| | Gryffindor House Table
Large quantities of food are spread before you. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the Hogwarts' house elves are the best in the world. The food is superb and the company is as well. The house poem, penned by All4oliverwood: Get up off of your seats
Ready for some fun?
You ain't seen nothin' yet
For this years just begun
Friends are rollin' in
It's faces old and new
Nothing comes between us
Dear Gryffindors be true
Outside of the castle
Ready for things to fly
Lions are soaring strong
In a game that's do or die
On this autumn night
Near the crimson fireplace
Solid friendships forming
People so full of grace
Rockin' the competition
In a race for the house cup
Doing everything we can
Earning points to keep us up
Reeling for a win
Us Lions gettin' it done
Loyality guiding us through
Everyone working as one |

"I think I'm best at those subjects, too. I'm good with my wand." His professors at Merlin's had been really great too, and they had given him good incentive to work hard at those subjects.
Chuckling, he shook his head. "Don't worry about it." He felt the same way - today was boring. But that was fine with him. A relaxing day every once in a while was good. Cove stared at the food. It was mocking her. "I want to eat it, but my stomache feels like it's gonna explode." She said laughing. "It's mocking me!" Okay it's official, she has lost her mind.
"Yeah? I am good with mine too. Potions isn't so bad. But it's not my favorite." Cove said smiling.
"Why does it seem that the end of the year is always the most boring?"

Love, Rupert 'OMGOSH!' Rose exclaimed. 'Ronnie! I'm so sorry!' Rose frowned, hugging Ronnie. Oh, God, please help Ronnie with the pain she must be feeling. Spare her some of the pain, and help her through it! Rose prayed silently

"Why does it seem that the end of the year is always the most boring?" Dallin grinned when Cove said the food was mocking her. It did look delicious, and he could see what she was getting at. It was definitely a form of torture to sit by this sort of food and not be hungry.
He nodded, only talking when she asked a question. "Good question," he said with a light laugh. "Maybe because everything interesting usually happens in the middle of the term. By the end all of the excitement has died down, and most of the classes are coming to an end. Plus there's the feeling that you're going to go home soon." Which could be a good or bad feeling, depending on who you were and how you looked at it.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Emily Smith Third Year | Anyone? :)
Emily had finally emergered from the library. Her bag was slung over her shoulder, heavy from all the books inside. She may look small, but this scond year was quite strong!
She collapsed at the table, dumping her bag next to her and pulling some pumpkin juice towards her. She was actually gonna sit and eat today, rather than take food back up to her common room. She'd been doing this for the most of term, wanting to stay away from anyone. Now mabye it was time she got some human interaction.

"Yeah you could say that." she replyed. Reasearch, homework - what was the difference really? "Nice to meet you William. Mind if I call you Will?" Long names bored her. "I'm Emily." She realised this was the first time she had spoken in ages. Even longer since she'd spoken to another student. Her voice was quiet from lack of use.
She coughed, then looked at the girl William was introducing him to. "Hi Witsy. I'm Emily." she smiled again, holding out her hand to shake the girls.

He had his gaze fixed on a spot on the armrest of Ruby's armchair, bushy eyebrows furrowed as a look of deep thought and concentration took over his usually-goofy features. It wasn't until the fiery redheaded Lioness spoke, mentioning that it was a bad idea for Brae to try to get involved, that the boy finally looked up.
Yeah, he had a feeling that would probably be the case.
But… if Ruby would continue to be home-schooled, if she was just leaving Hogwarts and not England, then… "Can I at least still visit you?" he asked. And it was rather ironic that he'd ask, seeing as he always showed up at the Blair residence unannounced and uninvited to make himself at home. If Ruby didn't deny him (and even if she did, who said the Gryffindork was gonna listen?), then the boy was already making plans to come over every weekend and be as huge of a pain in the neck as possible. He had to make up for the days Ruby wouldn't get to punch him around and he wouldn't get to infuriate her!
But then the girl was up on her feet, and Braeden looked up at her questioningly.
As Ruby asked if he was going to go get something to eat earlier, the boy nodded, and as she went on to announce that she would be joining him, the little doof grinned in that lopsided way he so often did. Taking Ruby's offered hand (a bit warily still), the cowardly lion hopped up to his feet.
And, without further ado, Braeden Stonem nearly sprinted out of the common room, dragging Ruby Blair behind him. Snorting loudly when he asked if he could still visit her, Ruby nodded. "Yeah, whatever," She said, the grin still etched on her face. It was nice that he was asking permission for once, though--usually he just barged in without invitation. And then, before she knew it, the Gryffindork was dragging her out of the common room and down to the Great Hall.
When they arrived, she made a beeline for the Gryffindor table, of course. Sitting down at an empty place on the bench, Ruby patted the seat next to her and then eyed Brae. This would be nice--she could pie him before the term ended! Noticing a jug of butterbeer, though, the lioness was suddenly thirsty. She reached forward and poured herself a gobletfull and then, on second though, poured one for the goofball as well. "To Gryffindor," She said, raising her goblet in a toast. But before Brae could even clink goblets with her, she had gulped down the entire contents and was already pouring herself another glass. Thirsty much?

