Samira walked in the potions classroom, Aiden's hair clutched in her fingers. She scrunched up her nose as the nasty smell of polyjuice potion assaulted her. Looking at all the potions, she moved towards the one labeled with her name. The Slytherin stared at it. The only thing propelling her to drink the potion was the appeal of being able to turn into someone else for an hour. Without anymore hesitation, Samira drops the strands of hair in. The potion bubbled unpleasantly. Samira nearly gagged at the thought of having to actually drink that. This was courage Samira wasn't even sure many Gryffindors could muster. Samira scowled and picked up the potion. "Cheers," she said to no one in particular, and brought the potion to her lips. Samira grimaced as she swallowed it. She could feel herself changing. Her height became shorter. Her hair lost its curls...

"Argh!" Samira's face twisted in disgust at the taste. She was now the exact replica of Aiden Heartnett.

After exchanging hair strands with Samira, Aiden follows the other Slytherin into the Potions classroom. The strong odour of Polyjuice Potion makes her nausea. Aiden walks towards the cauldron with her name on it. She takes a peek into the cauldron and sees mud-like substance bubbling slowly. Ugh! Disgusting!

Aiden takes out a vial with Samira's hair strands in it. Carefully, she pulls out the cork closing the vial mouth. Then, slowly she turns the vial upside down just right above the cauldron causing the hair strands to fall into the mixture.

The potion starts to change colour. Taking a deep, deep breath, Aiden forces herself to devour the potion quickly. She tries really hard to prevent herself from vomitting. As she looks around the classroom, Aiden could see her transformation from the reflection on the glass jars.

Helena had never felt that nervous as she entered that creepy dungeon. Why? It was obvious. Besides having to drink that DISGUSTING thing, she also had to wander around the grounds, looking like Nika.

Holding the girl's hair in her hand, she looked around all those smelly potions, until she found the one that she made a month ago. She added the red hair and stared at the potion, already feeling nauseous.

Deep breath. She'll need a lot of those.

The girl was still staring at the potion, but then she thought that she might as well drink it quickly, and maybe it wouldn't taste that bad. And that's exactly what she did.

It tasted worse than anything she could ever imagine.

She waited for a few moments with a palm on her mouth, struggling not to get sick. Then, when she finally felt a little bit better, she kept touching her face and felt small differences, and then finally looked at her hair, which was longer, and red.

There was no Helena in the room. Just the red haired Nika.

Ness was really nervous, she was going to be a boy, a Slytherin boy for a few hours, this was going to be terrible thought Ness. She slowly walked into the classroom, where she saw all the Polyjuice potions, bubbling and boiling. Ness was starting to freak out inside, she couldn't believe she was actually doing this, she had too keep reminding herself, it's worth 50 points. Now who would be crazy enough not to get 50 points, thought Ness.

Ness took out her bag and searched for the bottle in which Jonathans hair strands were in. At last I found it thought Ness, although she kinda was wishing she had lost the bottle. Ness then looked around at each Cauldron, untill she spotted the one with her name written on it.

Nessie then watched as Jonathan walked in, he seemed to be pretty nervous too. Well waasn't everyone thought Ness.

Penny entered the room that held all the cauldrons containing their Polyjuice Potion...

Walking around classroom, checking the label on each, looking for her own cauldron - finally finding it near the back of the room.....

Sidling over to it, she gave it a stir.... checking her textbook and stirring again, thought..well it looks like it should.... Now just waiting for her partner to arrive..

Violet walked into the classroom seeing there were already a couple of other students in there. And she saw that some of them had already had consumed their potions and became their partners already. Violet then saw Penny in the back of the room and then she waved at her eagerly,"Hi Penny!" Before she met up with Penny in the back she took a quick scan to find her cauldron and when she did she found it was right by Penny. She then said to her sweetly,"This is going to be so intriguing!" Violet then had caught a whiff of what the potion had actually smelt liked and she immediately covered her nose saying,"Oh Merlin..I didn't realize it would smell so rancid.." She then tried not to breathe with her mouth open in fear that she would get the taste in her mouth.

Penny breathed a sigh of relief when she saw Violet, walking into the room - immediately regretting breathing so deeply, she felt positively sick to her stomach with the disgusting whiff coming off the potion...

"Hey Violet... Yeah, this going to be very interesting".., then thumbing through the book, finding the Polyjuice Potion page to see what they had to do next...

"Ok, so I think we each pour a goblet full of our own potion and then we add the hair - and it turns into...something"...smiling.

Yanking two hairs from her hair, she handed it to Violet -- "Your turn"

Violet set her little area up as Penny looked through the book. Then she said,"Alright.." Violet watched Penny yank her own hair out of her head and then when she said handed Violet her hair and told her it was her turn she paused for a second but then said,"..Right.." She closed her eyes as she got her fingers on two strands of hair and then took a deep breath before giving it a little tug and they immediately came out, but in the process a light yelp escaped Violet's lips. Then gave a little ,"Ow..", before handing her two strands of hair to Penny.

