Upon entering the Divination classroom, it seems the decor has been changed back to the way it had been set up for the tasseomancy lesson the previous term, or at least similar. Instead of desks, there are quite a few small round wooden tables arranged around the classroom, still leaving room between to walk, even if the chairs are pulled out. Four chairs sit around each table, but other than that there is nothing much to show what the topic that is going to be discussed is. Even the bookshelves along the wall are covered by a drape of colorful fabric, which at least lends some excitement to the room, and is made even brighter by the sunlight streaming in from open windows.
The only curious thing in the room would probably be the crystal ball close by Professor Bishop's elbow, seemingly ignored by her as she is idly focused on the Tarot cards she has arranged on the table in front of her. Is that part of the lesson, or just decoration?
ooc: The lesson will start no later than at some time midday tomorrow (PST), but feel free to post yourselves entering, etc. Curiosity is entirely welcome, as to what Professor Bishop is doing or anything else, but try not to involve yourselves in too much chatting amongst yourselves. I'll be checking in again later tonight, to reply if necessary.
Relaxing herself again by a quick glance at her cards, Renée looked up again at the sound of someone rushing into the classroom. Nobody was late quite yet, but she had to admit the idea anyone would worry was oddly flattering. She smiled as she saw it was Kurumi, though. “Good day, Kurumi,” she replied, noticing the discreet eyeing of her cards. “Just something to pass the time,” she continued. She usually tried not to repeat her lessons, even though she had to admit she had her preferences. And the Tarot was definitely one of those. She grinned as the Gryffindor continued speaking, however. “I can assure you that we both are doing quite well. Settling in again. I’m sure Anastasia would enjoy a visit, though,” she added. The fascination with her phoenix was understandable. ooc: I have to go to bed, as it’s 3 am. But I will finish off the replies in this post once I wake up again (the ones in this last textcut), and pick up all the new ones as well in another post. And start the lesson, most likely.
Nessie walked into class nervously. "Hello Proffessor" she said. "How are you?" Nessie smiled then went to pick a seat. She saw Zara , but she was sitting at a full table. She couldn't really see any one else. She walked to get a better look. Then she saw Trey and Mia, she wasn't sure if they'd want her to sit there as they probably wouldn't want to sit with first years, but she didn't see anywhere better.

"Hello Professor." Mia called out cheerily as she made her way into the room and almost ran into the Huffie Prefect who seemed to be having problems finding a seat. "Oh for Merlin's sake Trey. There is a seat right there." she said before grabbing him by the arm and pulling him over to the middle of the room where two vacant chairs sat.
"You don't mind sitting next to me, do you?" She gave him a sweet smile. Of course he didn't. She patted the chair. Sit down Treyen.

The first thing he noticed when he entered was...first, no books, and secondly, a crystal ball next to Bishop. His eyes were entirely focused on that crystal ball. It brought him good memories of Nolan too. "Good day Professor!" he greeted, with a wide smile, and moved along to find a seat.
Somewhere. Anywhere.
"Um.. Hey Trey, Hey Mia! Mind If I sit?" asked Ness smiling. She hoped the prefect and the 6th year wouldn't mind.
After their continued talks in her office, Renée was happy to see Selina still coming to her classes. The idea of opening herself up had to have been both terrifying and oddly intriguing, but she certainly was happy to see the Gryffindor. The girl had seemed to relax upon fully entering the classroom, at least, which was promising. “Good day, Selina,” she replied with a smile, as she was approached, folding her hands on the table near the Tarot cards still laid out. Eventually she would need to gather them up, but she still figured there was a bit of time before she’d need to start the lesson. “I’m glad to hear that, and I hope I can manage to live up to your expectations,” she said, silently letting her know she’d understood the underlying message. There was no need to be more open about it, not if she wasn’t comfortable.
Selina smiled at Professor. She was glad that someone one, especially a Professor, would extend themselves to help someone like Selina. Not that she deserved their help at all. She was a freak show, "Thank you ma'am. And you always met expectation, even surpass it."

