Fee was doing a few loopings in the air smiling to herself like a mad woman.Feeling a little dizzy the girl decided to fly straight now.But for her taste she was a little to low.Raising her broom the girl sighed happily as she felt the sensation of being so high.

The Slytherin had just closed her eyes for a second as someone almost blocked her way.Shrieking a little the girl chuckled as she saw who had crossed her way."Heeyy",she said,"oh its okay.Dont worry.I am Feenella by the way."That was pretty much how they had met two years ago.Smiiile.

Penny saw Oakey fly over to herself and Isobel..."hey lil bud, You having a good lesson ?!?!, she asked...

Oakey always looked so sure of himself on a broom, she didn't think he would need lessons - but figured maybe he just wants to make improvements on techniques or something...

Oakey grinned a huge grin You know it Oakey did a small circle around the girls. He was probably having a little to much fun.

It took Oakey a few more small laps around the girls until he realized what Penny had called him... HEY! I'm not that little. He peered around to each of the girls. It was hard to tell their heights when they were sitting on brooms but Oakey could tell Isobel and Amy were taller than he was.

just for good measure Oakey raised a few inches higher than Penny. There, Now who's the Little Buddy?

Hugo bowed a little in midair. "It's nice to meet you, Feenella," he said and smiled at her. "So how's your flight going?" he asked. He had even remembered the topics they talked about that time. Ah yes, he had such a big crush on her. Still has.

"So, Feenella, want to do a little contest?" Hugo said daringly, looking over to the hoops at the other side of the field. "Through those hoops, back to these," he said and looked at Fee wiggling his eyebrows.

Kyle couldn't help but smile as she saw that Simon was openly helping students - that was so nice of him. She thought warmly as she turned to the left ducking and arching her broom upwards she began to slowly circle the pitch. Making sure not to go to dangerously close to any of the other students trying the same exact move as her.

Peyton nodded as she carefully listened to what the guy said. She looked down at her hands and thought about loosen her hold on the broom, but decided against it when it did the wobble thing again.

Level flying?

Peyton almost bounced in excitement until she remembered where she was, so instead she gave him a bright smile. "Alright!" and he was even promising to not go fast. If she wasn't holding on the broom she would have prefered a pinky promise, but she trusted him. "Thanks..."

She didn't know his name. Oh, this was embarassing. "I'm Peyton, by the way," she said.

"Yeah, it is!" Rachel told her, she looked down and realised how high she really was, "I love flying, but I think that I'm going too high, but maybe I'm not, is this your first time flying?" she asked, Rachel loved flying even though she had never tried it before in her life, but the way the wind blew through her hair and the breeze on her face, felt like she had been doing it for forever1

Isobel flew back over to Amy for a second. "You lean forward." And will yourself to go forward. Like that muggle movie Peter Pan. You have to believe you can fly.

Isobel grinned. Yay! She had done it! Isobel gave Penny a thumbs up as she came back to her. She listened as she asked another question. "No. Slow down, and land while still on your broom. Then get off it."

The cool breeze was nice, relaxing even. She was half-way around the pitch heading into the second curve, pushing her body lower on the broom she upped her speed a small amount. It was nice, relaxing, and she wasn't going to send anyone to the hospital wing least of all herself.

Or anyone else at that matter. She was too hyper away to do that, so hyperaware that she didn't even fly into the fly that was infront of her.

Fee chuckled a little as her boyfrind bowed in front of her in midair."Its nice to meet you too,Hugo",the blonde smiled widely and felt like the little first year again.It was freaky how she seriously had a deja-vu moment."My flight is going pretty well except for the fact that you almost flew into me",the Slytherin giggled.Yeees,she remembered every single word they had said to eachother.This was probably the most important encounter of her life."So what house are you in,Hugo?"

Ohhh a little conest?As the Slytherin heard what the boy was up to a wide grin spread on her face.Of course was up to a competition."I am ready when you are",she chuckled and wiggled her eyebrows at her boyfriend.

Penny listened...then thought she'd have a go...
"So, I slow down, then land, I'm still on the broom....ok got it..

Penny flew down close to the grass, slowed right down put her two feet out and stopped. Then swinging her leg over the broom, as if to dismount...

Mounting the broom again, and kicking off, harder from the ground this time, she flew up to Isobel...

"omg, thank you soo much...this is so cool.. I've been doing it wrong for months and months..!"

Giving Isobel one of her best smiles...

Oakey flew up next to Isobel. He wanted to ask her for some pointers but he didn't know where to start. He didn't know where he could improve. Hopefully Isobel could find a fault in his flying somewhere...Could you maybe help me improve on my technique a bit too.

She pushed forward into the straight, her body relaxing with the breeze agianst her face. She loved it. Flying that is.

She made sure to stay aware and not let her eyes close as they wanted to, the wind was cold and rough against her face but she didn't mind the nipping feeling it left against her tinglingly cold skin. She loved it really. Flying and the feeling of her skin cooling as she moved against the wind.

Rosemary practised some slow swerves in and out of people, giving herself plenty of time to move accordingly till she pressed herself against her broom to go slightly faster.

Oh, righhhht Amy nodded calmly, now she'd gotten used to the woozy feeling that you got when you were high up in the air, she leaned forward ever so slightly and her broom shot forward, gott itt she squealed through the air, righting her body weight so the broom hovered in the air

Kyle was in the final stretch before the final turn - her body wasn't aching or tense as it had been when she first started flying seven years before. It was lightly relaxed, but aware. It was always aware when on a broom - but when on land she acted like some of the wobbling youngsters trying to learn how to fly right now and topple into people, things, and yeah she was worse on land than she ever had been on a broom. Kind of not what you would expect when there was less to hold onto, to feel when on a broom than there was on the ground.

