Jake was levitated into the room by someone following close behind. He'd decided to keep his eyes closed for the moment, because he felt sick and seeing movement made him feel like he'd chuck his chips.

But at least there was no blood.

So, somewhat stupidly, Jake, all curled up in a ball, was half asleep even as he floated in, his teammates behind him. For some reason, he could think only that Neptune was RIGHT.

Now, time to sleep.

"Tired..."

It wasn't that hard at all. To take Jake to the Hospital Wing, that is. Mainly because he wasn't carrying the seventh year on his own. Thank Gilderoy for magic!

And yet...here they were, and the boy had managed to put the whole argument with Kaia behind him, he was all smiles right now because he was in the Hospital Wing, again! And he'd filled out the Check-In stuff for Jake, because well, the boy couldn't even walk at the moment.

Now Treyen was taking a seat, and Jake landed on one of the seats...or was it the floor? as the fourth year started to look for the pretty Healer.

Again.

And...say what, Jake? Tired? "Of course, you are, Jake, everyone's a bit tired." Treyen...wasn't, truth be told.

Melanie was late.

Like... really, really late. She should have helped levitate Jake up to the castle and she should have been there waiting with him. Now that she was thinking straight and not totally overwhelmed with her own emotions Melanie was aware of this. She couldn't really do anything now except for be there, though... Of course she had come.

She slipped around the corner of the waiting room, peeking in to see a few members of her team assembled in the seats. Melanie had actually thought that Jake would have been in a room by now, so she wasn't quite sure what to make of this. Perhaps she'd come quicker than she'd assumed. Without much of a word, she took a spot beside the small group of 'puffs, feeling rather out of place in the muggle-esque clothing she'd chose to change into in the locker room prior to coming up to the Hospital Wing.

Melanie eyed Jake with concern, taking note of how he was all balled up in the chair with an unhappy frown on her lips. It must really stink to be injured so badly two games in a row, especially considering the last one was his final game. All Melanie had for physical proof she had played in the game was a small bruise under her eye from the Ravenclaw Chaser, and very faint traces of paint still left on her face. Turning to address both Katie and Treyen after a moment, she began to ask, "Is he...?" ...Alright? But no. That would be a foolish question, she told herself, as she went quiet again. Jake, very obviously, was not alright. The Captain sat muted, biting her lip out of habit as she nervously looked about for the Healer.

Man, Katie was...forever bright.

One of the smartest Hufflepuffs for sure. Treyen nodded as she spoke, he was more than certain that that was one of the things people with head injuries shouldn't do, yet, if Katie hadn't mentioned it, then he'll have told Jake to fall asleep right here.

He didn't, of course.

Not too far behind was Melanie. Who had managed to change, by the way. Someone must be very worried. NOT.

"Well, he's not dead." Treyen said, eyes on the Captain. And...he actually wanted to ask her how she was and all, but Jake was priority now, yes? Not to the Healer, apparently.

"Mmm," was Jake's groaned reply. Doing anything hurt... probably because he knew something about today wasn't good... but he just couldn't remember what.

So yeah... that feeling made everything worse.

And that chair was uncomfortable.

And he wanted Neptune. Like, super a lot.

He NEEDED her.

THAT voice was familiar. Jake knew it.

He pushed up slightly from the chair, eeeeever-so-slightly, and gave a great wince. "Neptune... sh's comin'..." Just her.

Because... he somehow had it in his head that she was there. Somewhere deeeeep in his subconscious he had figured that Neptune WOULD be here soon... she was there when he'd gone to visit Jimmy, so she would surely be there for him... right?

Either way... she was there. She WAS. "Merlin, it hurts," Jake whined softly.

Ah, there she was. Looking quite...distressed, actually, but equally beautiful.

The Healer, of course.



And the boy had taken one step forward, because he was SO TOTALLY following after Miss Moretti Jake. Until the seventh year Seeker spoke.

"Yeah, no, I'm not, I just wanted to make sure he got here safely." He shrugged, half of it was true, but Miss Moretti didn't know it was. So, he eyed Jake one more time and a smile was sketched on his face. Yeah, the GIANT Huffie will be alright.

"I'd better go." He announced to whoever was around him and the Healer. He had a party to attend to. See ya, Jake!

And...he started to walk away, not before waving good-bye to his Head of House.

Oh was she? Lily didn't see her around anywhere. "If she comes after you're in your room, I will bring her in to see you, alright?" Yes? She motioned for him to stand, "Do you need help?"

"Thank you for your help, Treyen!" Lily called to the boy as he walked out of the hospital.

Jake made on odd 'uhhh' sound, which was his way of saying 'yeah, sure, that's fine, but Neptune's already here... she followed and stuff'.

Then he continued pushing himself up from where he was curled up on the chair, 'til he stood on shaky legs. "A little..." Help. Yes.

He felt dizzy and everything. He wanted to lay dowwwwwwn.