She didn't have a way to control it. It came whenever it wanted to and left just the same.
"Of course," she said softly.
"Thanks Kurumi." Kurumi really didn't understand what that meant to her. To have a friend who understood her struggle was amazing.
Olivia finally made it up all of the stairs, though she was huffing a little. She was certainly going to have to get used to walking through such a large building all day long. Pushing her hair out of her face-- she had started to sweat just slightly, making her wrinkle her nose as well-- Olivia looked around the room.
The classroom was quite different than most, but Olivia did not mind. She wasn't particularly thrilled about Divination, however, but she figured that it would be foolish to judge the worth of any type of magic without seeing it for herself first. And so, despite her misgivings, Olivia had decided to give Divination a try.
After greeting the professor, Olivia finally spotted a familiar face and smiled before making her way over to Luna. "Luna! Hi," she greeted happily. She'd seen Luna in all of her classes, but they hadn't actually been able to sit with each other since Potions, which wasn't exactly a class that invited socialization anyway. "What do you think about classes so far?"
''Oh hi Olivia want to sit classes are great I think divination might be intresting'' said Luna with a smile now taking her textbook

Rosemary spied through the door before entering in and finding Ariadne, she perched next to her. She was.... Intrigued about Divination but like her Great-Grandmother thought it was woolly but she'll give it a go.
Simon had been sat there looking at his favorate Professor, He hadn't been paying much attention, he didn't know if the lesson had started or what all he knew was Professor Bishop was his favorate Professor by miles, he suddenly remembered that he was in class and so looked around to see if any of his friends where there, he saw a few but since this was a class he didn't say anything he just turned back to Professor Bishop and waited for her to speak.

Olivia smiled back. "Sure. Thanks," she replied before sitting and taking out her books and a quill. "I think so too, I just have to wonder how... reliable it is. Especially teaching it to everyone. I mean, it's really rare to see anything, and I've heard it has to be in your blood." Basically, Olivia was trying to say as nicely as possible that though she too was curious enough to come, she wouldn't be surprised it it turned out to be a huge waste of time. For her at least.

He was also really, nice. Kyle smiled over to Simon, she did notice he looked a little awkward but still smiled.
"So how are try outs going?" She asked with a smile.
Simon smiled as the professor returned his greeting before being brought back to the current conversation as Kyle started introductions for the one girl's sake. "Nice to meet you, Zara," he said with a polite smile towards her, unconsciously echoing what the Ravenclaw said just moments before. His gaze passing to his fellow seventh year when she asked about quidditch.
"Pretty well..." he answered simply. "Only had one so far so hopefully the rest will go the same way," he added with a one armed shrug as he retrieved a roll of parchment and quill for any notes he could take when the class began.

:: Ganymede paused at the door and nodded at the Professor. Then she scanned the room for an open seat.
Taking a few steps forward she hoped someone would invite her over. She was sure they didn't know of her reputation yet. She flashed her best smile just to secure the friendliness factor she was using that day.
"Excuse me, any seats not taken yet?" She added to a group nearby.::

Charlie ran into the classroom, scared that she was late and gasping heavily. "Good day Professor," she said, still out of breath. She would need to start going to bed earlier as she was sleeping in. Charlie had thought about skipping this class but wanted to see if she could read the future so persuaded herself to come. Walking past the teacher's desk, she saw William sitting with some other Gryffindors. With a sinking feeling, Charlie walked past him. She would sit next to him eventually. Smiling soon though, she saw her friends Luna and Olivia, she sat down and grinned, "Hi guys, do you think you'll be good at this?"

Alex actually thought Divination was pretty interesting, not as fun as Quidditch obviously but alright mainly because he wouldn't be forced to work with loads of numbers, therefor he came into the classroom with a curious smile. Seeing the professor he flashed her a grin as he walked up to an empty seat.
"Good day professor." he said with a small incline of his head. Bring it on Divination...
Something had seemed to have flustered Treyen as the Hufflepuff had entered her classroom, but Renée simply sent him a smile. It was probably something little, as she knew by now that he would say something if it was important. At least, she knew that now. It seemed he’d gotten distracted by her new little decoration for now, and she bit back a grin. That was going to be the fun part of her lesson, once everyone realized that wasn’t the whole topic. “Good day to you too, Treyen,” she replied with a nod, as he made his way to a seat. Yes, this lesson was going to be fun. She hoped so, at least.
The Hufflepuff boy nodded at her reply, and kept on making his way between some tables. Or rather...he didn't, because he was pushed by Mia.
So much for having a badge, no? Zero respect, apparently.

