Rebecca walked out of the girl's dorms with her journal and a quill and into the common room so that she could write a letter. The fire was cracking and making her miss her home. At her house, every evening her father would light a fire in the fireplace. Rebecca, her brother Jason, and her sister Ashley would always sit around it telling ghost stories or other types of stories. "Mom and Jason will be happy to hear from me," she thought. She then went to the desk near the wall and began writing three letters, one to Jason, one to Ashley, and one to her parents.

When Rebecca finished writing her letters, she folded them, put them in envelopes and wrote her house address on each of them. She then decided that she would mail the letters the next day. So she went back to the girl's dorms for the night.

Harper entered the common room with a huff and took a seat in a cushy looking armchair. Even though it was comfy indeed, it did not stop her from squirming around in her seat. She looked about eagerly, hoping to see an owl, or a random letter drop out of thin air. Pleeeeassse, she pleaded in her head, biting her lip. Write back alreadddddyyy!!

Her mother had never taken so long to reply. Harper never had waited this long before...or - maybe she had. But not that she could remember. Or maybe she had just lost her patience within the last year.

She reached into her school bag and pulled out a blouse that needed a button sewn back on. She started to work on it, looking up now and again to see if there was any sign of reply in any style or form. No such luck. She sighed heavily and continued her work.

Amy bopped her way. A lot of bopping today, into the common room. Thankfully, she had survived potions and had all of her hair intact. Which was good. She smiled away to herself like a cool bean before flopping down into a arm chair, summoning a book to her

"How did you know I was a first year?Well, it's nice to meet you Annabelle." Tara said with a normal voice.Tara was as excited as can be, but she tryed not to show it.Tara was looking at the girl in front of her as she spoke,"Is anyone sitting there?" Tara said looking at the seat next to Belle.

Tara loved to meet new people.Tara was kind of shy, but Tara was mostly smiling."Are you happy to be back?" Tara asked in a nice and clear voice.

Violet eagerly made her way out of the girls' dormitories with two bags full of marshmallows, two bags full of Chocolate, and graham crackers and s'more sticks, YES VIOLET wanted to throw a little S'MORES PARTY, for ANYONE who wanted to join her. In her pink uggs she made her way over to the fireplace. Violet set everything down gently and then sat herself down in one of the very comfy plush chairs and settled herself. Violet then took out a stick and stuck a marshmallow on it and placed it front of the fire. She then began to twirl her hair a little bit.

Violet hummed a little bit softly as she patiently waited for her marshmallow. She turned her head to see Harper and then she gasped saying,"Hello Harper! Would you like to join me for a s'more?" Violet smiled brightly as she waited for her reply.

"uh-huh" Emmaleigh said looking up at the boy. "You're a horribile liar, did you know that?" As she said this, as small smile crept across her face.Somethings never changed, and It was good to be back, even is she was injured. She nodded at his next comment. If things were as off as thought, she didn't want the firsties to hear them talking. There was no need to worry them. "Want to meet in our usual spot tomorrow?"she asked in a low voice. At the mention of her Best friend, Em shook her head. "I havent seen her yet, but i've been just a little busy tonight. But that does sound like her dosent it? I mean, she tried to sneak in here before the feast last year."
As Michael pulled out the camera and began talking about his family, The young puff couldn't help but think of her own family. She did miss them now, expecually with the unfortunate acident she had today. Reaching up, she took the photos, and looked through them. Seeing the picture of the bird, Em nodded. "She does look a lot like her dosen't she."

"Hey Amy. How are you?" said Nessi walking in the common room spotting Amy. She had been so busy since she got here that she hadn't even said hello properly to Amy yet.

Amy had been flicking through her book like a magazine, when she'd heard her name. Ooooh, NESSIE! Heeeyyy Nessie Amy grinned at her. Awww, Nessie all in her robes and shiz. Amy had changed after lessons and was sloping about in her jeans and top with her decks

"Oh no please take a seat." Belle insisted and motioned her to sit down. "Yeah i am really excited to be back, i love being by the fire and reading books and just being comfy and safe here." she smiled. "So how excited are you to be here?" Belle asked with curiousity. She put her book to the side to await her answer.

Harper looked up from her angry sewing to spot Violet right in front of her by the fireplace.

"Oh. Hello," she managed a small smile, and found within herself that she genuinely meant it. Friends were cool. She eyed the marshmallows after Violet's invitation. "OOOOH I LOVE THOSE LITTLE PUFFY THINGS!!!!!!!!" she gasped, her eyes wideneing. "I mean...Yeeeeeeah sure, why not?" she shrugged, still eyeing the marshmallows. After all, they were marshmallows.



MARSHMALLOWS.

John walked into the common room. He scanned it for anyone he knew. There was one. "Hey, I met you in Diagon Alley, didn't I?" John asked the kid walking over to him. "Micheal, right, brah?"

Maybelle laughed at Mikey. "I guess it's the redhead telepathy...we have skills." She said looking like one of those cheesy strong super hero poses. "This will definitely be a great year." She said smiling at the fire, and all the 'Puffs roasting marshmallows..yummm. "You wanna make a smore?" Maybelle asked Mikey.

