Ariella grasped the sides of her desk as the classroom shifted. She could feel her chair disappear from underneath her - falling down, down, down. She covered her mouth to refrain from screaming. And then, silence. She felt around her.

Great. She was fully submerged in the disgusting ball pit. Totally unnecessary. Ariella scanned her eyes around the room.

They were looking for arrows, right? She saw a big one pointing straight. Getting down on all fours, she climbed through a tunnel, following the arrow to wherever it might take her.

Salander stepped over the cleaved plastic glass and made his way down the tunnel, his wand at a ready. He could see the arrows beside him on the tunnel wall, directing him to go straight ahead. Simple enough right?

"AAAAaaaaahhhhhhhhhh"

Course that arrow meant straight ahead so long as he had something solid under his feet.

He landed with a loud SPLASH! right on his bum, groaning and cussing under his breath. "That was graceful. Thanks a lot for the warning!" he grumbled as he glared at the chute now above his head. Gingerly he pulled himself up and looked around, and spotted the new arrow glowing beneath the rippling waves. He stuck out his wand and started wading through the waters, then stops short, half the arrow has vanished under this wall before him. Hmm no sweat... "DIFINDO!" he cast strongly as he made a slashing motion downward, the spell hitting the barrier with a loud BOOM!

Kurumi shifted her position a bit so she had easier access to her wand, which ended up causing more damage than not seeing as the balls began to shift around her as well. She opened her mouth to call for help - assuming that people were close enough to hear her that is - but a few of the squishy foam balls tumbled from the top and one landed right smack in her mouth. It certainly did not taste very good. She needed to do something to get out of this squishy mess.

Her hands eventually found her wand and she pulled it out. Now what? Kurumi pointed her wand at a group of colorful balls in front of her face. "Diffindo!" she commanded as she moved her wand from left to right across her face. All in front of her, balls began slicing in half, but more replaced them. She really didn't have time to slice all the balls in front of her one by one. Wait, she didn't have to...did she?

Kurumi scratched the back of her neck as she tried to remember what it was that Professor Descoteaux had said earlier about the nature of this particular spell? Thankfully, Kurumi had managed to tuck her parchment into her robe's pocket, along with the gillyweed pouch, and she removed it from her pocket and held it in front of her face.

Diffindo is a charm that can sever lace sleeves or split an entire lake into two - depending upon the caster's abilities. What sets it apart from most other charms is that the caster's will, and not concentration, is what is most essential to it.

Right, it was all about intention...the caster's will...

Kurumi closed her eyes and returned the parchment to her pocket. This just might work...

"Diffindo!" she shouted, but with a strange calmness in her tone. The colorful collection of squishy orbs in front of her began to shift from the top towards the bottom. It started slowly, perhaps just one or two of the balls shifting to the side, but then more began to move until every ball began shifting and soon there was a clear pathway before her leading to a small set of stairs that would allow her to climb out of the pit. As she walked forward a bit, Kurumi made out an arrow pointing to the right.

As the pouch appeared in front of her, Helena grabbed it and then stood up, watching as the classroom began to... change. Again. But... what was happening?

...

Oh no.

She was soooo not going to enjoy this.

The girl found herself on some kind of platform and walked around, following different arrows that led her to a dead end. Now what? Oh. She pointed her wand towards the... whatever-it-was-made-of wall, made that slash movement and said "Diffindo."

Let's see what is going to be next.

As he walked back to his own desk he noticed a pouch lying on top of the surface and was just in time to grab it when he was falling.

Falling? Why did he have the feeling he was falling?! Well , maybe that was because he IS falling! Daichi let out a shout of shock and landed in a sea of colourful balls. What had just happened!? was this a test? getting through this playground? And even worse... WHERE WAS MRS.DUCKLES!? Daichi looked in his right hand where he had hold the rubber duck in but it was empty. S-she didn't fell in this sea of these colourful balls DID SHE?! Daichi looked around and pushed away the balls but after a few minutes of looking he gave up. Daichi had the feeling he wanted to cry but he hold it in. He needed to find his way out of here.