He didn't fight it, though, he allowed Mia to take him whichever table she had already in mind. But, seriously? The one riiiight in the middle. Ha. That was cool.
Then why was he standing there like a fool?
Treyen chuckled as he eyed Mia, "No, of course not," he said, before taking a seat next to her. The one she'd instructed, by the way. It seemed he'll have little to do in this lesson, right?

Nika nodded her head rapidly. Right. Breathe. Got it. That's important. She took a giant breath and began to laugh a bit as well. "I'm sure you will! You're lessons are always so much fun!" Especially the marshmallow one. Well maybe the marshmallows weren't the main focus of the lesson, but for Nika they sure were a major bit. "Well I guess I'll go sit down Professor." Looking around her to see if she knows anyone... and spots Penny sitting by the front of class..walking over to her she stumbles over a bag left carelessly in the aisle....Red in the face, she glances around the room hoping that her trip went un-noticed....
Thankfully no-one had seen, she took a deep breath to compose herself and fixed her hair and continued towards Penny...

She offered Rose the seat next to her which was empty...."How come your taking Divination? I didn't think it was 'your thing'..your just in time, class is gonna be starting soon".
Talon Ebony walked into the classroom and sighed. He really didn't care much for this subject at all. It was a lot more like guesswork that actual knowledge. And he heard that it was kind of random. All this time, and people still didn't know where prophecies came from. He sat by a table.

She then entered the room through the ladder and saw the professor. The professor looked quite busy, looking at...were those tarot cards? Nevertheless, she thought it was polite to at least say hello and let the professor know of her presence in the class. "G-Good day professor." she said and then turned to find herself a seat.
She looked around. WHERE TO SIT? "oh, this spot looks good..." she said and walked towards the nearby empty table and prepared her things needed for the lesson, hoping to do well.
Flipping the top card from her deck over idly, just to appease her curiosity, Renée glanced at it quickly before returning her attention to the classroom as it continued filling up. Interest was always good, and useful. "Good day to you as well, Heather," she responded as the Gryffindor girl as she'd looked for a seat. She'd picked up on a little bit of frustration, but wasn't about to question it. Concern was something she always felt, but the girl was getting herself past the feeling anyhow and preparing for the lesson. Therefore, she could go back to gathering her own thoughts, preparing herself for the lesson.

Although it was still there as he tried to catch his breath, and she shook her head slightly in response to his question before Heather answered it for her. “No, it hasn’t quite started yet, and please do,” she did reply, before giving him a gentle smile. “Make yourself comfortable, Daichi, and I’ll start the lesson soon.” He seemed to be catching his breath finally, at least. People didn’t need to rush to her lesson, as far as she was concerned.

The next arrival certainly didn’t seem to have been rushing, nor really concerned as to what they might be learning. One of those was a good thing, as there truly was no need to rush, but the other was troublesome. Renée gave the girl a friendly smile, tinged by the tiniest bit of concern, though. “Hello K-Lee,” she replied, having noted the Slytherin’s physical appearance. That was never good, and she silently tried to ask her if she was okay, with a look. She didn’t want to embarrass her by actually pointing anything out, if K-Lee was trying to keep things to herself. That didn’t stop her from hoping she was alright.

Anyway... Divination.
Jamie had no idea what to expect from this class, but his mind was kept open. "Morning, Professor." He said brightly when he finally had himself sorted.
An amused smile crept onto Renée’s face as she saw the next student slide inside the door like he was in a Muggle movie or something. That was always an interesting entrance, but as she watched, he had to struggle to regain his balance. There was always a downside to dramatic arrivals, as she knew. “Hello, Mr. Keaton,” she replied once he had managed to gather himself together. “Why don’t you find yourself a seat and we’ll get things started soon,” she suggested. Preferably not in some possibly dangerous way, even though those were still rather amusing. They weren’t for the classroom, though.

It seemed not everyone was concerned about being late, or making an entrance, and Renée smiled at the little first year as she walked into the classroom. There was definitely excitement there, but it was controlled somehow. Impressive. “Hello Miss Marchbanks,” she replied, watching as the girl made her way to a seat. Politeness was always a good starting point, especially until she could definitively learn everyone’s name. She had a feeling that wouldn’t be difficult with this Gryffindor, as she caught the interest in the crystal ball. Revealing its purpose was going to be interesting, but she understood why it had gotten the attention.

