The Ravenclaw common room is a wide, circular room at the top of the seventh floor. Graceful arched windows punctuate the walls, which are hung with blue-and-bronze silks. During the day, Ravenclaws have a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains. Overhead, the ceiling is domed and painted with stars, which are echoed in the midnight-blue carpet. There are tables, chairs, and bookcases, and in a niche opposite the door stands a tall statue of white marble: Rowena Ravenclaw. A delicate-looking circlet has been reproduced in marble on her head with the tiny words 'Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure' etched into the diadem. The statue stands beside a door that leads up to the dormitories above.
Come in, have a seat and make new friends. Welcome to Ravenclaw!

This prefect name was Ivory. He had to remember that. Maybe he should write it down in one of new journals. He was afraid that with meeting all these new people, he would not remember all the names.
Gavin turned around and saw that his friend Emmy was now talking to another gir. He waved at her and took the stairs to the upper floor.
Emmy waved back to him and called, "See you tomorrow!"

"Well...", she started, sucking her lips together for a brief moment. "That's what her cage is for," she replied with a smile. A faked smile. But a smile nonetheless.
She continued scribbling away at her letter. If this girl didn't like ferrets, she wondered how she'd react to a pigeon...
Dallin chuckled when she said the name was a mouthful. "It's an embarrassing name, too," he added honestly. He laughed again when he got the image of all the owls 'laughing' at Barty.
"I think so too," he said with a smile. "I've always wanted one." He didn't know why he liked them so much, he just thought they were really cool dogs. He nodded to her question. "Well, one of them. The police actually use a lot of breeds of dogs, for different reasons. I think German Shepards are the like, tough-guys of cop dogs." 'Cause they were the ones that went with the police to do catch the badguys and whatnot.
He smirked at her little boy immitation. "Funny, it was the twins that named Barty, too." Weird. "And hey, I wasn't making fun of the name," Okay, maybe he kind of was, "I think it's, uh, a good name for a crup." Of course, all the cool crups were named after foods. And a crup that barks at muggles? That would be awesome. Except maybe not for Dal, since most of his family were muggles.
"Very odd," he agreed, still smirking as Ivory looked around the room. He couldn't help but grin at the way she laughed even though she was talking. That fact was even better than what she said. "Ya know what? We should! Gavin and Barty can be great friends." Of course he was joking, because he really didn't believe that two animals could be friends.

Grinning at the phrase, Ivory gave a little nod. The ultimate guard dog is what it sounded like. The Ravenclaw's lips parted about to comment on that when she was suddenly caught by surprise. Large dark eyes blinked at Dallin. Once and then again.
"Twins? You have twin siblings too?" Her face broke out into a smile. Heh, what a coincidence.
Her laughter now under control, she laughed at his choice of words. If not great friends then they could at least share treats or roosts or...whatever it is birds prized.
Stella nodded when Kyle told her that the both are a like. "But also different," she added with a small smile. She began to twirl the tip of her hair around her finger, she always does that when she's listening to someone because it helps her to concentrate. "Mocking. A behavior of a five year old," said Stella thinking for a moment. "Yes, that's Alex," she said and laughed a little about herself. "Stop laughing," she thought to herself and she stopped.
"If that boy annoys you again tell him to 'go away and play with someone your own age'," said Stella, "But make sure you don't insult him too much. Or you could just ignore him, or start talking to him and lie about a lesson in the middle," she suggested to Kyle flicking her hair back. "Ha ha, Stella your so devious, pretty and amazing," she thought to herself scratching her hair. "Being a spy or a journalist is probably fun," said Stella to Kyle once again beginning to twirl the tip of her long, blond hair around her finger.
Stella gave her friend a serious ,but friendly, look when she talked about the fashion house for wizards she wants to open, "Can you also read minds and steal ideas from your friends too?" Stella asked sarcastically. "I also want to design clothes for wizards, but I want it to be an international company so all wizards and witches will look normal," she said looking at Kyle but also making sure that her nails are okay. "My sister, Orange is a designer but only for muggle clothes, which is good for me, so when I succeed she won't steal all the fame and glory," Stella said thinking about her sister is better than her in every single way, in studying, making friends, and of course FASHION. "And if I don't become I designer, I don't have problem being a journalist like your brother and father, or being an Auror..." She said thinking about what jobs she would like to work as when she grows -up. Realizing that she had stopped talking she added quickly, "But now I want to finish school successfully."
Kyle nodded as Stella added the line and different because the two were very different, but that itself was, most likely, that is, a good thing. She chuckled as Stella commented on Alex's behavior and then laughed herself. Well, stopping laughing so suddenly it was evident to Kyle that Stella wasn't the type to laugh as much as Kyle herself. "Oh I will do that - I'm not the type to not speak up for myself not anymore that is" she smiled and nodded. "Well that sounds like a very devious plan - I might just have to use it!" She explained with a smirking smile.
"Yeah both would be fun I'd suspect - but being both together would be even more so...all the snooping you could do" Kyle chuckled maybe the daily prophet was the place for her? She didn't know yet though. "I want to finish school successfully myself as well" Kyle smiled and nodded over to her, running a hand through her hair.
"Maybe we could be a joint team then? A duo-fashion house" Kyle suggested with a smirk, it would be amazing working with a friend.

