Large quantities of food are spread before you. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the Hogwarts' house elves are the best in the world. The food is superb and the company is as well. The house poem, penned by All4oliverwood:

Elle walked down to the Great Hall for dinner, feeling extremely hungry (and nervous!). She had told Nika she was going to head down here so she could start meeting new people. But she felt like if she didn't get some food in her quick, she would pass out.
So Elle skipped into the Great Hall, looking around at the Gryffie table, trying to spot anyone she knew. Or maybe she should look for people she didn't know...hmm. Well, she was just going to eat first, worry later.
She was heading to a seat on the bench when she saw the motivator for her new social life...."Nika! Hey!" Elle called out as she was heading to take a seat. |

Carter glanced down at the parchment in his hand. How exactly was this a defense against the dark arts assignment? Of course... Carter didn't mind most of the stuff on the list... it was stuff he tried to do anyway.
But... he'd worry about that in a few hours. Now it was time for breakfast - the most important meal of the day. After all, he couldn't begin his day without being energized.
He took a seat at the table and piled some eggs and bacon on his plate.
Mmmm... breakfast. It was easily one of Carter's favorite time of the day.

Ariadne listened to Zara talk about her family and it was clear that she missed them. 'What kind of jobs do they have in the Ministry? Have you ever been there? I'd love to see the Ministry of Magic building, I bet it's impressive.' the girl commented. She never had Zara's problem, even if her mum worked late, because she usually accompanied her at work, and even got to help her sometimes. But obviously, that wouldn't have happened if her mum worked at the Ministry. No, her mum was the owner of a small bookshop in Yorkshire. 'Uhh. I never thought of this that way. But yeah, you can never know what people like him may think. And I'm sure neither does he, sometimes.' the brunette chuckled, taking a sip of pumpkin juice.

Jordan woke up feeling dizzy, and with a lot of soreness. He went all out on the run. Heck that's probably the most he's ever ran. 7 Miles, in one day. He could feel the soreness in his hamstring and his ankles. "Never doing that again. That was so hardcore on my body." As Jordan began to eat in the Great Hall. "Maybe I should just go extreme once a week, and then go moderate."

Carter laughed. "Wow. That must be horrible." he said. He couldn't imagine even having just a cold and a slightly less cold season. "What do you do when it's cold out all the time?" he asked.
He chuckled again watching Jai enjoy his food. "Are you enjoying the rest of Hogwarts?" he asked. The food was great, but there were tons of other great things too. Like the girls.
"Yeah... I'm just hoping it's one of those things you get used to." he said. Soon all of it would seem like nothing... right?
"Yeah. That sounds good to me." he said nodding. "I was thinking of doing the run first. What do you think?"

Sarah walked gloomily to the Gryffindor Table. She laid her bag on the table with a thud and sat down on the table. She bent down her head and covered it with her hands. She closed her eyes for a few seconds and relaxed. Ok Sarah, chill. she said to herself. She lifted her head and looked at the cheerful Gryffie's sitting next to her. She smiled at all of them.

Jordan headed down to the Great Hall, to eat. And boy, was he hungry. He grabbed some Pumpkin Juice to decrease the throat soreness in his body. He didn't really have time to screw around or just chill. He had a busy day in front of him. Actually, there was only one class he had to go to. He had to do his daily workout for Defense Against the Dark Arts. He just didn't know what he should do. "Should I lift and box for awhile, run the whole time or mix it up? I'm not really sure at the moment."

It was getting in her face a lot latley, maybe she'd need to put it up. "And yes, the food does look delicious!" Ronnie said happily, reaching for the most delicious foods on the table. "And I am very good, thank you, Zara! How about you?"
