Bella open it. The letter said:

"Hello Bella
I see you met my cousin Siobian. It me Vanessa. You know that kid Max? That was me with the Polyjuice Potion. I see that kid set next to you on the train he is in Slytherin so I ask him can I have one of his hair and use the Polyjuice Potion and pretend be in Hufflepuff and went in the common room to spy on my cousin until I saw you talking with her. I know all about your cousin Sam and I heard you are going to try to get rid of Siobian curse. Not for long I am friend with his brother and send him a owl to put a curse on your cousin Sam. How you like me now. Tell Siobian I will deal with her later.

Bella was shock and look at Siobian."I been thick. Wow sorry I have to said this your cousin is very evil I am so sorry".

"Ugh, the no good little bi-" Siobian covered her mouth before she could finish the statement, "Picking on me is enough but one of my friends? She's gone way to far!"

Bella knows what Siobian about to said but now she is worry about her cousin and dont have a date anymore."Now what are we going to do? Hang on dose she have any weakness in magic?"

"I'm not sure... We'd have to ask Hayley." Siobian was happy she remembered there was at least one friendly person in her family, "She's not here anymore but I could write her and see." She giggled again and rolled her eyes.

'Dear Hayley,
I need your help, this curse that Vanessa put on me, we almost have an antidote. But your sister wants to curse him as well before he can. We need to know what Vanessa's weakest part of magic. Please write back as soon as possible!

She handed it to her owl and sent it off, "Please hurry," As if it understood her it nodded and then took off, "and be careful!" She yelled after her, "Vanessa could try to hurt you!"

Bella watch as the owl took off and look at Siobian "Then we should wait until Hayley write back because we dont want to do anything else cause Vanessa might find out what we are up to. If we do nothing she will never found out what we just did."

"Right," Siobian nodded still giggly, "Nothing..." She leaned back and looked over and saw someone from her potions class working on an assinment, "Hey Anna!" She looked up at Siobian and smiled, "Did we have work asigned?" She shook her head. "Crap, oh well, I'll just turn it in late." She shrugged. She leaned back on the couch, "I'm lucky just to have this," Siobian sighed looking over at Anna, "Her partner did a spell wrong and she's gone mute. Can't say a word poor girl."

Bella look at Anna and feel bad that she been mute by her partner."People should be really careful with spell." Bella look over and saw a girl sitting at the table and sleeping on her book. "She must be tired from studing." Bella check make sure she dont have any assignment but she cant find her notes. Bella remember the girl who sleeping at the table she was in her History Magic class. She walk over see what the girl working on and came back to the couch." I already did that assignment it was due yesterday. Wonder why she still working on it."

Nessie took a seat at a comfy couch in the common room, she took out her book then started to read, trying to think of nothing, as, as soon as she would think, the only thing she would think about was how much she missed Zara and how she felt as though everything was her fault. She had already lost her one best friend, she didn't feel like loosing another. A tear slowly slid down her cheek, but she wiped it quickly away before anybody saw.

Rebecca entered the common room with pink and red paper, markers, pens, stickers, and a pair of scissors. It was February and she was going to make Valentine's Day cards for her friends and Oakey. Okay, so she counted Oakey as a friend, but, in this case, he wasn't her friend. He was her very special Valentine. She was looking around for the perfect spot to sit and make her cards when she spotted Nessie sitting all alone on a couch with a book. So, being the friendly person Hogwarts has made her, Rebecca walked over to her, sat next to her and said her hello. "Hey there Nessie," she said. "Long time no see. So how have you been?" Rebecca really had missed seeing Nessie, since they hadn't had class together at all this year.

Nessie looked up to see Rebecca, it was Rebbeca right, thought Ness she couldn't really remember as she had met too many people."Hey!" she said smiling trying to hide what she was really feeling like. "Yeah same old usual! How about you?" It was better then lying completely she thought. She then looked at the things in Rebecca's hand and wondered why she needed that kind of stuf. "So um.. whats that all for?" asked Ness shyly but curiously. Nessies mind was slowly started to drift away from her bad thoughts from earlier, and this made Ness feel a little better!

