The last thing she wanted was to be seen around with it. Especially now Vashti had detected it but luckily Louisa found a way to move the girl's attention off the vial. "But you brew it for me, remember? Can't you tell yourself?" the third year had no idea about these stuff. Those were Aurora's department.

Brother in hospital? Louisa stared at the girl for a minute before speaking in a calm affected voice, "My brother's in the hospital too. In France. And even if I wanted to talk about it, I don't know much," She forced a chuckle. If the first year didn't want to talk about it, then it was fine but Louisa could try and make her feel better when she'd told her that she was in the same situation, right?
Aurora smiled, "Of course..." she was rather protective of it... Aurora wondered what the intended effects were. "Hmm... I think... maybe three drops? You should put it into food or something... drinks are usually easier." she said, thinking back to when she'd finished the potion... "Yeah, try three drops... that should work." she grinned more confidently.

Aurora nodded, "Hmmm, sucks." she said. Krys had been in hospital for almost seven months now... she was beginning to get used to the constant feeling of dread in her stomach...

Luna smiled it was a friendship bracelet when you put it on a person that your thinking about would come up a small picture and name and where they were and how they were doing she also got Rachel a photo and a magical diary but she didn't put them in the package she was keeping them for Rachel's suprise party the reason Luna got three presents for Rachel was because she said she never got presents and she thought that was sad

'I hope you like it Rache' said Luna

Default Polyjuiced as Gwen Greene Post 7
Who Am I? Ern's 2460FUN

Selina noticed that the fellow Gryffindor had decided to become mute at the very moment that their conversation had gotten akward. Selina took the opportunity to stand up and flee Ravenclaw table. This whole polyjuiced thing was a lot of Selina, she was not the best liar in the world so having to do this was giving her a rash. She swore that was why so itchy. It was just too much to handle for Selina at the moment.

When she said that she fled the Ravenclaw table it was not an exaggeration. She literally fled the table. Her red hair or more particularly Gwen's red hair flew behind her as she left the Great Hall. She knew that people would look at her, but she didn't care. The stress was killing her.

The Ravenclaw table, actually, wasn't this Ravenclaw's first choice to sit in. She was pretty determined to avoid a few Ravenclaws, but apparently she'd come at an odd enough time that none of them were around. Thank Merlin.

Ellie walked down the length of the table, glancing at the food. She realized she wasn't really hungry, but...well, if she came at another time, those other people could be here. Maybe she'd just wrap some food in a napkin and bring it back to the dormitory?

Yeah, she opened up a napkin to it's full size and began doing just that.

Ever since leaving the Room of Requirement he'd been trying very hard to find the only person he didn't want to find. At the same time he absolutely wanted to see her and her beautiful blue eyes, but he dreaded finding her, and he wasn't going to owl her to meet him or anything, he wouldn't do that.

That was very Conan-like, by the way.

It wasn't until he noticed Arya walking out of the Great Hall that he decided to enter it, faking a smile as he walked inside. Yes, he avoided her, because he didn't feel like talking right now, or ever, until he spoke to Ellie.

Treyen didn't expect to find her here, so it was a huge surprise to see that she was. And his 'time turner' thought came to mind again. He wanted one of those, and he was going to get it, sadly, he knew he couldn't undo what had happened, and he certainly wasn't going to undo the conversation that was happening next.

With a great deal of uncertainty and a somewhat distressed expression on his face, Treyen walked over to Ellie. He didn't have to fake a smile this time, it came naturally to him when he was so close to her...until he remembered what he was going to do next. "Ellie," he said, half-smiling her way. "I've been looking for you."

Why was it that what looked most appetizing at the moment were things that you couldn't put in a napkin? Like...pudding. She couldn't bring that upstairs. All she really saw were cookies...though, she wouldn't complain about not having anything but cookies to eat. She had that freedom at Hogwarts. And in just a bit she'd be home where her mom wouldn't agree that sugary treats were an acceptable meal.

Those went in her napkin.

Then she heard her name from an all too familiar voice that brought a smile to her face. Ellie turned to him and it felt like forever since she'd seen that face. She blamed OWLs. Treyen was refreshing to see...she wanted to see him, too. And that he had been looking for her only made it better. Hopefully he hadn't been looking for long, though, because then it was his own fault it had been so long since they last saw each other. "Hi," she answered. "What for?" Like he needed a reason? Pffft.

