"Well I'm adopted but my adopted family, the Gardner's, are a very old wizarding family as well. Mostly in Sweden, been said that they are related to Gryfinndor and Hufflepuff but what old wizard family isn't?" *Matty made a sarcastic laugh. It got annoying how every other student was the great great what ever to Ravenclaw or most popularly Slytherin. Matty wished people would think like his uncle. You have magic, your here now, who cares who some old fart did or was?*

"Muggles huh? What like showing them how to get rabbits out of a hat and all?"

Very true. It appeared that a lot of students proclaimed they were descendents of one of the four witches or wizards who founded Hogwarts. Damien grabbed his tea and began to sip before spluttering a laugh into his cup regarding Matty's comment about rabit tricks to Muggles.

"Wouldn't that be great," he said, wiping the spilled tea on the table. "To be honest, I'm not sure what was involved with my ancestors teaching wizardry to Muggles," he shrugged. "Could be something as simple as educating them to not throw some sort of tissy when they meet a witch or wizard. Could be something a bit more complicated."

Truthfully, he had no clue. But the hopes of finding answers still lingered.

"Adopted? How'd that come to be?"

"My uncle found me as a kid in a bad spot and took me in. That's the short story anyway. The long one would... well take a long time to tell and I'm not a story telling kind of person."
*He nodded when he said he didn't know much about his ancestors. Matty knew a lot about his, but they weren't really his. A part of him always longed to know about his real family. But a large wall of fear always blocked the way.*
"Have you tried looking in the history of magic section in the library? That might have a few things on the Murray family."

CAN'T I JUST PINCH HER CHEEKS PLEASE?! Was all Sammy could think. That was the problem with Sammy, tell her something or someone was younger than her and she suddenly acted like they were 3 years old. Which tended to be a problem being a fourth year and having three years worth of people younger than her surrounding her every day. "have you visited the kitchens?" she asked, because that was OBVIOUSLY the greatest part of the whole castle. The house elves WANTED to give you food. IT WAS UH-MAZ-ING

Sammy looked as though there was something she really wanted to do, but she was resisting, Ness wondered what it was though.The Kitchens? Nope Ness hadnt been there yet, she always used to walk past the potrait, which apparently led the kitchens, but she had never been inside bfore."Nope I just haven't really had time!" said Ness shly. She would have asked if Sammy had been inside, but Ness thought that the answer to that was pretty obvious.

SHE HADN'T BEEN THE KITCHEN?! New Mission: Take Ness to the Kitchens. It will change her life. Seriously. Sammy's eyes had grown wide and it took everything in her for her mouth to not drop to the floor. She stood up, and said "Come on then. You're missing out" she said before walking off not really minded whether or not Ness followed, she had been meaning to ask the House Elves to double the amount of Spaghetti for the end of term feast.

Ness giggled when Sammy wanted to go to the kitchen. "Right now?" She asked. Well it was worth a visit thought Ness. It was probably very interesting and Ness wouldn't mind becomin friendly with the house elves as she wouldn't mind a snack once in a while. She got up from her seat then followed Sammy."Okay let's go!" She said letting Sammy take the lead.

*With one arm around her Matty walked/dragged Marie into the great hall. Finding an empty spot he sat down with her and started to load up a plate for her.*
"I don't buy it, the great hall just opened up so you could not have already eaten. Now eat up and tell me what is wrong."

Marie reluctantly went to the great hall with Matty dragging her there. She told him she already ate breakfast which was a total lie, so why did he have to insist on her eating now?

Sitting there next to him she had a frown on her face. He was nuts if he thought she was going to eat all that food. "Just because the great hall just opened doesn't mean I haven't eaten already." She could have food stashed in her dorm room. Oh wait, that would be Destiny. Crossing her arms in front of her she just stared at that massive mound of food in front of her. "Why does something have to be wrong? I'm just not hungry."

