SPOILER!!: <33 !! The boy jumped when the girl exploded the apple using her wand. What kind of magic WAS that? Jamie had never been able to produce anything as cool. "Hey, I was only spreading the joy by singing songs, and you victimized me!" So if that didn't make her mean, then nothing would. Only thirteen!? That meant only one thing... She was the same age as him!!!! "I'm a third year. Thirteen, too." Oh Merlin, now it was only obvious that she would be seeing the mean girl around lots more. They were in the same year and the same house. (He could just tell that she was a Slytherin, by the way.) Ooooooh, she was good at this fake crying thing. Jamie narrowed his eyes but continued. "She is LYING!!!" WAIL.... "I don't know how to curse people. The wizarding part of my brain is f-f-faulty. And she was making fun of me." Wibble. WHAT. "Pirates ARE real. Didn't you attend History of Magic?" Where the professor clearly stated that they existed. Sheesh. With a nod, Jamie followed the mean girl to the library, and only just realized that he still didn't know her name. Not that he really wanted to know her name, but if they were gonna be searching for treasure together, it would be helpful. "I'm Jamie, by the way." He said awkwardly. |
Spreading the joy through songs? More like torturing her poor eardrums. Never in her life had she heard such a racket. The Brunette sniggered at his statement rolling her eyes. "I would very much like to be able to hear in the future, let you continue singing and that never would have happened" she resisted the urge to poke out her tongue. See.. She wasn't older. They were actually the same age. "Exactly. So you can't use your I'm younger and more innocent excuse can you?" she smirked and winked at him just as the pair walked through the doors of the Library. And the silly boy decided to wail like a.. Goodness knows what. "Shuuush. We're in a Library" she sneered under her breath as she found a spot to sit down. There. That would put an end to this fake crying business. Her blue eyes rolled as he argued against her saying Pirates weren't real. "Fine they do exist. But if I had told you that you would have probably run a mile" she stated crossing her arms. And what use would that be? She needed his help, having a cowering thirteen year old would be no help at all. "The names Delilah." And he should never forget that name. Because he was probably going to be seeing a LOT of her for the rest of this term. "Do you think we should look at some books?" she asked, walking down the aisles and glancing at the book titles, trying to find something appropriate. There was a load of stuff about the History of Hogwarts but she had read that many a time and she was pretty certain there wouldn't be anything in there. |

Finally reaching the page she wanted, the girl looked at the title: The Wit-Sharpening Potion. Perfect! Finally realizing that she was talking to someone, the young ravvie turned around to Presley and grinned. Please don’t get upset that I didn’t pay attention to you…please?, she thought. ‘Hmm, well, I noticed there was almost no one in the Potions Lab…’, Gwen started saying. Of course there was no one there, Gwendolyn, only you are bookwormish enough to want to do something extra in Potions, she told herself. ‘…and I want to go there and start brewing some potions.’, she finished talking. ‘I was just looking for a potion that isn’t very hard, but not very easy either.’, the girl continued. Turning the book in Presley’s direction, so that she could see it properly, Gwen continued:’ I think The Wit-Sharpening Potion would be best to start with’, she said nodding. |

Gwen kept studying the book, trying to decide if this potion was indeed the best. Probably… She looked at the ingredients first. Dificulty to find them:2/5, she informed herself from the book. Wait a sec- I found some of these ingredients for the Potions homework, so I will find them around., Good. The girl didn’t even look at the difficulty of the potion. She was sure she could do it. After she heard Presley ask if she could watch, she puffed. ‘Hmph- watch? Just that? I expected you wanted to try it out too….’, Gwen said. I thought I sounded convincing enaugh. After a short break she added:’ As you wish. I think it’s boring to just watch.’ Then, she remembered something about this potion. ‘Did you know that Charlie Miller invented the potion? He was in his 5th year and had problems getting all of his studying done for the O.W.L.s. He decided to concoct a potion that would solve his most unfortunate problem.’Then, she remembered something else: 'Ow, he was in Ravenclaw too!' ‘He knew that the O.W.L.s are the most important exams in wizarding school, and that if he wanted to qualify for a good job, then he would need to pass at least half of his exams with an "outstanding" mark. Potions were no problem for him. It was by far his favorite subject. His problems lied in Charms, Transfiguration, and Herbology. Since he knew his strong subjects, he considered making a potion to help him pass his exams.’, she continues, hoping that she remembered everything. Do I read too much?, Gwen asked herself. Thinking that what she said was already too much, Gwen thought if she should go on or not. ‘Unfortunately for Charlie, the professors found out about his discovery, as did the exam instructors.’. she finished. |

‘Hmm, well, I’m doing this so I can get better in Potions. I felt quite awkward at the first lesson. I felt I wasn’t able to finish the shrinking potion’, she remembered. However, she did finish it, but the young ravvie didn’t wish to feel stupid and dumb in another Potions class ever again. Now, back to the potion… , she checked out the book again. ‘Oh, good- there are also the instructions here!’, she exclaimed happily. ‘It’s going to be easy, then…’, or at least I hope so, she wanted to add. |

