Neptune didn't bother correcting Finny that Mia apparently had been trying and couldn't muster up the energy TO be friends with Neptune. Neptune still thought her really nice, but selectively so. That didn't really make her any better than Neptune though. So whatever. Whatever, indeed.

Hmm. Knitting. Finlay laughed before carrying on with their walk, a little more slowly this time. "Sounds like something my nan would do...." Knitting. So maybe it was a good thing that Neptune didn't really like it.

He nodded, looking down waiting for her reaction. He had a feeling she might not be too happy about it. They had said that they were going to stay single.... Caroline was still pretty tired and Hungry. Seroiusly she loves pasta but after being in Italy for almost a month, That's all she ate and she was tired of it. She had only just arrived back, late last night. She was coming back down from the Seventh floor, where she had made the room of requirement a make shift dorm for herself. Not really wanting to stay in the dungeons and the password had been changed while she was gone. She'd have to find a fellow Slytherin and ask them for the password. She made her way to the kitchen where she hoped that she would run into Kita, and no one else.

Loneliness + no chocolate for a couple of hours = a mad sixth year acting weirder than usual.

And that's exactly what Kita was like before. That's why the girl had raided her dorm as soon as she came in from the freezing cold that had settled itself outside.

Now, she was walking along a corridor, completely oblivious to anything and everything around her and only concentrating on the chocolate frog she was trying to open. But for some reason, her shaking hands wouldn't cooperate with her! No matter how much she tried, they refused to stop shaking and allow her to rip open the wrapper so that she can indulge in the beauty within.

Sighing, she looked up at the corridor in front of her. If only she could find someone who was willing to open it FOR her. Maybe she would gi-

Wait... who was that?! Kita turned her head to the side and examined, yes EXAMINED, the blonde girl walking along the very same corridor. No! It can't be...

"Caroline?" IT WAS! "CAROLINE!" she squealed, running up to her best friend and jumping onto her back, "You're back! I've missed you sooooo much!"

Caroline stopped great someone had seen her. As she turned around she felt someone jump on her back. Who in the world was jumping on her back. She turned her head around and seen Kita on her back. Thank Merlin. It was who she had really wanted to see.

She smiled slighly, though you could tell that something was wrong. "Kita!" She said excitedly, but it just wasn't her. Seeing Kita did make a big difference."I missed you tooo." Having the people around that cared about was all she needed right now.

"You never do go very long without a girlfriend. I expected you to fold sooner or later." Neptune shrugged, not bothered, not surprised, but curious enough. She didn't know Fallon well, just her face really. "And you're behaving and being as kind to her as you are to me?" Hmmmm?

Finlay frowned as she pinched him. That was not nice! Not nice at all, and Neptune was just lucky that he loved her.

"You did?" Finlay laughed, appearing a lot more relaxed now. At least Neptune wasn't angry at him, that made him feel much better. "I am." He nodded, with a big smile. Finlay really liked Fallon, a big awful lot. He didn't want to ruin it. "I like her more than I've ever liked anyone else...." He admitted quietly, smiling at her. Fallon meant a lot to him.

"I mean it this time Neptune." Finlay stated, knowing it was true. He'd thought for 2 long months about getting with Fallon, he knew he was doing something good. "I am...we're going really slow." Actually he hadn't saw her for a while. It was starting to get a little worried. Finlay smiled at her. Things felt better now.

"As your friend, I want to believe you. But, as your friend, I'm wary. You know?" Neptune patted his arm and made them start walking again, "You say it's different, but how is it?" Neptune Bott, former princess and romancer turned skeptical.

"Yeah.." It kind of made him a bit upset that really his friends didn't even believe in him. That didn't sound too promising really. Finn walked along with her though. It was what he thought that mattered really. "I thought about why I wanted to be with her..." He mused, knowing it was different, but not really knowing how to descript it. "I thought about it for like 2 months, thought about Her feelings...."

Because he knew Neptune was fragile, and he wasn't going to let anyone hurt her. "It's weird..." He mused, not commenting on the other subject, mainly because he didn't L-word Fallon. Not yet anyway. "But I'm glad your worrying. It's nice to have someone worry about me..." Because his mother certainly didn't. Not that much, not as much as she worried about James.

A grin spread across Kita's face as she stowed her unopened chocolate frog back into her bag with one hand. It felt so weird to see Caroline around again; it seemed like the girl had been gone for YEARS! It's a weird thing: realising how much you miss someone only when they happen to go away for a while.

Giggling slightly, the brunette jumped off of Caroline's back and looked at her. But there was something... wrong. True, she hadn't seen her best friend for quite a while but she looked... different. Italy could not have changed her that much. "Caroline... is everything ok?" she asked, frowning slightly, "How was Naples?" That is where she went right?

Neptune shrugged at him. "With all this worrying, where is the time for fun? I demand you give me a piggy back ride! And I demand it be fun! Right now!" Giggle.

Caroline laughed, Kita was already making her feel better. Without even knowing that was going on. She smiled at her best friend as she jumped off her back. She looked down at her feet when Kita asked if everything was okay? "No, not really." She said it a quiet voice.

"But Naples was nice, really pretty." She nodded, still staring down at her feet. I t was bad enough that she cried in front of Carter over it. She didn't want Kita to see her so not like herself, sad and mopey. She liked being happy and smiley, that was the Caroline that she likedd being, and what happened in Italy wasn't helping her be her happy self. She smiled a very fake smile to Kita.

