Finlay slipped his arm back around her waist, pulling her closer to him. Now that they had got that out of the way, they could go back to having a nice train journey. Finn ate another jelly ring, as he looked at her. "So...did you tell your dad about us already?" Because he had to admit that he was a little nervous about meeting him really. What if he didn't approve? That would really suck.

Fallon snuggled back into Finn, the jelly ring still on her finger. She was going to leave it there because it amused her too much. Ah. She should have expected this question to come. "He knows I have a boyfriend...but he doesn't know what happened between us in the past." That was just one conversation she would never want to have with her father.

Oh. So her father knew about him. That was kind of good? At least Fallon hadn't been hiding their relationship from him. "That might be good..." He mused, thinking about their past. It was pretty bad past, mostly on his behalf. If he hadn't been such a jerk they could've been close to celebrating two years together. "I mean...he'd hate me if he knew what I did." He was still pretty angry at himself really. He didn't need her dad hating him.

"Well, I can't wait to see." Philip smirked slyly and nuzzled Dani. He raised an eyebrow at her fumbling with the bag. "Looking for something?" He smiled.

He blushed deeply. "Yeah, of course I've seen you around school.. I just never had the guts to talk to you." He whispered, almost too quietly for her to hear him. "I assumed you wouldn't like me, and I guess I just wanted to spare myself the pain of finding out you actually would." He whispered.

Fallon just nodded and looked down at her hand. She didn't like keeping things from her dad, but he would never give Finn a real chance if he knew the truth. Fallon at least wanted him to try and like him. She really didn't know what to say so she keep quiet and just snuggled up with Finn.

Maria looked over at Mikey and shrugged. "Don't worry about it. Not much you can do. Unless you can make my sister better" she whispered.

Dani giggled and stayed close to him- "Nah" she laughed as she moved and kissed his cheek.

"Aww" she whisepred as she squeezed his hand and moved in to kiss him again. "You shouldn't assume" she smirked at him as she moved and gave him a big hug, she rested her head on his shoulder and giggled a little. "So... I can't wait to be home... how about you? Miss your family?" she asked him softly.

Finlay knew that it was probably hard for, not telling her dad the whole truth. But he was kind of glad she wasn't. Finn knew that his dad would probably stop them dating if he knew what Finlay had done. He didn't want to lose Fallon, not at all. "I'll prove to him that I'm good enough for his little girl." He assured her, with a small smile. He'd do anything to prove that he was good enough for Fallon.

Mikey bit his lip. No matter what Maria said, it only made him feel worse. There he was all angry and upset when Maria was going through worse than he was.

Fallon smiled up at Finn. "I know you will." She was going to make sure that Finn had the best chance possible to do that. Fallon looked back out the window. They were getting closer and closer to home.

Maria sniffled and wiped her tears, then wrapped her arms around Mikey tightly. She needed comfort more than anything. "Think anyone would notice if I snuck off and went home with you? Just so I don't have to go back there" she whimpered. "Just don't make me go back there" she whispered.

Finn was glad that Fallon had some faith in him. He was still sure he was going to do something, mess up and lose her forever. That was always the way. Nothing ever went Finn's way. He would try so hard not to mess it up. "What about your mom?" He asked, with a curious look. They hadn't really talked about their parents that much.

Philip smirked happily. "Just had a sudden urge to dig through your bag?" He chuckled.

He kissed Dani back happily and squeezed her when she hugged him. He leaned his head on hers when she leaned on his shoulder. "Yeah, I miss them all a lot.." He whispered. "But.. For some reason, I don't want this train ride to end.." He whimpered.

Fallon kept her eyes trained out the window. "My mom still lives in Florida with my grandparents. I hardly ever here for her. Just on my birthday." Her and her mother had had somewhat of a falling out after she decided to go live with her dad and go back to Hogwarts. "So yeah. Nothing to worry about there."

She looked at Finn. "What about your parents?"

Dani giggled- "Well, I was hoping to find some more of the sweet stuff but..." she laughed as she stayed resting on his shoulder and pulled out some strawberry gum from her bag, unwrapping one and popping it into her mouth.

"Hmm..." she sighed- "Me neither" she admitted as she moved and kissed his cheek sweetly- "Would your family like me?" she asked him curiously.

Mikey looked down at Maria and put an arm around her letting his foot fall to the floor. He looked kinda shocked when she spoke. "You know you're always welcome with us. We're going to Yorkshire for a couple of weeks so there's nothing stopping me asking if you can come with us" he replied.

Oh. That was kind of sad that she didn't hear form her mother that much. His family wasn't that bad, even if some times he did wish that they had split up. "My parents are still together." Barely. Finlay wished they had split up. It would've been better. "I kind of wish they weren't..." He hadn't told her about his parents, but he figured this was the time to tell her. He didn't want any secrets.

"When I was little me and my brother saw them having this huge fight." It had affected him really badly. "My mom was really upset because my dad had apparently cheated on her, and it wasn't the first time. They go on like nothing happens." When lots of stuff had happened.

Maria buried her face in Mikey's neck. "Thank you" she whispered softly.

Fallon nodded and kept her eyes out the window as he said his parents were still together. The second statement caught her off guard so she turned to look at him. She used to wish her parents had never separated...but now she knew it was for the best.

Fallon couldn't help but frown. She didn't understand how they went on living like that. "I'm so sorry Finn." That had to be a lot worse than what had happened to her parents. They had had a mutual break but they still hardly talked to one another.

Finlay really didn't like talking about this stuff. He didn't like it. He hated his dad for doing it to his mum. It was part of the reason why he didn't want to hurt Fallon. Finlay really didn't want to end up like his dad. That was why he was trying to be nicer to girls now. He was getting better, Fallon proved that. He just hoped that he could keep it up.

"i've gotten used to it now..." He shrugged, snuggling closer to her. He was glad he'd told her. It was probably for the best. "I just don't want to turn out like him.."

Philip opened his mouth, as if begging for a piece of gum, much like a dog begs at the table.

He nodded. "Oh, Dani.. My family will love you!"He chuckled. "They won't understand how I managed to get someone like you to even hang around me, let alone kiss me.. But they will like you!" He smiled. "Believe me.. You'll be popular." He smirked.

Mikey half-smiled. His trademark smile never got old. "No need to thank me" he replied tilting his back against the back of the seat.

Fallon looked at Finn. She had no idea how he could have possibly gotten used to something like that. She frowned and turned to face him better. "You're not going to turn out like him..." She gave him a small reassuring smile. As long as she was in his life, she would make sure that didn't happen. Even though it was something she really couldn't control.

Dani giggled and put some gum in his mouth- "This stuff is sooooo good!" she laughed a little and kissed him softly.

"I'm glad! And my family will love you. Hopefully" she giggled with a little wink- "Just kidding!" she laughed as she moved and hugged him close. "Wow... It'll be fun!" she said softly with a little nod, truly excited to meet her family, it was then that her muggle phone beeped and she took a look at it- "Oh... great. Looks like my twin will be coming for us, with my Aunt Zoe" she laughed a little. "Alright then" she smirked.

Maria sniffled. "Yes there is. You're gonna save mefrom that awful hell hole" she said.
