping down right next to the fourth year, he took one hand to loosen the navy blue and bronze tie about his neck and took his other hand to grab Alfie's once more. It was something about being near to her that made him feel one hundred times better than he normally did. She was his good luck charm. "It feels like... like it all happened so fast," He mused vaguely, remembering the day that the pair met on the grounds. "I mean, this year. It feels like instead of hopping on the train, we'll be taking another Hogsmeade trip soon, or... or something." He chuckled lightly, aware of his rambling but not caring too much.

Alfie gave a soft, chiming sort of light chuckle as Theo addressed her as 'Miss Port', thanking her for saving the seat at her side. She flashed him a bit of a grin before feeling his hand find her own once more, warming up her smaller one and making butterflies swirl around in her stomach. Luckily Alfie didn't share her boyfriend's dislike for the creatures, and so having them take residence in her stomach wasn't a problem. In fact, she had welcomed them over the past few weeks with Theo at her side; he was constantly the reason behind them. It seemed that with every touch of the hand and glance in her direction, their little imaginary wings began to make her feel all giddy and she couldn't help but smile.
With her free hand, she gently picked up her goblet of water, taking a small sip before returning it to its place on the table and listening to Theo mention how fast this year seemed to go by. "Tell me about it," she muttered with a bit of an amused smile, her free hand gently coming up to meet the locket she adored, hanging around her neck as it had every day since she'd received it from Theo himself. She really did love it. "It seems like just last week I was roaming up to the tree house, no friends at all, only to find a group of people flinging cake at one another." Alfie raised her blonde eyebrows playfully, watching the boy at her side to see if he recalled this moment at all. Really, it was the first time they'd met. Or rather, they didn't meet, so much as made eye contact and he invited her to throw cake. They hadn't even introduced themselves. And yet, that was the first time they'd come in contact, and it was a very clear memory to the blonde that hadn't known anyone at all back then. She'd made eye contact with a rather adorable boy, who she never assumed she'd see again, let alone be in a relationship with.

Ellie's head turned over to Dallin's direction when he asked why. He wanted to know why turquoise was her favorite color. She smiled slightly and looked down. "For my fourth birthday, my father hand-crafted a turquoise blanket for me... He worked so hard on it. The only magic he used was to keep it together year after year. I still have it, and ever since then it's been my... preffered color." Ellie smiled at the memory. To any fine seamstress, the blanket would look like a piece of garbage. But to Ellie, it was beautiful. She looked back at Dallin. "Growing up, I always though about passing it down to my kids, but..." She stopped and looked down. She didn't have to explain; he knew.
Ellie watched him answer his question as he looked in her eyes. Ellie smiled, and she was surprised she didn't blush. "My eyes? They're far from the ocean." She said, voicing her opinion.
Watching him, Ellie noticed him swallow back tears and it made Ellie want to tear up too. The lump in her throat was starting to hurt. She sighed and looked away. Maybe coming to the feast was a bad idea, just like they had thought.

| Vanessa the Snot Girl l Rachels Rule | rock, tumble,&roll ❆ adorable coffee bean Finlay was feeling pretty sad as he wandered down to the great hall, and along down the ravenclaw table. Today was the last time that he'd be walking down here, and it was pretty bittersweet. For months he had been saying that he was ready to graduate, but now, he didn't want to go. There were things that were left here, things that still hadn't be resolved. And it really sucked. Today he hadn't got his headboy badge on, it was tucked away in his pocket. He wanted to finish Hogwarts, as he had started, just a Ravenclaw, like everyone else sitting at this table.
Finn sat down, somewhere in the middle of the table, and kind of just sat there. He was on his own for now, but he knew people would come see him. But he knew the one person he really wanted to talk to probably wouldn't. Jimmy probably would be some where else, being really popular. That was bittersweet too. He missed Jimmy....just like he was going to miss Hogwarts.

And that was sooo true, Eino. Though, some of it was her own fault, keeping to her dorms. But there was definitely some time between when she was sick and when she went into depression that they SO could've hung out. "What have you been up to since?" She knew where SHE was... Where was HE? Eino flinched lightly when Ellie grabbed his arm, then stiffened it in resistance when she pulled him towards her, but to no avail. She was so strong, he knew who he would be calling if he ever got in trouble with an older kid. But she was also touchy, which frightened Eino juuuuuust a little bit. Oh my Merlin, Eino keep it cool, you are sitting with the COOL KIDS. His conscience reminded him. "I am wonderful." He said with a slight nod. Who wouldn't be at the end of the school year? He was definitely looking forward to the summer break. "Oh, ummm, just the same as always. Studying, homework, hunting pogrebins, training Eino, and such things as such." He explained, but what had she been up to? This was the perfect opportunity to ask her why she had gone missing. "What about you? Where have you been? You missed a Quidditch match." |

Cassie walked up to the great hall from her common room after making sure that she had everything in order. She wanted to find her friends, so they could enjoy their last night together over warm pumpkin juice but she especically wanted to find her boyfriend. Her friends she would see over the summer and the next term but boyfriend..no. So sad.
She canned the house tables and spotted a few sitting with the rest of the puffs but wasn't ready to go there yet, that would be her last stop of the night. She then spotted Finlay sitting alone? and walked over then slipped into the space right next to him and gently bumped him with her shoulder ."Hey Finny, you ok?" She asked smiling that, 'I'm kind of worried what's going on with you' smile at him.

