Flinging the door open to the waiting room he quickly scanned the area for one of his closest friends. His partner, his Emma. Then he spotted her, in the middle of Rex, Fee and of course Sel. He completely ignored them as he ran up to Emma, not caring that he threw himself down on the ground instead of on a nearby chair. He had to see she was okay before he did anything. He crouched down infront of her looking at her blank expression. He couldn't see any of her usual happiness, it was like she was... He just swallowed and brushed some of her hair from her face. "Partner?" he murmured before glancing at the others worriedly. "What happened?" he asked desperate for some kind of information. Anything would do. |
Nika walked in the waiting room and sat down in a chair, anything to get off of her legs. She waited for the healer to get to her and check everything out. Nika was in pain after being dragged on the ground, but Emily didn't mean it. "Just that stupid severe our limbs thing. Why did I have to get a strong sense of smell and have to try to get near the flowers. Emily got super speedy and I got a strong nose. Ugh NOT a good combination." She thought to herself. Nika's professor wanted her to come here to get the OK that everything was going to be alright. She didn't want anything to get infected. |

If Emma was awake she wondered what she would say. Unable to do anything, she couldn't help but start to smile. Heh. And if anyone asked her if anything was wrong, she was not admitting anything. This was such a fairytale moment. "She fainted," Selena said simply. And it was, in a way, his fault. But best not to say now... right? Mmm... probably not. And what Selena was wondering was how everyone knew of this. "We were just talking... you know... Slytherins... scheming, talking, laughing, sugar and the whatnot, then she... bam, fainted," Selena said. It still wasn't her fault and she was definitely sure that Emma had died now. And Selena was starting to seriously miss her bestie. EMMA!!! Selena poked Emma again. Wake up... wake... up. "Emma, if you don't wake up, I'm totally going to sit on you," Selena muttered under her breath. Her pride was the only thing stopping her from crying right now. And if they weren't here, she was preeettty sure she was going to start breaking down and crying. |

Nika looked around the room admiring the beauty. She sighed as she saw the nurse attend to other students. Nika just wished she could get out of here as soon as possible. She didn't really like going to the doctors, not one bit. |

So here she was. After she completed the Check-in Form, Helena sat down in the waiting room and... waited. She had a feeling she was going to drink something with a really bad taste, but if that made her headaches and fever go... okay. |

Jaina sat down and waited for Ben to finish signing in. She sighed. He loved her so much that he wanted to protect her always. Reminded her of a story she had read once. She watched him come back over to her sit next to her. |
Benjamin walked over to seat next to Jaina and sat down. "I hope all she has to do is cast a spell and my nose will be fixed. I've had some black eyes before, but never a broken nose. If I had a black eye, my mother would just rub some salve on it, and everything would be fine. I guess we just wait here till she calls us up." Benjamin sat there and waited and waited. |

Occasionally, though, there were breaks inside the breaks. "Go on into Room Four, I'll follow shortly." She said to the boy. |
"I'll wait for you here when you're done. I promise I won't go roaming the halls," Jaina said with a smirk as Ben stood up to go to his room. |
Amadeus strolled in, holding the door open for fellow Ravenclaw Vashti Greenwell. He felt absolutely horrid: after a rather rough quidditch practice, whence a certain seventh year beater had been a bit too zealous with his bat, the fourth year had gotten hurt quite badly. Her arm was most likely broken and the blonde couldn't have felt any guiltier than he already did. Taking a seat in an empty corner of the waiting room, Deus took a hand to sweep back his hair, still mussied up from practice at the quidditch pitch. He bit his lip, crossing his arms over his chest nervously. Hopefully he hadn't incurred the ire of his team, and possibly all of his house, for too long. |
Vashti went through the door Amadeus held open for her, trying to smile at him as he did, and quickly walked over to the place she was supposed to check-in. Once that was done, she walked over to where her teammate was seated and took the spot beside him. She eyed him, wanting to say something that would stop him form looking so...upset and guilty. "You don't have to look so glum," she said gently, gingerly letting her bad arm rest against her lap. "It's not like I'm going to die, you know." |
Amadeus pursed his lips, trying to find the right words to respond with. Sighing momentarily, he settled into his seat before speaking. "Of course not," He spoke a bit dismissively, "The healer here is excellent." A moment of silence passed before the seventh year continued to speak. "I just... it's my first term on the team, yet I've already felt like I've let everyone down with this... this mishap." He glanced at her broken arm, which lay in her lap like a wounded soldier, and grimaced. His handiwork had been quite good, it seemed. |
Vashti chewed on her bottom lip as she listened to him speak. Sort of a habit she'd gotten into, but currently it almost sort of helped her take her mind off the pain. Her lip was probably going to be a chewed up mess when she was done with it, but that was okay with her. She didn't need lips to play Quidditch. "You haven't let anyone down," she replied. "Like you said, the healer is excellent - I'll probably be all fixed up and throwing Quaffles around by tomorrow." She sure hoped so anyway. "And besides, it's not really an uncommon thing. Injuries tend to happen in a sport like this, and some of them are a whole lot worse than what I've got." |
Jacob speed walked up to the hospital wing, with his Quidditch robes still on, and his beater bat in his hand. tight in his hand. he walked up the flights of stairs, and through three corridors. Jacob walked into the hospital wing and immedietly saw Vashti and Deus. He walked over to them, and asked "you alright?" jacob eyed Deus and turned back to Vashti. "All signed in?" he asked. Again he had to see miss pretty nurse, and she was probably going to put him into the crazy house. |
And then Jacob came in. Maybe he would cheer Deus up? ...Maybe not. Asking if she was alright seemed strange considering where she was, but Vashti decided to answer anyway. "Yeah, I s'pose..." As alright as she could be with a broken arm at any rate. It could be worse, of course. She then nodded at the second question. "Mm-hm, I just did that." And then she went back to biting her lip. |