Oh, just perfect. She was putting cookies in a napkin? Cookies? That reminded him of...

...Oh, man, he couldn't do this, not after looking at her. And her smile. He didn't want to be the one to erase that smile from her face if he wasn't going to bring it back.

His mind was suddenly deprived from any possible word he could say out loud, and he had to shook his head to remove the memories that were so painful to him now. The ones with Ellie, and the one with Kurumi. "I....," can't? Yeah, that's obvious, "I need to tell you something," and one could see that it wasn't a 'happy' something. It was one 'something' people should be worried about.

Regrets. That's some awful stuff.

That... He sounded pretty serious about whatever this 'something' was. And, really, that didn't mean anything. It could be good, just serious, you know. Or it could be bad...

Ellie couldn't think of anything that could be bad, though. Granted, she didn't allow herself much time to think. But... While she came to expect a serious conversation whenever she was with Treyen, they never started out seriously. They took a turn for the worse somewhere in the middle. This was the beginning, though. Definitely the beginning.

It felt like it might be a long 'something', too. So, Ellie took a seat and took Treyen's hand and tugged as a way to get him to do the same. "Go on," she said, biting on her lip in anticipation.

Relieved. That's how he felt once he noticed her smile had dissipated, because then he wouldn't be giving her this awful news with a smile to crash it to pieces, right? No. So, it was slightly better.

But at her touch, it was all back. He was even nervous all of the sudden, yet he took a seat next to her almost immediately. Treyen was probably not going to remain seated for long, though. Asking her out was nothing compared to this. "First, I need you to listen and try to remember what I'm going to say next, and please don't argue with me if you don't agree, just listen," because that was important, having no interruptions was key.

Oh, look at that, he remained seated, and even held her hand way longer than expected before he decided to drop it. It felt like he didn't deserve that gesture.

"You, Ellie Stone, need to remember that I do care about you, I truly do, and a lot, I've said this before but you need to remember that," he started to say, eyes on her, "I love that you're part of my life, and I couldn't be more content with myself for asking you to dance that one time when we first met," right, so, basically, he was going to say whatever he knew he wouldn't get a chance to say again, and she had to know those bits of information, it was rather important that she knew, "You're the girl I think of before falling asleep, and I've hated this OWLs too much because they'd kept me away from you," yet his mind was not thinking straight because everything he mentioned didn't make sense with the sentence that followed it, but he cared very little for that at the moment.

He looked away before he continued, then looked down at his hands that were clasped together in front of him, "I did something...that I didn't do on purpose, nor I ever meant to happen in the first place," truly, he didn't. His eyes were back on her, "I will be asking for your forgiveness, but I'll understand if you don't want to see me ever again," and he couldn't say anything else, because he just realized he'd given her permission to do what he hoped she wouldn't do.

Just another regret to add to the now growing list.

"I'm really sorry, I really didn't mean to...," but he still had not said the most important part of it all.

A small smirk played on her face. That he knew she'd disagree with him. Most likely. Ellie hardly ever fully agreed with the boy. But the smirk didn't last long because...he knew she'd disagree with him. Whatever he had to say couldn't be good, then, if he knew in advance. Or, at least, Treyen knew she wouldn't like it. And she was so keen on not disagreeing with him for once. This was not going to be that, apparently.

Basically, she wasn't to say anything, right? So, even now, when she was unsure whether or not she was meant to reply, she didn't say anything. A nod would suffice, right? She nodded. No interrupting.

Ew. Why'd he use her full name? He knew she didn't like that. Least it wasn't 'Eliana', though. That would be worse. 'Ellie Stone' she supposed she could live with. But that he used her last name at all was odd. She sooo would have questioned him about it...but she wasn't to interrupt.

The girl found herself blushing and...smiling just a bit. She remembered when they met. Of all the things she could so easily forget, that wasn't one of them.

And she didn't know about the 'falling asleep' bit. That made her blush, too. She felt pretty bad for not believing any good thing he had to say about her right now. She'd always doubted he didn't really mean all the compliments he'd give her. But, Ellie saw now, that...maybe...he actually meant them. She wasn't fond of that b-word still, whether Treyen truly meant it or not.

