Upon entering the Divination classroom, it seems the decor has been changed back to the way it had been set up for the tasseomancy lesson the previous term, or at least similar. Instead of desks, there are quite a few small round wooden tables arranged around the classroom, still leaving room between to walk, even if the chairs are pulled out. Four chairs sit around each table, but other than that there is nothing much to show what the topic that is going to be discussed is. Even the bookshelves along the wall are covered by a drape of colorful fabric, which at least lends some excitement to the room, and is made even brighter by the sunlight streaming in from open windows.
The only curious thing in the room would probably be the crystal ball close by Professor Bishop's elbow, seemingly ignored by her as she is idly focused on the Tarot cards she has arranged on the table in front of her. Is that part of the lesson, or just decoration?
ooc: The lesson will start no later than at some time midday tomorrow (PST), but feel free to post yourselves entering, etc. Curiosity is entirely welcome, as to what Professor Bishop is doing or anything else, but try not to involve yourselves in too much chatting amongst yourselves. I'll be checking in again later tonight, to reply if necessary.

As Rebecca entered the classroom, she wondered why the room was set up the way it was. "Hello Professor Bishop," she said as she found a seat in the front of the classroom. "I wonder what we're going to be learning about today..." she thought as she took her seat.

Nika skipped into the classroom happily. This is the one class that she was actually looking forward to. She took a good look at the classroom upon entering and noticed that it hadn't changed much since their third lesson. Good. Nika liked the round tables.
She skipped up to professor Bishop to say a quick hello before class started. Maybe she would be happy now that Nika isn't interrupting her food time hehe. "Hello Professor! I'm so excited! I've been looking forward to attending divination ever since the holiday started!" She said nodding her head eagerly.

"Hi Nika! I can't wait for the lesson to start, you?" Ariana motioned for Nika to come sit at the same table as her and Samira. The beginning of the Hogwarts year was so much fun, all the beginnings of classes and such.

Jordan was waiting in the common room when he thought of extra classes to take this term. Divination sounded interesting. "What if I could tell the future? Yeah, that'd be interesting." Jordan thought to himself. After a long walk up to the Divination classroom, he saw that the classroom was full of rounded tables, rather than the standard squared desks. He thought it was a littler weird, the setup of the classroom, but he lived with it, and hoped to enjoy it.
He saw a empty table and chose a seat were he would be facing everyone in his classes. This was to see if any of his House mates, were in his, or attending Divination class.
Treyen didn't mind all those stairs, and steps, and floors, and anything. However, it had taken him longer to get there, thanks to missing one of the moving staircases. Nice.
The first thing he noticed when he entered was...first, no books, and secondly, a crystal ball next to Bishop. His eyes were entirely focused on that crystal ball. It brought him good memories of Nolan too. "Good day Professor!" he greeted, with a wide smile, and moved along to find a seat.
Caroline Seriously hated walking from the Dungeons to the Seventh floor, it was such a long painful, if she was carrying books that far. Why could she not just fly to class? Now that would be fun. No one would ever be late to class and everyone would want to come because they could just fly there. Maybe she had just been thinking about quidditch too much.
Anyway Divination mode time. She walked into the classroom and noticed not desk but round tables with four chairs scattered around the classroom. She eyed the crystal ball closely. "Hello Professor Bishop!" She said with a smile.
SPOILER!!: Kyle and Simon :D
After saying hello to the professor she looked around for a seat there where already some people in the class seated. Then she found her friend Kyle already seated. Simon was still standing. She walked over beside of Simon and ask the both of them. "Got room for one more?" She grinned.
Can i sit with you guys i haven't talk to you in forever.I really miss talking to my older cousins.I haven't meet your guys boyfriends yet.I'm single at the moment.
Simon entered the divination classroom hesitantly, having been debating if he should continue with the subject or not seeing as he didn't really need it. However his curiousity over things made him at least want to try out the first class much like he had last term. "Good day professor," he greeted politely before looking around the room. Seeing the set up of the room he didn't know what to expect but tried to find a familiar face or two with whom to work with and he smiled upon spotting Kyle already there.
"Mind if I sit with you?" he asked as the captain made his way over to the table where she sat.