Daichi looked around and found an arrow leading to the right. He stood up and followed the arrow. He looked back one last time and sighed deeply. "Sorry.." he mumbled and then walked further. He rounded a corner and found himself in a squishy wall crossroad. Daichi looked at his left but it was a dead end. He looked at the trampoline that stood in the corner of the dead end but he shrugged it off. Daichi looked around for the arrows and saw one of them pointing in front of him. Walking further he passed another corner and...another dead end. But the arrow told him to go this way! Daichi thought about the spell they had learned today and he looked at the red coloured wall. It was big enough that even he couldn't miss. He grabbed his wand and pointed it at the wall. "Diffindo!" he shouted and made a slashing movement. The red wall cut but not whole. Daichi re-pointed his wand to the wall again and tried again. "Diffindo!" After two cuts the wall ripped open and he was able to walk through it. He turned another corner..and another..and another.. never getting an obstacle in his way. As he rounded another corner he stopped. He had just passed this wall! Daichi cleary saw the cuts he had made. Had he been running around in circles? The first year sighed and calmed himself down as he looked around for another way out.

Gwen looked a bit puzzled after the classroom disappeard. Or… after she disappeard from the classroom. Now… what do I have to do?, the young ravvie started thinking, hoping she would manage to do somethin smart today. Maybe it didn’t even need to be smart. It could be normal… anything but stupid! Yes! The arrows!, Gwen finally remembered.

While walking in the direction the first arrow she saw pointed, the girl came across a wall, almost bumping in it. Why do I always have to be this clumsy? Stepping a bit backwards, Gwen pointed her wand at the wall: ‘Diffindo’. Why won’t it work? Hmm?!?! Once again: ‘Diffindo!’, she said, this time, loud and clear. There! Moving on…

Chloe quickly grabbed the pouch of gilly weed as she saw everything in the classroom change before her eyes. wait, Wha. Before she could even think to say anything more she could no longer see the porofessor or anyone else for that matter. It looked like she was in a corridor of the castle. How the? She then started to remember what professor said about being in siome sort of abstacle course and to find arrows to lead them back to the charms classroom. She did not see any arrows but some thing that looked like the door to the moving staircase was there. She walked over to it and opened the door. As soon as she got on what she thought was stairs they flattened. "Ahhhh", she kept sliding and she was not sure where she was going. Hopefully it would lead to an arrow at some point.

Daichi looked around. He must have missed something because he kept running around in circles. He looked at the torn up wall and back. He bit his lower lip in concentration, how to get out of here? After a few minutes of looking Daichi groaned out loud. "This is not funny anymore!" He sighed deeply and held his head up...just what he had needed to do. As he looked up, he frowned when he saw a small arrow leading up and an ledge on the second floor. He knew what he had to do and he walked over to the ledge. He reached his hand out but he couldn't reach it. He tried jumping but he was too small. Only his finger tips touched the squishy ledge. Now what?

Daichi stopped jumping and tried to think for a moment. Maybe something from earlier could help him...It was like a lightbulb went on in Daichi's mind as he traced his footsteps back to the beginning. Daichi rounded a corner and came at the crossway kind of section. He looked right and saw the trampoline he had seen earlier still standing there. Perfect! He grabbed hold of the thing and dragged it with him. He had wanted to use that levitating charm but he had never learned how to do it. So instead he found himself dragging the trampoline with him. He dragged and dragged, sweat started to cover his slightly red face. The trampoline wasn't that big but for an eleven year old , it was. As he came back to the ripped up red wall, Daichi placed the trampoline in front of the upper ledge and took a moment to catch his breath. He then climbed on top of the trampoline and jumped.

