He was now wishing his mother would have made him transfer to Hogwarts sooner than his fifth year but the past was the past and he just needed to enjoy this night. While she was waiting for Legend and Katie to look her direction, her hazel eyes wandered down the table toward two others of her graduating students. Merlin! She had quite a few students leaving this term! Granted that did mean one other thing; she would be getting new students next term. Sending a quick smile in their direction, she looked back toward the duo close by as the Badger spoke first. Quote:

Memories played quietly in her head, clips here and there that she had tried to push away and go on like this - this particular feast, - was no big deal. But it was, wasn't it? Tomorrow, she would be going home, and.. she would not be returning with Legend and Mat and Lando and Jae and the others. They wouldn't be coming back.
Her stomach knotted. Why she felt like this now, Katie didn't even know. She had hated this school during her first year, when there was that massive flooding from the lake and those two older students telling her their DADA teacher was a murderer, and worst of all she had been homesick. Somewhere along the lines.. Katie had become fond of Hogwarts, the great old castle and it's residents, and suddenly it hadn't seemed as bad as before. Somewhere along the lines, Katie had grown to care about the school and even some of the people. Maybe because of time, or maybe because of those few special professors and staff members who had been more of an influence to her than they could have known at the time, it still made this hard. It made leaving, and knowing she would not return ever again, hard. She would take her memories, but it wouldn't be the same.
A breath she hadn't known she had been holding left her, dark eyes coming back into view as Legend's voice interrupted her thoughts. Try as she might, Katie couldn't manage much more than a faint smile in return. She didn't have the energy to pretend it should be there. "Hey Leggy," Katie murmured back, almost automatically her gaze going to his hand and what it was wrapped around. For a brief moment, she thought about reaching over to grab his hand, and even started to before hesitating and letting it fall back to her side right as another voice addressed them.
Looking away from Legend's hand to see Professor Hadley there, suddenly made her chest feel heavy with emotions that she did her best to ignore. Stealing a glance at Legend and then back, Katie forced a slightly more real smile, turned in her seat so she could face her professor properly. It took her a moment to speak, but she found her voice. "You're.. welcome. Thank you, Professor. You've been.. so very kind to us, I.. can't-" what she couldn't do, was go on from there. Stopping short, Katie pressed her lips together and gave a little shake of her head. "Thank you, for the memories. I'll miss being part of your classroom." Always so honest and upfront; it was really little surprise that Katie was representative of the house of gold and black. Holding her strength up, she nodded curtly. "Thank you. I do my best, because well, in my experience, a little kindness goes a long way." Yes, that goes for you two and how you treat one another. "You're welcome though. And good luck to you." Quote:

Hadley.
He couldn't help but break out into a smile. A real one. "....Yeah! What Katie said. Now, tell us you love us and that we are your favorite students then you can be on your way." He smirked before elbowing Katie lightly in her side. Admit it Hadley! You had to! He would miss her always being on his case. ................ o.O
Even on his final night at Hogwarts, Legend Chosen was still being a smart aleck. And if she could have deducted rubies from the hourglass, then she totally would have! But she wasn't sure how much Tate would have appreciated her messing with the house points now that the feast had begun. Not to mention, it wouldn't have made any difference in the race. "Mister Chosen. If there is one thing that I hoped you learned from your time here at Hogwarts, then it is this: Respect. Respect yourself, respect your peers, respect authority." She said, collectedly. "Now I will say that I have enjoyed every student that I have ever taught . . ." Be it Arithmancy at Hogwarts or Charms down in South Africa.

COULD THE WORLD BE ANY MORE PERFECT RIGHT NOW!?
Insert another "Is this the real life?!" expression on Braeden's face here.
It… it… it was so beautiful! His fiery redheaded Lioness was singing along to one of his favourite songs in her banshee-like singing voice, and… and… he just couldn't be prouder!
Grinning lopsidedly to himself like the big doof he was, Braeden watched admiringly as the girl continued singing, and it wasn't long before he was joining in, singing along with her in his own not-so-very-ear-drum-friendly singing voice.
And next thing the Gryffindork knew, his feet had left the floors of the Great Hall and were now instead on the table, kicking the plate he'd filled with food earlier aside (oops, there goes a first year's face) as he moved clumsily on the table, arms up in the air as he continued to sing dramatically (most Morrissey-like), " Oh yes, you can kick me… and you can punch me, and you can break my face, but you won't change the way I feeeeeeeel…" It was almost like he was singing to the girl, which was rather ironic seeing as the lyrics of the song were so freakishly accurate when it came to describing Braeby's abnormal friendship.