As she made her way, she passed Professor Bishop and greeted a, "Good morning, Professor Bishop!" and a cheery smile.
Then she decided to walk over and make new friends, so she walked towards the table where a girl sat, and was soon accompanied by a guy. "Hi. Is it okay if I take this seat?"

Kyle looked up when Simon walked over, he was asking her to sit next to him? Gasp. Well, she didn't really gasp not outwardly, it was inward. Instead, she smiled.
"Mm" she squeaked slightly, "I mean sure" she chuckled, feeling her own cheeks flush slightly at the sudden lack of words.
Then, another girl walked over, asking if she could sit there - she was a little younger and Kyle recognized her from the Tree house. She hadn't officially exchanged names yet, or anything but yeah, she'd be okay with her sitting there. "Sure yeah, take a seat" she smiled. "I'm Kyle" she added with a smile.
And another - Caroline, seeing her made her smile. "Yeah c'mon its alright you can all have a seat" she smiled. She quickly glanced over to Caroline raising one eyebrow slightly they would probably have an interesting class today. Hopefully she wouldn't break anything out of nerves. Act calm. Act collected. Act like you aren't nervous.
And then her other cousin Hannah was there - this was going to be one BIG table. Maybe they'd have to expand it? She thought with a chuckle. "Sure why not take a seat next to - i'm sorry I don't know your name yet" she chuckled, smiling over to Zara after all they'd hardly even met.

Kyle. Her name was Kyle. Brilliant, though Zara'd always thought of it well-fitted for a guy. Hmm. Still, it was awesome. "Nice to meet you Kyle." Zara smiled at her, and looked at the others, not sure if they knew she was there. Taking her chances, she greeted them too, "Hi," she said softly, sounding more like a whisper than a greeting.
Another girl came, then Kyle asked for her name. Ohh right! She forgot to introduce her name. "Zara. Danielle Zara Griffiths." She smiled.

Simon briefly glanced at the two girls who seemed to follow him to Kyle's table, reconizing one as connected to his teammate before turning his attention back to the Ravenclaw for her answer. He noticed the sound that had escaped but ignored it as nothing more then it was when she accepted him. The captain took a seat as they were joined by a third girl, feeling slightly ackward with the company, now surrounded at the table but all females but not showing it too much.
Nothing like meeting knew people anyway, he mused to himself as he set his bag at his feet and smiled politely at the group situatuated at the table. Besides he wasn't about to back out after being one to have asked to sit there."Hello..."
Zenobia was so excited to start her next class as she came running in, almost toppling over another classmate.Zenobia looked around and found herself very suspicious of her surroundings. The drapes over the books? What could the professor be hiding?Maybe it was books for this semester but Zenobia was sure she had got all her books at DA.Confused Zenobia made her way to the back of the class walking past rows of Older students.Nerves as she was she sat down with confidence that she was sure to make some friends and hopefully be able to exile in the study. As the Slytherin pulled out her parchment and textbook followed by her quill she thought to herself I wonder where my cat is?
Now that she knew the girls name that was good, Kyle smiled. "Nice to meet you Zara I have to say love the name" she did Zara had a cool edge to it like Kyle did. Yup, and her real name being Kyleigh wasn't cool in the least. Not at all.
Smiling, she realized she should introduce everyone to Zara and yeah, that was the nice thing to do. "Zara, this is Hannah Malfoy," she pointed to the blond Ravenclaw and then she pointed to Caroline, smiling "Caroline Scott, and finally we've got Simon Bennett - he's the Gryffindor Quidditch Captain" she explained with a smile. He was also really, nice. Kyle smiled over to Simon, she did notice he looked a little awkward but still smiled.
"So how are try outs going?" She asked with a smile.

Divination.
Helena... liked Divination, but it was definitely NOT her best subject. So, after climbing up all those stairs, the girl finally entered the Divination classroom. The first thing she noticed, beside professor Bishop, was that shiny crystal ball. Oooh were they going to use that?
"Hello, professor," she said, smiling at the woman, then looked around for a seat. Anywhere.

Samira looked up from where she was sitting with Nika and Ariana to look at the new arrivals. She noticed Helena walk in and smiled eagerly. She tried to get her friend's attention.

Kimalia was a little lost trying to find the classroom, before realizing she needed to climb up the ladder (after following other students). After arriving, she merely brushed herself off smiling at the Professor "Good day, Professor." Before turning her attention to the class. She chose an empty seating area laying her bag beside her, seeing as everyone was pairing up w/ their own set of groups and waited patiently for any others to arrive before class began.

