Gryffindor House Table Eat, drink, and be merry, O Lions, for tomorrow we return home again. |
Kurumi made her way towards the Gryffindor house table with her head hung a little low. She was disappointed that Gryffindor's streak in winning the House Cup had come to an end this term, but there was always next term. Kurumi found a seat towards the front of the table, and glanced over her shoulder at the Hufflepuff one, her hands clutched around a small box holding a cup cake that she was hoping to give to Treyen before the break. She still hadn't seen him since their conversation over a month ago, but she was feeling much better. Her head was more clear. Setting the box to the side, Kurumi brushed her bangs to the side and scanned the table for the elusive pumpkin juice... |

Rose walked to the End of Term Feast, feeling very upset. She didn't want to leave Hogwarts... It was her life, she was gonna feel so unhappy at home, not being able to do magic, not seeing her friends all the time. She was nearly in tears by the time she sat down. Bad things had happened this year, including one horrible boy, but all the good things outweighed them. She had new friends. She had BEST friends, which she had never had, due to her 'weirdness' or magic, as she had found out. She was gonna miss it... |

Simon tried his best not to get overly emotional about this moment. The time he said goodbye to all he had learned and all he knew to take the first real step into the world beyond. Oh what he wouldn't give to be allowed more time no matter how foolish it seemed to want to cling to his school days. His steps were slow and delibrate as he stepped into the Great Hall amongst the students already there, a package held in his hand for the one person he wouldn't be able to catch on the train. The seventh years' eyes were flicking around the large room, taking in everything there, from familiar faces to the surroundings that he would soon miss. |

Thomas walked into the End of the term feast he had been so busy he hardly had socialised! He sat in a empty seat hoping to catch sight of Jordan. While he was waiting he grabbed a sandwhich and drunk some pumpkin juice. |

Noticing the sadness in Simon's eyes, Kurumi knew that discussing how much she was going to miss him probably wasn't the best thing to do. Spending the entire night in tears certainly wasn't how she would want to spend er evening. "SIMON!" she called out waving her hands around in the air. |
As the Great Hall filled with students ready to enjoy the last feast before boarding the Hogwarts Express bright and early in the morning, the curly-haired seventh year slowly followed behind a couple of Gryffindors to their table, dark eyes gazing around the large room as she went, too many thoughts on her mind. What with many students still arriving, Katie slid onto the bench with plenty of room on either side of her as well as across from her, a girl of black and yellow amongst the scarlet and gold. Her very first feast at Hogwarts had been spent at her own house table, but after that the night was almost always spent with the lions, simply because all of her friends had ended up in the same house. So there she sat, brushing dark unruly curls from her face and trying to look unconcerned as she waited for her boys to show up. |
William walked into the Grat Hall for the feast. He will meet up with Witsy on the trian. "Did we all have a good year?" William called out to any and all Gryffindors who will ansqwe him. |

"Hey..." he said sitting down and setting his small load on the table beside him. Simon hadn't noticed Madam Donovan at the staff table quite yet so he would need to wait. |
Cove walked into tue great hall. Well more like skipped, but that wasn't important. She took a seat near some people she knew, but didn't really notice that he had. She was too hungry to pay attention. She filled her plate up with food and dug in. Yummy. :) |

To think, just the other day he had been a little kid, apologizing to Jack when the older boy left. And now..he was that boy would would leave. As his green eyes trailed over to the Gryffindor table, Legend forced a small smirk before taking a seat next to Katie. His hand still clutching the pendent. "Hey Cub." He murmured quitely. |

Kurumi spotted the small package and began to wonder who it was for. He had already given her a broom, he really didn't need to give her anything else. "How did your exams go?" Truth was that she really wanted to pick his brain about NEWTs... |

"It's going to be nice though, coming back as a big third year." She smirked at the thought. She could just picture it, Nika Adler not an 'ickle firstie' or a 'still cueless second year', but Nika Adler THE third year. Yeah the thought just made her excited on it's own. She was so proud of being a second year and next term she'll be even prouder. "Do you think you're ready to be a fourth year Kurumi?" Wow. A fourth year. They grow up so fast. |
Such a strange term this had been, as Josephina watched much of it seem to whirl past her. As she was headed toward her usual spot at the staff table, the Arithmancy Professor passed by several faces of whom this would be the last time she would be seeing them inside Hogwarts castle. Some faces, she would dearly miss, others, not so much. Two such faces though in particular caught her eye, as it hadn't been terribly long ago when they left her a gift in her office. Quote:

"I suppose..." she giggled. "To be perfectly honest, I really do not feel that much different from when I was sitting here as a first year, other than being a little taller." She wasn't entirely sure what to expect as a forth year, but she had learned that you really shouldn't go into any term at Hogwarts with expectations about how things will be. The castle always proved you wrong and threw you a bludger when you were expecting a snitch. Merlin, she was using Quidditch analogies now. Selina would be proud. "I'll be as ready as I can be, with cookies and all." She returned to scanning the table and finally found the pitcher of pumpkin juice. Yay! "You have any plans for the summer?" |