They seemed to agree on the OWLs bit. Surely a first.

Her lip seemed like such a more practical thing to chew than anything at the table when he looked away, and her gaze followed his to his hands. They weren't that interesting, honestly, so she looked back up at his head so that whenever he decided to lift it again, she'd be looking into his eyes.

Ah, and there they were.

And that's where she knitted her eyebrows. Confused, clearly.

So.... all that... that wasn't the 'something'? No, obviously. Obviously he felt he'd done something wrong. Ellie slowly, almost cautiously, reached for his hands. She was confused...and worried. Like, what could he have done to apologize for? Seriously? He didn't break her camera... so... she had no clue.

He'd trailed off so she could talk now, right? She'd chance it. "Mean to do what?"

NO!

All he wanted was to, at least, hold her hand, just ONE of them, but he couldn't even do that, so, as soon as she'd reached his hands he stood up. His eyes were still on her, "I don't want to lose you, but I'll understand if you want me away from you," he said, and for a moment his thoughts went to their last kiss. No, wait, he couldn't remember it! Everything in his mind seemed like a blur of moving images and he couldn't see one of them clearly.

"I've been thinking about what happened, and I don't know why nor how it did, and I seriously wish I could turn back time and undo it," he said, pacing from one side to the other. He wanted to turn back time, true, especially if that incident was going to keep him away from her.

He cleared his throat once and then continued, "I wanted to tell you myself, rather than have you hear it from somebody else," because maybe, like this, he could explain a bit more.

Did he have something else to say?

Right. Treyen stood in front of her, two steps away, and his head was down, he'd rather not see her reaction, truth be told, and he was being a coward for that, but he didn't care about that right now. "I kissed someone. Another girl."

His heart was racing too fast, and he only knew that he was completely dreading her reaction.

Oh. Oh. He'd stood up. That wasn't a weird reaction from Treyen, but the timing was weird. He stood up when he got uncomfortable or irritated. Like, that time she mentioned Quidditch...and that time they had that completely worthless discussion on that one word. However, this time, Ellie was completely certain that she hadn't said anything. She wasn't talking. She was only urging him on.

HE was talking, though, but it was definitely in a beating-around-the-bush manner. Ellie really just wanted to firmly, yet kindly of course, tell him to get on with it. The suspense was so not appreciated.

Seriously?! Still?! WHAT happened, Treyen? WHAT?

She wanted to sigh. She even drew the breath to do so, but exhaled slowly, rather than in a forceful manner. But, really, he just needed to get on with it.

...That was it. She could tell by his posture that THAT was the 'something' he'd built up to. Frankly, she found it kind of amusing. Like she didn't know this? She'd SEEN him kiss other girls. And Ellie herself kissed Spike's crown on multiple occasions, and Preston's, and she even planted one on Eino's cheek that time, despite how much she despised him at the time for what he'd done to her. Why did it concern him so much, then? "I don't see why that's such a big deal..." Honestly. Unless she should be feeling guilty for those aforementioned kisses...

WHAT?!

He instantly looked towards her. Exactly how MANY boys had Ellie been kissing besides him to say that it wasn't such a big deal?! Actually, he didn't want to know, so he wasn't asking.

Unless...unless she didn't fully understand what he meant.

Treyen couldn't possibly be taking this out of proportion, right? He knew he'd done wrong, and either Ellie truly thought it was all okay....which he truly didn't believe, or she misunderstood. He was supporting the misunderstanding for now.

"You don't?" frowning, he was. But how to make her understand what he'd meant? More words, of course. Or maybe not. Remember that last kiss he couldn't see because everything was blurry? Well, Treyen decided to take those couple of steps that separated them and placed his hand on the side of her face before leaning in for the same soft kiss he'd given that other girl whose name was kept out of the picture.

He was the one to pull away, "It is not a big deal to do that with someone else, other than you?" if she said YES, then he needed to make their 'whatever it is they had'...exclusive.

Was that a surprising answer? It seemed to be. To Treyen.

Ellie simply shook her head. And he was upset about that, hence the frown. And she was confused. She would have elaborated on that, but the Hufflepuff had come closer, and at his touch, she knew what was coming. Why he was going to kiss her, she wasn't sure. But she wasn't going to ask, she was just happy to accept his kiss.

