Faith walked around the corridor, trying to find her way out into the beautiful sunlight. She had her favorite book in her hand as she walked. Getting lost seemed to be a specialty of hers at Hogwart's. There were so many hallways and doors and such.

As Zara reached the first floor all the way from the seventh in the Gryffindor common room, she saw a girl, almost her age that seemed lost. "Hey there," she greeted and added, "I'm Zara. Danielle Zara Griffiths. You seem...erm...lost? Need help?" She offered, and smiled at the girl.

"Kinda," Faith said. "I'm afraid I don't know my way around here very well." She laughed and looked around. "It really is a shame. I grew up in a palace and I can't even find my way around a corridor."

"That's okay. Don't be ashamed," she comforted, "Last night after the feast, I almost stumbled into a cupboard." Zara giggled, she was so eager that night to get in the common room and fall asleep that she didn't pay attention to where she was going and got lost. She was lucky someone came by and showed her the way.

"Where are you going anyways? Maybe I could help you, even though I'm new here too," Zara said and added, "Oh well, we could get lost together." And she laughed.

"That sounds interesting." Faith laughed. "I don't really know where I'm trying to go. Just exploring really. I thought it would be nice to find my way outside and around the grounds." She explained. "So, where are you from?"

"Ohh. Okay, if that's what you want. You mind if I accompany you, right? All my other friends are still in the common room." Zara said. "Me? I'm from Godric's Hollow. Well, the Muggle area of Godric's Hollow. All my neighbors near our home are Muggles."

"I don't mind at all." Faith said. "And that's cool. I've known quite a few muggles myself."

"That's great. Where do you wanna go? This place is too big I can't even decide which one to explore first." Zara chuckled. "I haven't met any Muggles yet. I wasn't allowed to go outside. My parents were scared that I would accidentally discover that I was magical in front of them and they'd get scared of me and call me names. Actually, this is my first time meeting other people. I never got to meet wizards and witches back at home too." She explained.

Faith found her story slightly saddening. "Um, I don't know." She said honestly.

"Oh, okay then." Zara grabbed her by the arm. "Let's go where our feet take us." She grinned and they walked together.

Bright purple and neon green highlights in her brown hair. How AWESOME is that? Bridget, with her blonde locks, wouldn't be able to pull this look off. HA. There's one good thing about this school she could brag about. It was unfair that Idge's place was so cool and she was stuck in this hellhole. Seriously, there were professors here who expected her to BALLROOM DANCE. What was up with that?!

Ever since she'd held herself back in that bathroom with the midget, Di Marco had been itching to cause some trouble but there was just something about this castle that made her uneasy. Blowing a hole or graffiti-ing the place just didn't cut it, and bullying... Well, she's kind of promised not to. Oh, what the heck. Since when does she ever keep her promises to be a better child? Seriously. Aunt Lea and Father were deluding themselves. All they had to do was ask Idge and she'd tell them that she was a lost cause.

Taking out her wand, the brunette calmly twirled in her hand as she leaned against the wall and silently pondered what to do next. She certainly wasn't going to go to any lessons. Did teachers patrol out here? She ran a small, white finger down the cold wall and willed an idea to come to her.

Sophie walked up a level from the great hall to take the long way back to the common room. Today she had a small lion diadem in her brown hair and her traditional Gryffindor school robes and her badge. The talk in the hall had mostly been centered around the mysterious ship and the resent DADA announcement from Lord Borr which lead the 16 year old to think that they wouldn't be getting any proper DADA lesson during the term unless Headmster Tate suddenly changed his mind. To get fit was all well and good Sophie agreed but it would do you no good if you were to face a foe which you didn't know how to defend yourself against.

Walking along the first floor corridor she passed a slightly younger girl that was leaning against a wall. Sophie had almost made it to the next staircase went she turned and headed back to the girl. Shooting her a sunny smile she said "Hi! Why are you playing with your wand?" the wand twirling she had only noticed.

Ooh, a person. As quickly as possible Di Marco wiped the mischievous look off her face and replaced it with a not-as-sulky-as-usual look, seeing as there was something on the girl's chest that resembled something like a badge. Ryden Di Marco got caught only when she WANTED to get caught. Not under any other circumstances. Raising her eyebrows, she she cocked her head to the side as she girl turned back to her and listened attentively to the question.

... What kind of question is that? Pfff. So much for prefects around here. She opened her mouth to answer, and was suddenly angry. Why should SHE have to explain herself to some prefect? SHE never wanted to come here, she was FORCED against her will so WHY did she have to abide by their laws? Hmpf. There was probably some child law against that. "None of you business, prefect," Di Marco answered irritably, not particularly caring if she was rude or not. Because what was the worst they could do? Expel her? Fantastic. It's exactly what she wanted.