Kurumi rushed into the classroom with her book bag slung over her shoulder and her hair tied with a white ribbon. Smiling, she bowed to Professor Bishop. "Good day, Professor Bishop," she chirped as she eyed the tarot cards and secretly hoped that they would be doing something different. Her tarot reading with Eino last term had been fun, but she would like to try something else. Perhaps some Divination based on how a cookie crumbled or something. "I hope you and Anastasia are doing well. I have been meaning to stop by your office to say hello."

After greeting with Professor Bishop, Kurumi took her usual seat in the front of the classroom and found Selina was already there waiting for her. Smiling, she sat down and took out her Divination book, setting it on the table in front of her, and turned her attention to Selina. "Ready for this?" she whispered.

Eino sang cheerfully as he skipped to the Divination classroom with his backpack bouncing and swinging around, and some toilet paper attached to his left shoe following closely behind. He wasn't very shocked to see the rearrangement, but he really liked it. He continued singing and waved at the professor as he entered the classroom, and finally sat down on one of the empty tables hoping his friends would fill the missing chairs.
Then, her attention was averted, and with good reason, as Eino entered the classroom...singing? Well, this was certainly new...
Covering her mouth because she wasn't sure if Eino was being serious in his singing or not, Kurumi attempted to contain her laughter. Certainly never was a dull moment with Eino. She then noticed the string of toilet paper hanging from his shoe. Well, she supposed that it was better there than from his pants. Not that either wasn't embarrassing or anything. Thankfully, he had taken a seat at the table across from where her and Selina were sitting.
"Eino!" she chirped waving at him. "Come join us if you want."

"Same! Divination is my favorite subject!" She said while bouncing up and down. She had been looking forward to this for the longest time. She quickly skipped towards her two friends and sat in the empty chair at the table. "YAY!" She burst out happily.

Viola entered the classroom, feeling slightly nervous. Although, she found the subject vaguely interesting, she wasn't really good at it. She smiled at the prfessor and greeted, "Hello, Professor Bishop" before proceeding to find a seat for herself. She found one that was quite near to the front of the room and sat down, placing her bag on her desk. She really hoped this lesson went well.
After greeting with Professor Bishop, Kurumi took her usual seat in the front of the classroom and found Selina was already there waiting for her. Smiling, she sat down and took out her Divination book, setting it on the table in front of her, and turned her attention to Selina. "Ready for this?" she whispered.
Selina looked up from her cuticles that were being brutalized to see Kurumi take her usual seat beside Selina. She forced a smile at Kurumi and responded, "As ready as I'll ever be in this class. You know how it is."
Of course Kurumi didn't know how it was. The fear and lack of control, but she was the best form of support she had, what without her mother not knowing or her father. Selina was limited and Kurumi was not a back up choice, she was the person she trusted the most.
She then leaned over to Kurumi and whispered, "Can you please watch me? Make sure nothing goes wrong? And if it does, just cover for me?"

Kurumi could tell that Selina was not in a real joking mood, and she couldn't blame her. She understood how it felt to be out of control with an ability, but at least she had her father teaching her tricks about how to control her metamorphagus changes. Selina didn't have that. She didn't have a way to control it. It came whenever it wanted to and left just the same.
"Of course," she said softly.

Well...it was time again. The time where she grumbled, glared, and dragged her way up to the seventh floor. She had gone a few minutes earlier then when she normally would have, just so she could get to class on time. However, when she got there, the class was practically almost full.
Yet, she made it, so she couldn't really complain.
"Hello Professor Bishop." she muttered as she moved around, looking for a table to sit at where she wouldn't be glaring at too many people. Josh wasn't here yet? Or was she just not seeing him?