Not that it lasted nearly as long as their others...

Blink.

He'd rendered her speechless. It took her a moment to even process what he had said and still she didn't know how to respond.

He kissed another girl, it seemed. And, to answer his question, NO, it was NOT not a big deal. To her, at least. Her brain wasn't communicating with her mouth at the moment, though. She shook her head in response instead.

Blink. Blink.

Ellie was not looking at the boy anymore as she continued to blink the confusion away, and swallow the speechlessness.

Unsurprisingly, when she found her voice, the first thing she said..or asked, rather, was, "Why?" And, "Who?" quickly followed.

The 'who' was kind of important, wasn't it?

You know those two steps that distanced them before? They were back.

The silent was killing him, though, but mostly worrying him. She got the main idea, right? Oh, wait. Right there. She shook her head. Ellie couldn't speak, then? He shouldn't have done that, he shouldn't have kissed her, but at least now he knew which one was their last kiss, no? Not that it was better than not remembering which one it was, though.

Based on her reaction, he didn't know what to do. Because she wasn't reacting yet. He sighed, before looking away and pocketing his hands.

Wait, she was...asking why, of course. He turned to her as soon as she spoke. "I don't know," he hadn't known back then, and he still sort of didn't know, it was a spur of the moment thing, right? But then she had to ask the one question he didn't feel most comfortable to answer.

"Does it matter?" to him, it didn't, he'd kissed someone else, and regardless of who it was the damage was done, no?

The boy just hoped she didn't want to know, just like he'd thought he didn't want to know if Ellie had been kissing other boys. He doubt she'll be like that, though, since questions were her specialty. "I--I thought you should know."

Ellie took another deep breath and shook her head again. "There had to have been a reason, Treyen. You don't just go around snogging girls without one." Other Hogwarts boys did. She knew that. But he wouldn't.

Unless he would. And whatever Ellie had thought of him, and learned about him was wrong. While she certainly hoped that wasn't the case, she couldn't be positive at the moment.

He was right that the who didn't really matter. It would just be nice to know, wouldn't it? Because whoever it was, she was certain he liked more than her. Otherwise, there would never have been a kiss to discuss, right?

"Why?" she asked. Again. But in reference to why he thought she should know. She didn't like hearing it. She didn't want to know. So, she shouldn't know. He didn't have to tell her.

Then again, he didn't have to do it in the first place.

Or maybe he told her because...well, he really did like this other girl more than her. And so he was ending whatever they had for her. The nameless, better girl. Probably. Then, Ellie supposed, she ought to know about it.

That's the worst part of this whole thing. He didn't know what got into him, and Ellie was right. She was always right. "I'm sorry, I--," he sat at the bench in front of her, the one at the other table. Good thing the Great Hall was nearly deserted, though, and that the tables were rather close to each other, "She kissed me, and by some strange reason, I kissed her back, I...don't really know why...because she's not the girl I like," he said, looking at the floor again.

He didn't know what else he should tell Ellie, but he supposed that the 'she kissed me' part was sort of important to describe his possible reasons. He KNEW that if he managed to say that it was Kurumi the one he'd kissed, and he explained how Kurumi felt about him, how HE felt about Kurumi, then she may underst---no, no one could possibly understand.

Which is why that was left unsaid.

Huh?

Why? Didn't he say that already? His eyes found her face, "I can't lie to you," he started to say, in a softer tone, "Not telling is a way of lying, and even worse because I'd be pretending that it didn't happen. That's worse than lying, you know how I feel about that," and why he'd felt so sorry for Gilderoy, who practically pretended to be someone else for the majority of his life.

"Remember what I said at the beginning?" she needed to, she HAD to remember, "You're the only girl I like, Ellie," the only girl his eyes recognized, the most beautiful of them all. He was NOT saying that word, though.

"Will you...," he swallowed before daring to finish the question, "...will you be able to forgive me?" If she remembered what he'd said before, then she'd remember that he'll understand if she'd rather have Treyen disappear from her life. But...forgiveness...that was...a different thing.

Funny, the phrase 'I'm sorry' is. Sometimes it can mean the world. Sometimes it means absolutely nothing. This was one of those times.

Ouch.