Dallin stared back at Ivory blankly, wondering what she was blinking about. Had he said something completely weird? Hmph. It didn't matter really, because she seemed to be okay now that she spoke.
"Yep, Kinzie and Hannah. They're the youngest girls." He thought it was sort of interesting that Ivory was the second person - that he could remember - that had siblings that were twins.
"Do you have any more brothers or sisters, or are they it?"
Presley was led into the Ravenclaw common room by the head boy, Finlen? Finlay? She couldn't remember. She looked around for William, the boy she had met at the feast, or Breanna, but could find neither of them. Then she remembered, William was a Gryffindor! But where was Breanna? Wasn't she a first year too? Presley felt lost and lonely and confused.
"Yeah,unfortunetely," Charlie sighed. She hated the name Charlotte Rimsworth. It was just so old fashioned. It was her dad's fault because he wanted her to have a non-muggle name. He wasn't prejudiced, he just hoped that she would have magic like him.
"Yeah, we should do that. Thinking about it, I am pretty tired," Charlie stifled a large yawn behind her hand. "Do you think we will all be in the same dorm?" she asked, her eyes glittering.

Noel didn't answer Louisa's question of exactly what he meant by her cat being similar to her - that would have only caused more problems. He did, though catch a look of sadness about the older girl when she mentioned that her cat wasn't there... had something happened? Well, she obviously did care about animals if she looked like that at the memory of her cat, so maybe she wasn't that bad. Just maybe.
"Why isn't he or she here?" he asked tentatively, wondering if he'd even get an answer.
He stroked Rogue's head thoughtfully as he leaned on the desk at which Kana continued to write her letter, glancing at Louisa to see if she'd answer. Although her comment about locking Kit up, well... that was going a bit far, he thought. Didn't girls keep their jewellery in boxes and things anyway? Besides, a pet wasn't a machine but a living thing for heaven's sake, you couldn't just control it!
For instance, he couldn't control Rogue when the owl decided it wanted to take a quick flight around the common room. Or when it decided to swoop low over some of the students' heads, so low he'd accidentally ruffle their hair when flying overhead. Or that one of those students just happened to be Louisa. He had absolutely no control over that, although he didn't find it a bit difficult to keep a straight face when Rogue landed back on his shoulder.
He wondered what would happen once Kana revealed she also had a pigeon...

Neptune KNEW that only one person in Ravenclaw would be so happy to see and so bold as to show it.
"Mr. Carmichael." GIGGLE. Neptune's mood was almost instantaneously better. Finny would, and always had, taken very good care of Neptune Bott. "I was grounded. But I missed you, too! All summer! I worried, you know." Or he should have known. She didn't make any attempts to wiggle away from him. Finny could snuggle her until his arms fell off.

