Stella looked at the girls shoes. "Those are uncomfortable?!" she thought to herself, "She shouldn't try my shoes then, or then bad things would happen." Stella looked at Kyle as she transformed her high-heels to normal shoes with a simple movement of the wand. Standing up, looking rather surprised, she said looking at her new shoes, "Where did you learn to do that?"

Suddenly she forgot she is talking to 'stranger', "My name's Stella.I'm seventh year and it's nice to meet you Kyle." As she was talking smiled kindly which was really hard for her because it is too nice(for her at least). "So Kyle how is Hogwarts, enjoying the first days of school?" she asked beginning to fiddle with her blond hair hoping she doesn't like a freak and Kyle seemed to be a nice gentle girl so Stella shouldn't be to selfish next to her.

Ember walked into the Ravenclaw common room for the first time. She grinned when She she entered it was amazing and she already felt at home. She walked up to a chair and sat down gazing into the fireplace. She didnt yet have any Ravenclaw friends, all hers were in gryffindor, but she was pretty sure that she would make some.

Kyle looked up as Stella asked her where she had learned the spell she had just used - come to think of it she didn't quite remember where she'd heard it. "I think that was one of the spells I made when I was bored back at Beauxbaton in fifth year" Kyle explained with a smie.

"Well its nice to meet you Stella, I'm in seveth year as well actually," she smiled happily, it was nice to meet a girl her year especially in her own house that is. "Yeah I'm trying to have loads of fun this year, actually planning on trying for the Quidditch team this term" she added almost as an after thought.

"If you want I can help you with the shoe spell - i've also got one to expand the inside of the shoe well its basically the undetectable expansion charm you use on bags...I just found a way to use it on shoes so you can litterally buy any pair of shoes and have it fit - and look like its fitting" she explained with a smile. Kyle after all was as you could say a closet-fashionista she liked creating things as well. Like the year before she'd made miniature brooms, and this term so far she'd already adapted a few things in her wardrobe to work for numerous occasions. Her favorite was waterproofing all of her clothing so if anything ever went bad with the weather she'd still be dry on the inside - even if her hair was wet.

Care entered the common room (after spending a good 5 minutes figuring out the riddle) and was just awestruck. Everything was just beautiful! She felt so lucky that she was going to be living here for the rest of the term. She saw the statue of Rowena Ravenclaw and thought, 'I'm gonna make this house proud!' She looked around the room eager to make new friends. She spotted Hateya, a girl she met on the train, in conversation with another girl who looked their age. She approached them with a huge smile.

"Hi Hateya! How's it going?" She turned to the other girl,

"Hi! My name's Caretrix but you can call me Care. Sorry for butting in your conversation"

Her eyes gleamed not only because Kyle invented a spell(which is awesome) but also that she learned in Beauxbaton. "Wait a sec. You learned at Beauxbaton?!" Stella didn't believe that Kyle learned at the same school as her. Excitedly Stella, with a smile said, "You know that I also learned in that very school in France called Beauxbaton." She liked this kid more and more every second.

Stella listened to Kyle as she talked about how she changes her clothes and shoes. "Cool," Stella said flicking her hair over her shoulder, "Very cool." "Next time I go shopping I'm taking you with me, and you are gonna teach me every single spell which relates to making you look good," said Stella smiling thinking about how glamorous she would be if she could do those spells. "Well I don't usually invent stuff I usually learn them, and if you'd like I can help you with your... Errr," Stella thinking what say without offending her new friend, "... Help you with your high-heels problems?" She added quickly with a very natural but friendly smile.

Luna walked in she was looking for some of her friends to talk about the commonroom she saw Rachel so she went over ''Hey Rachel what do you think of the commonroom isnt it amazing'' said Luna she was so excitied to be in the commonroom

"I... I last saw her with my trunk..."
As he said that, Gavin realised he had no idea what happened to his trunk either... What did his mum say about that? He just couldn't remember. He was so tired.

"Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, where is my trunk? I saw my cat with my trunk last," he said, very unsure of himself.

He may be half-blood but all things considered, he may have known more about Hogwarts if he had been a muggle.

Charlie walked into the Common Room after spending a while trying to get past the riddle. She wasn't very good at quick thinking, she liked to ponder on things, making sure she was right. She was a bit picky like that.
She looked around the common room. It was FANTASTIC! The large bookshelf tempted Charlie and she wandered over, admiring the smell of parchment. It was like her dad's books. He had been a Hufflepuff when he had attended Hogwart's but liked reading. She picked up a book and sat down on a nearby, blue squishy chair. Charlie spotted a girl staring into the fire.
"Hi there" Charlie beamed, looking forward to making new friends. "Are you a first year too?" She looked about eleven, the same as Charlie.

Ember looked up at the sound of a near voice. She grinned at the prospect of having a friend. Especially someone in the same house as her. She was shocked to find herself a ravenclaw, she never knew she had it in her, she was alsways told she was more of a gryffindor, she never had the burning desire to learn, but instead to cause trouble. The fact that she had inner knowledge appealed to her. " Hey. I am a first year. Im Ember. Ember Weasley." She turned her body to face the girl.

His was a second year, and still the knocker had it out for him. Apparently it didn't like simple straightforward answers. It liked an explanation of his logic too. Which really wasn't fair, when all the little lad wanted to do was jump into one of the sofas by the fire. With a frown upon his face, Spike finally made it into the Common Room. Thankfully no one was around to witness his difficulty in getting in. Well, he hoped not anyway, and he gave a furtive look around to check. All clear.

With a tut and shake of his head directed at the knocker, Spike moved through the firsties and towards his usual arm chair. As he did so, he spotted Finn. "Could have waited to let me in too..." he said, shaking his head. His curls bounced lightly, except those were Matilda was located. "But at least there's no fire to start my second term here."