It took him a couple of times to get a good grip but at his fifth attempt he held on the ledge and his legs were somewhere in mid-air. Daichi grabbed one of the bars on the right and pushed himself up with a little difficulty. But he managed it and soon he was on the next floor.

After a bit of what felt like a never ending slide Chloe finally reached the bottom into a ball pit, wha Chloe quickly dug her way out and saw she on the ground floor. She quickly got out of the ball pit and saw a bright red arrow.Great, this obstacle course was nut ball. She got up and out and saw The bright red arrow was leading to the court yard. Thus Chloe walked toward that area but as soon as she got there she saw a rope ladder right in the way of her only way out. Chloe cimbed up the rope ladder and and climbed down the rope on the other side. When she reached the bottom Chloe looked for the next arrow but the trail was stale again. She saw a rock right in the middle of the path and remenered the professor saying they may have to use diffindo on some items to find arrows. She took her wand out and and with a quick wave she only had to think the spell and rock was severed to bits and there was the arrow leading right out the pathways. Great, more outdoor fun

Finally reaching the stairs, Kurumi pulled herself out of the pit and turned around to see that the parting of the sea balls was still in effect. It looked rather silly, like too hodgepodge walls held together loosely with glue. "Finite," she chirped, waving her wand at the divide. In the next instant, the balls began to cave in on one another until it was as if they had never been divided in the first place.

Smiling, Kurumi turned to search for the arrow she had seen from within the pit when...

*THAWK*

...she found the arrow.

Now lying on her back and looking up at the bottom of the arrow. It was still pointing in the direction she had seen earlier, which was good that her slamming into it hadn't changed its directions.

Pulling herself up off the ground, Kurumi stopped up and looked in the direction the arrow pointed and saw that her path was blocked by a very intricate woven ribbon wall. It was almost too pretty to break, but Kurumi wasn't really interested in standing there for the remaining portion of the class.

"Diffindo!" she said and the ribbons split right down the center, allowing her to walk right on through into the next area.

Standing on the second floor, Daichi followed the arrow that was painted on the floor. He walked until he found some kind of tunnel. The arrow pointed inside and he dropped down on his knees. Climbing through the tunnel, Daichi wondered how big this play ground was and if he could have this in his own house. The Slytherin followed the curve in the tunnel and finally the end came in sight. Daichi climbed out of the tunnel and stood upright.

Looking around for the next arrow for he had gotten at a T junction. Finding one of the arrows pointing to the left, Daichi turned that way and continued to walk. He turned a corner left and another corner right until he stood at another ledge. Daichi looked down and saw the floor below him but he couldn't go down, he had just came from that way. He looked at the other side and noticed another platform. There were no monkey bars or anything and he had the feeling the jump would be too far for him to do. His eyes found a rope tied up around one of the squishy poles with a knot at the bottom. He untied the rope from the pole and held it in his hand. He noticed that the top of the rope was on stuck on the upper level floor. Daichi took a few steps away from the platform he was standing on and then ran towards the ledge.

He jumped with the rope in his hands and rested his feet on the knot. He flew through the air and as he was above the other side ledge he let go. Daichi fell on the ground and rolled over. The rope behind him was dangling at the centre and he stood up, continuing his way as he followed the next arrow to the right.

Chloe walked toward the pathways and there she saw another arrow leading on to the giant treehouse. Awesome Chloe ran toward the tree house but quickly felt the ground shift again but this time did not have time to scream. She slid right past the tree house and right into the herbology greenhouse with the door open. Chloe was too scared to even keep her eyes open for this crazy ride. She only knew she reached the end when she crashed into about 5 plants cracking their containers and covering her in dirt. Uh, when will this insane obstacle course end Chloe got up and brushed the dirt off my robes. As she did this she saw another red arrow leading back in the direction of the tree house. Wait, what?

Ariella kept following the arrow, until she came face to face with a big wall. "Diffindo!" she shouted. The wall split in half quickly.

