Walking into the Great hall Mikey Finds a seat at the huff table. he pulls his robe hood up over his head keeping his eyes on his plate he picks at his food looking up to the professors table waiting for Lefay to arrive

"That's odd... because she said she wouldn't want to be alone with him and you know how she gets upset that I'm not around her enough."
*They were always dealing with not being together enough but now she wants space? Well she must this was Mia who was telling him. She would never lie to him about stuff like that.*

"I know that they are friends and I trust her but I don't trust that slimy git... and I know that after awhile he gets to her too. After all the pain and hurt he gave her... I'm pretty sure she would rather just move on. But he keeps shoving it back in her face and you know our girl, even though she's a snake she has a big heart. I think being around puffs so much has gotten to her."

Did she really? After Marie had gone out of her way to insist that she go with him to Ballycastle this summer... this is what she told people.

"Right... well something must have changed then..." he said. He did a rather impressive job of keeping his anger out of the conversation... if he said so himself. It would have been a dead giveaway if Mia would have looked upset at Matty's statement.

Carter fought the strong urge to laugh in Matty's face. Really. If he was that insecure about things then something was wrong on his end, not Carter's.

"He's not the only one in the friendship there. I'm sure she starts the conversation just as often as he does."

"Besides. Marie isn't one to just take someone following her around. She enjoys his company."

But Matty was right about one thing. Being around those badgers did have an effect on Marie. She was becoming more and more like the guy sitting across the table. And if that continued... well... then a conversation like this would never need to happen again. Because he would have ended the friendship.

"Maybe your right... she told me this three days ago though... I don't know but like I said I trust Marie."
*Looking down at an empty plate in front of him. Matty trusted Marie but the fears were always in the back of his mind. It was kind of hard to not have those fears, just look how they started out.*
"Mia... I feel like I'm always having to prove myself... not to her. We love each other more than life itself. But... I don't feel worthy of a girl like her. I was just a quite little book worm who hit a growth spurt. Marie is... well one she's stunningly beautiful. But that's not even the surface. She's kind, thoughtful, extremely smart, speaks her mind... sure she lets people think she is a bully but the real Marie, the one we know is so much more."

*Rubbing the back of his neck Matty tried to push those fears away. Marie told him that he had nothing to worry about. But with Carter, Evan, Jim, even thoughts of Finn worry him from time to time.*

After what had just happened, Caroline need food and alot of it. She had made a loyal mess of everything now. The extemely upset Caroline slowly walked into the great hall. It was clear that she had been crying. Will she had been the one crying but Kita was the one who appeared to be the one crying. And upset. And where does Caroline go when shes upset..... her common room to hide.... But where would Kita go..... the great hall? Even if she did go there when upsit that's where she wanted to be.

Kita [s]Caroline[/] was extemely hungry. She walked to the Slytherin table. Why was she going there she was Kita, a hufflepuff. She didn't sit down. Instread she just walked to the end of the Slytherin table and walked down to the puff table. She sat down. Kita had alots of other puff friends so maybe they would come talk to her thinking that she was Kita. She poured a glass of pumpkin juice.

What did she want to eat? She looked around at the table for something grabbed a turkey sandwitch. Yep Caroline wanted a turkey sandwitch and she didn't care if that wasn't what Kita wanted.

Carter stabbed a nearby piece of fruit. Three days ago? When was Marie planning on telling him that he bothered her? He regretted Marie talking him in to going with him to check out the Ballycastle Bats. He had based his whole entire future on someone who apparently didn't even care to go. She shouldn't have volunteered then!

He popped the fruit into his mouth to keep from responding to Matty's statement about proving himself. He couldn't say anything. It would be a dead giveaway he wasn't Mia. He was pretty sure something like that would ruin his potion's grade. And the huffielump was not worth him failing a class for.

"You should go talk to her." he said simply. Mostly because he was already bored talking to the guy and would love to eat in peace.

And because there was a piece of ham taunting him. He couldn't eat it as Mia in front of the-boy-who-knows-he's-not-good-enough since Mia was a vegetarian.

Upon entering the Great Hall, Ariadne was about to go to the Gryffindor table, when she realized she was a Hufflepuff now, for the following hour. So she turned towards the respective house table and sat down at one of the edges. She had no idea who Jory's best friends from Hufflepuff were, but she hoped to meet some, she'd like a challenge. The girl-turned-boy was starving, so she filled her plate with lots of food, considerably more than she usually ate, because boys ate more, right? She also avoided girly sweet food. One thing she enjoyed was that she could finally eat like a boy, quickly and less elegant. Being a girl could be so strenuous at times...

