Waiting Room for Healer Moretti's Office OOC Note: This thread, as well as the office , is meant for non-patient meetings and greetings. If your character is ill or injured, please post in the Check-in Area for Patients then the Waiting Room for Patients and Visitors. |
Alex wasn't EXACTLY a sickly child--just a clumsy one. He had decided at the feast after he nearly choked on a bread roll that he should probably check out the hospital wing and just figure out how it worked, exactly. Maybe find out if there was a limit to how many times you could visit...he just wanted to be prepared, especially if flying lessons turned out to be MANDATORY. That was just asking for a concussion or two with him. Plus, he also heard that this lady was their Head of House. He wanted to be polite and introduce himself and talk to someone who probably loved Hufflepuff as much as he did! He knocked on the door and then looked around, spotting the bench across the hall from where he stood. He walked over and plopped down, taking in the surrounding area as he waited. |
If Preston wasn't so clumsy he would have ran from the feast to the hospital wing, but instead he had to take his time walking up there. He was excited to finally see Miss More and talk to her. He was even more excited to know that she was their Head of House. Walking into the waiting room Preston did the normal routine like every other time he had to either see Miss More because he was injured or because he wanted to talk, and took his normal position in his chair near the door as he waited to see Miss More. |

With a laugh, she pushed the door open and waved the boys in ahead of her. |
SPOILER!!: ALEX! Quote:
Preston nodded his head a couple of times before he stepped through the doorway into Miss More's office. |

Wondering why Preston was here, he stood up and followed the older boy and the nurse into her office. |
He was...devastated. Completely. Apologies. People gone. It was an awful start of term, the one thing he was glad about was the fact that his pretty Healer was now his Head of House, certainly less scary than Mr. Masterson, no? He knocked only once, and waited...yes, he knew his affliction couldn't be dealt with regular procedures. That's why he came to the office. |

And obviously he had come to talk to her about it, and her office was full. "Would you mind taking one of the Healing Rooms? I've got a few other boys in my office now, but we can talk there." Whatever was making him look so sad probably wasn't something he wished for the other boys to hear. |
Walking out of the office Mikey sits down looking at his hands. The little cresents of blood where he had made fist so tight that his fingernails had dug in to his palm.Started to sting as the tears flowed on to them and for the first time in 10 years he wept |
*Walking in Matty pinched his nose while blood kept coming down. Looking around he saw Michael.* "Ello... ou okay?" *He could see that he was upset, was he crying? Matty couldn't tell his own eyes were to full of water from his broken nose.* |
Satine walked into the waiting room a little bit nervous. She hadn't seen the new healer yet. She wasn't sure how she missed her at the feast, but none the less, she had missed her. She walked over to the door and sat down on the bench across the way. The area looked pretty packed and she thought about walking off and coming back, but she was afraid someone else might beat her to speaking with the new healer. She sat down and pulled a Muggle magazine out of her purple bag. As she flipped through the pages, not really reading them or even really focusing on them, she started thinking about why she was so nervous and fidgety. Healers always made her nervous because you never knew what they were going to be like. She thought back to the Healers that she'd had since she started at Hogwarts. They were either crazy, or mean, or too stressed out for words, or just well...just odd. She took a deep breath and shook her head left and right and then finally focused in on an article about planning a 50th Wedding Anniversary Party as she waited for her turn. |

He...nodded. Yes, everything was wrong. But he couldn't talk just yet. No, not yet. And she was just so nice. They had the best Head of House ever! One of the Healing Rooms? Another nod, "If that's okay," and another nod, "Which one?" that's all he could muster, and his voice was being so low he hoped she'd heard him. |

"You can come in." She held the door open for the girl to enter. Quote:
Lily offered another smile to him, and nodded to the healing rooms, "Room Three is best for me, you go ahead and I will be there shortly." She wasn't going to keep him waiting either, he looked mighty upset. |

Lily did not mind in the slightest. |

Treyen nodded. Room Three. You know, he's never been on one of those...but he was glad he wasn't technically injured. "It's okay," he said, while nodding. And with his sad face left to Room Three. How many were there? |
"Will do, sorry." *He gave Michael a warm smile and got up.* "Meet me outside alright." |
Well, it's time. Sticking her hands in the pockets of her robe, Chyler Canning made her way towards the Hospital Wing. Truly, it was the only place that held her interest in the castle, even though she's been here for over a month already. Surprisingly enough, her dad taught her so well that she found that during lessons she was quite knowledgeable, so Chyler had decided to keep to herself and only make contact with people while handing in the homework. And even that sometimes wasn't necessary, so she just kept to herself. As the redhead neared the waiting area, she couldn't help but feel pleased. All her fears about coming here had been squashed - as she had wished, she left people alone and they gave her the same courtesy. Chyler had grown quite fond of this. Taking a deep breath, she flicked the red fringe away from her eyes and knocked briskly on the door. This morning, she had woken up with a purpose, something that hadn't happened since before Hogwarts. Today, she was going to actually do something productive. Being a Healer was hard, and why waste an opportunity to talk to one? If she was already forced to be here, she might as well. As she moved to take a seat, her thoughts went out to Sam. If there were people around, the redhead took no notice. |

Jake was furious, but more upset than anything. He had lost the outer robes and was now using these to wipe his face clean of the blood from his nose which Lafay had fixed. When he got to the office he knocked loudly on the door, just short of hammering on it, and threw himself down to sit on the bench, using the robes to wipe his SLIGHTLY leaking eyes as well. Darn sleeved was red as well. |

"Jake." By the looks of him, something was quite wrong. She waved her arm back into her office, "Come in." |
knocking on the door then he takes his seat |
Preston was still extremely shaken from the dream he had the previous night, and it had him near tears just thinking about it. With a photo frame clutched to his chest tightly, he raised his other hand and knocked on the door of the office of the only person he knew to turn to while he was at Hogwarts. He stood there, looking down at his feet waiting for Miss More to answer as tried not to think about his dream about his late mother, he hugged his photo frame of the last photo he had taken with her closer yet to his body as if he was trying to hug his mother for comfort. |
Ellie. Was. Panting. Heaving. And very, very worried. "Morettiii," she called through the door with a shaky voice. KNOCKKNOCKKNOCKKNOCKKNOCKKNOCKKNOCKKNOCK. |
The door opened after the knocking subsided, and the Healer's voice came from inside the room, "Come in!" |
