Once upon a time, in a large faraway city called New York, lived a beautiful and sweet woman...

She dreamt that one day she and her husband would have a beautiful baby girl.. and a year later, her dream came true and she did have a beautiful baby, but sadly she died just after the birth, making the child motherless....

The husband remarried again, but this woman was not like his first wife, she was vain, conceited, bossy and arrogant..

Everyday the woman would ask her butler who was the prettiest in the city and every day the butler would reply that she was the prettiest..

Seventeen years later, the stepmother asked the butler and he gave her a new answer - that another girl was the prettiest of all girls.... and her name was Ginny.

The stepmother fumed, jealous that this child that she helped raise would be more beautiful than she..
She ordered her chauffeur to drive her a really tough area of the city, where she hired a thug to kill the child...

The thug waited for the child outside school one afternoon, and lured her away deep into Central Park, there in the middle of nowhere he bundled the girl into the forest, about to shoot her - the girl cried and begged the thug not to do it - pleaded with him to let her go...The thug took pity on such a sweet and innocent girl and let her go free..

He returned to the city, telling the stepmother that the child was dead.... she was beside herself with glee..

Meanwhile Ginny, had been walking for 2 days, without food and water... She reached the city limits, exhausted, hungry and lost.... Walking down strange streets, the girl saw college dorm rooms and entered a building.... finding a door open, she went in - helping herself to some food from the fridge..

Feeling very tired, she found the bedroom and sat down on one of the bed, laid back and promptly fell asleep..

The seven people who shared the Dorm room made their way back from classes.... Hungry after a long day of study, upon entering the room, they immediately know that something is amiss..Three of the guys walked into the to kitchen, they saw debris of food on the counter... while the other four went into the bedroom to clean up before dinner, they found a strange sight..
A beautiful young girl fast asleep on the bed.

The girl woke with a start on hearing voices beside her... all seven guys were standing beside her whispering.... Jumping up and off the bed, she immediately began the explanation of how & why she was there..

The guys, who were dwarves, were totally stunned that anyone could treat another human being like this... they offered to shelter the girl and in return she would look after them, like clean their apartment and have dinner ready when they got home from college every day ... they advised her not to talk with strangers...

The stepmother was absolutely delighted that her plan to get rid of Ginny worked.... She asked her butler the usual question everyday and again the usual answer came... until one day she asked him "Who is the prettiest in all the city?", and he replied that Ginny was indeed the prettiest.... across town the girl had just left the dwarves apartment for the first time since her arrival, she needed to visit the store for supplies...

The stepmother was livid, because she had believed the girl to be dead.... She hatched another cunning plan to finally rid herself of the troublesome girl.... The jealous stepmother decided to use an innocent girl scout to deliver the fatal blow to the girl who would be prettiest in all the city..
The stepmother hastened to the kitchen to bake a 'special' apple pie..

Three days later, Ginny was cleaning the dorm room, when the doorbell went, she answered the door, even though the dwarves had told her not to.....

There stood a small girl scout, she had cookies in her box and one last apple pie.. Ginny thought that the dwarves would love a warm apple pie with ice-cream for dessert... So she bought it off the girl, walking inside to the kitchen, Ginny smelled the wonderful aroma of the pie, unable to help herself, she cut a slice and began to eat. The pie was delicious, but Ginny began to feel unwell and before she could call for help, she fell to the ground.... She was dead.

The dwarves arrived home from college and discovered Ginny laying on the floor, immediately calling the emergency services...The Paramedics came, checked Ginny over and said she was not dead, but was in a coma and unlikely to live for much longer..

Ginny was rushed to hospital and the doctors began treatment right away.. tests confirmed that the girl had been poisoned by the apple pie.. but they did not hold much hope for the beautiful girl...

The dwarves were lost with grief, not knowing what to do next for the girl - they had an idea of who was behind it, so they went to Campus Police to report the crime...

That evening a young policeman called Harry, walked into Ginnys room, and felt his heart break a little, never had he seen such a wondrous and sad sight at the same time, wondrous at her absolute beauty and sad because she was dying.... And he decided right there that the stepmother would not get away with this travesty, he turned and left Ginnys room and made his way back to the Police station..

He sent the apple pie off to forensics for testing, questioned all the people in the dorm building and soon discovered that a girl scout had been selling the day Ginny had fallen into a coma...Harry found the girl scout and questioned her.. The girl scout told Harry about the stepmother, confirming to him what the dwarves had suspected...

Harry went to the stepmothers house and found her eating dinner with Ginny's father... When confronted with the allegations, she was flustered, unable to answer the questions Harry asked her...Ginny's dad was absolutely furious with his wife - for he had believed that his daughter had run away from home..

He immediately went to the hospital, to his daughters bedside, the pain in his heart was unbearable, his beautiful baby girl laying there helpless and dying...
The dwarves came to visit and met the father, they told him all that the stepmother had done to the girl - He was very angry with his wife but even more angry with himself for having missed the signs...

Harry brought the stepmother to court, charging her with attempted murder, and to the delight of the dwarves, Ginny's father and Harry, she was found guilty and sentenced to 15years hard labour on the chain gangs in Arizona..

Ginny was moved to a rehabilitation centre two days after the trial was over.... the doctors were giving Ginny different treatments everyday, and then one day they hit lucky - Harry was visiting at the time, he thought that if things had been different he would very much liked to have dated and married this young woman... tears leaked from his eyes.. he leant forward to give her a farewell kiss, as his lips touched his - She awoke from her coma, the medications finally working.. and looking into the face of a handsome police officer, she smiled for the first time in two months...

Ginny's father was overjoyed with the recovery of his daughter, as were the dwarves, but none of them held the happiness of Harry.... He had fallen in love with the girl, she was very pretty, but Harry soon discovered that her soul was just as pure.... For Ginny had forgiven her stepmother her crimes....

Harry and Ginny get engaged, and with her fathers blessing, they were married in the same church as her mum and dad.....

And they lived happily ever after.......