He had to kind of force a smile onto his face as he saw Cassie. Anyone else would've been okay, but Cassie kind of reminded him of Jimmy. He didnt want to think about him, he kind of wanted to enjoy the last feast. Sure he thought Jimmy was his best friend, but they hadn't talked for nearly a year now....and he still hadn't gotten over it. "Hey Cassie." Finn nodded, a small true smile on his face. He was kind of glad that Cassie had come to talk to him, even though he knew the girl was probably over here to find Jimmy.
Was he okay? Not really? Finlay shrugged. "Kinda?" She knew why. She had known for a while. But now there was leaving on top of all those bad feelings. This was not that fun really.

Rachel arrived at the hall, as she walked to the Ravenclaw table, she spotted her best friend, Presley. She was so happy to be going to Presley's house in the hols. "Hey Pres!" she said, cheerfully, "How are you?" she asked, she smiled at William and said, "Hi!" smiling she sat down.

Yeah don't think I missed that fake smile Finlay Carmichael. She held back the frown that was tugging on the corner of her lips. She knew why the boy was sad though and she couldn't help but feel sad for him too. One she figured out for herself that James wouldn't budge once he made up his mind to do or not do something and two, this was their last night of school. If they didn't sort things out now, when would they?
She beamed at him when he finally smiled back at her for real. That was more like it. "I'm taking that as a no. He'll come around eventually Fin..." she hoped. She opened up her arms offering him a hug." And I know leaving anywhere is never easy easily when you've grown attach and will end up leaving friends behind." The ones left behind didn't have it all that easier either.

She knew what he was like, as Finn did, meaning that she knew he didn't budge very well. Finn was kind of hoping they'd maybe get over it soon, he wasn't even sure when they'd be seeing each other when they graduated. It was suck. Really suck.
Oh. She wanted to hug him. Finlay didn't really know if he should. Wouldn't that be a bit awkward. Her being Jimmy's girlfriend and stuff? Finn shook his head, offering her another smile. No hugs, didn't want to make Jimmy feel bad or anything. Like he was feeling. "It's weird, James was the only reason I came here....I didn't think I'd get as attached as I am."

And James is not a machine, he feels too, he's just stubborn and he's not an open book like you are." It took a lot of research to get James Wilkes and even then you never really truly know everything.

| Dallin & Ellie <3 Dalliesa | Ab-Bot | Hogwarts Trojan War |
Louisa had made her way into the Great Hall with a big smile on her face. She paused taking the four tables' scene in her mind and then headed for the Ravenclaw table house. Her head was still buzzing and getting dizzy from last night's very late stay-up with Dallin and Vashti but she was too excited to be tired or groggy. Speaking of Dallin, he must've been around here! Saving a seat for her, because they were good friends and funny buddies and everything… tralalala.
No. He wasn't here yet.
Louisa picked a random seat and drummed her fingers on the table watching the students coming to sit opposite of her; some nodded, some didn't acknowledge her.. she had looked for any of her friends but none came into view so she just started playing with her empty plate.
When was the headmaster's big speech?
Taking a look toward the staff table, she saw him. With a VERY graceful move, that wouldn't be accomplished without high hormones level, Louisa rounded on her seat and jumped out making her way toward Dallin who seemed to be sitting…
… not alone. Just a few feet away, she stopped and looked at the girl's back sitting next to him and, and… his hand was on hers.
Ouch! Something stabbed Louisa on the chest.. she looked down and found nothing. What was that then?
She took a few steps backward and was grateful for the students who decided to pass between where she stood and where the boy and the girl sat. Louisa didn't know what to do. What to think. What to make of the two sitting not far away. She wiped the wet eyes with her sleeve and went back to her seat, shoving a few firsties out of the way. That groggy feeling was not hidden by her excitement anymore.
She threw her body on the bench, swung her legs over it and stuffed them underneath her and buried her face deep in her hands and waited for the headmaster's speech… she wanted to go home very sooooon. And she was NOT going to cry… HMPH!

" My summer is busy with my cousin's Victoria's wedding to Jason, going to Africa with Witsy and her parents, not to mention that Witsy will coming to the Villa plus also being in the wedding just like me" William explained to Presley. " Would you come over and talk to me at the Gryffindor table?" William asked Presley.

He could see what Jimmy saw in her. It had made him feel a little better for a while, till she went on about Jimmy again. Finn nodded though. "You're probably right." and it wasn't like he liked Cassie that way. He was with Fallon now, and he really liked her.
Regret the memories? Jimmy and Finn did have some amazing Memories, but thinking about them kind of made him feel bad, that they had no memories about their last year, because he had gone and ruined it. It was so typical. Finn always messed things up. "I just miss him so much Cass, I didn't think I would. But this has made me realise how much I really took him for granted." Finn sighed, shrugging at Cassie. If they made up, they made up. If they didn't...well they didn't.