OH! He knew this guy! He was that Slytherin who'd met them on the platform last year, on their very first day at Hogwarts! What was his name again? Something lizard like. SALAMANDER? No, that wasn't it. Oh no, why couldn't he remember his name!
"Oh hey there....dudeee," he finally settled on that, because he wasn't about to guess with his name and totally embarrass himself. He grinned politely at him. That wasn't that awkward, right?
There was Salander though. And that Huffie kid that was Sierra's brother. He was alright she supposed. Fun to glare at.
"Hey Salander." she smiled, sitting down. Hmm yes, he had no choice. She was sitting here! "Hello...you..." What was the Hufflepuff's name again? Matthew? Steven? Allen?
Dani entered the classroom, looking around for an empty spot. It wasn't like Beauxbatons, where she'd walked in and known exactly where to go and with whom, she had no idea here. She greeted the Professor kindly- "Hello, Professor" she said sweetly. She shyly went and sat near Kurumi and waved over at her, not sure she'd see.

Oh thank Merlin this was a class with a Professor that she knew. Well she didn't know Professor Bishop personally but she had been here last year, so she was a familiar face. And from what she remembered of the woman, she appeared to be nice. Not like that idiot Shaw fellow.
"Hello Professor." Mia called out cheerily as she made her way into the room and almost ran into the Huffie Prefect who seemed to be having problems finding a seat. "Oh for Merlin's sake Trey. There is a seat right there." she said before grabbing him by the arm and pulling him over to the middle of the room where two vacant chairs sat.
"You don't mind sitting next to me, do you?" She gave him a sweet smile. Of course he didn't. She patted the chair. Sit down Treyen.
Luna entered the classroom it was very diffront to the others ''Hello proffeser'' said Luna while sitting down then taking out her textbook notebook and quill

Even though she was outwardly appearing like she was focused on her reading, Renée actually had been paying attention to the door to the classroom as well, anticipating when the students were going to arrive. It was always interesting seeing their attitudes at the beginning of term, and she looked up as the first boy entered and spoke. “Hello, Mr. Dumble. We should be starting as soon as everyone else arrives,” she replied, noting how he seemed to get directly into preparing for the lesson. Even though she had the feeling he wasn’t exactly sure what to prepare for, she had to admire his focus.

Turning back to her cards for a moment, Renée looked up again as she heard the next person arrive and smiled back at Samira. The Slytherin looked to be anticipating the lesson, which was always good, from her perspective at least. She generally enjoyed the cynics as well, though, but those who tried to enjoy her classes were better. “I’m quite well, Samira,” she replied kindly, “Why don’t you settle in and we’ll get started soon.” Obviously once more students arrived, as she knew they would. Curiosity never ceased around here, and even her subject had its share.

At the sound of the deep and dramatic sigh, Renée didn’t even bother trying to ignore it and go back to what she had been doing. It wasn’t like she couldn’t pick up her reading after finding out what was going on, and she couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow in curiosity as she saw it had been Salander who had made the noise. She wasn’t curious enough to ask, especially as his demeanor seemed to shift just as dramatically as he made his way to a seat near the front again, and she returned his easy smile. “Hello Salander. Ready for another foray into deciphering the future?,” she replied, teasing a little. Hopefully he wouldn’t be quite as distracted as he had been this time last term.

She thought with a smile.
Deciding to try and see what little information she could glean from the semi-aborted reading laid out on her table, Renée turned back to it. On her way there, though, she’d returned Kyle’s smile as the blonde Ravenclaw had made her way to a seat. “Hello Kyle,” she replied, smile growing a bit larger as she figured out that there was in fact curiosity growing about the lesson. Mystery was always a fascinating way to learn about people; those who actually tried to find out what was happening and those who just waited for the answers to come to them. They were both valid paths, even if one was a bit less interesting.

Happily wondering, Ariana sat down at a table next to Samira. "Hiya!" she said.
Mentally noting what some of the last cards she’d managed to lay out before everyone had started trickling in, Renée glanced up again at the sound of another cheerful greeting. “Hello Ariana,” she greeted the young Ravenclaw girl, returning the smile. Cheerfulness usually meant anticipation and interest, which she’d grown to expect from at least some of the students she’d had the chance to get to know last term. “I’m good,” she continued, letting the conversation trail off as the girl noticed her friends and went on to greet them. Discussions were only bad if they got too unruly, so she let it go for now. Class hadn’t quite started yet anyhow.

Sitting back in her chair slightly, Renée returned Chloe’s tiny smile with a bit of a mischievous sparkle in her eyes. She’d noticed the Gryffindor’s observation of the crystal ball, and it would be interesting to find out what her take on it was. Even if that was only the slightest aspect of her planned lesson. “Hello Chloe,” she replied simply, however. It wasn’t really important to ask what the expression had meant just yet. She could prolong the suspense for longer, as it meant there was the possibility of listening to the students speculate. Of course, she hadn’t quite seen a lot of that yet, but anticipation usually led to interesting things.