Simon walked into the great hall and was about to sit down when he saw Kita, he had to appologise for what had happened in the common room, he had promised Treyen that he would, he just hoped that Kita would listen, though he had a feeling she wouldn't since she thought he was a spoilt kid.

Simon walked upto Kita and smiled. "Kita, I'm sorry about what happened in the common room." Simon said, he wished Treyen was here because that way if she slapped him Treyen would know he had tried to appologise and she had just refused to accept it, plus he didn't think it was good for the Hufflepuff Quidditch Team if they were fighting.

*Now Matty was confused. What was with everyone not acting like... well them. Maybe he just needed a good work out before another class.*
"Umm but wait... I thought I was to give her some space? I don't know any more... I'm gonna go for a run."
*Standing back up Matty rubbed the back of his neck and walked out very confused about today. If the work out didn't work then he would owl his aunt Kayla or Uncle Gabben.*

Caroline dug into her turkey sandwitch. Food and it was so good. So mustard-y the mustard dipping everywhere. Yeah, this was si unlady like. She looked up from her turkey sandwitch when she heard Kita's name. She really should have looked right she was Kita at the moment. Really? Caroline The girl had barely ate since the break up. And now someone was going to disturb her from chowing down on her sandwitch?

Who was that? She couldn't remember what the boys name was. Great(!) She could not think of who he was. And what happened in the common room? The hufflepuff common room? What did he do to her best friend? Seriously if he hurt her or her feelings or anything, the hufflepuff boy was getting slapped. Caroline had felt like slapping someone or throwing something for weeks now. "The common room? What happened in the common room, Simom?" That was the boys name was it not?

Simon looked at Kita. "You know I tried to appologise to you for accidently taking you out at Quidditch Practice." Simon smiled, "But you were still upset with me and didn't want to accept the appology." Simon looked at Kita. "Do you accept it now?" Simon hoped she would, after all it was an accident.

Simon was then confused, why was she making sure he was Simon when she knew he was. "Yeah I'm Simon." Simon said. "Why do you ask?" This wasn't like Kita she always knew who everyone was and know she was confusing him, maybe he should take her to the hospital wing.

Carter didn't even realize that the huffielump left until after he had cleaned out an entire bowl of cantaloupe. Seriously. He was still starved.

He eyed the plate of ham. He then looked around the table. It wasn't like everyone in Hufflepuff knew she was a vegetarian, right? He'd be able to sneak a bite when nobody was looking.

Or maybe he could just transfigure it to look like a piece of grass... or whatever the girl was allowed to eat...

Caroline Kita jaw dropped only because of Caroline's reaction to why the boy was apologing for. Kita got knocked out at practice. Really? That boy was really going to get it now. Caroline rasied her eyebrow as he looked at her and asked if she'd accept the apologly. Kita probably would, maybe even Caroline as Kita would accept it for her. But not today. This final had been caused to much choas. "I most certainly will NOT." She punched his arm, kind of hard.

"Next time just watch where you're going!" She crossed Kita's arms across her chest, angrily. Hopefully it was something like that had happened in practice. "I know perfectly who you are." She snapped.Wow if she kept this up she'd really ruin Kita's life at this rate. It wasn't like she was trying to do that. This stuff just happened.

Simon looked at Kita, there was something wrong with her. "Fine, done accept it but don't expect me to talk to you or anything like that." Simon said trying to keep calm. "And don't come and talk to me either." Simon was really annoyed when she punched him hard, that was it there friendship was ruined.

Simon was about to leave when he turned around. "Kita, I don't know what's got into you today." Simon felt like adding maybe she should go to the hospital wing but decided against it, he was trying to behave but it was hard when people hit him. "I'll be off." and with that he left.

Mia wasn't hungry but apparently Carter's body was. His stomach kept making these very weird noises. Boys sure were a hungry lot. She supposed that she shouldn't be surprised by this, Nikolai tended to eat quite a bit. Well pudding that is.

She wandered over to the Hufflepuff table and ran a finger along the top of the wood eyeing off the food and wandering what she could eat that would satisfy this body's hunger.

Out of the corner of her eye she spotted herself at the other end of the table and had to shake off how weird that was, to see herself sitting there while she was actually twenty feet away. Mia grabbed a bread roll, some cheese and an apple and headed towards Carter.

Carter looked around and grabbed a roll and a piece of cheese. He carefully opened the roll and put in the cheese.