"Probably a slacker like me," Siobian smiled, "I mean, I'm not stupid or anything, I understand everything I just don't do my school work, I need to focus on my talents."

"Well I like to get my work done right alway. what are your talents?" Somebody walk by and give the note to Bella and then the person walk away. Bella look at the note and it said

*Hey Bella open the window NOW!*

Bella was confusses and thinking the note must been from Siobian cousin. She look at the window and ask the other Hufflepuff student to open the window. "Hey you can you open that window." So the Hufflepuff kid open the window and something hit the kid face and ran out the common room. Bella feit guilty for that kid. She turn watch the fire like nothing had happen. And she was thinking how did that happen and what was that think hit that kid face.

Damien heaved a rather heavy sigh as he trudged into the Hufflepuff Common Room, the book he found from the library tucked under his arm. He needed a good place to actually look at the thing and take down any notes that applied to him. Luckily most of the students around were already engaged with their various conversations.

He walked casually over to a far corner with a set up of table and chairs. After setting the book down on the table, Damien withdrew his wand and summoned some parchment and a couple of decent quills.

Not bothering to remove his leather jacket, he sat down with everything he needed, slowly opened up the book to the first chapter, and began reading.

Nessie was exhausted and was heading of to the dorm. She had just finished her homework for the night and felt like she would pass out any moment. She could bearly get out of her chair she was so tired. She had been sitting in the corner and just as she got out of her chair, she tripped herself. Really embarressed she got up cheeks bright red. She hopped nobody saw but she doubted it, there was a sixth year sitting right infront of her and he must have seen. She then bent down and started picking her stuff up.

Since he opened this book, Damien felt like he was in over his head. Some of these words he couldn't even pronounce and for being a sixth year student at a magical school ... well it was kind of sad, really.

While he did manage to jot down a few notes that could be helpful in the future, he needed a break. Closing the book, with a not so soft thud, he rubbed his eyes, sighing heavily.

THUD

Jerking his head up toward the sound, his eyes fell upon a gril who must have tripped over her feet. There was no rug or bumps on the floor where she'd fallen, but her stuff had still been thrown all over the place.

He scooted out of his chair and got down on his knees beside her. "Steady on, there," he said, Irish accent slightly audible, helping her pick up her stuff. "Any bumps or scrapes? You took a pretty good fall there."

When she heard the chair beside her move, her cheeks got even brighter. 'This is so embarressing' she said quietly, although she didn't mean to say it at all.Great! Now she just embarressed herself even more. She then heard the boy talk, although to be honest she was excpecting more of a laugh. "Yeah Im fine thanks!" said Ness her cheeks still bright red. "I fall all the time." Why did I just say that thought Ness now she was really embarressing herself. "Well only lately!' said ness trying to cover her stuff up, but she had just made it worse.

She was so embarressed now, she wished she could just run and hide. She only now realised that the boy seemed to be speaking a little of an Irish accent. "he must Irish" she whispered whithout realisning she did.Wait I didn't just say that allowed she thought."Sorry! Im really tired and Im not thinking properly!" Her cheeks were getting more and more bright by the second, as she just seemed to embarres herself more and more.

Damien continued helping her gather up her scattered stuff, and couldn't help but chuckle softly. She seemed so frazzled; he felt bad thinking hat he was the one causing her to stumble over words and everything else.

"It's alright really," seemed to be his response after every mubled apology. "Sometimes you just have clumsy moments. I had them all the time."

And sometimes still do.

He continued to pile her belongings until everything seemed to be picked up and in order. He was still on his knees, since she hadn't stood to her feet yet. "You sure you're alright?" he asked again.

"I guess!" said Ness her cheeks starting to be normal again. She got to her feet realising that they wer'e both just sitting there on their knees and they must have looked like freaks. "Yeah I'm fine not a scratch!" said Ness giving the boy a thumbs up!


