History:
Before moving to London, Jenny lived in her father's sushi shop in New York with the rest of her family. She, along with her brother, often helped her father cook sushi for his customers while her mother stays in the backroom, secretly making wizard robes for her own customers at her clothes shop. Once in a while, her brother would put raw fish on top of her head, and she often had to stay away from the kitchen for an entire day because her father thought taking care of her brother was bothersome enough.
Once her father got a business deal in Diagon Alley 3 years ago, the family moved to London and her dad opened a tiny sushi restaurant there. That was when Jenny realized she can do magic; she was trying to help her dad wrap seaweed around the rice when the seaweed suddenly wrapped itself around the rice. Ever since then, Jenny was often scolded by her mother (kindly) for not trying to control her magic (properly, at least). During the summer, Steve would often come back from Hogwarts and joke about how Hogwarts was different from his old school in America. He would then teach Jenny some interesting spells right behind their mother's back.

History:
Satine was born in San Antonio, Texas and attended Muggle school there until she was eleven. When she was young her parents quickly figured out that she was magical because she turned out to be a metamorphmagus. She had to learn to control her emotions as a young child because her eyes and hair change with her emotions like a mood ring. When she became old enough to attend Hogwarts, her family relocated to England and have lived there since. They do travel a lot and spend most summers at the family beach house in Florida. Satine's fave place to visit is New York. She is a social butterfly that has danced her whole life. She has a great academic background and sets her standards very high. She is also very energetic about everything.

PERSONALITY & BACKGROUND: In stark contrast to her good natured appearance, Chyler Canning is a very closed off person. Smiles and affectionate gestures are rare with the redhead and she usually prefers the one worded replies rather than long winded speeches. Everything that is said in a speech can be said with one sentence too and she was not fond of people who did not know that. Which basically encompassed the majority of the people she’d ever met and as a result, has few to no friends. The only person with whom she really talks to is her brother, Sam.
Born four years after her, Chyler grew up in an insane household trying to protect him from her parents’ antics. It’s not that they didn’t love their children or didn’t want the best for them – it’s just that they didn’t know what the best for them meant. Since the age of three, Chyler had never lived in one place for more than half a year, and usually it was only three months. Lillian and Joshua Canning live in their own little bubble and believe that the best way to raise their kids is to show them the whole world, and quite literally.
By the time Chyler was eleven, they’d already lived in more than three continents and were just moving again to South Africa when her brother – who was just seven at the time and starting school – threw a huge tantrum. This was something new because there was an unspoken understanding between the siblings; they didn’t approve of their parents’ choices and they did not like moving all the time but this was never to be told to the parents for fear of breaking their hearts. Lillian and Joshua had huge hearts and in their own special way were only looking out for their children.
When Chyler got her Hogwarts letter, her parents at first refused to let her go – even Joshua, who had attended Hogwarts back when he was younger. Buying home tutoring books and materials, Joshua took to teaching Chyler about magic and encouraged by her quick thinking, soon grew to love it too much to ever think about letting her go to Hogwarts ever. Instead, whenever they moved to a new place she’d go to muggle school with her brother and learn magic on the weekends. While she had been a little disappointed she couldn’t attend Hogwarts, the redhead was nevertheless pleased with this arrangement because she couldn’t fathom leaving Sam alone to deal with her parents alone. They were a team and she needed him as much as he needed her.
As the years flew by, Sam grew more and more unruly. He mouthed off to their parents, refused to do simple tasks and rebelled against their policy. Chyler didn’t mind because she never made friends anyway but Sam is the polar opposite of her personality – he’s friendly, outgoing, fun and has the ability to make friends in an instant. He has friends from all over the world that he keeps in touch with and resents his parents for making him move whenever he felt like he could stay at some place – which was usually every single time.
Eventually, Sam pushed too far. In hushed tones, their parents stayed up talking the whole night as Sam and Chyler debated in identical tones what they were going to do to him. Chyler had been mad at him, but she understood. They’d been here for half a year and even she had felt like the place was growing on her when their parents decided it was time to move. Sam refused.
The next day, they handed him a letter of acceptance to a military school in the US, and he was to go immediately. Furious, Chyler had a rare fit and clung onto her brother, her face hard and her eyes alit as she challenged her parents for the first time in her life. She’d been defying them since she was five years old but never to their face. In a spontaneous decision, Lillian and Joshua made an arrangement with their kids – in the fall, Sam would go to military school while Chyler was to go to Hogwarts. In the holidays, they’d fly their kids to wherever they were but they would have to go back to school.
And that is how Chyler finally arrived at Hogwarts, bitter and beaten down while missing her brother terribly. She knew her parents regretted their decision because she saw the looks on their faces days after the decision had been reached and felt bad for them. They were only trying to do what was best for their children, at the end. And when two people have endless money from a mobile company that Joshua owns, their thinking isn’t usually spot on.

Amadeus Alfred Kipling was born to Chauncey and Antoinette Kipling while they were vacationing in France, although they both fully knew that Antoinette was about to pop. A week after their first child's birth, they returned to their manor in the posh countryside of Buckinghamshire, England, where Amadeus was raised in the most privileged manner that wizard money could buy. He was never told the word 'no' and to this day, he takes it personally if one denies him even the smallest request. He was spoiled even more greatly than his other wealthy acquaintances because of his status as an only child. His parents were and still are grooming him for what he was born to do: take over the family business of international wand-making, a tradition that goes back in his father's family for quite a few generations.
Before he reached the age of eleven, he had already traveled around at least a quarter of the world and was much smarter than the other children his age. He had been taught various subjects by tutors and governesses since he was the age of five and some of his instructors had even traveled with him, teaching him bits and pieces of various languages. However, the one governess that stayed with Amadeus the longest was the Frenchwoman, Adéle. Because of her French heritage and Amadeus's connection to Paris, they were able to bond over more things than were possible with the governesses from Romania, Germany, and Switzerland. All in all, Amadeus has lived the good life. His time at Hogwarts is definitely not as glamorous as it is at home, but he has learned to get by with his friends who can accept his brooding, sarcastic, haughty ways. Most people his age become easily intimidated or irritated, some of them even mistaking him for a Slytherin because of his personality.
Underneath it all, Deus can be a nice person. It is rare for him to show his friendly side unless he deems one worthy of his time and attention. Now that he is in his last year of Hogwarts, he has become more arrogant than ever, although his best friend's death over the summer did not fail to somewhat humble him into a better wizard.