Stella smiled when Kyle said that her plan is devious. "Devious is me," she said flicking her hair over her back. "That's why many people don't want to talk to me. Apparently I'm scary," she added scratching her hair. "The bad thing about spying is that you can get caught and then..." she said thinking for a moment, "...Well lets not think about that," she said smiling friendly to Kyle not wanting to scare her thinking about what would happen to her father and brother if they get caught.
Thinking about running a shop with Kyle would be fun probably and especially if it would be a successful international shop. "Yes that would be fun," she said nodding with a smile to her friend. Stella not knowing what to talk about looked at her friend and randomly said, "Hey Kyle, what is your weakest subject?" she asked twirling the tip of her hair around her finger.

But anyway. Now that Neptune could see her long lost Prince of Ravenclaw - she could SEE several NEW things: Kellen's badge was on Finny's chest, a familiar blue patch was again marking Finny's face, and...
"Oh my Merlin, what are you doing with your hair??????????????????"

Mmm. Finlay liked this hug. It was nice to have a proper hug, not a stupid pity one he'd been getting recently. Finaly liked this, although part of him was a little worried about sitting with Neptune, with both of his arms wrapped around her. Sure they were just very good friends, but it certainly didn't look like that. He didn't really care that much though, Neptune was one of his best friends, so he'd snuggle with her if he liked.

Aww. She was playing with his hair. Finlay had a content smile on his face, as he closed his eyes for a few moment. It felt nice, and made him feel more relaxed. Neptune always seemd to do that. It was like she knew exactly how to make him feel better, without even knowing it.
Opening his eyes, Finn smiled at her. "That sounds dreadful Tune." It really did. Her brother should be more nice to her. She was the Queen of Hogwarts. "Doesn't he know you're the Queen?? He should give you more respect." Really. Finlay would poke her brother if he ever saw him.
Oh. She had noticed his Face. Not good. "A hufflepuff called Matthias punched me." Finlay frowned, his grip on Neptuen tightening a little. "Marie broke up with me on the train..." He explained this a little quieter. "The hufflepuff decided I deserved a punch for what I did to her." Although Finlay disagreed.

Aww. She was playing with his hair. Finlay had a content smile on his face, as he closed his eyes for a few moment. It felt nice, and made him feel more relaxed. Neptune always seemd to do that. It was like she knew exactly how to make him feel better, without even knowing it.

She pulled a pin from her own curls, having enough to be able to spare one, then pinned Finny's bangs from his face. Why hide a pretty face with long boy hair? No. Not on Neptune's watch.
It probably said a lot to Neptune's mental state that she completely forgot about Marie. Marie the exclusive ex-girlfriend. Marie who Neptune was sure she'd never forget. She'd totally forgotten her and Finny. Apparently though, it didn't matter anymore.
"He's the one that pointed at his wand at me in the Infirmary after...after that match." Finny would know she meant the one where Jim fell and Neptune died a little. She was quiet for a moment, slipping her cool fingers over the blueish bruise. "What did you do on the train, Fin?"

oh? He had a pin in his hair now. Finlay frowned for a second, before laughing. "Am I girl Tune?" He asked, smiling at her. The thing was....he didn't actually care that much. Neptune obviously thought that he looked pretty with them in, so he didn't really mind that much.
"He can't be..." Finlay shook his head, smiling at her. "Nobody related to you could be an ogre." Nope. Neptune Bott was absolutely gorgeous, and he was sure her brother wasn't that bad. Finn leaned forward, kissing her forehead gently. "I'm sorry you didn't have a good summer..." He really was. He'd have liked to spend some time with her, but maybe they could make up for it now. If he got his way, they'd be spending lots of time together.
"Yeah...." Finlay nodded, frowning at her. That had been a bad day. "I think he has anger issue." Especially considering that he'd just come up and punched him. No talking or anything. Finn winced as she touched the bruise. It was sore, and tender. "nothing..." He closed his eyes, not really wanting to relive what happened on the train. "She said I pushed her away....I'm not good at being anyone's boyfriend Tuney..." He finished sadly.