While still grinning most un-Ruby-esque-ly, the lioness gazed in wonder at Brae as he sang the next few lines of the song. And then the words of the song hit her--how perfect the seemed, how... ironic! It described everything about their relationship, right down to the punching and the kicking. Watching Brae try to sing whilst balancing himself on the table after having a few butterbeers was quite a sight indeed. Add Ruby into the picture and you've got yourself a ' RUBY GOT DEM APPLE BOTTOM JEANS,
BOOTS WIT DA FURRRR
GOT DA WHOLE GREAT HALL LOOKIN' AT HURRR
SHE HIT DA FLO,
NEXT THING CHU KNOW,
SHAWTY GOT
LOW, LOW, LOW, LOW!' concert, right at Hogwarts. Yep, what a sight! "And is it really so strange? Oh, is it really so strange? Oh, is it really so, really so strange?" Ruby sang, more to Brae than anyone else. Hiccup.
And then the craziest thing happened. Feeling so fly, like a G6 quite elated, Ruby gazed at her lion friend. She really didn't want to leave Hogwarts like this. Nor did she want to leave Brae, or Curly or Alfie or even Emma. Without even thinking, the redhead closed the space between them in one step, and took Brae's 'stached face in her hands. And then, if you'll believe it, Ruby Abigail Blair kissed Braeden Stonem on the lips in front of the whole school.
...
WAIT. WHAT?! HOLY MAIDS OF MERLIN.

...
WAIT. WHAT?! HOLY MAIDS OF MERLIN. WELL. WELL. WELL.
Who knew Ruby had moves!? Certainly not Brae, who was just staring at the girl with brown eyes the size of China, with a sort of dazed fascination that often came from having one too many butterbeers. There was the silliest of lopsided grins on his butterbeer-mustached faced as he flailed about a bit, trying to keep his balance. It seemed like the floor and the table and the whole world was spinning, and just trying to stay on his feet was a challenge worthy of the Triwizard Tournament.
As Ruby continued singing, Braeden finished the line for her, " I say no, you say yes, but you will change your mind…"
It applied, didn't it? Braeden thought they were perfectly normal friends, Ruby found the Goofball's friendship to be the weirdest, most odd thing on earth. But 'was it really so strange'?
Enough playing with the lyrics, though.
THERE WAS SOME DRAMA 'BOUT TO COOK UP IN HURR.
And it came in the form of a kiss.
Oh, yes. A kiss. Ruby Abigail Blair's lips on Braeden Goofball Stonem's.
And then the world ended.
Well, not really, but Braeden certainly felt like that's what should've happened at that moment. SERIOUSLY?! Ruby… Ruby was… HIM?! But the boy's mind was too foggy to fully comprehend what was going on, and… Ruby's lips were just so soft, and she tasted and smelled like fresh butterbeer, and the song in their heads was just so great, and everyone else was just so blurry, and… and… He just couldn't help the way that I feeeeel himself.
But it didn't last very long because, just a fraction of a second after Ruby had kissed the big dork, he had lost his balance and slipped off the table, crashing onto the bench and then rolling off onto the floor, hitting his head in the process. Hard.
Oh, now the world really was spinning. He couldn't see anything, the whole world and Ruby's bright red hair were all a blur. He looked up, blinked, saw nothing more than blurriness, and allowed his head to fall back onto the floor again with the stupidest of smiles on his face.

She had kissed Brae-- kissed him!--and he was going out with Emma--and now he was on the floor--WAIT, WHAT?!
Ruby left all the horrible thoughts out and concentrated on the last one, of Brae being on the floor. Hurriedly, she jumped off and pulled him up by the shoulders. "Brae? BRAE!!!" She yelled loudly and her blood pressure normalized slightly when she noticed that he was still smiling. Turning slightly pink because it reminded her of the kiss, she shook the goofball a little. If he died from it, she would...never forgive herself. Cough. Plus, was she really that bad at kissing?! GRRR.
WHAT HAD SHE DONE?!

| Leggy & Hadley <3 Fortress of Brilliance ღ Mommy Quad Katie had hesitated, and put her hand down. And for that moment, she couldn't help but mentally frown at her own actions. She knew, very well, what she had wanted to do. It was fear that had stopped her. But even as she sat with her hands in her lap, Katie knew she hadn't changed her mind even after thinking twice about it. Legend was still gripping the crown pendent hanging from around his neck, and this time her hand didn't retreat back when she reached toward him. Putting her hand on his, Katie didn't say a word and simply tried to loosen his hold and take his hand in hers.
Her gaze turning back to meet Hadley's, Katie's smile grew the tiniest bit, becoming an actual real small smile and not just her forcing it to be there. It felt very natural for their professor to keep her calm, professional demeanor, even when they were practically saying their goodbyes and Katie knew, whether or not she would admit to it, that Hadley must have felt more about them and the other seventh years that had attended her class than she would let on. "Thank you, again."
Surprisingly enough with how she felt, Legend's next words to Hadley actually caused the young brunette to laugh a little bit. It wouldn't be the end, if Legend didn't burst out with that. "Oh, come on, Professor. It is our last night, are you sure that's all? Won't you miss us? Who else was going to argue during your lessons and while visiting you in your office and.. every other place you've caught us?" Surely, she would miss them.

