"Faustus didn't just die," Kurumi said sadly still checking the skies for the owl. Which was probably exactly why Kurumi had sent an owl to a plant shop in London and ordered another cactus that looked just like Faustus. She hadn't been able to sleep that night after Eino had done it, and then almost dropped Walnut off as well, and she knew she had to do something to make it up to her Ravenclaw friend - even if he didn't realize what that was.

"I'm, um, waiting for a delivery."

"It feel right out the window- Eino sure is crazy."Adam mentioned shaking his head a bit more.

"Delivery? What for?"Now he was intrigued. Delivery , to him sounded suspicous, but she wasn't that type of person, so what could she be up to?

Adam had no choice but to tell the little guy, knowing a lie and living it as if it the cactus were truly his first pet was much worse than knowing Kurumi had faked it all. Just to make him feel 'better'.

Kurumi glared at Adam for a moment. Look who was talking about lying to friends now. Eino wasn't like other people, surely Adam realized that. Different or not Eino was still friend to both of them. And as much good as Kurumi wanted to be, Adam thought she would have realized it all by now. The fact of hiding something to someone was worse than the truth. He hated everything he had to do to her, but it was for the better.

"I don't want to crush him. I want Eino to know the truth. IF he were your friend he deserves that much from you..."Adam said stomping his foot.

Kurumi looked down at the cactus. She supposed Adam did make some valid points, but she just couldn't bring herself to tell Eino that he had killed his cactus. Then again, there were some differences between this cactus and the one he had before. Eino would probably figure out that this was not the origional cactus. "There is no need to stomp your foot at me, Adam Burn," she snapped still keeping her cool. "I have not raised my voice at you, so you shouldn't feel the need to either." Honestly, just because he had red hair did not mean he had to act like a tea kettle every time some sort of controversy reared it's ugly head.

Sighing, Kurumi set the cactus on the ground and then knelt beside it and just stared at it.

Sammy climbed into the owlery. She didn't come often, but this was EXXTREMELY important. Like seriously. She ignored the other people in there, they had they're on problems ... and Sammy had to send this letter. Or she would go crazy. She looked around for Katie's owl, it was only a short trip, she figured Katie wouldn't mind ... that and the school owls kinda scared her.

No sign of Destiny. Anywhere. "I so have to get an owl of my own" she said, still looking and clutching the letter to her chest. SHE NEEDED TO SEND IT! Or she would never know. ABOUT THE DOCTOR! *le gasp* Just as she was about to pick one of the school owls ... a familiar one swooped in. DESTINY! "hello hello" She went over to it, but it already had a letter in it's mouth. Samantha & Katelyn Star it was addressed to her aswell, so she took it and flicked it over in her hand. Deciding whether or not to open it. Well at least she could send her subscription for Dr. Who. Oh yeah, first thing on her mind... real classy.

Katie knew it was time to visit her favorite owl, Destiny, Katie skippe up the tower, she then thought she should write a letter to her parents, asking them why her father didn't say goodbye, and why she had those headaches an fainted quite a bit, SHE MUST KNOW! And of course how they were BUT IMPORTANT STUFF FIRST! And then she should also write about if they could send her some stuff over, not just ordinary stuff, stuff that she could give to Lukey, since it di give her a ring, which she was wearing right now, exactly were he had placed it, on her ring finger.

Pfft, A Series of Unfortunate Events is better, but Katie wouldn't say that to Sammy, because she might get upset, and she didn't want that happening, not now at least *shifty eyes* But then Katie stopped thinking, seemed her parents had sent her a letter before she could send them one, weird, maybe they wanted to explain why her father didn't come say goodbye? She looked up to her sister, "Should we open it?" She asked her, she wasn't sure is she wanted to read it, she didn't know why.

Sammy took her extended hand and pulled it up to her face to examine it closely. "it's bloody gorgeous" she said, turning her hand on a side to see it better, before letting go and eyeing her again. "Tee, you're twelve, why would your boyfriend give you a ring?" she asked suspiciously. She would get it out of her, that she would. Sammy never fails.... well most of the time she doesn't but whatever.

