It... It was over? Hugo looked around, floating on his broom. The snitch wasn't caught. It couldn't be. No! There was still time! Hugo flew a bit lower to see what was going on. It couldn't! No! They... Hufflepuff had really won. WHAT?! Hugo flew down speedy. He tried to land, but slipped in the mud and fell face down. What was this? Losing? AAHHH. He hit the muddy ground with his hands and feet like a little kid, trying not to scream. He was so angry. How could this have happened? If only he had scored more, then they could have won. STUPID HUGO. Hugo looked up from the mud. His face was dirty. Maybe he could go up to Vindictus, and convince him that it wasn't fair. That they had somehow cheated. Their brooms had been tampered with. Or something. As he tried to get up, he slipped again and fell down. Naw. What was the point? He lied face up to the sky now, quidditch players flying around. Hugo crossed his arms. He was just going to lie there and be depressed. They lost. Who cares. He wasn't any good at Quidditch anyway. He sucked. He was nothing against Hufflepuff. Hugo sighed and realized that he needed to get up from the mud and accept the fast that he had lost the game to Hufflepuff. Careful not to slip again, he got up and took his broomstick, all covered in mud in his hand. "Good game," he said to the Hufflepuff students. |
Isobel was grinning, because she had scored like four goals. She saw the snitch and stopped in midair. She watched as the seekers raced after it, her fingers crossed. Come on Treyen! And then, splat? She saw that one of them had the snitch, but which one? She saw a glint of yelllow; TREYEN! He had caught the snitch! They won! They won? They beat Ravenclaw! Extremely proud of her team, Isobel looked down to see where they all were. Bad idea; she also saw how far away the ground was. Her face paled and she felt sick. Isobel turned her broom and veered towards the stands...whoops. She caught sight of Damien and got distracted from everything else. He had come? Cool. She waved to him and almost fell off her broom. It was then that she realized she was shaking. Slowly she floated down to the ground. When her feet were on solid ground she breathed a sigh of relief. "Treyen!" Isobel ran over to where he was and gave him a big hug. "Yay!" That was the only thing she could think of to say. And then she went over to where Maybelle was, she seemed like she was the most injured. "Maybelle? Are you okay?" Probably not, she looked like she was in a lot of pain. |
He had NOT been expecting this. And he wasn't too happy about it either, because it meant that Ellie had been right, for the hundredth time. Treyen wasn't going to lie, he was exhausted. Exhausted because he actually had to lead Ellie away from the snitch a couple times, instead of making her hit the Stands thanks to him. He couldn't. If the last game had been a stressful one, then he didn't know what to call this one, because he'd been beyond stressed. Ellie seemed to be enjoying herself, though. Except...he didn't know how she was now. The boy held an expression of shock, amazement, confusion...and...there was a little smirk somewhere in there as well, before he started to frown. He was all covered in mud. HIS HAIR, HIS PRECIOUS HAIR, all covered in mud. That was one thing he didn't like about Quidditch. Not that he had to play against the girl he liked, but also his hair was now all covered in dirt from Vindictus' Pitch. Needless to say, he wasn't pleased with that. Not with one thing he didn't notice until Vindictus announced it. Hufflepuff won. That meant...that Ellie had lost. Well, Ravenclaw. And his face just held a blank expression. He couldn't possibly look her way, even if she was right there. However, he looked towards the Ravenclaw boy that had spoken, and he nodded, "Same to you," they were amazing, really, and he couldn't still believe they'd won. They could face Ravenclaw again, you know? But...where was his snitch? Ah. The only thing that wasn't covered in mud because it had decided to stay inside his sleeve after he'd caught it. His eyes were on the golden ball as he took it in his hand. "Guess I was wrong." He was hoping Ellie wasn't mad at him for getting the snitch, he still wasn't looking her way because of that. |
Jacob's head almost imploded when he heard Vindictus' booming voice. 'Hufflepuff... WON?!' Jacobs whole body spun around to see the area where Treyen and Ellie had landed. His eyes once again filled with fury. There was no way that little wimp had just beaten his best seeker... no way! BANG! He couldn't control himself, his hand traveled to the stands with such momentum that the bang that erupted from the impact was louder than even he expected. As it echoed across the field, Jacob looked down at his now bleeding hand, but couldn't feel the pain that would usually appear with it... all sense of pain was drowned out by his anger. He was not happy, not one bit. Jacob flew down unsteadily. Not only was it the fact that he couldn't control his bleeding hand, but his whole body was shaking from anger. When he landed, Jacob passed the hufflepuff captain forcing a simple, and muttered "Good game" he muttered through clenched teeth. And kept moving towards the Locker room door. He held the door open, inviting his teammates in, though the expression on his face was just the opposite of inviting. They would be getting a major verbal beating... Jacob was going to share, in great detail his displeasure in their performance. |