WHAT HAD SHE DONE?! Braeden could hear Ruby's voice echoing somewhere in the back of his mind. He felt rather disoriented, no idea where he was or what he was doing anymore, but he simply could not stop smiling. It seemed the gravity of the situation had not yet dawned on him, and for now he was still in unicorn-land, floating on clouds and sliding down rainbows.
Eventually, the Gryffindork opened his eyes again. He blinked a few times, until his vision cleared up and he saw Ruby more clearly. At the sight of her worried pink face, his eyebrows raised. "Wha'… what's the matter?" But then she was shaking him and Braeden could feel his brain just kinda bouncing around in his skull until it hurt. " WhHhoOoOAaAaa…" His voice vibrated from his lips as he tried to speak, but there wasn't much he could say clearly with Ruby shaking him to death.
As the shaking stopped, Braeden rubbed his eyes and waited for his vision to clear up again. When he was able to see Ruby in high-definition again, he grinned.
"Bubs…" he trailed off for a moment with a chuckle. "What just happened?"
Now, whether he had just randomly returned back to normal and held no memory of the past hour or so, OR if he was questioning Ruby about the kiss, was not clear.
The redhead would have to guess. Mwaha.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Brooks Robertser Gryffindor Fourth Year | *sniffles* I'm totally not teary-eyed as i type this. Ern's Walmart Greeter With a sigh, Jayce made his way to the Great Hall for the final time. The boy felt rather mellow and a bit somber as his feet carried him forward. This was.. his final year. His final feast his final.. Well, seeing all of those different faces. He had no idea where he'd be going after this. But in this moment, that was the farthest thing from his mind.
The boy stood in the door way for a bit, hand on the wall, rubbing it lovingly as if it were some sort of pet. Why had he been doing this? Maybe he wanted a piece of him here. But there wasn't much he could do about that, was there? Sure, he could write in the seventh year book, but c'mon. He'd never been much of a writer or anything like that really. He was a bit fearful that he'd somehow manage to mess it up. With a final pat on the wall, he made his way forward, towards the table he realized he'd also never sit at again, which made his frown deepen.
He stood at the edge, staring down it, not wanting to take a seat for fear that it would speed time up. So, he stood there, somber expression still clearly across his face, definitely not the usually Jayce Cannon. OOC: Free postie btw<3 Drop me a VM if you reply please.

| Katie and Prof. Hadley YUP ★ BabyQuad ★ PERRY THE PLATYPUS ★ Ern's Fave ★ dangerous with brooms ★ Legend was completely focused on Hadley and what she had to say. Which was why he didn't notice as Katie's hand was slowly brought up to the hand he had wrapped around the pendent. Instantly he felt his stomach drop and he felt as though he could not breath. He tightened his grip, feeling the cool metal digging into his skin. Was she trying to take it back? Would she take it back forever? Just like Hogwarts, would he never see both again?
Lifting his other hand, he wrapped it around Katie's wrist and tugged on it and pulling it away but not before giving it a small squeeze. "Please...stop." His voice was light and steady but inside he was freaking out. He didn't want his pendent taken away, he didn't want to leave Hogwarts. He didn't want any of it.
But of course...Legend wasn't going to tell anyone that. He was going to act strong. Like a man. Because that was the Legend people were used to. He kept his hand, on top of Katie's in face she would try again.
This time when he turned to face Hadley again his face was not so smug. It was simple. More like sad even. "I have learned that Professor. Thanks to you. You really have made an impact in how I see things." He nodded. NOW he was done with feeling sad. He just wanted to be happy. Enjoy his last days in the castle. "But you have enjoyed us more right? You can't deny it Hadley! I don't see you speaking to any other students right now!"

