Hugo nodded at Kurumi approvingly. It was perfectly fine with him and in thiss state wouldn't mind a little company either. Though Kurumi would probably get out quicker because her injury was lighter. Hugo sighed. He was, even though he was purple, pretty pale.

Neptune really considered playing deaf. She did it all the time with her sisters when she wasn't in the mood for them. Marie, however, was not Neptune's sister and so the luxury of the silent treatment was not extended her way.

Marie rolled her eyes at Neptune when she said Jake was none of her business and that she didn't know him. Oh she knew him alright, she probably knew more about him than Neptune did. However she really didn't give a damn about Jake right now, she just wanted Neptune to go be with him and away from her.

"Well maybe you should go be with Jake then and let him comfort you. James doesn't need you here, he needs his girlfriend. The one who actually cares about him... you know... ME." Neptune was nothing but a complication and a headache for Jimmy. He didn't need anymore of a headache than she was sure he was already going to have and Neptune was sure to be a HUGE pain.

Like Neptune turning her back on Marie was going to bother her. NOT even close. Marie went and stood close to the door that lead to where Jimmy was. It was only right that SHE be the first one to go see him... NOT the BOTT BRAT!

"You don't care about him. You care that you're his girlfriend. You care about the status - YOU don't KNOW him."

And with that, Neptune got her wand out, got to her feet, and stood opposite of Marie. Neptune was getting in to see Jim whether Moron Salazar was standing in the way or not. It really was as simple as that.

*Matty figured that Marie would not being doing so well. Not with her boyfriend in the hospital wing. He would be a good friend and wait with her. Walking by to see how Marie was he saw someone pull a wand on her.*
"Woah!"
*Pulling out his wand he pointed it at the other girl. He wouldn't hex her unless he had to. But he kept it out all the same. He always went to stand by Marie. In case she tried to jump the girl.*
"Lets just relax you two..."

Lexi walked casually into the waiting room, a worried look on her face. Her friend was hurt and... what was THIS?! Wands drawn and such. Interesting. Lexi tugged Jim's scarf tighter around her neck and smirked slightly. "What in Merlin's name are you doing, Tune? She isn't worth you getting into trouble over," Lexi said as she stepped into the danger zone. Hehe. What fun.

She then looked at the stupid Huffie with his wand drawn on Neptune and scowled. "If I was you I would put that wand away unless you want it shoved up your nose," she said in a light tone, but her eyes showed she wasn't pleased with him pointing his wand at her... friend?

Turning back to Neptune she asked, "You okay? Have you heard anything about Jim yet?" Ignoring Marie was the best thing to do... she was an overreactive drama queen anyway. Pft.

GRIN.

Yes, GRIN. And lots of nodding. He didn't mind at all, after all, it was Healer Moretti the one who asked the favor. He'd come all the way down from the Observatory carrying much of Emmy's weight...he figured he'll be alright carrying her to Room...er, what room? Room Three? Yes, Room Three. Okay. "No problem." Treyen said, as he took a tighter hold on Emmy.



Whatever the girl was looking at him for, he had no idea, but he had a task in hand, so he only said, "Miss Bott," with one nod, before picking Emmy up and taking her to her appointed room.

Caroline come into the waiting room and sat down. She waited patiently for a room. She stared down at her wrapped finger. It hurt so bad. She hoped that she would get a room soon. She still couldn't believe that that stuipd bittind toadstool had bitten her fingertip and fingernail and all, off. It looks like a long stubbed finger.

What in Merlin's name INDEED. Neptune's big blue eyes swelled when the Hufflepuff boy (where did he even come from???) drew his wand and pointed it at her. Strangely enough though, she didn't even really get a chance to react or wibble because there was Lexi - right in the way - but in the good way of being in the way. Hexes and curses wouldn't hit Neptune, they'd hit Lexi.

But with Lexi's words, the wibble came anyway. "I don't KNOW," the exasperated Miss Bott gushed. That pretty much answered the Gryffindor's firs two questions. "Healer Moretti went to see if he was awake yet."EEEP. WIBBLE. WIBBLE.

Her eyes traveled to Trey as he passed by with a girl in his arms. She never really gave Hufflepuffs brain!points, but he'd so just presented her with a plan B in the event Ms. Moretti did not allow her back.

Desperate much?

Lexi wanted to HUG Neptune. She would refrain for the moment though. She waited alright... right until she said Jim wasn't AWAKE yet. Her mouth dropped open and she wibbled a little too as she pulled Neptune in for a quick hug. The girl needed petting or something. Lexi was SURE she was going to have a breakdown of some sort if she didn't get to see Jim soon. Poor Little Bott.