She continued crawling until a beautiful rainbow of flowers came into view. She gazed in delight at the garden. It was on the side of the lake, nestled behind a few evergreens.

Thwack! Ariella's knee smacked against the side of the tunnel. "Ow!" she squeaked on impluse. That didn't feel so good. She forced herself to keep moving ahead. And then - an invisible wall?! She reached her hand up. Yes, that would be a see-through wall. "Diffindo!" The wall split immediately.

Violet (Penny) stood up as the chairs and desks began moving, Penny was getting used to being in Violets body now... Wand in hand, Gillyweed in hand and antidote too....she was ready for the fun to start..

Almost as she thought it, water started swirling around her, and the she saw a huge yellow arrow on the wall pointing straight ahead, eating the Gillyweed fast (it was disgusting) she felt her throat change, transforming into gills..

Walking over to the arrow, she followed its direction, out of the classroom and almost instantly found that she was on a slide - going downward very fast...

"WHEEEEEeeeeeeeeeee", she screamed all the way down the slide... reaching the bottom, she quickly found her feet again and discovered her first obstacle.....A sea of balls..

Pointing her wand directly into the midde, Violet (Penny) yelled "Diffindo", and the balls separated into two halves, with a path through the middle - She walked down the path and reached the other side, looked back at the balls and yelled "Finite", the sea of balls were back in their original position again..

With a smile of satisfaction, she spotted her next arrow and continued on her adventure

Gwen started thinking what could come up after the wall. It can be anything,I don’t have any preferences… I just don’t want to bump into the second ‘obstacle’ too. Whyle lookig around for another wall or some large thing, she fell down a slide. Thankfully, the girl didn’t get hurt. Wooow! This lesson is actually fun, Gwen finally realized.

Another arrow!, she thought. This one leads…where, exactly?, she asked herself while scanning the place. A quite large block of… some kind of… stone? Meh, it was just like a square-ish wall. ‘Diffindo’, Gwen said, and this time the charm worked for the first time.

I am actually starting getting more and more curious of what I’m going to see next. The next time, I’ll also have to watch out for slides…

As he followed the arrow to the right, Daichi noticed red/blue/green squishy steps leading down. He walked down the stairs that strangely enough reminded him of the moving stairs in the castle. As he climbed down and was on the middle of the stairs it suddenly began to change. Daichi yelled out loud when he landed on his back and slided down. The stairs had transformed in to a slide. He would have thought it was funny and cool but when he heard a gushing sound behind him he panicked. Water flowed behind him and was trying to catch up with him as he was about to enter another tunnel. Thinking fast , which Daichi was luckily good at whenever he was panicking, he grabbed the pouch he had placed in his pocket and as the water catched up with him he swallowed the gillyweed.

As the water rushed over him and filled the tunnel, Daichi realised after a few moments that he could...breath? He looked at his webbed hands and his eyes widened. He could also see perfect underwater. This stuff was amazing.! There was just one little problem.

HE COULDN'T SWIM!

Daichi kicked his legs and waved his arms around , trying to at least do something so that he moved forward. In a odd way, it worked and he soon saw the end of the tunnel. But as he reached the end of the tunnel, a foam wall appeared , blocking his way out. Grabbing his wand , Daichi shouted. "DIFFINDO!" And slashed the wall apart. He splashed out the tunnel and landed somewhere..he didn't know where ...yet. He couldn't breath either and he quickly found the tiny bottle of potion in the pouch and drank it. His features started to change to normal and soon he was standing up. Soaking wet yet with a big grin.

Feeling the chair move underneath her, Louisa stood up quickly and watched the transformation of the classroom in awe. It was beautiful, dynamic, and MAGICAL! She should learn how to do these stuff.. they wouldn't teach them at Hogwarts, would they? Schools usually teaches something easy and non-catchy. Meh.

When the Professor had finished, she looked around trying to process all those poles, walls and slides. Good thing it wasn't a cubicle, she might feel claustrophobic if it was. Taking a deep breath and stopping the stream of ideas her mind had come up with, Louisa walked slowly forward where a shiny arrow was pointing...