"So...another year gone by..." |
Anyone?! The term was over. Riley walked into the Great Hall and looked at the enchanted ceiling, the large ornate tables, the staff, all his friends, EVEN THE PUFFS; He was going to miss it all. The Gryffindor made his way over to his house table and sat down, tyring not to think about how it would be his last time. He was now wishing his mother would have made him transfer to Hogwarts sooner than his fifth year but the past was the past and he just needed to enjoy this night. |

Nika took another sip from her water, except this time much smaller than the first. Now that she thought about what Kurumi said the more it applied to herself as well. Did she even feel that different being a second year? The only real difference was that she's able to find her classes a bit faster than last term, but even now she still gets lost in the school. Nika's been telling herself all term that being a second year is so much better than being a little first year. Others mistook her as a first year several times, but really only she could tell the real difference. It wasn't all that different at all. Other than having her hair dyed so that it wasn't brown anymore nothing really had changed. "Yeah, I don't feel much different either," She quietly agreed. "Good," Nika replied with a smile, "Because if you didn't have cookies then I think all of Hogwarts would be disappointed." Merlin those sweet treats are good. "Me? Eerm... Not really. I guess I'm going to try and talk to my sister and hang out with her a bit, but other than that nothing really." She might end up visiting a friend or two like last term, but that was all up to how her sister would react to their "bonding". "What about you? What are you're plans?" She was sure Kurumi had some sort of trip planned out for the holiday. She was so popular among the students that she was bound to go to someone's house or vice versa. |
Legend and Prof. Hadley <3 Somewhere between sitting down and waiting for the others to find her, her eyes closed, listening to chatter of students catching up one last time and saying goodbye.. some maybe forever, for her fellow seventh years. The shuffle of feet and occasional clanking of silverware being moved met her ears as well. Memories played quietly in her head, clips here and there that she had tried to push away and go on like this - this particular feast, - was no big deal. But it was, wasn't it? Tomorrow, she would be going home, and.. she would not be returning with Legend and Mat and Lando and Jae and the others. They wouldn't be coming back. Her stomach knotted. Why she felt like this now, Katie didn't even know. She had hated this school during her first year, when there was that massive flooding from the lake and those two older students telling her their DADA teacher was a murderer, and worst of all she had been homesick. Somewhere along the lines.. Katie had become fond of Hogwarts, the great old castle and it's residents, and suddenly it hadn't seemed as bad as before. Somewhere along the lines, Katie had grown to care about the school and even some of the people. Maybe because of time, or maybe because of those few special professors and staff members who had been more of an influence to her than they could have known at the time, it still made this hard. It made leaving, and knowing she would not return ever again, hard. She would take her memories, but it wouldn't be the same. A breath she hadn't known she had been holding left her, dark eyes coming back into view as Legend's voice interrupted her thoughts. Try as she might, Katie couldn't manage much more than a faint smile in return. She didn't have the energy to pretend it should be there. "Hey Leggy," Katie murmured back, almost automatically her gaze going to his hand and what it was wrapped around. For a brief moment, she thought about reaching over to grab his hand, and even started to before hesitating and letting it fall back to her side right as another voice addressed them. Looking away from Legend's hand to see Professor Hadley there, suddenly made her chest feel heavy with emotions that she did her best to ignore. Stealing a glance at Legend and then back, Katie forced a slightly more real smile, turned in her seat so she could face her professor properly. It took her a moment to speak, but she found her voice. "You're.. welcome. Thank you, Professor. You've been.. so very kind to us, I.. can't-" what she couldn't do, was go on from there. Stopping short, Katie pressed her lips together and gave a little shake of her head. "Thank you, for the memories. I'll miss being part of your classroom." |
Katie and Prof. Hadley YUP Legend tightened his grasp around the pendent. He didn't know why but he just couldn't let go. He wouldn't let go. He wasn't really too. Just like with Legend Hogwarts. He just wasn't ready. Legend's head turned quickly as he heard an extremely familiar voice. Hadley. He couldn't help but break out into a smile. A real one. "....Yeah! What Katie said. Now, tell us you love us and that we are your favorite students then you can be on your way." He smirked before elbowing Katie lightly in her side. Admit it Hadley! You had to! He would miss her always being on his case. |
Rubehhhhhhhhhhhh!! Had RUBY ABIGAIL BLAIR seriously just called BRAEDEN STONEM "funneh"!? REALLY?! He wasn't dreaming?! This was... this was really happening?! Is this just fantasy?! But before Braeden could celebrate too much or get too smug, with his brand new butterbeer mustache that he was still completely oblivious to, the redheaded girl was confirming that she heard the music too. Oh, thank MERLIN. So he wasn't going crazy after all! Hiccup. He might've not been crazy, but he certainly seemed to be something else... "... I travelled South... I found a tiny house, and I can't help the way I feel..." the boy muttered under his breath as he listened to the music playing in his head. HEY WAIT A MINUTE. "I know this song!" he suddenly announced, brown eyes going saucer-sized on his face. |