Probably because she had two left feet and wasn't exactly that charming whenit came to well anything right now.

Simon smiled at the enthusiasm she showed and even her small attempt to loosen her hold before regaining it. Little steps, he mused to himself before getting back to the task at hand, his gaze looking around for the best passible route before looking back at her as she thanked him. The Slytherin introducing herself in the process making the seventh year realize they had never exchanged names before.

"Nice to meet you Peyton, I'm Simon," he returned giving another reassuring and friendly smile. "Now first we need to turn in a direction thats a little clearer to fly," he said pointing that way. "To go that way lean slightly in that direction on the broom guiding it into the turn," he instructed before doing just as he said demonstrating. The captain waited a few moments for her to try and do so before moving on.

"Now on the count of three lean forward a little over the top tip of the broom handle and the broom should move forward. Continue for as long as you want to go and try to keep your balance straight else you'll lean or turn in that direction." Simon paused for a bit after speaking to let it all sink in, knowing it could probably be a lot to take in.

"One....two...three..." he counted to give her warning, ready to move himself when she did.

Oakey looked like a kid in a sweet shop, he had a delighted look on his face...
When he flew around them in circles in kinda reminded Penny of a fly buzzing around before it got splatted..

"I didn't mean 'little' literally... ha ha your sooo funny - but it don't really matter how tall you are... your always gonna be 'lil bud' to me!", said Penny laughing...

This flying lesson was really good fun

The girl Presley had bumped into was mad. "Sorry," Pres apologized again. "Normally I don't hit people, there's just a lot of brooms in the air right now and it's hard not to collide. I'm really sorry for hitting you. If you come up a bit higher, there are less people in your way," Presley shared her idea with this girl. Presley silently kicked herself. Why, of all times would her first official flying lesson be the only time she's run into somebody else since she was four?

Wait he was going to be "Lil Bud" to her forever. You mean when he's in his 30 somethings and over 6 feet in height he was going to be "Lil Bud" to her...Oakey didn't know what to say to this. Girls are weird Oakey thought to himself. He wasn't going to press the issue either. Fine Oakey told Penny, But you'll regret it when I tower over you in a few years.

Oakey flew back and forth between the girls and his houses captain. The sky was Oakey's today.

Isobel smiled at Penny. She was glad she could help. "Glad I could help," she said with a smile to Penny. Then she turned to Oakey who had flown over to her. "Sure Oakey," she said. "What do you want help with?"

Presley spotted the head boy, and realized she'd not thanked him for the other day like she'd promised herself she would. Screwing up all of her courage, Presley flew over to him.
"Hey Finlay? Um, I wanted to thank you for not telling Hadley I'd lied to you, and tell you I'm sorry for being such a smart-aleck. I really appreciate you not selling me out." She crossed her fingers tightly, and hoped he wasn't still mad about the situation. She definitely didn't want to be on bad terms with the head boy.

Somehow, Kurumi had the feeling that it wasn't just Eino's flying horse that was new to flying. Arching an eyebrow and her friend as he continued to prance around. Not that Kurumi could blame him. This was probably the first Flying lesson where she didn't feel completely overwhelmed.

She was going to have to bake Selina about three dozen cookies for that.

"Well, good luck," she smiled at Eino before deciding that it was time for her to do more that just hover only a few feet over the ground.

Commanding her broom to go higher, Kurumi resist the urge to stop when she left her comfort zone of ten feet or so, and continued to go higher and higher - but not too high as she didn't want to crash into any protections that Professor Vindictus put up. When she was as high as she had ever gone in class, Kurumi hovered there for a while just getting used to the view. Her palms sweated at bit and she adjusted her feet in the holsters on the broom.

Well, this isn't soooooo bad...

Kurumi then looked over her shoulder at Selina who always seemed to be exuding sunshine when she was on a broom. Kurumi wasn't sure if she would ever get to that point, but she had at least stepped out of the OMG FLYING IS DEATH! train of thought.

Blushing slightly at Selina's comment, her smiled turned to a look of confusion when Selina asked if she had ever heard of....Wolly Shimmer? Kurumi wasn't even going to begin to try and repeat that.

"Selina...you DO remember who you are talking to about flying, right?" she laughed momentarily removing her hands from her broom's handle and covering her mouth to muffle her laughter.

I'm not sure I was hoping you'd notice something off with my technique Oakey scanned himself from front to the back of the broom. I know there's something off I'm just not sure what?

Harvey had left out a few things for Oakey to learn on his own. But what was it is his grip a little off, was his his footing not proper. What was it.

Kyle smiled as she entered the final stretch and slowly lowered her broom down in a small dive and then leveling out she flew straight across the pitch matching her speed so that no one would run into her and she could swivel out of anyone's way with ease.

God she enjoyed this with all of her being, all of herself. And she didn't care if she made the team if she could just fly on her own sometimes because she loved that and wanted to be able to do that whenever she felt like it. Or maybe not whenever but it would be fun!

She smiled as she saw how well everyone was doing and how people were actually helping. She turned slowly stopping in the middle of the pitch, hovering there for a minute she watched everyone flying around her and then quickly changing directions she flew up a bit more higher than she had even flown durring tryouts. And hovering there above the students practicing flying, she smiled. It was cold up so high but she liked cold, cold was good. Cold felt good when your body temperature was like that of a radiator.