Penny took Violets hair from her and put it safe between two pages.... Lifted the ladle from the counter and began pouring the potion into a goblet...

When her glass was almost full to the brim, She laid down her ladle, looking to see if Violet was doing the same...

"Ok i'm ready to add your hair to my potion....Just out of curiosity, is there anything i should know? before i become you, i mean", with a smile..

Violet also lifted her ladle and began pouring the potion into her goblet again trying not to breathe too much. As soon as it was full Violet was about to put Penny's hair in it when she asked her anything she should know and stopped herself.

"Yes actually, umm..I'm a Part Veela so don't be surprised if you notice a lot of boys staring at you like you're a princess or something..Don't worry you get used to it, very fast..Umm..I have a boyfriend..His name is Christopher James and he's a third year in Gryffindor, so if you guys run into each other just let him know that you're not me, I trust you.." She smiled sweetly and then added on,"And...I have two best friends that I'm with a lot..One of them is Selina Skylar she's a Chaser and a Second Year in Gryffindor, I'm sure you know her..Really short and has firey red hair, yes that's her..And my other best friend is Elektra Draven she's also a Second Year but she's a Slytherin, she has raven black hair and emerald green eyes..So don't be surprised if they approached you...And I think that might be it and I think you should be alright..Anything I need to know about you Penny?" Violet smiled brightly.

Rose placed Jordans hair into the potion. It turned a fiery red. 'Woah! Hey, look what you look like!' Rose grinned. She drank the potion, and felt a sudden urge to throw up... 'Ew! You don't taste nice though!' Rose joked. 'Hey, anything I should know? Like people you hate, people you like? Like, if you like William, I can't exactly be rude to him, can I?' Rose explained. 'Anyone you really hate? And, vice-versa?' Just in case he didn't understand, she expanded. 'As in best friends or so?' Rose told him.

Penny thought for a few seconds before answering...Uhm... No i don't think so... Well my closest friends are both first years, one is a Slytherin, Aurora Quinn, long red hair, green eyes the other is Rose Potter from Gryffindor, shoulder length brown hair, blue eyes...

I think the only thing i can think of that i'm on the quidditch team, I play chaser - we may have a practice at some stage.. cos we have a match next weekend..

So are we ready to do this then..... you can count us down

Violet then nodded her head and said,"Alright..I think I can remember those names..." Then she realized it was time for them to become..each other. Violet looked at Penny and asked,"Ready?" She nodded to her and then added Penny's hair into the potion and the potion turned into a murky brown and she gasped a little looking at the color. "This potion just looks more and more revolting by the second.." She then lifted up her goblet and the smell just got worse ad Violet felt her stomach turn. Violet then shook her head and said,"Alright...One...Two..." She paused not wanting to say three but then said it,"..Three!" Violet pinched her nose shut and brought the goblet to her mouth and then began to drink the potion trying her best to keep from smelling it. It was as disgusting as it looked and smelled, on top of that it was chunky and it felt gross as it ran down her throat and practically dropped into her stomach. When most of it was gone she put the goblet down and held onto her nose still. The only thing that could escape her mouth at that point was,"..Ew..."

But it didn't take long at all for Violet to feel that she was changing. She could feel her height shrinking a little shorter than Violet's normal height, even though she's only 5'2", yes she had only grown an inch since lasy year. She then looked down at her body which was that of an 11 year old girl, only it wasn't Violet's anymore. She then noticed brown hair falling in frown of her face and then she lifted her hair and pulled a few to look at her now brown hair. Violet blinked a few times and then she looked back at Penny who was now Violet. She then gasped and squealed jumping up and down saying,"Yay! It worked!" Violet clapped eagerly. She also noticed though that her school uniform was a little big on her now that she was only 11 again, but thankfully Penny was the same shoe size at Violet so she still fit perfectly in her Mary Janes.

Penny added Violets hair to the potion in the goblet and watched it change color... it now had a bit of a goldy yellow coloring to it..

thank merlin, yours doesn't look too bad, pity about the smell though...

one.. two..........three !!!!

EW, that's disgusting.., she said as she drained the last of the potion, feeling her stomach get nauseous again... Putting the goblet on the counter, and then almost suddenly, Penny began to change - she was growing taller, her hair had turned a goldy blonde color, within seconds had become Violet.... and looking across saw that Violet had changed too - into 'Penny'..

Penny started jumping up and down with Violet...Yay, it actually worked... and very cool..

This has to be the weirdest things i'm ever gonna do -- kinda freaky... How do you feel?? Ok can we maybe swap robes, cos your a little taller than me and my robes feel a little tight on my shoulders..??"