He glanced around.

Andddddddddd. The coast was clear.

Using his wand from under the table he levitated a piece of ham out of it's bowl. It hovered barely and inch off the table before heading toward the now empty spot in front of him, then it circled under the table, and then landed safely amid the cheese in his roll.

He quickly slammed the roll shut and look up and down the table again. Hopefully nobody had seen that. Then again, he wasn't sure who knew that Mia didn't eat meat.

Not that it would really affect Mia's body. It was really him that was about to eat the ham. But if someone had noticed... well, they would think it was Mia.

And that wasn't technically his problem. No. His only problem was how famished this body made him feel.

Caroline was surprised that she had punched the boy. Kita would have never done that much less her. She was really ruined Kita's life in one hour. Who knew that so much bad things could n an hour? She bit her lip as She watched Simon clearly get upset over what had just happened. Not that she blamed him. She blinked a few times. After he said he didn't know what had gotten into her today. Before she realized it he was getting up and leaving. "Simon, Hey Simon Wait!" It was no use he was done gone.

She covered her Kita face with her hands. It was a good this that Simon did leave because when she looked down she realized that her skin was starting to turn back to its ligher color. She goobled up the rest of the turkey sandwitch a ran out of the great hall down to the dungeons. Finall she could go back to being herself again.

Mia wasn't quite sure how Carter had not seen himself walking down the table. But SHE had seen him alright. And what he was about to do. The food that she had been holding dropped to the floor as she ran the rest of the way down the table.

Once she was opposite him, Mia actually flung herself across the table so that she was laying on her stomach...well actually Carter's stomach and his hands reached and grabbed the front of her look alike's shirt. "Do NOT even think about putting that in MY mouth."

This probably looked entirely weird but Mia did not care, she had a feeling that she might get slightly violent if Carter ate that ham.

Carter was so surprised that he flung the sandwich he was making up in the air. "Merlin." he whispered under his breath. It wasn't everyday that he tackled himself. And the sight of himself there threatening him nearly blew his mind.

It was a good thing he knew that it was just Mia.

"Merlin." he said again. He looked around for his roll again before spotting it on the floor.

Ruined.

He gently plucked his own hands from his shirt using Mia's hands. Wow... this was weird...

"Just for future reference... I don't normally fling myself across the table..." he whispered. He was almost positive that he had at one point though. Probably because of Marie. That girl made him crazy.

He then sat up normally. "Fancy some lunch. Err... Carter?" he asked. And again. This was weird.

Now that Carter's hands had been removed from Mia's shirt. Mia herself stared at her own face but as Carter. This was starting to hurt her head. It was just too weird. "I think we can both safely say...this is not a normal situation." Although Mia had in actual fact laid across these tables on more than one occasion. She slid back across the table and sat down in the chair opposite...herself.

Soooooo weird.

"Lunch would be nice. Thank you, Mia." She picked up a bread roll and took a bite out of it and just stared at Carter who was disguised as her. She swallowed the piece of roll she had in her mouth and then pointed a finger at Carter. "What have you been doing in the past hour? Besides trying to stuff your face...well my face with ham."

Carter scratched his head. Except, to everyone watching, it looked as if Mia had scratched her head. He watched himself sit across the table. "No... it isn't..." he said. He was tempted to lift his arms to see if his body would do that. But this wasn't some silly mirror he was looking at. It was Mia.

He helped himself to another roll as the Carter across the table did. "Don't worry... I won't put anything in it..." he said sadly.

What was he doing? "Oh. That reminds me. If Marie asks, you think I'm a nutter." That was a good enough explanation, right? "Also, I'm not sure how you can stand that boyfriend of hers... he just left. Finally."

And that had been his day.

"What has been happening with you?" Or, in other words, anything he should be worried about?

Mia raised her eyebrows but didn't say anything. If he expected her to start eating meat just because she was posing as him then he could think again. She was easy going but when it came to this, well then she was entirely not so easy going. "There are plenty of tasty things on this table that didn't need to be killed, you know?" Open your eyes Carter. Mia. Whatever.

The roll was halfway to Carter's mouth when it stopped and Mia stared at herself blinking. "Matty is alright. He's been a good friend to me. And he loves Marie. He's good to her and good for her." She eyed Carter off across the table and gave him a slightly shrewd look. "You're not jealous, are you?"

As for the nutter thing. Well Marie probably already thought that about him anyway without Mia thinking it too. "Why do I think you're a nutter?" If she had to lie then she wanted to know why.