"WhHhoOoOAaAaa…" His voice vibrated from his lips as he tried to speak, but there wasn't much he could say clearly with Ruby shaking him to death.
Mwaha. When Brae finally opened his eyes and blinked a few times, Ruby sighed in relief. Okay, so he wasn't dead. As he asked what the matter was, Ruby just LOOKED at him for a second. Really?! But before she could answer, Brae twitched as Ruby shook him so the lioness stopped abruptly. "Sorryy," She murmured, looking apologetic. Yes, APOLOGETIC!
Though when Brae grinned again and she was sure he could see properly, Ruby dragged him closer to the bench. She positioned him so his back was resting on the bench as he sat on the cold ground. But as he asked what happened, Ruby's face burned red again. Glancing at him--her masochistic buddy, the one she loved to punch and bully--the girl was at a loss for words. FOR ONCE IN HER LIFE. But was he merely asking about the kiss orrr did he really bump his head so hard that he forgot what just happened? Ruby couldn't tell but his fall didn't look quite so bad that he should lose his memory.
Eying him, she grinned sheepishly. "Well--we were singing and then--and then--" She coughed, trying to keep her voice low so other people wouldn't hear. "--I kissed you." Yeah, let's never mention THAT again! Poor Ruby was so confused and flustered and the butterbeer didn't help. "And then you fell." She looked up to see what the goofball thought of this, whether it rang a bell or not.

Rafe took a seat near the end of the table. His favorite spot--secluded and quiet. He had a lot of things on his mind and hadn't slept in almost three days and it was showing with the dark circles under his eyes. He practically had a beard going on for him and looked like a wolverine or something, but he didn't care. There was much to be done for the summer and that included bloodshed. Rafe just wanted it to be over with and behind him forever, so he could move on with his life and put it back together again.

Christopher sat alone at the end of the table, his head resting on his hand. He shifted the food on his plate around idly rather than eating, slouched over a bit- which was a rather large indicator that he was feeling down in the dumps, since he was usually very big on posture. He didn't want to go home for the holidays. Hogwarts was the only place he'd ever felt at home, especially with his dad gone. He wasn't sure he could go a whole three months without it. Of course he'd done it several times before, but this time it was different. Not even hiding in his books all summer could change that.
He wondered if he'd ever be able to escape the tiny cottage he lived in while he was at school. Probably not, was the answer that first came to mind. But maybe someday.... Maybe after he'd graduated, he'd be able to get his own place, far from that awful Muggle village. Perhaps he could travel the world, or even come back and work for the Ministry, or as a Hogwarts professor. He knew he had plenty of time to think about it, but for now, it was all he had to look forward to in the summer. Besides being a fourth year.

Violet's Mary Janes clicked loudly on the floor as she made her way into the Great Hall. Her hair was half up and half down, with the part that was being held up by a yellow ribbon. Violet couldn't believe that her second year at Hogwarts was already over, and she couldn't believe that she was going to a third year..ALREADY! Not only that she was going to be turning 13 in June, it was all coming so fast for her.
She decided to take a moment to take a look around the Great Hall to see if she saw anyone she wanted to spend the little bit of time they had left before they left for the train. Violet's violet eyes scanned over the Hufflepuff table waving to a few people, then Ravenclaw, then Slytherin. She then rested on the Gryiffindor table when she saw a boy sitting at the end of the table alone, with black hair. Violet began to wonder why that person was sitting alone, so she turned her direction from the Hufflepuff table and began making her new path towards the boy.
As she got closer it didn't take long for her to realize who it was. When she a couple of feet away from him she stopped and thought about what to say, or how to greet him. She knew that he was still having a rough time and she didn't want to make it worse for him. Violet then took a deep breath and took a few steps and slowly extended her arm. She gently tapped him on the shoulder and then said softly,"...Hi Chris.."

She gently tapped him on the shoulder and then said softly,"...Hi Chris.." He was still lost in thought when a little tap fell upon the shoulder of Christopher James. He snapped out of his thought, dropping his fork with a clatter and promptly sitting up straight, looking around. "Huh?" But as his eyes rested upon a really pretty girl he knew, he relaxed a bit and threw on a small smile. "Oh, hi Vi," he said.
After taking the Hufflepuff's hand and pulling her into the seat next to him, Christopher gave her a hug. He didn't say anything, he didn't feel that it was necessary. He pulled away after the hug was nice and long, before giving her a quick side hug/squeeze and returning to his original position. The sitting up straight position, not the slouchy one. The fourteen year old ran his hand through his hair and sighed. Awkward. "So, tell me. Are you ready to be in third year?" he asked, hoping she'd talk enough so that he wouldn't often have to. Sometimes (VERY occasionally) it was nice that girls talked too much.

