Charms II: Diffindo Having read the notice in your common room, you head down to the grounds for your next Charms lesson. In an enclosure of sorts, desks have been set up in the usual, neat rows. Professor Descoteaux is standing at the front of the classroom and, once inside, you realize that the place feels a pleasant sort of cool.

Daichi had read the quick note in his dormitory and after wondering what on earth the impuriviosus or something spell was. He did however get the 'not want to get drenched' part so he quickly changed his clothes before heading down towards the lake. His schoolbag hung over his shoulder as he walked over the grass. What was up with classes outside? Not that he minded. It was actually nice to get out of the castle, specially now it was such a nice weather. Entering what he thought was the classroom, Daichi waved his right hand to the Professor who he saw standing at the front of the classroom. "Hello Professor~" The first year found a seat at the middle row, shivering slightly as he sat down. It was cooler here than outside. Magic maybe? |
Caroline walked into the charms classroom in a very happy mood. She seen Professor Descoteaux, standin in the front of the room. "Hello, Professor Descoteaux!" She said to him. Whoa it sure got cooler in the room suddenly. "Bit chilly in here." Maybe they would be working on warming charms today. She continued walking after greeting Professor Descoteaux, she found a seat in the back of the room, Maybe it would be warmer back there She sat down and waited for class to start. She pulled her quill and parchment out while she waited. |
Coming down from the Gryffindor common room, Simon took the last few floors of stairs in stride to head down to where the charms class was being held per instructions. He finally came upon the enclosure, thankful that it hadn't decided to rain during the journey there. "Good day Professor," he greeted as he spotted the man at the front of the classroom, the Gryffindor making his way to one of the desk to sit down ready for class to begin. |
Aurora arrived in the outside classroom and gazed around, "Hello Professor." she said, taking a seat. Hmm, the air felt strange... like... cold. But nice... how very odd. |
Violet's grey mary janes were clicking on the floor very loudly as she was eagerly making her way towards her favorite class. Violet's golden blonde locks flowing behind her, which had her usual yellow bow in it. A big smile on her face emerged as she walked into the Charms classroom. Violet stopped in the doorway and took a moment to look around her favorite class and then she came out of her gaze when he eyes rested on her favorite Professor. She made her way into the classroom as she began walking towards Professor Descoteaux. Violet smiled brightly at him saying,"Hello Professor, I hope you're day has been treating you well today." She then swiftly moved to one of the desks in the front of the room and sat down. Violet then took out her parchment and her swan feather quill, along with her glitter ink. She placed everything on her desk neatly and then smiled. Violet was so eager for her favorite class to begin! |
Selina ran down to the grounds after seeing the notice board in the Common Room. She was intending to have a go at exploding snaps this afternoon with a few hot-headed Ravenclaws, but after seeing the notice her day had been cut short. Part of her really wanted to show the lot of them up, but she knew getting a bad grade for skipping a class would not help her whole house points ordeal so she made her way into the make shift classroom. She ducked her head inside and looked up at Descoteaux. She remembered the last time she had seen the man had been through hazy eyes and a bloody nose. A blush graced her cheeks of embarassment and she said, "Afternoon Professor." |
Yippee! Charms class again! Savannah always liked charms class. It was always fun to learn how to do new hocus-pocus stuff. It was better than messing with gooey stuff like in potions. It was better than just learning about some long history of such a boring story. Savannah hoped that this class would be as interesting as the last few. "Good morning professor." Savannah greeted politely before taking an empty seat in the near front. |