..and walked...

..and walked until her head bumped into something. "OW!" She scowled up at the yellowish wall which didn't feel like other walls would've felt when bumped into. This one was... unnatural. She took a step back and, "Diffindio, my dear wall." She shot cockily with a slash movement that sent the wall into the ground in two parts. *smirk* Too busy with her victory over a still helpless object Louisa walked on with a raised head too high raised as she..

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE..

sliiiiiiiiiid on her tummy on a long slide to the next floor. She jumped on her feet as soon as they touched the ground, fixed her skirt and prayed that it showed nothing while flying downward. "Stupid arrow!" She shot a nasty look up at the slide, "Couldn't they be talking arrows? Is there where the magic is not involved anymore?" Yep, she was talking to herself as she continued forward into an oval shaped tunnel with arrows floating above her head.

Seriously, I gotta go back there, there better not be in any more dang slides. Chloe begrudgingly walked back toward the giant tree house and thank goodness there was no slide this time. As soon as she got there she another bright red arrow pointing toward the womping willow. No, no, no. I will not go there Even thinking she would not she put one foot in front of the other walked right toward the womping willow anyway. This dang obstacle course is a nightmare

Tapping her wand against her thigh, Thea waited for the room to stop spinning. Scowling, she looked around her. It was so weird. She was sure maybe even her momma couldn't do tricks like this!

Spotting the first arrow, Thea's scowl got worse. Pfft. Follow the arrows? It was a bit too obvious. Rolling her eyes, she stepped forward preparing herslef to get eaten or whatever. Instead of a scary creature appearing in front of her, a wall appeared. A wall. And yes, she nearly walked into it.
'Seriously?' She practically growled. Pointing her wand at the wall she cried out, 'Diffindo!' Staring, Thea dropped her arm slightly. Ok, maybe she had been a bit too enthusiastic.. The wall had crumbled.. a lot?
Smiling to herself, she carried on following her bright purple arrows.

Once Helena walked through that... wall, or whatever it was, she didn't really pay attention to her feet, so she... "AAAAAHHhhh!"

... fell.

Where? Or on what?

She didn't really know. All she knew was that she was covered in coloured balls. NOT pleasant. Not at all. How could professor Descoteaux think of something like this?! And will she ever get out of there? She could only hope.

The girl tried to make her way through all those balls (maybe she could learn how to swim in there, since she was almost moving like that), until she reached something that looked like another wall ready to be destroyed. "Diffindo."

Pleeeeaaase no more balls.

Post2!

Stepping over the rubble, Thea wrinkled her nose. Ew. It was dark in here! As soon as the thought entered her head, the whole room became light.. blindingly so. 'Merlin!' Thea tried to shield herself from the bright light.
'Diffindo, diffindo DIFFINDO!!' The paniced lioness made multiple slashing movements with her wand.. and the light disappeared. 'Sheesh..' Shaking her head she stepped forward.. and fell.
This cannot be good.. Thea rolled her eyes as her dark hair flew around her as she fell into nothingness.

Nessie looked around amazed at the so called new part of the classroom. To her it looked much more like a playground. It reminded her of when she was a kid, she just wanted to run and play and just have fun like a small three year old, but this was a class assignment and she needed to focus. She put her focus game on and got ready to start following the arrows.Nessie thought the arrows looked a bit like those arrows you got on a dance mat. They were bright and colourful. She started to follow them her wand ready to Diffinindo in her right hand. She was just a tiny bit nervous, but she was excited to venture out on her assignment. She just hoped it wouldn't be to hard or scary.

After following the arrows for a while Nessie looked around and realised she was in what seemed to be a green maze. This isn't so bad thought Ness, its's actually quite pretty. She lowered her wand a little as she was less frightened now. Looking down again at the arrows on the floor she carried on walking only to be stopped by a huge wall. It wasn't a normal wall it was made from plants a bit like a gigantic wall shaped bush.