"We were interested in all the pirate stuff that's been going on around here. And we decided that we should go do a little bit of research. See if what the clues are telling us is true" she stated truthfully. "What do you think? Do YOU believe in the pirate stuff?" she asked raising her brow. |

After a short break, she added:’ Too bad we can’t try it out. Not if Professor Lafay is there ,anyway.’ |
Ronnie walked into the Reading Lounge, and began to read a book on Quidditch that she had found on a shelf in the library. She opened it to the first page, and saw a giant black spider crawling up the page. She new she had to be quiet, but couldn't help it. She had arachnophobia. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" she screeched, throwing the book as far away from her as possible. She hid behind a chair. "SPIDER! SPIDER!" she yelled. "IN THE BOOK!" she was shaking all over. What a wimp. |

As Gwen continued studying about the Wit-Sharpening Potion, she heard someone screaming. What in the world...?, she asked herself while looking around. Ah…a spider, she established soon. Then her eyes fell on the girl that seemed quite freaked out. ‘Are you ok?’, the ravvie asked, really trying not to laugh, however, grinning. Truth was, Gwen didn’t like spiders either, but this was too much. Turning back to the spider, she pointed her wand at it: ‘Wingardium Leviosa’. Perhaps this wasn’t such a helpful spell, but it was one that Gwen could do without problems. Then, after making a short break she asked the girl: ’Where shall I put it?’ It would be cruel to just kill it. Not even waiting for her answer, Gwen directed it towards the window, as far as possible from the freaked out Gryffindor (that seemed of about her age). She noticed a small opening in the window glass, so she tried moving the spider through it. Finally succeeding, she placed the spider on a leaf of the tree that came close to the window. Again, turning back to the girl, she asked for the second time :’Are you all right?’. Did I already say that?, she finally realized.. |

Hallie hadn't been in the library all too long when she had found her favorite over stuffed chair and plopped down in it. She had a book on flowers and their meanings with her, not that she found it too interesting at the beginning of the first page, but she needed a break from the other school books. Sitting comfortably with her legs curled up under her, one elbow on the chair of the arm propping up her head, she began to read, struggling to get through the first chapter that seemed to be about nothing. |

As usual, Roderigo entered the library because he had some spare time in his schedule. The library was unusually packed, and the seventh-year could not find a free seat. After several minutes, he found a vacant stuffed armchair that was sitting close to another that was occupied by an unfamiliar Slytherin girl. He felt it would be rude if he just took the chair, so he slowly walked up the girl. She seemed old enough to be a seventh year, and she was reading a book about flowers. He tapped her shoulder and coughed to get her attention. "Excuse me," he said with his Spanish accent, "May I sit here?" he pointed to the empty seat beside her. |

Wow! I always wanted to meet a Weasley! ‘I’m Gwen. Gwen Greene’, she said shaking Ronnie’s hand. ‘It’s nice to meet you’. Then looking over her shoulder, she noticed the book was still on the floor. ‘What is it about?’, she asked, pointing to the book, then went to pick it up. |
Today study was going to be a different, more exciting and a little bit more serious. And the reason was reluctantly dragging his feet behind Louisa as she walked into the Reading Lounge… she was skeptic about him being silent all time and here they could sit in a far corner where they could whisper things. Not that she would allow conversations but still. "You have everything you need? Or do we need to ask Madam Donovan for something?" She glared at him over her shoulder. He better be ready, Louisa didn't like slacking off especially people related to HER house. |

Attempting to catch the book on it's way down, Hallie leaned forward in her chair but wasn't able to catch the book as it landed with a THUD on the floor in front of her chair a few feet away. "There?" She asked, nodding her head in the direction of the only empty chair. She half a mind to say no, that it was taken for a friend who was going to study with her....but instead she did the nice thing and shook her head no. "No, go on ahead." She said with a half smile. |

Walking ahead of her, Dal sat down on the end of one free couch, dropping his bag at his feet and raising an eyebrow at the third year. "Now what?" |

Moving on. "Now.." Replying to his not-so-cheerful question, ".. we predict the things that we will read in the next hour." And because he probably wouldn't understand her she elaborated automatically, getting her Care of Magical Creatures book out. Yep, the monstrous one. Then she stroked its back and opened it to a bookmarked page, "For example, I am going to read the next ten pages and memorize the needed information." She looked at him to see if he was listening... or not asleep. "So after the hour, I should see if I accomplished my mission." She ended beaming. Wasn't that a brilliant idea?! ^__^ |

Sighing, Dallin reached down to pull his potions book out of his bag. He had lost the sock-race-thing, so he couldn't complain about having to study. But that didn't mean he had to be happy about it. He leaned back against the couch, stretching out his legs and opening his book to a random page. While Louisa talked he mostly tuned her out, but he got the gist of what she was saying: she'd make sure he remembered what he'd read. "'Kay," he said shortly, starting down at his book. His eyes wandered over the page for a moment before he actually started reading. And actually, he did read. For about three pages. Then he got bored and started to let his mind wander. Thankfully though, he had enough sense to keep his eyes on the book so that Louisa hopefully wouldn't suspect him of zoning out. Maybe he could even sleep a bit. |