"Hey, he'll be alright, Tune. Healer Moretti will fix him up. No doubt," Lexi said in a soothing voice as she shot a look of disgust over her shoulder at Marie and that Huffie. Really they should respect Neptune's feelings a bit.

Lexi followed Neptune's gaze as that Lockhart boy went by. Hmmm. If Neptune FAINTED she could go back... Lexi smirked a bit as she turned back to Neptune. Hehehe. We read that loud and clear.

Jake had hardly had the time to shower before rushing up here. But he HAD showered, and then changed, and now he was HERE, with an aim to checking on how Jim was doing.

He was improving... he knew his first name.

Holding his ribs in slight pain, and having gotten lost about four times (the knock on the head was still quite... yeah) Jake finally reached the waiting room and- WOAH.

Someone had their wand drawn on Tune, who was here for some reason Jake would... soon find out.

"Oi," he said rather loudly at the kid with his wand trained on Neptune, giving him a GLARE but saying nothing else. Instead he went over to Neptune, who looked distressed.

"Are you okay, Tune?" he said to her, scanning the girl with wide eyes and then glancing at Lexi. Had Neptune fallen or was she having a panic attack or was she here for someone else? Jake hoped for the latter. Wait, someone had said 'Jim'. "He's not up yet?"

Cue overwhelming feeling of guilt. Had Jake in fact KNOCKED Jimmy into the stands? It was true that he hadn't... but he was still worrying.

Finn really had to make sure that Jimmy was okay. The dude was his best friend after all, and he was pretty sure that his mother would murder him if he didn't make sure that Jimmy was okay. So that was why Finn was making his way up to the hospital wing. Yes...he was being a bit slow, but he was tired, and he really didn't want to have to wait around that much, because well then he would worry...and he didn't like worrying.
But when he did get up to the hospital wing....it really wasn't what he was expecting to see. First Neptune was there, which didn't surprise him really. Marie was there too (not a shock either)...but then Matty was there with his wand pointed at someone. Which was weird. That wasn't good. Not good idea. He forget about Jim for a moment, and decided that it would be a good idea to resolve this idea.

"Matty put your wand away." Because the guy was only going to end up getting himself into detention. Finn then needed to decide who to go to first; Marie or Neptune. He nodded his head at Marie, he'd be over there in a minute, but he needed to talk to Neptune, they were both the closest to Jimmy in here (at least in his opinion anyway.) "Tuney...." She was okay right? She looked a bit...yeah.

Salander finally got around to the Hospital Wing, having the pressing need to check on his investments. He still felt mostly worried for Jim just as he was in the stands but was now also getting a little ticked off. He was starting to wonder if Jim-- who he knew to be an excellent flier-- was distracted at the time of the accident. Well heck he could be distracted all he wanted, but can he do it when there isnt a business arrangement riding on him?

He strolled into the Visitor's ward when he sees the scene before him. Hmm the Usual Suspects are there, and a couple of them with their wands drawn. Interesting.

Nudging his brows up playfully at Lexi, he plants himself right.in.the.middle of the group-- where he can easily be hit by any crossfire-- shoves his hands in his pockets, slides his eyes from one end of the group to the other and says "Wazup yo?"

Seeing Salander walk in, Lexi let out a breath of air and went to him. Sliding her arms around him she shook her head slightly. "I was just leaving. There is too much DRAMA in here for me. I think Neptune has enough protection now so I can go and come back later. See you around?" she said as she released him from the hug and looked up at him with a little smile.

Seeing Lexi come up to him, Salander walks slightly out of the cross fire line and slides his arm down her back "Awww you're leaving?" he mumbles with a slightly exaggerated pout "Was hoping you could help me push Jim on a guilt trip for making me loose that bet." he snickered as he walked with her towards the door. With a short sigh he says "I shouldnt be long." Hopefully "I'll see you later Luv." he murmurs kissing her forehead.

Awww he was POUTING? How cute. She reached up one finger and poked his lip before giggling. "I will be back when this all... ends. Or whatever," she said casting a glance at the others.

Letting herself be led to the door she smiled up at Salander as he kissed her forehead and then turned to look over at Tune. "Neptune, if you need me send a Patronus or something. And let Jim know I came to check on him and WILL return later," she called out. Yeah, Jim and she ARE good friends... so yeah.

Winking at Sal really quickly she made her way out the door and headed down the corridor.

Neptune had to appreciate that Lexi shared that look with her. And approved. It wouldn't have stopped Neptune even if she didn't approve, but Lexi SO gained another point in the "friend" column.

The thing that WOULD stop her from faking an unconscious number DID show up though. "Jake." Jaaaaaake. She moved from the arms of Lexi to the arms of Jake. She noted that he smelled clean as she burrowed into his shirt. "I'm so sorry I didn't stay. Congratulations though, you flew..." well, not into the stands.