Renée had gone back to glancing at the spread before her, but at the sound of the door opening again she had looked up. Only to watch the Slytherin boy in amusement as he seemed undecided about something. She had an idea what, especially as she couldn’t say she remembered seeing him much last term, but she was keeping an open mind. An amused open mind, but an open mind nonetheless. “Nobody’s keeping you here, if you’d rather be elsewhere, Mr. Farley,” she commented lightly as he seemed to decide to take a seat. She was well aware her subject wasn’t necessarily required. “Things should get moving soon, though,” she reassured him. Seeing the set up of the room he didn't know what to expect but tried to find a familiar face or two with whom to work with and he smiled upon spotting Kyle already there.
"Mind if I sit with you?" he asked as the captain made his way over to the table where she sat.
It seemed hesitancy was a common factor, to a lot of the students walking in, and Renée watched in amusement as the Gryffindor Quidditch captain seemed to be feeling that very emotion upon entry. She had to give him hypothetical points for still being polite, though, and she smiled at his greeting. “Good day to you as well, Captain Bennett.” It seemed he’d decided to stay, as he headed for the table that Kyle was sitting at, so she went back to contemplating her own activities in the meantime. She was half tempted to give up, but at least it gave her something to do while she waited for everyone to arrive.

As she made her way, she passed Professor Bishop and greeted a, "Good morning, Professor Bishop!" and a cheery smile.
She had only glanced at her cards for another moment when it seemed she was destined for another distraction, but Renée looked up at the first year that had passed her table with a smile. “Good day to you as well, Miss Griffiths. I hope you enjoy things,” she said, both friendly and a little vague. She was referring to the lesson at hand, of course, but that didn’t mean there couldn’t be a myriad of other meanings.

Anywany Divination mode time. She walked into the classroom and noticed not desk but round tables with four chaisr scattered around the classroom. She eyed the crystal ball closely. "Hello Professor Bishop!" She said with a smile.
It seemed yet another Slytherin wasn’t exactly happy with the trek up from the dungeons, but Renée had seen no reason to change the location of her lesson. Her plans hadn’t entailed specific locations, like at least one of her lessons last term, and Divination being held in the tower was almost a tradition at Hogwarts by now anyway. Caroline was, it seemed, not choosing to verbalize any issues, though, so she didn’t respond to what she’d sensed. “Hello Caroline, why don’t you make yourself comfortable, and I’ll get things started shortly,” she replied with a smile. The advice didn’t seem to be necessary, but at least it had given her the feeling of doing something. Other than staring at her cards.

Renée couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow again as she noticed the curious expression on the little Hufflepuff who had just walked in’s face, but she stayed just as quiet about it as she had for the previous students who had seemed that way. She figured it was just curiosity about the lesson, anyhow. She smiled at the little first year, though. “Hello, Miss Hammer,” she replied, voice still its usual light and friendly tone. She’d be finding out about the topic under discussion soon enough.

Somewhere. Anywhere.
Something had seemed to have flustered Treyen as the Hufflepuff had entered her classroom, but Renée simply sent him a smile. It was probably something little, as she knew by now that he would say something if it was important. At least, she knew that now. It seemed he’d gotten distracted by her new little decoration for now, and she bit back a grin. That was going to be the fun part of her lesson, once everyone realized that wasn’t the whole topic. “Good day to you too, Treyen,” she replied with a nod, as he made his way to a seat. Yes, this lesson was going to be fun. She hoped so, at least.

"Hello, professor," she said, smiling at the woman, then looked around for a seat. Anywhere.
Another person who had gotten distracted by the shiny, and Renée simply reached out to brush her fingers along one of her tarot cards as she waited for the Slytherin to decide if she wanted to say something. The energies were still there, even if her actual reading had been paused. It was calming to her, in any case. It seemed she still wasn’t going to be getting any direct questions about the crystal ball, though, and she smiled. “Hello, Helena,” she replied, continuing to watch as the girl looked for a seat. There were plenty left, so that search shouldn’t take long.