Sophie was in her full right to question what another student was doing in a deserted corridor playing around with their wand on a perfectly good and sunny day outside. For all she knew the person could be up to something fishy which she was there to prevent. It was partly the reason why Hogwarts had prefects in the first place. The other girl clad in claw house colours was seemingly a few years younger. Maybe she had no idea what a prefect’s did? She could be a transfer for all Sophie knew. Many started at the beginning of every new term.

Cocking her brown head to the side Sophie responded calmly "I have a name other than prefect which is Sophie. I’d like you to use that. And cut the attitude out." Pausing to lean against the wall behind her the brunette waited for a minute or so and then asked curiously [b["Why aren’t you outside, soaking in the last of the sun before winter gets here?"[/b]

Di Marco blinked. The girl didn't even seem upset. A little miffed, for sure, but not as upset as she'd have liked her to be. Hmm... Maybe she'd had one too many calming droughts in potions? Anyhow, Di Marco didn't particularly care what the prefect's name was - even if it happened to be Sophie. And she would NOT order her about; the prefect wasn't even a RAVENCLAW.

"Huh," was all she replied, and when the Gryffindor prefect - red was Gryffindor, right? - asked her another question, she rolled her eyes. "I don't like ants," Di Marco said, still miffed at how everything was completely upside down here. It was SUMMER back home now...

Bleh.

"I don't like ants," Of all the things the Ravenclaw girl could have answered this was the last thing Sophie expected. Curious since she didn't have any trouble with ant's herself and actually saw them as intelligent creatures she asked "Why don't you like ants?" The younger girl hadn't really answered her question but Sophie let it pass. Instead she asked "In what year are you?"

It was a small experiment to see if the Ravenclaw girl would soften or remain with the same attitude. The lioness prefect had a feeling that the colour of her robes had something to do with the reason why the other girl was acting like she was acting.

... So it WAS true, the stereotype about Gryffindor. Other than the legendary Hermione Granger Weasley, all the lions were exceptionally thick. WHY didn't she like ants? Who WOULD like ants? Creepy, crawling creatures. "They're gross," was all she replied, and to the Prefect's next question tried not to roll her eyes. Was it Question A Ravenclaw day today? What were all these questions for? She hadn't broken any rules. Yet.

"Fourth," Di Marco replied, more than a little irked. The coffee this morning hadn't been strong enough - she was even more annoyed at everything than she usually was. If Idge was here, she'd tell this Prefect that now would be a good time to back off. Her hand tightened its grip on her wand and she waited.

Could she be expelled for harming a Prefect? ... Hold old was this girl anyway?

What was it with her and rubbing other student's especially girl's the wrong way. First that red head who had been yelling at the top of her lungs in the Common Room and now this Ravenclaw 4th year. Sophie silently wondered if the big man in the heavens were trying to teach er some kind of life lesson and the lioness prefect wasn't getting it. Understanding the girl's view she commented "That is how most people see ants yes but they are actually intelligent creatures who do their bit in the natural cycle of life in a eco system. Just like we do."

It didn't cross Sophie's mind till after that the Ravenclaw may not me interested in learning why an ant was important or what an eco system was. Oh well it was said done and she couldn't exactly take it back. "I'm a sixth year." she informed the younger girl wondering if that would have any effect on what happened next. Sophie was oblivious to the fact that the girl had tightened the grip on her wand.

o_O This was a Hogwarts trait, clearly. Giving people more information than they wanted. First that NessaMay character and now the Prefect. You'd think, with all the reputation Hogwarts had, that its students could tell when to give information and when not to. Only Kyle, up until now, had been clever with her info.

Perhaps only Ravenclaws were normal... Although she did like the sound of those Slytherins. She'd yet to encounter a snake one on one though. "Only, unlike us, they are not able to build empires and battle with wands and make intelligent decisions on the future of the world. They build their homes and collect food," she replied, for some reason determined to outsmart this so called Prefect.

Pfft. Sixth year. She could take a sixth year, couldn’t she? Ye- HOLD ON. How did the girl know that she was wondering her age? Did they teach Legilimency here? Was that even legal? O_O Di Marco blinked, then composed herself. FINE - she'd learn Occulemncy. How hard could it be? Eying the Prefect, she remained silent. She didn't want the girl to KNOW that she knew her secret.

Arabella-Marie wandered along the first floor corridor and stopped and leaned against the wall she was wanting to cause some trouble but she needed somebody to cause trouble with she didnt want to do it alone

Ellie adjusted the strap of her book bag onto her shoulder as she made her way down the corridor. She was about to pass a younger girl when she stopped. Hm, she looked bored. "Hey, I think we met last year... And you look a little bored." She said to her with a little laugh.

Arabella-Marie looked at the girl and said "Yeah i think we did and yeah i am bored i want to have some fun"

Cody walked along the corridor. He was just coming out from classes with a small stack of books. He had felt so tired that he didn't want to do any work.

Ellie sighed and leaned up against the wall next to her. "Hmm... What sounds fun on a November day?" She asked her. Maybe they could do something together then, since Ellie was bored too.