Jainie wandered into the Common Room. "S'mores?" she said, reaching the fireplace. "Don't mind if I do."
Reaching for a marshmallow, Jainie smiled at the girl. "Hi, I'm Jainie," she said.

Violet smiled and then waved when Harper responded to her. She jumped a little when Harper suddenly gasped and screamed about hhow she loved marshmallows almost as much as SHE did. Violet then giggled and clapped eagerly when Harper said she would join her and sat with her. She then noticed that her marshmallow was ready, and she quickly got out her chocolate and graham crackers and placed her now melted marshmallow on the the crackers and then squished them together. Violet squealed a little and said eagerly,"Yayy!" Then she took a bite into it and a light,"Mmmmm!" Escaped her lips.

After what happened in the Great Hall the other day Ronnie really needed to talk to Simon. She was angry and missed him at the same time. How can one person feel like this? Ugh...she sighed and hoped the Simon would meet her in the common room. She had asked him to at the very least.

She took a chair and sat and waited to see if Simon would come.

Simon had gotten Ronnie's message, he had no idea what he had done but it seemed she was mad with him and he was worried about it, he hoped she would tell him what was wrong, because Simon didn't like it when Ronnie was mad.

Simon walked into the common room and then saw her, he smiled as he walked over to her. "Hey Ronnie, what's up?" Simon sat down in the seat next too her to see what she was going to say, hopefully it wouldn't be anything too bad.

Ronnie sighed when Simon sat down. She didn't know where to begin now that he was here. She had so much she wanted to say to him, but when he finally got here she didn't know if she still wanted to say those things.

"Simon...we need to talk about some things." She sighed not loosing her courage. These things needed to be said. "What is going on? You keep disappearing, jumping up from talbes with out even say GOOD-BYE!" Ronnie stood up she was so angry. She love Simon, but she didn't know if she could handle being run out on all the time.

Simon looked at Ronnie well the truth had to come out at sometime, he had just hoped it wouldn't be soo soon. "There's trouble in Holian, my cousin Antonia has been missing for a while and no one knows where she is." Simon sighed, he hadn't seen her for three years and he was scared about her but that wasn't the only thing. "I had to go and send an owl that day, I was in a rush you know with all the lessons an all that." Simon sighed as he took out a neckless he had bought for her. "I was trying to keep it a suprise from you, I wanted to give you it the first time we could go to Hogsmeade together but I think now would be a good time."

Ronnie looked at Simon. She had been mad and rude over this. "Oh Simon!! I'm so sorry!" She cried getting up and hugging him at once. She looked at him tearing him up. "Why didn't you tell me sooner, I wouldn't have gotten angry with you then!" She explained again trying to think of a way to help, but not really finding away.

She looke down at the necklace. "Oh Simon, it's beautiful." She cried! Looking at the necklace he had gottne her. "Help me put it on." She said turning around and pulling her hair way from her neck for him to clasp the necklace on.

Harper dove off the armchair to sit down next to Violet (a little too eagerly), her eyes still wide with excitement. marshmallowsmarshmallowsmarshmallowsmarshmallowsss ss

Harper took her wand out and took a marshmallow as well, and started levitating it above the flames of the fire. She couldn't remember the last time she had had a s'more. She found herself giggling as she thought about all the sugar and chocolate and puffy white marshmallows and and and andddd ---

She stopped her giggling abruptly when she noticed another girl come over. "Oh hello there," she smiled, as Violet mentioned her name to the girl, Jainie. "Yup, I'm Harper." she nodded, trying to sit up a bit straighter on the floor.

She let one more giggle escape her mouth as her attention was brought back to the levitating marshmallow for a split second. "Nice to meet you, Lainie!" she managed to say, turning to the two girls again.

*gigglesnort*

Her agrivation from earlier had magically disappeared. Marshmallows had that effect on people, you know!

Simon looked at Ronnie. "It's okay, I just hope we can find where she is." Simon sighed, "We've been doing everything but it's not easy." Simon sighed. "I didn't want to think about it too much, so I decided that I wouldn't tell anyone." Simon said, he had told a Professor last term but other than that no one knew. "I also knew you had a lot on your plate so I decided against it." Simon was being honest here.

Simon smiled. "I was sure you would like it." Simon put the neckless on her. "Lets see what it looks like then?" Simon had a feeling he knew what it would look like, she would look great in it. "So have you forgiven me then?" Simon hoped so. "If so why don't we go for a walk together somewhere."

"Smore what ,punches in the arm " Grinning at her Mikey puts out his hand for the gooey treat

"It's nice to meet you, too," said Jainie. She half-waved at Harper, then grinned as she watched the girl enjoying her marshmallows. Jainie lifted her own marshmallow to the fire and rotated it continuously so it would be evenly cooked. Her mouth started to water as the color slowly browned.

Maybelle rolled her eyes at Mikey. Taking a yummy, puffy, gooey s'more and bit into the chocolatey, gooey goodness. "Yummmm." Maybelle said. Chocolate was good, and marshmallows.