She chose an empty seating area laying her bag beside her, seeing as everyone was pairing up w/ their own set of groups and waited patiently for any others to arrive before class began.
Renée smiled again as she watched the next first year enter her classroom brushing herself off. Perhaps she should check and make sure the dusting wasn’t being left off up here, although she hadn’t seen any problems yet. “Good day, Miss Fanster,” she replied gently. She was surprised that more people hadn’t seemed to pair off yet, get into groups. It wasn’t required, but she hoped more people would arrive. Of course, that wasn’t necessarily odd, at least with the first years, but she’d thought they would have found friends by now. People were still filtering in, however, so she hoped someone would join the little Slytherin eventually.

Renée had been able to hear the singing for a while before the singer had made their appearance in her classroom, but as that had happened she wasn’t surprised to find that it had been Eino. She smiled in response to his animated wave, though, judiciously ignoring the toilet paper trailing from his shoe. It was certainly unfortunate, but there was no need to point it out. The singing, however, was a different story. “That was quite the interesting song, Eino,” she said to him with a soft laugh, as he found a seat. “A bit depressing in topic, but still quite appropriate.” The idea of seeing into the future, at least. It wasn’t really apropos as to what she was planning on discussing this time around.

Although the reasoning behind this was not something Selina liked to discuss or was particularly proud of, she was good at something. It had to count, if only for a little bit.
Since Kurumi had spent the summer at her house Selina had become more understanding of her curse. It did not wake her up every morning any more and scare her that one day she may wake up and only see the future, not the present. If that was to be her fate she would live for the moment.
Once she arrived to the classroom she took and deep breath and took the first heavy step into the classroom. As soon as she was inside a warmth enveloped her and she smiled. This was comfort to Selina.
She walked up to Bishop's desk and smiled at her, "Good morning Professor Bishop. Looking forward to this term. I hope to learn a lot." Selina hoped Bishop understood the hidden meaning behind that statement.
Then she took her seat at one of the desks and started to prepare for class. She left the spare seat next to her open for Kurumi. If Selina had another episode in class she wanted Kurumi there to help her. The visions were becoming more frequent and Divination only encouraged them. She needed Kurumi.
After their continued talks in her office, Renée was happy to see Selina still coming to her classes. The idea of opening herself up had to have been both terrifying and oddly intriguing, but she certainly was happy to see the Gryffindor. The girl had seemed to relax upon fully entering the classroom, at least, which was promising. “Good day, Selina,” she replied with a smile, as she was approached, folding her hands on the table near the Tarot cards still laid out. Eventually she would need to gather them up, but she still figured there was a bit of time before she’d need to start the lesson. “I’m glad to hear that, and I hope I can manage to live up to your expectations,” she said, silently letting her know she’d understood the underlying message. There was no need to be more open about it, not if she wasn’t comfortable.

Maybe this lesson would change her view altogether and she would become some sort of a famous Seer when she--no no no, she pushed those absurd thoughts from her mind and entered the classroom.
She had to keep an open mind.
Crystal balls.
Tarot cards?
Lola Velma only nodded to the professor, trying her best not to think of her as a loon because well--nevermind, open mind, open mind.
Renée had gone back to her Tarot spread again as more students filtered in, but something had made her look up again only to see quite the intriguing girl walking in. She thought she’d remembered seeing her at the opening feast, green hair and all, but that made it no less interesting. As did the thinly veiled contempt that the girl was trying to disguise, but she only smiled. “You have quite the colorful hair,” she observed calmly, even though it seemed the student hadn’t chosen to speak. “I’d even say quite impressive. House pride, or something else entirely?” Perhaps turning the topic from the unspoken of subject she was about to teach yet again would distract the girl. It was worth a try.

I've been looking forward to attending divination ever since the holiday started!" She said nodding her head eagerly.
Any concern about other students’ biases against her subject faded as little Nika made her entrance and caused another smile to grow on Renée’s face. At least some people were excited to be there, and not even just curiosity had brought the Gryffindor there. She had a feeling Nika just enjoyed the entire subject, not just the possibilities of what she might have chosen as the topic for this particular lesson. The girl certainly seemed enthusiastic every time they’d seen each other. “Hello Nika,” she replied with a light laugh as the words tumbled out of the girl. “Breathe,” she advised, before continuing to respond to the enthusiasm. “I’m glad to hear that. Hopefully I can live up to the hype.” Of course, that last comment was the slightest bit facetious, but she hadn’t been able to help it. The enthusiasm was getting to her.

