"YES! I've sorted into Gryffindor. I love it!" Jordan thought in his mind while going to his Gryffindor table, "Hey there. My name is Jordan, nice to meet you all." He took a seat between the middle and left end sections and began to eat, as if he was very hungry, and he was.

Lexi tromped over to the Gryffie table and after a glance around decided to take a seat nearer to the center of the table as opposed to her usual spot at the head. She was not very school spiritish today and her face was hideous, so yeah. Plopping down, Rufus perched on her shoulder she propped her chin in her hands and began to pout and such.

scout shuffled over to the gryffindor table to take a seat. she was surprised to be sorted into gryffindor (her older siblings are in ravenclaw) but she was very excited! she couldn't wait to start term....and to eat

she saw an open seat next to jordan. "hi jordan, i'm scout. i think we met briefly on the train?" she smiled, "is this seat free?"

Nika skipped down to the great hall with a smile on her face. She could just tell that this is going to be a wonderful year. She hummed a cheerful tune and waved at a few students passing by. Looking around the table she noticed that she was one of the first people to get there. "Heyyy Gryffies!" AH, it's nice to be back.

Cove sat down at the table. She wished she and John were in the same house but oh well she would meet new people. She was new to Hogwarts and didn't know anyone but John and another new girl, Krissa. She was nervous.

"Hey Scout. Welcome to Gryffindor. And go ahead, take your seat. So, how excited are you? I know I'm pumped and glad to begin the term tomorrow." As he was talking, hoping to see Ella, Daisy, Rose, Ember, Matilda and Thomas from the train here. Hoping that they were all in Gryffindor at least.

Krissa stumbled into the Gryffindor table, relieved that here she at least could probably find a niche. All the Gryffindors she had met so far had been so nice, and she couldn't help but htink that she had got the right house. She looked around the table at the unfamiliar (and few familiar) faces. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. She just hoped that she would too.

Adelyn rushed towards the Gryffindor table, and noticing she was one of the first there, searched for a familiar face. Suddenly, she spotted one; a girl, two years younger than her. "Nika, hi!" Adelyn called out as she walked over to her. "How are you? I didn't get to see you on the train!"

Selina took a seat at the Gryffindor table and seemed to meld right into the seat. She was at home sitting at her table. Gryffindor had been her home for a whole year and she could not wait to start another. She had grown so much in the past year and was thoroughly excited to grow more. Grow more in intelligence, grow more in Quidditch, grow more in friendship, and grow more in herself.

So she watched all of the old students return and sit. She smiled at her peers and her friends. Without even thinking about it she touched her tie softly. She was home.

a girl skipping merrily between tables caught her attention. she turned, giving a wide-eyed surprised look. how did people have so much energy right now?! she was excited to be here and sorted in gryffindor, of course, but she could really use a good night's sleep... "hi!" scout said to the skipping girl. "i'm scout, what's your name?"

"welcome yourself! and thanks for the seat," she sat down and helped herself to pumpkin juice before responding to jordan's question. "yeah i'm mega excited. nervous, too." she wondered who jordan was looking for, as his eyes darted all over the great hall...

Having gotten separated from his friends he had been speaking with throughout the train ride when everyone divided into carriages, Simon walked to into the Great Hall alone. With purpose he strode towards the Gryffindor table an act that was so natural after the seven years since his sorting. Looking around for familiar faces, the first one he spotted was Selina and he smiled walking closer.

"Hey Selina...glad to be back?" he asked taking a seat on the other side of the table.

Nika smiled at the transfer that she had met on the train. "Hey!" She patted a seat next to her in hope that Krissa would like to sit there.

"Hey Addie!" Nika gave the girl a warm smile. "I know! I haven't seen you in such a long time!" T'was true, very true. "How are you?" She asked the girl as she set her bags down beside her seat. "Come, sit."
Nika just giggled at the little stare she got. Eh, she was used to it by now anyways. "Hiya! I'm Nika Adler!" She extended an arm towards the girl. "Never seen you around here before. Are you new?"

"hey nika, nice to meet you!" scout shook nika's hand. whoa, lots of energy, but scout was happy that she was so welcoming - it made her feel right at home in gryffindor. "yeah i'm a first year, freshly sorted." she smiled, proud of being in gryffindor, and still buzzing with the adrenaline of the sorting ceremony.