Well this must be it she thought. She raised her wand higher, focused on her target point and then with all her might she shouted "DIFFINDO!!!!". She watched excited as the Bush wall split apart. It wasn't exactly enough of a whole for Nessie to get through. She thought for a while and decided to try and do the spell again. She then focused on her target "DIFFINDO!!!!!!" She shouted hoping this time she could get past. She was just about to get dissapointed as nothing much happened except another crack seemed to apear. Great she thought sarcastically, but before she could think anymore she felt a big shake and heard a big BOOM! she looked at the wall only to see that the one half had fallen. Happy again now she continued to follow the Disco Dancing Arrows.

Once Helena walked... or crawled through all those annoying, colorful balls, and then through the new 'door' that she made, using Diffindo, there was almost a grin on her face, thinking that she could finally run away from them. But...

... NOOOOOO!

No MORE balls! And this time, it was even worse. She fell throw some kind of... tunnel? And then right into other balls. Great. Charms was SOOOO close to becoming her SECOND favourite subject.

But she was not going to give up. She followed some more arrows that were up on the walls, away from the balls, and then faced another kind of... door. She knocked it gently and it felt like... plastic. "Diffindo," the girl said, this time sounding super annoyed. There. No more plastic door.

Post3!

Landing with an almighty SPLASH, Thea screamed.. and screamed, and screamed. 'Oh HELL no!' Bringing her hands down into the water, she searched frantically for her wand. Thankfully it wasn't deep, and she found it quickly. Standing up, the little lion bristled like an angry cat... and screamed again in frustration. Nostrils flaring, the angry lion spotted one of her bright purple arrows flashing deep down in the water. Oh stop. Deep down?.. Yes.. the water was rising.
Again Thea rolled her eyes and was very pleased she had put her hair into a ponytail that morning. 'Lumos..' she muttered. The water looked dark!

Eventually she was breast-stroking it towards another barrier. This time it was a looong wall covered from head to toe in weed.. or something. Thea shuddred. She was so not touching that. Treading water.. in the water *eye roll* Thea pointed her wand at the wall. 'Diffindo!' she shouted. Immediantly the wall severed enough for her to swim through. Well, she tried to anyway. As soon as she was through the wall Thea was dry and defiantly not in water. Good for the Professor.. Thea thought to herself. Rolling up her sleeves she gripped her wand more tightly and carefully walked on.

Lara was so amazed when the class turned upside down! She thought that this was the coolest thing ever. She was in the middle of her amazement when she noticed that the Professor was explaining what they should do. When the explanation was over she straightened herself up, held her wand and faced the playing area.


She started her journey with her wand in her hand and her other hand held in front of her, it didn't really mean anything but it made her feel like she was in some kind of exploring trip. She glanced her first arrow and she immediately picked up her pace as if the arrow going to vanish! While following the arrows and passing slides she faced her first obstacle, it was a flying plate… or that's what it seemed like. Lara was tightened on her wand as the flying plate was getting closer she aimed her wand at it and said loudly "Diffindo!" but nothing happened! Lara's mind worked very fast at that exact moment and she immediately remembered that she again forgot to do the slashing motion. So then and without any hesitation she moved her wand downward like Professor Descoteaux showed them earlier and yelled "Diffindo" and she covered her face with her other hand. And the flying plate was split into pieces just before her face.

Lara breathed deeply, she was annoyed that she forgot what Professor Descoteaux had just told her. Anyway she tried to convince herself that she now won't forget it again. She continued to follow another arrow as another thing popped up in her face. And it was a rock or so, as her wand was ready that's why she cleaved right away which made her smile to herself. She was pleased with her fast move.

After a couple of arrows Lara stood looking at where the arrow was pointing. It was pointing to one of the tunnels. She hesitated before going in but eventually she did.