"You demand it?" Finlay smirked for a second. Oh. That was definetly his Neptune. "Go on then...." Because well he knew that she wouldn't be too happy if he had said no, not that he would really. Finn grinned at her. This would be fun at least.

Kita smiled at Caroline, glad that the girl had laughed. It seemed so weird that Caroline had been gone for so long and yet Kita still remembered everything about her. Ok, this was coming from Kita so it's hardly likely that she remembered anything at all, albeit it be about Caroline or anyone else. But one thing she did know was that Caroline was upset. Not just from the fact that she had stated it but the fact that she was looking down and the way she said it. A small frown formed on Kita's face.

Naples was nice... seriously? Was that Caroline's way of trying to divert Kita's attention and not say anything about her trip? "Well... i'm glad," she stated simply. But Caroline was still staring at her feet! Thinking quickly, Kita sat down on the floor, took out a bunch of chocolate frogs from her bag, patted the patch of floor next to her and said, "Come sit. Now... tell me EVERYTHING!" There's no way the brunette was backing out now!

Cody still didn't convince Jade. "If you say so," she told him. But yet he seemed sure of it. "Anyways..." Jade said slowly with a smile... "Have you tried anything new on the guitar?" she asked him.

Caroline looked at Kita, darn it didn't work. Gah! That girl knew her to well. She shook her head. BUT Kita had pulled at a bunch of chocolate frogs. Kita really did know her to well. She smirked. Bribbing her wasn't going to work .... okay maybe it was.

She fowned slightly and sit down beside her best friend. Sitting there for a few minutes without a word, she really didn't want to cry in front of Kita, She had just gotten done crying all over Carter in the room of requirement, just a few hours before, over this mess. She took a deep breath. NO CRYING THIS TIME CAROLINE. "Well I found him. And I have a little half brother, Asher." Don't cry, don't cry She smiled at Kita, a very fake smile. "I stayed with him for about week, I asked him about him and my mum, and he ..... " She couldn't told it in any longer. Tears rolled down her cheeks. She couldn't even finish telling her.

A hundred minutes?!

...a hundred minutes?! Really?

Anyone thinking about another human being for one hundred minutes was either insane or clearly had too much time on their hands. The bad thing was, Sierra was about to have to do that very thing. Borr had instructed them to spend a hundred minutes thinking about a proper role model. Well, he didn't say it had to be a hundred straight minutes, did he? So she'd just kind of divide it up so that she didn't go insane from so many consecutive minutes of thought.

Day one of role model thinking. It was clear who Sierra's role model was. It was Professor Lafay. Since Sierra had first heard about the woman, which was actually well before she actually met her here at Hogwarts, she decided this was the type of person she'd love to grow up to be like. Lafay was fierce, terrifying to most others, and never once backed down to anyone. Yes, boys and girls. Hecate Lafay is the perfect role model.

Fifteen minutes down.

Finding herself walking up and down the first floor corridor again, Sierra remembered having meditating, or whatever Borr was calling it, about a proper role model. So where was she? Oh, yes. She'd just thought about how it would be awesome to grow up to be the kind of woman Professor Lafay was. I mean, she already had the whole beater thing down, and what was more terrifying that a girl with a bat? Not that Sierra wanted to walk around being this terrifying bully, because she didn't. She just thought it'd be nice to have a certain degree of respect from other people like Lafay seemed to.

Thirty minutes down--total.

Blahhh. Same corridor. Why was she here again? Oh, yeah. History of Magic class. Hmm. She was also on the first floor corridor again, which reminded her to put in some more thought about a proper role model. Okay, she was starting to feel weird putting in a hundred total minutes thought about Professor Lafay. I mean, Lafay was awesome and all, but...a hundred minutes? Blahhh. Whatever. Maybe if she skipped a few minutes here and there, Borr would never notice. Alright, so what else could she think about in regards to Lafay being a proper role model? Ahh, yes. She actually melted someone's hands off once--their hands!!! Sure, it was a terrifying for the Gryffindor boy, but Sierra just bet he'd never disobey her again! Well, it was Josh, so who knew. He likely would. Anyway, people feared Lafay, but they also respected her, too, and that's what Sierra really liked. She didn't like the idea of being just terrifying and having everyone hate you.

Dear Merlin! Had she really been walking and thinking for a thirty minutes?! Well, at least that was a full hour of thought done. All she needed was another forty minutes of meditation.

Forty minutes. She could do this. She'd come to the first floor corridor with one goal in mind--to get this over and done with today! Now, Lafay. What else she possibly think about? She'd already put in a full hour of thought! Okay, okay. She had one. Lafay was pretty. All the boys seemed to gush over her, and no one ever gushed over Sierra. Sure, she was only a brand new thirteen-year-old, and she'd probably think gushing was ridiculous, but the fact remained that boys in general just thought Lafay was the greatest. She knew how to put make-up on, too, which Sierra was still really learning how to do. Okay, so how could she wrap this all up? Lafay was terrifying, yet got respect; melted people's hands off; was pretty; boys gushed over her; and she knew how to put make-up on. Yup. A proper role model.

...and there you have it. A hundred minutes of thought on a proper role model.

Sierra left the corridor, glad that part of the assignment was behind her.

Cody smile at Jade. "Not really. I haven't had the time too", he answered with a smile. He really wanted to but these days he was just sitting under a pile of homework that he needed to do.