When he asked her if she was ready to be a third year her eyes widened a little bit and she paused. Violet fingers then made their way into h, ter hair and she began fiddling with it, twirling it around her fingers, braiding it a little, then taking out the braid, that's when you can tell right away when Violet's nervous about something, either she'll play with her hair or her voice gets really high, higher than usual. She said lightly,"...Um...I must admit...I am a bit nervous...I mean it just feels like it's not even been that long since I was a first year and look at me now...I'm already going to be going into my third year here...It's almost like it's flying by...And I'm going to turning 13 in June...That's going to a new chapter in my life..." She sighed a little bit but then turned her attention back to Chris,"What about you? Excited about going into your fourth year?"

The Hufflepuff was too nice. She never talked about herself that much like most girls he knew. Violet Le Veela was really just too perfect. So what the heck did she see in him?
Christopher nodded. "Yeah, I know what you mean. It feels like I was just sorted into Gryffindor a few days ago." He smirked when she said her birthday was coming up. "Maybe this year you'll actually get my present, thirteen is a very special birthday afterall!" he chirped, almost laughing as he remembered their confusion on why they weren't getting the post one another sent. Back then, the almost third year him was miserable stuck in stupid little Seatown, not hearing from a single one of his friends. Looking back now, he realized that it wasn't that big of a deal, even though he was pretty lonely. "Oh you know, it's just another year for me. I'm not to worried about it," he said with a shrug. "My REAL problem is summer. But I think that's an obvious one," the lion hinted at his dilema. Saying that he was being sent away to an orphanage outloud wasn't exactly subtle, nor would it make anyone feel better. Just worse.

She smiled lightly and gave him a light peck on the cheek. Then she gently wrapped her arms around one of his and leaned her head on his shoulder for a moment. She knew that probably wouldn't make him feel that much better at all, but she knew that she had to at least give something a try, to make him feel the slightest bit better.

"Yeah...." he murmured, leaning his head on hers, secretly wondering if he'd still get owl post in an orphanage, and if he could still send Violet Le Veela a good amount of letters. His last day of Hogwarts. He'd always expected it to be when he was seventeen. But this was it. The final hurrah. It wasn't exactly how he'd planned it, but he'd get by. Taking everything he loved besides the smell of sweet pea conditioner in now was something Christopher decided he'd try to. Let's see.....
There was the enchanted ceiling that always fascinated him everyday without fail. The floating candles. The moving staircases. The talking portraits. Getting lost in the castle. Going to Quidditch matches. Really beautiful school grounds. His favourite squashy red chair somewhat near the fire in the Gryffindor Common room. His soft scarlet bed. Awesome food made by the awesome house elves. Trips to Hogsmeade. Honeydukes. Butterbeer. The library that held every book he'd ever want. All of his classes and professors. Herbology. Magic. Violet.
Everything he loved was going to be taken away.
Lifting his head up so that he could whisper in Violet's ear, he said, "I don't want to go." |

| For you people... for anyone... for everyone??? :D 9 3/4 ticket holder / The SS Mentalist / Sherlock / The Master Of Everything / Josh + <3 = Ev
When he had stepped into the Great Hall, Josh was not his usual cheerfull self due to some late news that he had encountered the misfortune to have read. However, he was trying not to take it as the end of the world since this was a feast which he was supposed to enjoy and he had friends who were graduating. They were not going to be back next term so he couldn't act all selfish and be sorry for himself when he was supposed to wish 'awesome goodbyes' to his seventh year friends.
Once he approached the Gryffindor table, first his eyes looked for Simon, however in the middle of the search for his bestie his eyes somehow, probably out of habit since he frequently did it, went to the Slytherin table looking for his girlfriend. And he had, indeed, found her however...when his dark brown gaze landed on the person she was interacting with, Josh did not what he should do at first then tensed with anger. Riley, there, being all around his girlfriend and he was doing that in the middle of the Great Hall.
Taking a long, deep breath to put his tense and temper under control and also to keep himself from directly going there and punch Riley's face well enough to make it a part of the furniture that was Slytherin table, the Gryffindor boy finally sat down on his favourite spot at the table and...glared around...trying not to look at that certain direction.

Sebastian, suited in a rather nice outfit today, took a seat at the Gryffindor table for the last feast. He looked around for his girlfriend, Bonnie, while taking a cookie and biting into it. Yum, the end of the term feasts always had the best food out of any of the others. He grabbed his bag beside him and opened it up, looking for something while he waited for Crazed!Girl.

Bonnie looked up and down the Gryffindor table and spotted him. She almost ran over and sat down beside him. " Hey," she whispered hoarsly. She took a handfull of chips and dropped them onto her plate. She took some chicken but didn't really feel like eating. " Any news?" she tried to speak a little louder.