She was surprised she had never seen him before, She thought she knew most of the Hufflepuffs, or she could at least recognise them, but maybe she was wrong. Now that she thought, she hadn't actually introduced herself yet. "Well...um... I'm Renesmee, Renesmee Talya Dixon, but everyone calls me Ness or Nessie for short!" She then smiled at the boy waiting for him to introduce himself.

Damien grinned at being given a thumbs up to indicate she was alright and not hurt. Keeping her stuff piled on the floor, he stood up, offering his hand to help Ness up to her feet.

"It's nice to meet you, Ness. I'm Damien. Damien Murray. Obviously you don't have to use my last name when talking to me though. Just plain Damien will do."

He indicated to her stuff that had once been strewn all over the place, but was now neatly stacked. "Looks like you were quite busy with ... homework?"

"Thanks!" Said Ness taking his hand to get up. Ness smiled at him as he introduced himself,she then giggled when he said she didn't have to say his surname. She was actually pretty happy right now, which she hadn't been in a while becuase of everything that had been happening. Ness didn't think anyone would be if they had lost three of her best friends.Two she hadn't seen around in ages like for months and her other muggle best friend died in a car crash before she started @ hogwarts.

Ness back into focus now replied "yip its absoloutely killing me though!" She hated her homework,but atleast it kept her mind bussy. She smiled again glad to be cheerfull for a change.
"So um... What year you in?" She asked keeping the conversation going.

Not wanting to admit to Ness that he didn't really do homework ... at all ... Damien simply nodded in understandment. Obviously school work would put a strain on anyone; especially at end-of-term times.

"I'm in my 6th year," he said, answering her question. "Kind of an old man, really," he joked. "What about you? Don't take this the wrong way, but you definately look like you could be in your first year."

"Oh! Yeah you look big!" Said only really realizing that now. Was it that obvious she thought, though she wasn't really affended. "Yeah I am" she said grinning. She started to think of what to talk about next, but nothing really came to her. "So um..." She still didn't know what to say. Come on she thought there must be somthing I can say. " So you excited for th quidditch match comming up?" She said finally!

Damien looked guilty. He'd enver really been to a quidditch match. Ever. He usually avoided situations with large amounts of people, and those quidditch matches were definately for the entire school; even if your house wasn't one of the playing teams.

Ness, however seemed truly excited for it. Not surprising that she, being a first year student, would show so much enthusiasm for the matches.

So what should he say?

"Quidditch? You know ... to be honest the thought of watching a quidditch match doesn't thrill me as much as it probably should. Not to say I'd never go to one..."

There was always a first for everything.

"You seem excited, though. Are you planning on going?"

Ness opened her mouth in shock, when he said he didn't really enjoy quidditch. He was after all the first person she knew who didn't really enjoy it, but the again everyone was different."Yeah Im deffinately going seeing as we're playing, you come too, but only if you want to! Im not gonna force you!" said Ness not wanting to pressure him. She hated being pressurerised and thought he probably would hate it too.

Ness looked at the desk where he was sitting at there seemed to be a book lying on the table. So Ness being as curious as she was asked. "Um.. what book you got there?"

Didn't Isobel play Quidditch? More imortantly, wasn't she the captain? Maybe Damien might find himself watching his very first Quidditch math. He looked over to Ness and smiled. "You know ... I think I might just watch the match. I think I know the captain of our house team. Might be fun."

Hopefully.

Ah. Yes, of course Ness would be curious about his book. With the dark leather binding, intriciate designs and ... somewhat scary images on the front, it would make anyone ask what the book was about.

Since everyone seems to be asking ... maybe he's supposed to tell everyone who asked about the book. Not so much the reason he's reading it, but at least what it's about ...

"That book," he began, "It's called The Book of Enoch. It's a book about Fallen Angels. Souls that have left this Earth and this lifetime, but have come back. And they wander among regular people like you, me and muggles ..."