"Something doesn't have to be wrong but I love you, meaning I know you. So you either tell me what it is or I will feed you myself." *Cutting up some scrambled eggs with loads of cheese on it he got a nice bite on a fork and held it out in front of her.*
"Because I love you so much I'll even make the muggle airplane sounds as it comes in for a landing."

"I love you too but you will not be feeding me." She was not a baby, she didn't need him making any noises for her to eat. Picking up a fork she stabbed a small piece of watermelon and put it in her mouth. "There, are you happy?" There was no way she was eating those eggs covered with cheese. Did he know how much FAT was on that fork. No thank you, she didn't need any more of that in her body.

"I will be happy when I see you eat a full meal starting with something filling. Please Marie..."
*He held the fork up to her again with sadness all over his face. Now he was really starting to get worried. What really bothered him though was that she felt she could not tell him what was really going on. But like always he wouldn't push her until he had to.*

Really? He wanted her to eat a full meal? But she never eats a full meal. Why would she start now... especially when she wanted to lose weight. Looking at the fork he was holding up to her she made a face. "I'm not eating those eggs. Not with all that cheese on them." There were like a million calories in that one bite there.

Looking up at him it wasn't hard for her to see the sadness in his face. A sadness she didn't like seeing. She didn't want him to be sad, she just didn't want to get any fatter than she already was.

Taking the fork from him she put it down on the plate in front of her. She then pushed that plate away and grabbed a clean one. If her eating something would make him happy again then she would eat a little bit, but NOT a full meal.

Looking around to see what was on the table she spotted some boiled eggs and dry toast. That's what she was going to have. Putting one egg and one puece of toast on her plate she looked over at him. "Will this do?" Well that and a small glass of orange juice.

*Matty sighed looking down and shaking his head. So she thought she was fat, it wasn't hard to figure out. And for the life of him couldn't figure out why. She weighed next to nothing, he should know he picked her up all the time. Looking up at her he asked.*

"Why do you think your fat Marie? Where would you get an idea like that?"
*For as long as Matty had known her Marie had never been one to count calories or stuff like that. It was one of the things he loved about her. Sure she didn't pig out like him but she still ate.*

Marie sat there sort of just playing with the egg on her plate. She really didn't want to eat it. She would rather just drink some juice and go for a run or something.

"Who said I thought I was fat?" She asked as she dropped her fork. Did he think she was fat too, is that why he was asking her that question? Now that she thought about it, he hadn't lifted her or carried her since Evan told her she wasn't skinny anymore. "You think I'm fat too?" she asked in almost a whisper. And now he was trying to stuff food in her face and make her even fatter. Gee, if he didn't want to carry her around anymore all he had to do was tell her. He didn't have to make her gain weight so he couldn't carry her.

"Well I am guessing someone said it and they are out of their bloody mind!" *Hearing her whisper Matty frowned and held back a growl.*
"Who did it? Who told the most beautiful, attractive girl in the whole world she was fat? Because Marie it's not true. Would you like me to carry you all over the castle? I will and can because you weigh next to nothing."
*Putting a hand on her cheek he made sure she was looking at him.*
"I can't stand those skinny girls that run around only eating a grape and then running four hours. I love you so very much... your perfect."

Marie just looked down at the table as she was listening to Matty talk. "It's not important who it was." It wasn't important who told her she was fat. She wasn't going to tell Matty that it was her supposed best friend, who also happens to be a prefect. She didn't need him going off breaking the nose of another prefect because of her. "You don't have to carry me around the castle. I can walk." Walking was a good form of exercise, especially with all those stairs she had to climb every day.

Looking into his eyes she put a hand over his. It warmed her heart to know he thought she was perfect, even though some people didn't. It was what he thought that she cared about. "Thanks baby. You have no idea how much it means knowing you think I'm perfect." Wrapping her arms around his waist she gave him a hug and rested her head on his shoulder. "I love you too."