As she patted the seat next to her, the boy's grin widened slightly and he immediately plopped down into it, as ungracefully as possible. He pulled an empty plate before him and immediately began to pile it up with a small mountain of food when, suddenly, Ruby offered him a goblet.
Oh?
Brae raised an eyebrow at the goblet, a bit wary of its contents at first, but when he took it and glanced down to see it was just sweet, innocent butterbeer, he smiled. He raised his goblet as Ruby proposed a toast, but it seemed he wasn't quick enough for Ruby who was already gulping down the whole thing and pouring herself another goblet. Braeden just stared. O_O Merlin! Somebody was thirsty.
Heck, he was rather thirsty too, actually. After all that running around earlier, trying to get into the common room in his boxers, the boy had grown rather dehydrated. So, he chugged the whole goblet of butterbeer in the next second and, just as Ruby was working on her second goblet, he took the butterbeer jug and poured himself some more. Who knew the butterbeer at Hogwarts could be as good as the butterbeer in The Three Broomsticks?! These elves could really do anything, couldn't they?
" Aahh…" The boy sighed contently as he finished his second goblet of butterbeer.
A moment later, he was pouring his third. He turned to Ruby then. "More, m'lady?"

It seemed ages ago since Alicia showed herself up at the Great Hall. She walked slowly, trying to find an empty seat in her house table. Gryffindor. She sat down, placed her school bag down on the floor and rest her head immediately on the table. She didn't bother to look around, not even touch the seemingly delicious food on the table. She sighed. She wasn't hoping for someone to talk to her, but of course she would be happy if there was someone to talk to. no matter who he/she was.

Once her second goblet was finished, the lioness gazed at its empty contents before registering Brae's voice. "Puh-lease," She said with a grin quite like his, pushing her goblet towards him. But he was already on his third--hmm, hopefully he wasn't competing with her. Cause she hated losing. As soon as the goofball was done pouring it, Ruby dumped the entire gobletful into her thirsty mouth--a little butterbeer even dribbled down her chin. Wiping it hastily, Ruby grinned stupidly. Was it just her orrr were her eyes getting droopy? Shaking her head, she poured herself 2 more gobletfuls and drank them in succession.
Setting down her 5 goblet of butterbeer sloppily, the redheaded lioness started swaying on the spot. "Hey Brae..." She said, nudging the goofball beside her. Goofball, hehe, such a funny word. Eyes twinkling, Ruby turned to face the brown-haired boy.

Emily felt like everyday had been dragging since she'd had the fight with her best friend. Mabye making a new one would help her feel better.

Like a good little waiter boy, Braeden wasted no time in filling Ruby's goblet with some more butterbeer. He couldn't stop staring at her, though. She was so… smiley. It was so terribly odd but pleasant to look at; it actually reminded him of that one she'd been under the influence of who-knows-what (the magic perfumes from the cart they had knocked down accidentally during their chase, though they never figured out that had been the cause of Ruby's abnormal behaviour), and she'd been uncharacteristically sweet and nice.
" OH!"
The Gryffindork jumped in his seat in surprise as he felt the butterbeer drip all over the hand that held the goblet. He'd been distracted and failed to notice the goblet was already full. With a sheepish grin, he handed Ruby the goblet and proceeded to wipe his hand clean before taking a large gulp of butterbeer. Straight from the jug.
Well, what was he supposed to do?! Keep pouring it into the goblet 23647 more times?! Nahhh, he'd just save himself time and drink it straight from the source. Besides, the jug was magical and re-filled itself, so that no matter how much the boy took, its contents were always the same.
Setting the jug down a bit sloppily, causing some of the liquid inside to splash out onto the table, Braeden burped obnoxiously.
"Oh, sorry…" He smiled to himself like a little boy, and turned to Ruby as the girl nudged him, unaware of the butterbeer mustache that now graced his upper lip, making him look like some much older mature man from the 1920s. Or something. "Yes, m'dear?" His brown eyes suddenly widened. "Hey… do you hear that?!" Had the butterbeer given him magically acute hearing?! He could've sworn he'd just heard music, but, as he looked around, he saw no one in the Great Hall had any music playing from anywhere.
Maybe he was going crazy?

…… Nahhhhh.

…… Nahhhhh. As Brae drank straight from the butterbeer jug, Ruby stared at the little lion. And just when you thought she was going to yell at him for doing something as gross as that, she...laughed. Yes, Ruby Blair laughed at Brae for drinking from the jug. Then, looking from the jug to her own goblet, she grinned sneakily at the goofball. Once he was done drinking, the redhead took the jug from him and took a huge gulp herself. After Brae had already out his disgusting mouth alllll over it. YEAH.
Wiping her mouth with the back of her hand carelessly, Ruby ignored his apologies for the burp, giggling like a 5 year old instead. "Chu so funneh, Brae," She said, poking him with her finger. When he answered her, she opened her mouth to ask the boy to pass the rolls, please--but he started talking again. Ruby strained her ears for the music but heard nothing. "What mu--" She started to ask but just then, she heard it. Grinning widely again, she nodded vigorously. "Chyeaaahh, I hear it!" She said gaily, swaying her head to the beat. But what song was it? While she thought, she took another chug of butterbeer--straight from the Brae-infested jug, of course. Man, this was the best--two lions enjoying a good drink and listening to some tunes. This was the way to live at Hogwarts.