Selina was in the middle of touching her tie when she heard a voice come from her left. Her face turned to the source of the voice when she saw Simon sitting there and settling into his spot at the opening feast for the last time. She felt a pang of hurt in her chest. Simon would graduate this year. He was the only Captain she had known, hopefully she would play for him again this year.

"Oh hello, did you enjoy your summer?" Selina squeaked. Her vocal chords still jumped around every time he was around, but she was getting better... somewhat.

Orlando Renaldi was enjoying the feeling of possessiveness in him - the loin was glad that he had decided to embrace it and refused KT to get away from him. His arm was currently linked with hers as he marched on toward the Gryffindor table to find them a seat. She usually did end up at his table anyway. He was determined to spend the whole feast with her.

They had to catch up. And talk. And spend precious time together. And talk more really. And eat, of course - eating was very very necessary.

Finding space from them at once, after reaching the table - Orlando let her arm go, bowing his head slightly. "After you, maa'm" he bowed his head, grinning. OLD EMBARRASSING MEMORIES LIVED FOREVER FOR MOMENTS LIKE THESE, YOU SEE.

Krissa smiled as the second year that she had met on the train, Nika, patted the seat next to her, and scooched over to sit by her. She could hardly contain her excitement as she looked around the room. It just had such a friendly atmosphere! "Hey Nika!" Krissa said, "I didn't expect it to be so big in here!"

"Well then welcome to the best house ever! You're going to love it here!" Nika shook her head rapidly. "I'm only a second year, but you have any questions or you just want someone to talk to or a friend to be with just go looking for me alright?" Nika smiled warmly at the girl. Sure she was very bouncy at the moment, but it's only because of the excitement of the feast and the sorting. Or she's just normally like this all the time... Probably the latter, but still...
"Yeah Hogwarts is full of surprises." Full indeed. Trapdoors and a room of requirement, Hogwarts should be the new definition of surprises. Nika laughed a little and nodded her head. "It only gets bigger really. This place is HUGE! Not like my old school anyway. So I see your a Gryffie now! Congrats!"

Legend Chosen was in the building. Or rather castle. Yeah that thing. Strutting past other students Legend made his way over to the first opening he saw at the Gryffindor table. Yes. HIS TABLE. He had sat at this table probably over two thousand times. He really couldn't believe it was his last year.

Brushing his hair out of his eyes he looked up at the new and old Gryffies. "Hey Lexi! Simon!" He gave a slight nod to the new Gryffindors around him that he did not know. "Orlando!!" His eyes traveled to the person who was with him. Out of courtesy he gave Katie a stiff nod.

Addie smiled back brightly at Nika, and took a seat beside her on the bench. "It's been way too long. I'm so glad to finally be back here!" She looked around the Great Hall and sighed happily. "I've been good, though. Busy over the holiday, but good. How about you?"

"Hey," said Cai with a smile. She loved the fact that she wasn't going to be the only one with a high energy level. "I'm Cai. Cai Black. Nice to meet you!" Cai smiled. "I'm so glad I'm in Gryffindor," she though.

"So, what do you think about the Great Hall? I think it's beautiful, don't you? I love the skies in the ceiling." Skies in a ceiling was not a normal ceiling for Jordan, as he was used to the standard, nothing in the ceiling. But again, this is Hogwarts, not the muggle world.

He looked around for his friends from the train. He figured they would be entering the Great Hall as soon as they got their trunks up and got off the train. He thought some people were still on the train, saying their last goodbyes and making their final purchases at the food trolley. "Great Hall seems a bit empty, don't ya think?" Asked Jordan as he was starting to run out of questions to ask or topics to talk about.

"thanks so much, i really appreciate it! i'm sure we'll be seeing each other a lot around here... same common room and all..." she smiled and half-laughed at her own half-joke. maybe a little of nika's contagious energy was rubbing off on her? anyway, she was glad someone was still so excited and full of energy after that long train ride.

Cove saw Krissa just as a girl with really cool looking hair called something out. "Hey Krissa! Can I sit with you?" she asked. "Hello there! Whats your name? I'm Cove Brett."

"Hello, my name is Jordan. I'm a first year too in Gryffindor, welcome to Gryffindor by the way. Suppose I'll be seeing ya alot then, eh?" Asked Jordan.