She couldn't quite decide now whether she was enjoying the new warmer weather, or if she wanted winter back. However, once step into this enclosed area, she wanted the warmer weather. WHY? Why must it be cold? Pleasant or not, the Slytherin scowled. "Good day, Professor." Professor FrenchFry. What was his name again? On the other hand, this was Charms. Her favorite subject. So that almost made it bearable to stay in a freezing class. Yes, she was being over dramatic. |
Penny walked down to class, and found half the class had arrived already.. "Good Morning Professor", she said smiling, walking her a desk and removing her textbook, quill and parchment.. |
Ahhh. Spring time is here. Which is really a bummer. Jonathan is more of a Fall season person. Spring just gives him too much allergies. Bleh. He marched down to the Charms classroom for another lesson is yet to be learned. Great. Not that he was entirely a charms expert or something. He looked around to see that not many people have arrived yet. Merlin! And here he thought he was running late already. Oh well. He stretched his neck to look for a seat. Jonathan is always fond of seating in front. Makes him more attentive with the lesson. Plus, he doesn't get sleepy when he's just a few inches away from the professor. Finding one in front he took out his book and parchment and quill. Put it on the side like so, and then looked at the professor "Good morning professor" He took his seat. |
Jai with his bag slung over his shoulder walked into class and greeted his professor,"Good day Professor." as he walked on by to find a seat. He was in a good mood today and he wasn't sure why. Finding a seat near the back he sat down and took out his note book, quill and ink and waited for class to begin. |
Carter entered the classroom. "Hello Professor." he greeted as he passed the Professor. Wow. It felt nice in here. Spotting both Jai and Caroline in the back of the classroom, he headed toward them. He slipped into the seat halfway between them. He greeted them both with a smile before waiting for the class to start. |
Kimalia walked into the Charms classroom again, she had liked the first lesson and was a little excited to come back for the next lesson. She gave the professor a small curtsy, "Good day, Professor" before walking to her normal seat. |
Kurumi walked into the Charms classroom and felt a slight shiver go down her spin, but in a pleasant way. Looking around, she was a little relieved that there wasn't and snow or ice Kurumi tugged on her robes a bit, perhaps it was a little too cool. Seeing as it was already spring, Kurumi had chosen to wear lighter garmets of clothing, but she was now wishing that she had put on her grey sweater as well. |
Presley walked into the charms room with a smile. "Helllllllooo Professor!" She almost sang. Not for any particular reason. Presley was just in a fabulous mood. She sat in her typical middle seat, and pulled out her books. |
Eino made his to the Charms classroom and immediately noticed that it was cooler than the rest of the castle. Not that it had been too hot lately, but he much preferred how cool the classroom was, it felt nice. As he walked in the waved hello to the Professor, then made his way to his usual seat, sit down, and set up his desk as he waited for class to begin. |
It was nice to have a lesson down by the lake especially this time of year. Spring. When everything was starting to bloom and come alive again after months and months of cold and snow. It was a shame the Professor had set up this enclosure it would have been nice to sit out in the open. Stepping inside, Mia immediately noticed the temperature difference but merely shrugged it off, she was slowly getting used to the cold now. "Hello Professor." she said giving him a smile and a wave before taking a seat up near the front. Merlin! He was still as fine looking as ever. |
Helena made her way to the grounds, where the next Charms lesson would take place. She was kind of worried, though, since she read that 'drenched' part on the notice board in the common room. What were they going to do? Hopefully not another water balloon fight, like last term. But that one turned out fun, after all. "Hello, professor," the girl greeted the man, cheerfully as usual, then took a seat somewhere in the front. Let's just hope that she wasn't going to regret that, since she kind of figured out that they'll get wet. |
Having a class outdoors could only mean one thing. But as she made her way down to the lake for the lesson, Destiny managed to forget what that one thing was. Oh well. She'd remember it later. When she didn't have to. With a skip in her step, she arrived at the enclosure and was immediately reminded of one of those muggle circuses. She had seen them on the telliwission, and as she entered, she was VERY disappointed when there were no performing elephants. Maybe they would be brought out later! "Hello, Professor Desperado." Or whatever his name was. Giving the man a salute, Destiny made her way to the empty seat next to her BEST friend, Evelyn. Did she know about the elephants!? |

Ness looked at the desks which were in row. She just stood there for a little trying to think where to sit. She then spotted Helena, and thought of going to sit by her, she just hoped Helena wouldn't mind. "Hey!" said Ness after she had finished walking over to where Helena was sitting. "Mind if I sit?" asked Ness smiling at Helena almost sure she wouldn't mind, but you never know thought Ness. |
Iris walked down to the Lake. She wasn't feeling too happy about this. Whenever large bodies of water were involved with, or were simply near a charms class, the end result was usually students having to go IN said waters. Iris didn't LIKE being IN suspicious and unfamiliar waters. Yes, she'd been there nearly 7 whole years. She'd been in the Lake once in that whole time. It was scary, all right?! Waving to the professor, Iris grinned. She'd always be able to ask to not participate if part of the class required going IN the lake, right? "Hullo, Professor! How're you today?" Hmmm. Now to find a seat. Preferably away from all the First Years. |