Violet jumped up and down for a few more seconds before she had calmed down. Then she agreed saying,"Yes, this is probably going to be one of the oddest potions I'll ever do at Hogwarts..But it definitely is the most interesting to do!" Violet then said,"I'm feeling alright..Although I think I still taste that polyjuice potion in my mouth..Ugh..But anyways, how are you feeling?" She immediately nodded her head saying,"Yes, we probably should swap because my robes feel somewhat big on me..So I definitely agree on swapping.."

After she had finished jumping up and down and caught her breath.. she began taking off her outer robes and handed them to Violet....

"I feel great, but yeah I know what you mean about the taste though", Penny suddenly had a thought... "Oh my merlin, I forgot that i'm supposed to have lunch with Rose today....Oh the fun starts here hahaha"

Violet almost immediately began taking off her outer robes and handed them to Penny, taking the robes from Penny. Then when she had mentioned Penny was having lunch with her friend Rose Violet sort of froze and then said,"And I supposed she doesn't know that you don't look like you now?"

Why was Iris doing this again? Oh, that's right. She was too slow in picking a partner in class and got stuck with Josh.... and she was insane enough to actually want to still do this final with this partner. The House points, Iris... think of the House Points....

Walking into the classroom, the Head Girl walked over to where their polyjuice potion was sat, clearly marked with their names. Seeing that Josh was NOT there, she sighed. Typical. Because she now had nothing to do until Josh showed up, Iris fiddled with her Head Girl badge while watching the students that were already there and already turning into other students.

She was actually insane. In a very short amount of time, she'd be letting Joshua Bloody Carter turn into HER, and she'd be handing her Head Girl badge over to him...

Penny was holding her sides laughing.... "uhm I might have forgotten to mention it"... struggling to breath properly..."I wish I could be a fly on the wall when she figures out that i'm not me...", howling with fresh laughter again...

We should go down to the great hall and see what happens

Quickly pulling on Violets robes, ah these are much better, she thought.

This was going to be...well...extremely awkward but...yes...at least he had reasons to add with a 'but' which made the thought of what he was going to be doing in a few moments feel a little bit less awkward. On the other hand nothing could beat the awkwardness of turning into a GIRL. If she was Evelyn...maybe but only maybe...he would be feeling less weird about this yet this was Iris...he was not really close enough to be turning into her. Eh? Could anyone get close enough to someone to turn into that person taking his or her place?

Yes, being someone else was going to be difficult. And it was going to be more difficult to be a girl. Like what were they going to be doing about their clothes? Iris would not like her figure wandering around the school in some Gryffindor boy's uniform which was probably going to be large for her body. And there was no way Josh was going to wear any skirts for that matter.

Walking in the classroom where their cauldrons full of the Polyjuice Potions rested, the lion boy looked around first and when his eyes spotted the Head Girl, he approached her in deep silence not really knowing what he could say....all over again. But at least he could greet her, it would have been extremely rude not to so and nope Josh was never rude. Not to any girls at least.

''Ummm...hi.''

Violet then said"So should I pretend to be you? Or...just be me?" She finished pulling on Penny's robes and then fixed her hair a little, well Penny's hair.

Penny had her answer immediately..."Pretend to be me.. for a little while - i'm interested to see how long before Rose notices the swap", straightening her robes around her, and settling hair back into place...

Selina walked into the Potions classroom and started to watch as all of the students changed into a person other than themselves. She was slightly put off by how odd the switch was, but she kept her lips shut. Girls turning into boys, boys turning into girls... it was odd to say the least. Then again she would be doing the same in a matter of moments. So she walked over to her brew which had come out correctly. It was the first potion she had ever done in Lafay's class that had not exploded or gone terribly wrong. It was elation to a new degree 'course it only worked because she had help.

Then she stood by the cauldron and waited for her partner... this would be interesting.

Iris looked away from the doodle she was making on a scrap piece of parchment when she heard Josh. "... Hi." He sounded TERRIFIED. And he'd actually shown up. Great... This meant Iris actually had to go through with this. "I'm actually going insane, to do this..." she muttered, glancing to the cauldron.

"All right, Josh... we might as well just get this over and done with... The sooner we become each other, the sooner we can get back to our proper selves." She pursed her lips, nervously. Did she REALLY want those 50 points THAT badly?? ... Yes. Yes, she did. She did worry, though. What if Josh made her lose her badge or something!? Like... Tate walking up to her and TAKING the badge off of her losing it?? Oh, Iris didn't think she'd be able to deal with that.

She picked up the two cups that she'd placed next to the cauldron, and having already cleaned them thoroughly, Iris filled them with the Polyjuice Potion. Looking at Josh, Iris got off her stool and stood in front of him. Picking up the cups, she handed one to Josh.Then, she reached up and took one hair off her hair and handed it to him. The Head Girl did all of this without saying a word... because, really... not saying anything was easier than talking through it. Now, all she needed was Josh's hair and then they could get this started.
