Oh he was just a laugh minute wasn't he? Mia gave him a playful swat on the arm. "It's not about your cooking skills, silly. It's about bonding with her. It's easy to sit down and eat a meal and talk and whatnot. But this way you're doing something together, you know creating something special. Start off with something easy." Mia picked up an apple and took a bite out of it. "Doesn't matter if it's the first date or the tenth. Every date should be memorable. Correction. Every moment should be memorable." she said giving him a look and taking another bite out of her apple. "Just remember that." |
"Ow! What is it with girls and always hitting me?" *Well that wasn't true, just Marie and Mia not all the girls.* "Hmm... that was a very wise statement you just made Ms. Gibbins." *She was right though. He wanted to make every minute with Marie special.* |
Mia finished off her apple and placed the core into her porridge bowl. "Eh, I don't know about wise. I am just going off my experiences with Nik." She shrugged her shoulders while she scanned the table for something else to eat, she was going to need the energy for when she had to climb all those stairs to the owlery. "And seeing how I couldn't be happier, I figure we must be doing something right." |
*Matty smiled, as much as he had hated Nik at first he knew that the guy was good for Mia. He wanted to talk to her about her problem with her father but by the sound of it she had talked about it enough. The last thing he wanted to do was push her, when she was ready she would tell him about it.* "So, when do you get to see Nik again?" |
Heaving a deep sigh, Mia grabbed a piece of toast and began to smother it with raspberry jam. "Not until Christmas. Two months away." Two loooong months. She thought it would get easier, as they got used to it but in actual fact the opposite was happening. It was getting harder for her to be away from him. "Almost didn't come back." she added in an offhand way before taking a bite out of her toast. But her very responsible boyfriend told her that she had to. |
"Bet Nik made you come back huh?" *Even though he hadn't seen him act that way openly Matty had a feeling that Nik would always want Mia to do the right thing. Another reason why the bloke was starting to grow on him.* "So what's Nik do? Now that he's not in school anymore?" |
"Yeah. I do believe he threatened to personally drag me all the way to the front doors." She chuckled at the mere thought of it. Although at the time she was absolutely mortified by the idea. Mia stuck her finger in her mouth and licked the jam off. "He's got an internship at a wandmaker in Russia. When I finish school, we're going to travel the world and then we're going to open a wand shop together." |
"Well on your travels you can always stay at my place, Nik might enjoy the research they are doing with Swedish short snout heart strings." *He said with a raised eyebrow look but smiled. In a way he could see Mia doing something like that. Her kind gentle spirit in helping young wizards getting their first wands.* "I'll be sure to send my new little cousins to your shop. Where would you two like it to be? I've never been but from what I hear Russia doesn't have a very large magical population like the U.K., the States, or Sweden." |

Tsk. That was no way of reassuring one's outcome. "At least you're trying, and that counts for something," the more people on the pitch, the merrier...and more accidents to occur. That was cool with him, that way Miss Moretti will have a bunch of people at the Hospital Wing. "We don't know for sure, do we? But I'll be happy with whatever happens." Like, literally happy, Treyen didn't mind spending too much time in the Stands. |

"Thanks Matty, that's really nice of you." It was probably about time that she introduced Nik to her friends. She couldn't keep him to herself forever. Although she would like to. Finally deciding that she'd had enough to eat, Mia wiped her mouth with a napkin and then grinned at her friend. "It's probably not going to be in Russia. While we are traveling we're going to find the perfect place for us to live and work. See I don't like the cold and Australia is a little too hot for Nik, so we need to find the perfect balance, you know?" |

"Yeah I guess I'll be happy too! said Ness. "Everything happens for a good reason, though the reason may not always be as clear as we'd like it to be" It was one of Nessie's favourite sayings. It deffinatley helped her get through things. |

*Or that she even had the choice. True his family always said it was up to him but it was just lately that he was starting to feel the pressure of what he was.* |

She shrugged her shoulders again. "I didn't really plan on what I wanted to do. Everything just seemed to fall into place." And if she wasn't fighting with her dad right now, her life would pretty much be perfect. "You still going into the army when you finish school?" |
*He nodded but for once he didn't look to happy about joining S.A.M. Not after his attack this past summer. Matty still had nightmares about it.* "That is the plan... join the Swedish Army of Magic and protect the witches and wizards of the world..." |

He doubted that caused the same effect. Now they were talking. Treyen smiled widely and nodded her way, "I believe so, as well, things happen for a reason," whether for good or bad, but still a reason, "As long as you have fun, then I see no problem in it all," and he was almost done with breakfast by now. "Look, Nessie, I...have to get going," he started to say as he got up, "But if you need anything, at all, then please let me know, or Arya, the girl Prefect," he smiled again, "See you around, okay?" and he hated to leave so soon, but he had something to do before classes. Either way, he waved goodbye and walked away, exiting the Great Hall in no time. |

"You don't seem to excited about it." She didn't even need to be his good friend to see the lack of enthusiasm on his face. Mia gave him steady look. "I know you said before that this is something that you want to do but do you have a back up just in case you change your mind down the track?" |

ooc. be warned if you involve yourself at the Willow. Oakey's gotten himself into a bigger mess than syrup on his homework. |
Izzie walked into the Great Hall and looked around. She was sure she would never get used to the enchanted ceiling. It was so beautiful. Smiling and shaking her head, she sat down at her house table. "Hmm, I wonder where Janice went?" She looked around, "Wow, there is so much food. I swear I'll never get used to this." She looked around the table. She knew of most of the people here, but even though they were in her house, she was still afraid of them. People were still scary and she wasn't sure she'd ever really get over it. "Oh well, at least I'm getting better," she mumbled to herself as she started making some scrambled eggs on toast. There was nothing better on a chilly afternoon. She began to eat as she waited for Janice to show up... |
