| | Library Reading Lounge As you enter the Hogwarts library, what appears to be a cozy nook in one corner of the main area appears most appealing to the Hogwarts student interested in his or her reading. Upon further inspection, you see that this comfy area is larger than it had seemed on first sight. Spread throughout the room are clusters of armchairs, surrounding magical reading lamps giving off different levels of light, all of which are appropriate for reading. These clusters are perfect for study groups or group projects.
Here and there are a few lone armchairs for the student who enjoys quiet solitary reading, and a number of sofas for any that would rather stretch out and put their feet up. Be sure not to muddy them up though!
A soft glow of light is present throughout the room, with more magical lamps in each possible reading space. Be sure not to make much noise and respect some students' wishes to read in quiet.
One last note, no food or drink in the reading lounge. Happy reading! |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Liam Coleman Seventh Year | Irish eyes || Nanny McPhee Perhaps that's why he came back.
Because maybe, in the back of his mind, Damien knew he'd see her. She was the studious one between the two of them, after all. He still couldn't figure out why she'd want to hang out with a slacker. When there were more interesting guys around to speak with.
Like her boyfriend for example.
Lockhart had a point though-- just because he saw the kiss didn't necessarily mean the two of them were together. Though it was hard to believe and force through his mind that he might still have a chance. But -- did he want that chance with her?
His eyes never left her as she strolled casually past him to find a chair of her own. She either noticed him and was choosing to ignore, or she really had walked past him without a single clue he was sitting so close. Feeling more weight than normal, Damien sighed inwardly, looking down at his shoes.
And then he heard her voice.
It perked him up instantly, especially to see that smile. He couldn't help but smile back and nod his head to her. "'Lo, Isobel," he said, accent peeking through. This time, however, he didn't mind it as much. |

It perked him up instantly, especially to see that smile. He couldn't help but smile back and nod his head to her. "'Lo, Isobel," he said, accent peeking through. This time, however, he didn't mind it as much. There it was again, his accent. She loved it when it seeped through in to his voice. It was....awesome? She didn't know a good word for it, all she knew was that she loved it. ANYWAY... "How are you?" She wanted to ask, are you still upset? She still didn't know why, and she still wanted to know why, but she would never ask him that. She didn't want this meeting to be awkward, she wanted it to be like things used to be. Comfortable, easy, happy. She wanted to lay on the beach with him and look up at the clouds. She wanted to climb the treehouse with him and hold his hand the whole way. She wanted to hug him and have him hug her back.
But the last time they had talked she could tell there was something bother him, something more than the hug. And she could help but feel like it had something to do with her. She didn't know she had done. "Read any good books lately?" It seemed like a good thing to say, they were in a library after all.

Their fight in the courtyard was still very fresh in his mind, and it appeared it might have still been on Isobel's mind, too. Damien hadn't exactly explained why he was upset with her -- and she can't read minds. He was sure she hadn't seen him around the corner the night he saw that kiss. Again another reason why she wouldn't know why he was upset with her.
"I'm well, thank you," he said. Simple reply, but he felt he owed her so much more. "How are you?"
Damien had to laugh regarding question of reading. "I've never really been one for reading, Isobel --" his voice trailed off at the sound of her name. Felt like he hadn't said her name in years, and something inside clicked. |

Felt like he hadn't said her name in years, and something inside clicked. She had been hoping for more of a response than the standard one. But there were only so many answers to that question, most people didn't give an in depth answer. She had kind of hoped Damien would though. To her. "I'm good." See? Standard. She was standard too. She didn't want to be though. "It's hot in here," she said. "Want to take a walk outside?" It was June, so it probably wasn't any better out there, but that was beside the point. She didn't care about the temperature.