Treyen needed to just shut up. Yes, Ellie had wanted a reason, but she didn't want a story. It felt worse, that he'd kissed back. It wasn't just a kiss. It was initiated by the other party and Treyen had the choice of resisting, but didn't. Ellie knew why. "You wanted to." It was simple because otherwise he wouldn't have. She didn't believe him when he said he didn't like the girl. He must. He might just not be consciously aware of it.

Ellie didn't believe that either, that he couldn't lie to her. Minutes ago, she strongly felt he wouldn't. But he had seemed so trustworthy until now. Whether he was avoiding lying by omission or not didn't matter to her. So, that he told her, instead of just avoiding it, didn't mean anything. Though, she chose to believe he was telling the truth when it came to kissing another girl, and that he was lying about not lying.

And, yes, she remembered what he said. She also chose to not believe that, either. Ellie thought it cruel of him, actually. To say all he had, make her really think she was the only one he liked, when he knew full well he was about to tell her something awful, something that would make her doubt it all.

The Ravenclaw crossed her legs and arms. It annoyed her that Treyen was asking for forgiveness. She couldn't look at him, because surely that would change her answer, and decided instead to look at the floor.

Could she forgive him? Ellie really didn't know. She wasn't even sure she was in a position to forgive him. They'd never said they couldn't kiss other people, now did they? Ellie'd only hoped that he wouldn't want to. But he did. And it hurt. So, again, Treyen was in trouble without actually doing anything wrong.

"I don't know." And as far as she was concerned, he was dismissed. She couldn't think properly about it when he was right there, anyway.

It was official, Treyen just wanted to be home right now. He was disliking Hogwarts very much, and when she said...what? No, he didn't want to, he never did, he never intended it to happen. He wouldn't throw away what he had with Ellie just like that. If she had the slightest idea of how much she helped him overcome loss last year, then she'd probably know just how attached to her he was.

He shook his head, but he was still facing the floor, "I didn't want to!" no, he'd wanted to kiss Ellie, not Kurumi, it was all just an unfortunate turn of events. And he certainly was disliking everything at the moment, especially his Prefecting. "I--," he was losing her, wasn't he? That's why he couldn't say another word, because he'd said he'll understand whatever her decision turned out to be, and he didn't even felt like fighting anymore. There was a reason for that, and he'd thought about it before.

It made perfect sense.

His heart saw no reason, though, which is why it was broken into pieces, thanks to him.

Ellie didn't know whether to forgive him or not, "Okay," he said, trying very hard to stop his hands from trembling, he deserved this. ACTUALLY, 'deserve', that was the reason. "I never really deserved someone as amazing and beautiful as you, anyway," he soon stood up, eyes slightly watery from his giant stupid mistake.

He'd lost her. What now?

Nothing. He said he'll understand. Yet, his heart was pleading him to fight for her, he just knew, after reading that Aparecium, that he wasn't worthy of Ellie, and now, he only got the confirmation of that. "You deserve someone much better than me, Ellie."

As soon as he uttered those final words, Treyen started to walk away. Someone should kill him before his heart did.

Seriously?! He was going to deny that, too?! Ellie rolled her eyes. It was probably unseen by the boy because of how her head was hung, but it still had the same emotional release. But, really, why does anyone kiss anyone? Because they want to. Treyen must have wanted to at some point or it wouldn't have happened.

Wait... he was jut going to accept that she didn't know? To Ellie, that only confirmed that he didn't actually care. Else he would've fought, right? It was probably smart that he didn't, though. She wouldn't have listened or believed him anyway.

Hey! Watch your language, Lockhart! Ellie was too intent on avoiding looking at him to do anything about it, but she was GLARING at him. Internally. Not just because of what words he chose to speak, particularly the b-word, but he was being mean again. He was trying to compliment her after he just broke her. It was NOT nice.

She was annoyed with him enough at the moment to agree with him, though. She thought she at least deserved someone who didn't LIE about not lying.

But...if she did deserve better, why'd it hurt so much to push him away?

Ellie wasn't going to speak to him. No. Nor was she going to look at him, but she watched his feet as he walked away. She waited a few minutes, to make sure he'd gone, before leaving herself, the cookies forgotten. It was doubtful she'd be hungry later, but even then, encountering anyone she'd previously wished to avoid would be better than what had just happened.