No yet, anyway.

, Melina hesitently walked through the portrait door, anticipating the look of her very own House common room. No matter what she had imagined, none of her thoughts compared with what she saw. Mouth agape, her eyes took in the grace and grandure that was the Ravenclaw common room. She felt like she'd just stepped into a fairy tale.

She spotted her friend Luna and another girl she'd recognized from the Ravenclaw table and decided to join their conversation.

"Hey, Luna! Hi everyone, I'm Melina. What's everybody talking about?" she said with a bright smile.

''Hey Melina the common really nice isnt it'' said Luna happily ''I love the blue and the statue of Rowena Ravenclaw and the stars'' said Luna

When Stella explained she too had gone to Beauxbaton Kyle's smile increased immencely. "Oh thats brilliant - my cousin actually just transfered from Beauxbaton recently aswell we should all chat some time about you know being french Hogwartians - I do have to say...I feel less stress on being completely graceful here then I did there - but then again, I learned how to fall gracefully and not spill a thing" she laughed slightly at the last bit she had said.

She smiled more when Stella brought up the prospects of shopping together - ironically in the past year at Hogwarts she had only met a few girls and most weren't even near her age. Other than her cousin that is - something about her normally being shy usually got in the way. But not today, not this term. She was going to be confident, she thought confidently.

"That would be brilliant and I can definitely teach you any of that...last term I made a broom because I was...well, just trying to see if I could - its loads of fun but splinters were dreaful" then again she had carved bits using a regular knife and not a wand. Stupid idea.

"And thanks - the heel thing could definitely help...especially if I ever had a date or anything" she smiled happily. "Oh and I'd like to introduce Ginger" she smiled pointing to the little Kitten on her shoulder.

Still, even though she was happy in that moment her smile slowly started to vanish the information that Katra had given to her was eating at her. Her own mother had faked her death - that was a blow to your ego. A really big blow. "She's a feisty little thing" she smiled petting Ginger and accidentally rousing her from her sleep.

Ginger stretched on her shoulder, jumping to the ground with a swift bounding movement. She walked slowly over to the other girl, as soon as the little kitten got infront of her she stopped, rolled on her back and began to paw the air.

"Oh my Godric, it's like a dream". Hey, let's get beds next to each other and be roomies, what do you say?" she bounced excitedly.

Hannah Walk into the common room with a can of root beer and a cupcake.She sat down on one the couches and turn on her ipod.She began to eat the cupcake.

''Defently'' said Luna ''i'm quite tired''

Rowan entered the common room. Not seeing any familiar faces she made her way to her favorite windowsill to sit. She climbed up into the window overlooking the lake just as her very large cat Pandora came bounding towards her. The cat jumped up, laying half on the sill and half on her lap. "Wow..Weasley." Charlie said, her words escaping from her tongue before her brain had time to comprehend. She had heard all about Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley in some history books but there best accomplishment had to be appearing in the Chocolate Frog cards. She loved the taste of the Frogs and admired the cards. She started to drift into thoughts of yummy Chocolate Frogs before she remembered she was talking to someone. Wow, I'm so greedy
"I'm Charlie..Rimsworth." She said, her smile faded slightly. God, she hated her surname.. "Are you looking forward to class tomorrow?" she grinned.

Emmy's eyes opened wide as she gazed at her surroundings. It was beautiful!! The ceiling, windows and statue-- it was perfect!! Seeing a familiar face, Emmy bounded over to Gavin, saying, " Can you believe this place? It's so pretty!"

"What's up?" she asked after noticing the troubled look on his face.

Beauxbatons, that school brought to Stella good memories, she sighed. "I actually learned my forth year at Hogwarts but then my parents got a job offering in France so we moved back to France and this year I decided to live with my aunt so I can finish school here," she explained to Kyle, "Maybe you know my sister? She was very popular in Beauxtons. Orange Swan, does the name ring a bell?"

Stella was glad Kyle agreed to teach her fashion spell, but she didn't quite understand what she tried to tell her about the broom. "Okay," Stella began, "Your broom story sounds painful so don't tell me about it, unless you me to get goosebumps." Anything which was to deal with horror, pain or torture made Stella feel sick, and being sick on the first days of school can bring you bad luck."

Stella had an idea. "If you'll teach me your cool fashion spells I'll teach you how to walk on heels,"she said gleefully. "But if you danced ballet and went on point shoes, heels should be easy for you." Stella remembered her ballet days she wasn't the best but she wasn't the worst and the ballet helped her keep fit. When Kyle introduced her kitten Stella took a small step back. She was never good with cats especially the small cute ones. Stella noticed that something happened to Kyle because she stopped smiling, but she didn't ask her what happened because she was having a great time. When the cat began walking towards her she felt a bit awkward and scared. When the cat raised its paw Stella pointed at it and said, "No offense Kyle but I don't have good luck with cats," she took a deep and said very quickly, "Especially when they do that, because the last time a cat did that to me it scratched me in my inner thigh and I was a week and half in hospital." Realizing she talked really fast she closed her eyes and opened them immediately, "Did you understand what I said right now?"

She took off her head phones.She walk over to the girl.Hi My name is Hannah Malfoy i trasnfer last year but it was half of the year.I'm a third year.

OH! Rowan started at the sound of a voice next to her. "Nice to meet you Hannah. I'm Rowan, third year also."

"Hi again, Rowan!" Smiled Beth, skipping in to the common room. "Wow..." She breathed. "Look at this place..." She said, in awe of the comfort and cosiness of the room.

Have you met my Adopted brother William.He is a first year and very annoying i'm the second oldest of my family.

"Hey Beth. It's great, isn't it? It's my second favorite place at Hogwarts."

"I have met William. He seems like a good kid, though I have to admit he is a bit hyper."