And it didn't matter. Next thing she knew Finny was there, giving her those... looks. The wand-happy Puff was entirely forgotten. NO WAY he'd cast on her with THREE boys standing between her and him. HMPH. Later, she was going to kick Matty's shin and give him a serious lesson on manners and how to treat ladies.

"I don't know how he is," Neptune told Finny. "Ms. Moretti said she'd let me back if he was ..." WIBBLE. WIIIBBLE. The wibbles alternated to glares for Sal. If he gave Jim a hard time NOW... Neptune would strangle him.

Thank MERLIN, Neptune seemed okay, and was here for some other reason. Well... he still wasn't SURE but it was looking like it, which made Jake happier.

"It's okay, Tunes," he mumbled absentmindedly, giving the girl a biiiiiiiiig hug. It would have been nice to have seen her in the stands once they'd won, but seeing as Jake's heart just wasn't IN all this stuff anymore, he'd let it go. It was nice to see her now. "You missed the end, didn't you? Treyen Lockhart hit my into the stands with his broom. I got lost four times on the way here." And he winced slightly as he hugged, but that was it. He wasn't getting healed.

"Are we all waiting to see Jimmy? He's got himself a regular fanbase," the young man smiled stupidly, not for the first time that day. The mood... needed a little lift in here. "I wouldn't worry. I've been knocked out in plenty of quidditch related things, and look at me now."

... uhhh.

"With a low growl Matty pocketed his wand. And turned to Marie.*
"Are you okay?"
*Matty then glared at everyone else. They were all comforting that Bott girl. What in Merlin's name for!? Marie was Jim's girlfriend. Best friend or not the girlfriend is to go in first. He could see that this girl was upset and knew how to play it. She reminded him of the girls back home.*
"What is all of your bloody problem? Unless she is Jim's sister she needs to back off, wait her turn, and let Marie see Jim first. And you all run to HER aid? What about Marie?!"
*He wanted to badly to hex these people but didn't and worked on trying to calm down.*

"What in the name of Merlin is your problem?" Jake growled, moving away from Neptune slightly and turning to glare at Matty. "Who mentioned 'turns'? Just back off... stay over there. With her."

Her.

Marie.

Homewrecker.

Jake turned back to Neptune, clearly ready to flip out if this carried on. Rarr.

Marie rolled her eyes as Neptune mocked what she was saying. Was she that naive that she had to repeat the words so she could understand what they meant?. Guess not all Ravenclaws are smart now are they.

OH! MY! MERLIN!

Who the hell did this girl think she was? She knew nothing about Marie and what or who she cared about. "Say what you want about me... I don't really care. Your words mean NOTHING to me." she hissed at the BRAT. "At least Jim doesn't hide that I'm his girlfriend... too bad we can't say the same about when you were dating him." Marie could feel the anger building and it was only a matter of time before she did something to shut that Brat up.

Really?

Neptune was getting her wand out. Was she that stupid that she planned on hexing Marie right here? Yet another reason for Marie to believe Neptune was one of the not so smart 'Claws. Whatever... do your best Bott. Marie didn't need a wand, she would take care of the Brat in other ways. She would never back down from this girl and her little wand. She WAS going in to see Jim before first, she didn't care what anyone said. She would walk in without permission if she had to.

As she stood there glaring at Neptune just daring her to use that wand, giving Marie a reason to smash her face in when suddenly Matty was standing next to her... with his wand out too.

Oh crap!

This wasn't good. "Matty, please put that away. I can take care of myself, I don't need you getting in trouble." Neptune didn't scare her one little bit.Marie probably just had to yell boo at the girl and she would wet herself.

Oh look, it's Jake. About time he got here. Now maybe the brat would go away... or at least go to the other side of the room with her own boyfriend and leave Marie to go see hers FIRST before anyone else did.

Crap, and now Finn was there telling Matty to put his wand away too. Marie looked at Matty as if reminding him that Finn was a prefect. She did NOT want him getting in any trouble here. She was happy when he did pocket his wand. She knew Finn was there because he was Jim's best friend so he shouldn't have to worry about doing prefect duties right now.

And now Salander was there... standing right in the middle of the group. Wazup? Was he serious here? She didn't even acknowledge his stupid comment. Instead she turned to Matty when he asked if she was okay. "I've been better." she muttered as she hugged him, burying her face in his chest. She didn't even want to look at anyone around her right now. All she wanted to do was get in that room to see Jim.

When Matty started to tell everyone off she jumped just a little. She wasn't expecting that. She had never seen this side of him. He was always the quiet one. Hearing Jake's voice though made her see red forgetting about Matty yelling. Spinning around she hissed at him. "Don't you worry about what he's doing. You just worry about keeping HER out of my reach."