Ellie was quite confused. She'd sat up and she certainly didn't have the Snitch. But...did that mean that Treyen did? Or was it lost somewhere in the icky, sticky mud? Then she heard Vindictus. Oh. That answered her question. Treyen had it. Her eyes were closed due to her not being so keen on getting mud in them. She already wasn't happy about having mud out of them. On her face. In her hair. Everywhere. Nor was she fond of the fact that she'd just lost. To Treyen. Yeah, forget whatever she was thinking a couple weeks ago. She did mind losing to him. She used her muddy hands to wipe the mud from her face. This really didn't make any difference, but she liked to think it did, and she blinked her eyes open. She wasn't going to look at Treyen at all, except perhaps to GLARE. But, her body had a different idea, and her head turned to him when he spoke. And she was....okay. Her face softened from the scowl it was wearing. Because he was filthy, too. And it was hilarious. And Ellie LAUGHED at him. "Yeah, and you're dirty." Hehehe. She took her hand and attempted to wipe off his lips. Mmmm...yeah. No kisses. The Ravenclaw turned to the captain, still sitting, and called, "Good game." And, to Treyen, "Good job." But Jacob had landed. Which kinda crushed this good mood Treyen's appearance had brought. He was looking at her and the rest of the team in a most unfriendly way and NO, Jacob. There was no way she was getting within ten feet of the Beater. Not when he was like THAT. Scary Jacob. So, Ellie was going to stay right where she was, okay? She could pretend she was stuck in the mud or something. She'd wait a few days before getting near her Captain. Maybe even weeks. |
Waaaaiiiit. Was that laughter what he was hearing? From Ellie? So, she wasn't mad at him? Because he'd totally give her the snitch, even talk to Vindictus and tell him to announce a different outcome. Speaking of outcomes...had Simon hurt himself when he crashed into the Stands? Had he hurt someone else? Treyen didn't have time to look toward the Stands because Ellie had spoken, and he was now looking at her. HA. "So are you." He still thought she looked NOT HIS HAIR. What an utter failure. He needed a shower as soon as possible. Huh? What? Good job? His eyes landed on the snitch, and then frowned again, "Do you want to keep it?" he said, taking the small ball in his hand and extending his hand only a liiiiittle bit towards her. He still had two other snitches. The first one he ever caught when Miranda was still here, and the one from the last match. But then his Captain practically squeezed him, and he blinked repeatedly at her brilliant words. Yay? Well, yes, of course. Was she aware that she also got the mud in Treyen's uniform on her? Heh. She was soon gone, though, before she could see the smile on his face. He eyed Jacob next, and what was that look on his face? He sure seemed scary, like when Kaika was angry. Pffft. Beaters. |
HMPH. She wrinkled her nose at Treyen AND stuck out her tongue. Sure, she was dirty, but she was positive he was worse off. Or she HOPED he was because...he was pretty bad. And she had more hair than him. It was going to be impossible to get the mud out. Actually...that meant she was the more unfortunate one. Cruel, this match was. Ellie'd lost and got dirtier. Fantastic. Not. Hehe. "I'm trying to make it better." And was failing. But it was the thought that counted, yeah? Of course it was. But, fine, Treyen. Ellie used the hand he'd stopped to unstick hair from her forehead before the mud dried or something. Blech. ... She blinked at the snitch. No, she really didn't want it. She didn't need it. She already had...what, three snitches? Ellie felt he should keep it. He did catch it, after all. It was his. BUT. Was this one of those things she was just supposed to accept? Like Treyen's compliments and whatnot? Oh! His captain distracted him! Good. He'd forget about the question now, right? Between the Hufflepuff Captain and then Jacob? Then, Ellie wouldn't have to answer. Not answering was safe. |
Truth be told, she looked even more pretty right there, when she stuck out her tongue at him. It was also slightly funny, which is why his smile widened. He didn't dare to tell her that, though, because he didn't know how she'll react to a comment like that given the circumstances. She looked...cute. While he looked extremely awful covered in dirt. Though, Isobel had taken a great amount with her after the hug. Ellie didn't enjoy losing, he could tell, and he'd warned her about this, but NO, she said that it was going to be fun, right? Well, he wasn't going to mention that at this moment, he'd decided in chuckling at her comment. "Certainly not." Why was there a smirk on his face? "But thank you, Ellie," for at least trying to do what he didn't think of doing in the first place. Clearly, the shock of winning had messed up with his brain. "Allow me," he said, before brushing away the strands of hair she missed. He had a better view, so, he knew she'd missed those. "Almost perfect." There was still a smile on his face. And he only said the word 'almost' because he knew that Ellie wouldn't take the 'perfect' one alone. Neither Jacob nor Isobel held his attention, it was all Ellie's now. "So, you don't want it?" he said, eyeing the snitch in his hand. He could give it to Aslan, though. Ellie didn't have to take it, by the way, she could say NO to this. "I...need to go check on Simon. See you around?" he still didn't move, but he was going to leave the Pitch very soon. |
Amy was still flying high, clinging onto her beaters bat nervously, she didn't like this role in quiditch, it was too scary, and she'd spent most of the game swooping and ducking, but then she heard the whistle WHAT SHE HADN'T DONE ANYTHING THIS T- Oooooh. They. Had. WOOOOOOON. Ohmygawsh. Like wow. She swooped back down to the floor, whooping and waving her beaters bat. But as soon as she touched down she ran over to Simon, Simon? she said, kneeling next to him. Simon, don't die you ninny |