*Wrapping his arms around her Matty kissed the top of her head. He still wanted to know who told his beautiful Marie these horrid things, maybe Mia would know.*
"Back home the daughters they tried to get me to court were all the same. They would take one bite of an apple and starve themselves the rest of the week. I find that very unattractive and unhealthy. Please remember these three things. I love you, you are not fat, and even if you were you would still make my heart stop every time I saw you. So please... eat some bacon and eggs for me?"

Sitting up Marie sighed a little as she looked at all the food on the table. Truth was, she really was hungry, she was just afraid of getting fat. Up until Evan told her she wasn't skinny she had never even thought about it before. She never thought about what she ate. Sure she never ate much to begin with but she never thought about not eating so she wouldn't gain weight. Knowing that Matty didn't think she was fat and that he would love her even if she was made her feel a lot better though.

Leaning over she gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Thanks... for loving me no matter what I look like." Grabbing a spoon she put some scrambled eggs, minus the cheese on her plate along with a few pieces of bacon. She then put some strawberry jam on her toast. That would be so much better than eating it dry. Once she poured a large glass of orange juice she started to eat.

"That's not the only reason I love you. What bothers me is why you let what someone said get to you. That's never bothered you before. But we can talk about that later, lets eat."
*Matty smiled and pulled the plate over that he had made for her and started to dig in. After finishing his plate and two glasses of juice and a coffee he sighed feeling full and happy.*
"You know... even though I sleep past it all the time breakfast is my favorite meal. What would you say yours is?"

Marie just kept eating as Matty talked. She had a feeling he wasn't going to let this go until he found out who it was that said she was fat.

Later, he wanted to talk about it later? But WHY? She was eating now. That's what he wanted her to do so why bring it up again later? Pfft, she would just avoid that whole conversation if she could. She would just distract him if he brought it up again. She was good at that.

After finishing her food she pushed her plate away then drank her juice. She was stuffed. That was the most she had eaten in a week. "My favorite meal is any meal I get to eat with you." Which pretty much left breakfast out since he usually slept right until it was time to go to class.

*Matty smiled and kissed her forehead. It made him very happy to see her eating and not worrying about it.*
"Nice, but that was not what I meant."
*Standing up he held a hand out to her. He needed to stretch his legs before a long day of classes. This was the day where he had no classes with Marie. He might get to see her at lunch but most likely they wouldn't see each other until last class. Thank Merlin for WMB's though.*
"Want to go for a short walk before class starts?"

Marie smirked at Matty when he said that wasn't what he meant. "Well, it's the truth." Anything she did with him was her favorite, including classes. Her favorite was the ones they were in together.

Taking his hand she stood up. "Yeah, a walk sounds good." Maybe they would get lost and she wouldn't have to go to class. History of Magic was not one of her favorites... since Matty wasn't in it with her. Lacing their fingers together she walked out of the great hall with him.

Now, where to go.

Violet (Penny) walked into the Great Hall for the first time since taking the polyjuice potion.....

Hungry now, but still unsure if her stomach would take food - went up the Hufflepuff table and sat down on the bench half way up..

Reaching out and pouring a coffee into her cup and grabbing a danish, nibbled on it slowly.... waiting for each mouthful to reach the stomach before taking another bite..

So far, apart from looking different, life was just about the same as if she hadn't taking any Polyjuice Potion..

Well Selina, did notice her best friend wasn't right, but thankfully she hadn't pressed the matter.

Aurora (Kimalia) was pretty hungry, so whilst walking in the Great Hall she took the first seat that was closest to her. Hmm, not sure if Aurora would sit at this table, seeing as how majority of her house hated this house, but Penny was in Hufflepuff and acquainted with her already, so hopefully she would recognize her-Aurora- well, either way Penny would most likely sit by her.

Taking a piece of roll, she scooped some jam into it to eat, for some reason it wasn't as satisfying as she could remember. Hmm, maybe Aurora doesn't eat jam on toast often? She wished she remembered to bring her book with her, it was very comforting to write while eating.