GO! NOW!

Take your girlfriend away from me before I hurt her. Preferably to another floor but if they insisted on staying then the least they could do was go to the other side of the room. FAR away from her.

*Matty growled at his fellow housemate Jake. He then lightly patted Marie's back as she cried on him.*
"I was standing out side for a moment before I came and heard the start of this. I only jumped in when I thought someone was going to get hurt."
*Matty then nodded to Neptune.*
"I wouldn't hex you, just block whatever you sent and keep Marie from trying to kill you."

*Still patting Marie's back Matty pulled her over to a chair and handed her his handkerchief.*
"Here, it's charmed to help stop crying and to calm down."

Neptune reached for Jake after Matty.... said what he said. "Jake, please .. please don't get into trouble over me." Some parts of Neptune, the rational side of Miss Bott, knew that Matty was RIGHT. As the girlfriend, Marie should have first dibs.

But what about Jim was rational??


"Ms. Moretti mentioned turns, before you got here. She said I could go first," Neptune admitted to Jake, and was to her credit at little embarrassed about it. Not that she was planning on giving her spot to Marie.

Or.... hadn't been planning on it until Marie spit venom across the room and killed Neptune. The words would have hurt coming from anyone, but coming from Marie-The-Exclusive-Girlfriend... that was the worst. The big fat tears were almost instantaneous after Marie's attack.

"Come on, Jake." As in, they WERE leaving. Marie was right about some things. "I want to hear about what Trey did at the game and have a lookover you." She tugged on him gently, then threw a pleading look to Finny. Find out about Jim? Let him... know she'd been here? It was a sad, sad, sad little look that was complete with streamy tears. SAD.

At the door, Neptune paused and looked back to Marie. "There are worse things than being hidden and unclaimed." And that was all. Neptune took her tears to the hallway and fully expected Jake to be WITH her. Meltdown was imminent.

"Well, aren't you the little super sleuth," Jake glared at the Matty kid. Seriously, anyone who gave Marie Salazar any amount of sympathy was someone already not on Jake's good side, depending on circumstances. (except maybe his dad?)

And by pulling his wand on Neptune, he'd already totally made Jake maaaaaaad.

"I won't have people talk to you like that, Neptune." Simple as.

Speaking of which, Jake gave Marie a blank look. Poor little she-sna-...


WAIT.

WHAT had that been about Neptune and Jimmy? What the... had they... they'd been...

And... now Neptune was upset for some extended reason and Jake suddenly realised that Neptune MUST have showed up here because she was more worried about Jim. Runes finally made sense as well.

There weren't any defective desks after all.

But something made Jake push that away. No. Neptune had only turned up because she cared when her friends were hurt... it was that simple. The fact that they'd dated meant nothing.

He kept saying that to himself.

Jake noticed Neptune had left and, stunned and near tears himself, he followed her out, determined to keep his emotions in check.

Just what had been going on?

He hated being clueless.

Marie wiped her tears with the handkerchief Matty handed her. "Thanks, but I don't want to sit." She said looking at the chair he had lead her to. She wanted to stand so she would be ready to go through that door once the healer came out and said she could go in. YES! Said SHE could go in... NOT the BRAT.

Sniffling a little she felt her tears drying up as she wiped them again with the charmed handkerchief.

Eying Neptune and Jake she shook her head. "Yes Jake, do keep from getting into trouble." she muttered to herself. That girl was so not worth anyone getting into trouble over.

Blah, blah, blah.

That's all she heard when she seen Jakes lips moving. She really didn't care what he was saying, as long as he took Neptune to the other side of the room.

Pfft!

Marie rolled her eyes at Neptune now. Over Marie's dead body would Neptune go in to see Jim first.

Which seemed wasn't something she would have to worry about now (not that she had been worried) seeing how Neptune was LEAVING!

That's right, move along like a good little girl. We don't want you here... and go ahead Jake, follow her like a good little puppy. Hearing Neptune's comment about there being worse things than being hidden and unclaimed Marie almost laughed. "Yeah, I could be HIS girlfriend." she said looking at Jake.

*SHUDDER*

That was a disgusting thought.

Well now, it was down to just Marie, Matty, Finn and Salander. She could handle those guys being there... unless Sal started asking stupid questions again. She would have no problem punching him and getting out some of her frustrations.

Grabbing Matty's hand she pulled him back over to the door with her. "Come on, I wanna stand over there." She wanted to be right there ready to go back when Healer Moretti said Jim was awake.

NO ONE WAS GOING TO STOP HER FROM GOING BACK THERE!
