Default Divination 2

Upon entering the Divination classroom, the scents of what seems like thousands of flowers assails the senses, and looking around, it seems like the classroom has been overtaken by a florist's shop. Even though the tables from the last lesson are still present, they're surrounded by containers of flowers, and several vases are scattered around as well. Obviously all these flowers had to be transported to Hogwarts from elsewhere, as the weather outside makes it highly unlikely they came from the grounds. Either way, it presents an oddly charming yet unsettling appearance to the classroom, something almost entirely different from the tensions that had been occurring outside, around the castle.

At the front of the classroom, leaning against her usual table, stands Professor Bishop, idly fidgeting with a long-stemmed white rose and looking a bit lost in thought, although she's actually aware of everyone who walks in. Either way, a message on the board states "Make yourselves comfortable, and class will begin shortly."

ooc: Sorry I didn't get this posted earlier, time got away from me and I wasn't able to get online earlier. :/ But feel free to post your entrance, etc., and I'll start the lesson in hopefully around twelve hours. ^.^ Keep the rules in mind regarding chatting, though.

A ship in harbor is safe — but that is not what ships are built for.

Class over! Already?

Savannah copied the homework down on to her notebook...ugh. More homework. The lesson wasn't bad, not bad at all. Just looking at the flowers instead of smelling some terrible-smelling-tea. Savannah really did enjoy the flowers and the translations. She thought they were really interesting.

The third year gathered all her things and walked toward the door. "Good bye professor." Savannah shouted on her way out.

Kurumi swallowed and silently groaned to herself about the assignment they had been given. She had to give flowers to someone? A few people immediately jumped into her brain, but she knew she didn’t have the courage to give flowers to them. It was far too direct and awkward just thinking about it.

P-Professor Bishop…” Kurumi said as she slowly began gathering her things. “Do we have to give these flowers to someone at Hogwarts, or can we owl them to someone?

If she could do that, she knew of a certain Daily Prophet news reporter who would very much appreciate the gesture.

Default Mostly for Katherine/Kurumi (even though it seems IC she's answered her own question)
Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict

The few surprised reactions to her letting them go without another discussion amused Renée quite a bit, even as she still felt the discussion wasn't really needed. Besides, her office was always open if people truly had questions. She smiled at those who had said goodbye to her before heading off to other clesses or things, giving a bit brighter of a smile to Nika as the little Gryffindor had thanked her yet again. "You're welcome Nika," she replied, before going back to her silent goodbyes to the others. There really wasn't much need to physically return the words, as long as they actually meant them. Smiles could say a lot, and not just to her that had more insight into the thoughts behind them.

Starting to gather her things together, the bouquets and her rose mostly, she turned a bit of a curious expression toward Kurumi as the Gryffindor addressed her. At least it had seemed Selina had gotten through this lesson alright, so the girl must have another question or concern. Which was quickly revealed, and she gave Kurumi a gentle smile. "Well, I can't say the flowers would withstand too much owling," without a certain number of charms she had a strong feeling another one of the girl's professors knew quite well, "so someone in the castle would be preferable. However, you're welcome to take a few more to send to whomever you like, outside of the assignment," she replied. Flowers didn't always mean romantic things, just as giving them didn't have to. Not the way she intended the assignment, at least.