Renée nodded to herself as yet another Gryffindor first year trailed into the classroom. The faintest curiosity about if the first year interest was skewed toward that house flickered through her mind, but she didn’t betray her thoughts one bit as she smiled at the girl. She’d done her homework, it seemed, at least when it came to learning the professors’ names. “Hello Miss Adler,” she replied, idly wondering if this girl was related to the other enthusiastic Gryffindor she knew. That was neither here nor there, though, and she glanced around the room again to see how many seats were left open by now. Still quite a few, so she’d wait a bit longer to start.

Another nervous student had apparently decided to enter, and Renée had to wonder if it was the subject or if the Aparecium parchment’s messages from last term were still in people’s minds. That had been amusing to her, but there was always the possibility it could have influenced people. She smiled at the new Hufflepuff Quidditch Captain, though. “Hello, Isobel,” she replied. “Just relax for a little bit and I’ll get things moving soon.” Probably once some more of the seats had been filled, even if that wasn’t really important. ”Hello Renesmee,” Renée replied with a smile, as the Hufflepuff made her way into the classroom. “I’m doing quite well.” It was curious, how certain students seemed to feel the need to ask, but she wasn’t about to dismiss the question unanswered. Not when essentially, she was perfectly fine. It was just not exactly related to the lesson at hand, so it threw her a little. As did the fact it seemed like the empty seats were starting to get harder to find, which made her think about getting her wand ready to summon some more chairs. It wasn’t quite necessary yet, though, as she watched the girl find a seat with Treyen and Mia.

Charlie had found a seat, so she could concentrate on everyone else for now.

That seemed to be good timing, as Renée turned to look at the door as yet another girl came racing in. “Hello, Amy,” she replied calmly, acknowledging the apology and giving the Hufflepuff a smile as the girl fell into a seat. “Not quite late yet, but that was cutting it close. Apparently there was even more curiosity than she’d expected there, and she raised an eyebrow questioningly as the repeated questioning and apologetic aspect of the girl’s words. “It’s okay,” she assured her. “Class will be starting in a few moments.” Hopefully she could gather herself together before then.

It seemed curiosity had made way for a bit of a challenge, but she knew what she planned should be up for that. It definitely had mysterious aspects to it, which should entertain people and make them think. Of course, most of the topics she could think of would likely be the same way, but for now she needed to settle things down and get the lesson started.
Slipping the deck of Tarot cards into her pocket for safekeeping, Renée looped around her table to stand in front of it as she sent the entire class another smile. “Okay, I think there’re enough of us here to start,” she began, waiting for the little conversations to die down as people started trying to focus. That would hopefully not take long, as she turned and picked up the crystal ball off the table behind her carefully before returning her attention to the class to hold it up so they could all see it better. “What is the first thing that comes to mind when you see this?,” she asked, before grinning a little as she looked at the glass herself. “I’m not going to bother asking if you even know what this is, but if that factors into your thoughts, I don’t mind.” She just had to hope the ideas weren’t too crazy, because she didn’t want to get distracted and drop the crystal ball. She didn’t have half as many of those as she did her Tarot cards, so replacements wouldn’t be as available.
ooc: Okay. Class has started, so anyone who hasn’t “entered” yet should just pretend they’ve been here all along. Get as creative as you like with answers, but as usual, try to limit yourself to only one or two ideas so everyone can try to participate. And no copying from Google/Wikipedia/etc., as usual. Use your own words, as I will know if you don’t.

Penny saw Rose come into the room.."OMG are you ok, that was a nasty trip you just had...wow, haven't seen you in ages....I'm good thanks. How are you?"
She offered Rose the seat next to her which was empty...."How come your taking Divination? I didn't think it was 'your thing'..your just in time, class is gonna be starting soon".
Glad of the offer Rose took the seat offered to her by Penny " oh my gawd i know..i didn't think anyone saw that!!"
Unsure of what Penny meant by 'your thing' Rose replied "you'd be surprised what i'm into.....plus with the pranks i pull it can't hurt to know what's coming my way!...i'll take any advantage i can get"
Quite pleased with her own wit...Rose asked "so why are you taking Divination?"
Realising class was starting soon Rose lifted her bag onto the table and loudly rummaged around inside hoping she hadn't forgotten anything....finally finding her ink, quill and parchment she sighed in relief as she put them on the table.