"I ran into Marie...in the girls bathroom." Yes Carter you were in the girls bathroom. "She thought you were checking yourself out in the mirror." Kind of true. "Oh and I also ran into Caroline out in the courtyard. Apparently she takes everything back and all is forgiven and you have to meet her in classroom eleven later." she said before stuffing some more of the bread roll into her mouth.

"I know that. I'm pretty sure I've already eaten three whole pineapples and a whole peach tree." Carter said gesturing to some empty bowls. And yes he was still hungry.

He stared at the roll for a second. "No. Of course not. Why would I be?" If she's happy with that badger than she was not the person he thought she was. And, if anything, his feelings were wondering how he manged not to see it before then.

He casually took a bite out of his roll. "Because I did something stupid." he said as if it happened everyday. Which... it often did... "The details aren't really important. In fact... she probably shouldn't have mentioned it to you anyway." Except... she really hadn't since it was him she told and not actually Mia.

The roll then fell out of his hand... err... her hand. "You were where?!?!" he practically yelled. Great. He was not going to hear the end of that. "And you ran into Marie! And you were what?" Yeah... that made it even worse. He shook his head wondering how on Earth he'd be able to rectify that situation.

Then his mouth dropped. (It was a good thing he'd already swallowed the bit of roll he was chewing.) "You... you... you... did... what?" he stuttered. "You do realize that she dumped me a week ago?" he asked. "You just forgave my ex-girlfriend for breaking up with me."

30 minutes as a boy and Mia already got herself a girlfriend.

He ate three whole pineapples? Lovely. Now she was going to spend the rest of he day running to the toilet. But of course he hadn't known that eating so much pineapple would make her go to the toilet so she let that go.

"Maybe because you still care about her." Mia shrugged Carter's shoulders and eyed off some soup that was to her right. "Why else would you not like Matty?" She had never known her fellow badger to do anything that would upset anyone. Bit like herself really.

Mia raised her eyebrows at him. It seemed boys often did something stupid but she decided not to say that out loud. "The details aren't important. If you say so Carter." Oh she was so going to find out off Marie. Somehow. Since she was already supposed to know.

Really now. Was there any need for him to yell? "Oh don't go getting my knickers in a knot Carter. I made a mistake. But let's be honest, it was probably better that I went into the girls bathroom disguised as you then going into the boys bathroom." Now that would have been embarrassing. Because Mia was certain she did NOT know how to go to the toilet as a boy. "Well actually I was pulling out some nasal hair. You boys sure do have a lot of hair. Did you know that?" She took one look at his face and decided she best shut up. "Although I told Marie I was checking for zits." she added hastily. You never know it might come up later.

Now he was stuttering. Mia took another bite of her roll and stared at Carter calmly. "No I didn't realise that. But apparently she DIDN'T want to break up with you. That's why she took it all back. And that's why I forgave her. So it's all good, right?" Unless he didn't want to get back with her then there was a slight problem.

Ooops.

"She tried to kiss me."

"Nothing more than as a friend." Carter replied. "And the reason I don't like that guy is because he sticks his nose where it doesn't belong. First time I even saw the guy Marie and I were having a conversation about how she enjoyed tormenting Caroline when he stormed up and started yelling at me, like it was my fault that Marie has issues with me dating someone." So really, nothing was his fault. It was all the badger's fault.

"You were pulling out nasal hair?" he asked blinking several times. "In the girl's bathroom? In front of Marie? I don't see how you're making this any better for me." Here she was talking like it wasn't a big deal to be in the girl's bathroom! "Yes, I know I've got hair." he said a little frustrated. All guys have a lot of hair. Someone with a boyfriend should know that. "Checking for zits?" he repeated. "Who does that?"

Now he even was acting like a girl... which... given he was found in the girl's bathroom... and was currently being impersonated by one...

And Carter thought it couldn't get worse.

"Well if she didn't want to, she shouldn't have." he said simply. "But she did." Did girl's brains not work? It was simple really. She broke up with him and so they broke up. "That's not really something you can take back."

He sat up straight, crossed his arms, and narrowed his eyes. He hoped that still looked intimidating as Mia... "Of course she tried to kiss you. You're practically dating now. You're going to have to fix this." he said with a nod.

"You'll have to tell her you'd been confounded... or snog someone in front of her... or something..."

Because he was not about to deal with seeing Caroline right now. It was still too soon. Even though they had had a few quick conversations since then he wasn't ready to see her in a relationship 'she tried to kiss me' sort of way.