Her tarot reading with Eino last term had been fun, but she would like to try something else. Perhaps some Divination based on how a cookie crumbled or something. "I hope you and Anastasia are doing well. I have been meaning to stop by your office to say hello."
Relaxing herself again by a quick glance at her cards, Renée looked up again at the sound of someone rushing into the classroom. Nobody was late quite yet, but she had to admit the idea anyone would worry was oddly flattering. She smiled as she saw it was Kurumi, though. “Good day, Kurumi,” she replied, noticing the discreet eyeing of her cards. “Just something to pass the time,” she continued. She usually tried not to repeat her lessons, even though she had to admit she had her preferences. And the Tarot was definitely one of those. She grinned as the Gryffindor continued speaking, however. “I can assure you that we both are doing quite well. Settling in again. I’m sure Anastasia would enjoy a visit, though,” she added. The fascination with her phoenix was understandable.

Another case of nerves, and Renée had to hope that the girl would feel better once class had started. There wasn’t a lot she could do, if it was fear of the subject itself, but she always tried. “Hello, Viola,” she replied, as the Hufflepuff greeted her, giving her a smile as she gathered up her cards finally. She was going to let more people arrive before starting the lesson, but at this rate she wasn’t about to get any readings done. Not when she was distracted every few seconds. The answers would still be there later.

Renée raised an eyebrow slightly, again, as Evelyn grumbled her way into the classroom. She had to admit, the Slytherin always seemed to make things interesting. By herself or with her friends, who she imagined would appear at one point or another. They usually did. “Hello Evelyn,” she returned with a smile, as the girl continued her search for a seat. There were still several open, which was the only reason she hadn’t decided to create more seats. People really seemed to be coming to lessons this term, and she only half hoped that it was a reaction to what she’d heard of the new professors.

More people were flitering in, so Renée abandoned watching to see if Evelyn ever found a seat to her liking. It seemed she had, anyway, with Salander and Alex near the front, so she turned a welcoming smile to the newest arrival as she spoke. “Hello Miss Dubois,” she replied, stopping herself from exercising her meager knowledge of other languages. It wouldn’t necessarily make people feel more comfortable, and she’d greeted her in English anyhow. It seemed seats weren’t becoming an issue quite yet, anyhow, so things were still going fine. People were grouping themselves with friends, and she hoped it would all work out in the end.

Just after Danielle, it seemed Mia had decided to appear and Renée gave the Hufflepuff a smile as she managed to run into Treyen. Apparently she was another one who was relieved by the familiarity, which created even more wondering about if the rumors were true. That the Ministry professors were truly, well, different. “Hello Mia,” she replied with another smile, finding the interchange between the girl and Treyen quite amusing, along with the rush of cheerfulness that had swept in with Mia. She’d never thought seats would be that difficult of a decision, but then she hadn’t noticed that the prefect was still standing either.

Gathering her Tarot cards into a neat stack next to the crystal ball, Renée thought about just checking on a few other little things that she could determine. Before she could do much more than brush her fingers over the stack, she saw Luna come in and nodded. At least the ratio of new students to ones she remembered wasn’t entirely skewed, as she hadn’t really noticed during the feast. “Hello Luna,” she replied with a smile as the Ravenclaw started getting things out for the lesson quietly. That was expected, to say the least, but she didn’t want the girl closing herself off from the energies around her.

Matthew? Steven? Allen?
...
Eh, didn't matter.
Easing in into a comfortable slouching position, he lifted his dreamy gaze from Professor Bishop to rest on the face of.... a boy.
Well may not be half as pretty but nonetheless-- "Hey there Alex!" he grinned readily and clapped the boy's shoulder juuuust as strongly as he did in the platform. Heh. "Ready to go study the divine?" he grinned as he slid his eyes quickly at the Professor standing in front of the class. Just then he felt someone take the seat next to him. Oh, look another divinely brunette "Howzit goin' Evelyn!" he greeted his fellow Slytherin happily. For all the stair climbing he has to go through to get to this classroom, the view can be worth it.
Now if he could just spot that one more Heavenly Body he'd be a very happy lad right now oh yes indeedy