"I know right? It was his mothers ring, the one she got from his father as an engagement ring" She said, Katie then looked at Sammy oddly, Oh yeah, she wanted to know about the promise, right? She looked at her, with a face she hoped she'd never wear before. She left what she was doing and walked over to Katie, and put her arm around her shoulder, just incase either one of them needed a sister, with whatever news their mum had brought. "I don't think I've ever heard her address us so formally" she said weakly, squeezing Katie's shoulders.

"He gave you, his mother's ring?" she asked, not really expecting an answer. But giving her a weird look. She had known a guy exactly like Luke. Jay. And he turned into a complete chav.

"Well his mother gave it to Luke to give it to someone special" Katie said looking up at the roof, it made her so happy that Luke had given it to her, Katie looked back at Sammy and smiled, but the smile fadded a bit, she could tell Sammy was thinking about something, AND SHE WANTED TO KNOW WHAT! "Whats up Sammy?" She asked.

"Well his mother gave it to Luke to give it to someone special" Katie said looking up at the roof, it made her so happy that Luke had given it to her, Katie looked back at Sammy and smiled, but the smile fadded a bit, she could tell Sammy was thinking about something, AND SHE WANTED TO KNOW WHAT! "Whats up Sammy?" She asked.

Sammy listened. And gulped ... a lot. She squeezed her sister. But then the information rolled around in her head. She had been kidnapped as a baby, not lost. Kidnapped. She let go off her sister, and started pacing. Anger building up, like anger she had never felt before. Crazy amount of anger. Then she kicked a wall, causing a few owls too fly off hooting angrily "THAT COMPLETE-" she roared, staring at the ground, and forcing herself not to continue her cursing. "She kidnapped me. Little one year old me. What on earth posses someone to do something so ... so ..." she muttered angrily, unable to think of a word to explain it. Unable to think about what Katie was thinking. Just the fact the she had been KIDNAPPED. FREAKING KIDNAPPED.

Sammy still wasn't convinced. Someone special? Like who he married? KATIE WASN'T PLANNING ON GETTING MARRIED WAS SHE?! *horrified face* SHE'S TWELVE THOUGH! Then she heard the question. "nothing, just ..." she stopped. No, she didn't want to ruin it for Tee. "nothing"

Katie didn't pay attention to Sammy, its not like she didn't care, she did, it was because she was focused on her father, if she had known that he was going to die she would have said something special to him before she left to Hogwarts, and then she was also thinking about Sylvia, to think that some people are that mean! She was gonna get Katie killed! Ughh! Katie would not have that! But then again, she didn't want her father dying, never! Katie looked up at Sammy and watched her, another and another tear came to Katie, it seemed that Sammy was angry and Katie was sad, two bad feelings that a person would not like to hear.

Katie looked at Sammy oddly, once again Katie could tell she was in thought, KATIE WANTED TO KNOW WHAT! "no, no, no" she muttered, quickly grabbing the letter out of Katie's hand, not even noticing that she was crying. To check if there was anything about them. Slyvia-whatsherface might have punished them for not keeping her from the Stars. They could be dead. She could've killed them. "nothing. They could be dead. Annie could be dead" she said, re-reading the letter repeatedly. Tears started to pour down her cheeks. "not Annie, please not Annie" she sobbed miserably.

Sammy wasn't giving in that easily. "I told you, nothing." she said, giving the ring a quick glance before going back to attaching the letter to Destiny's leg. "seriously Tee, it's not important" she said accidentley. CURSES. That means Katie would know that the nothing was a something :O

Sammy continued sobbing. She couldn't stand if her father was dead, let alone the Mecans, the PEOPLE THAT HAD RAISED HER, OR ANNIE! BABY ANNIE! HER ANNIE! She felt the tap on her shoulder and looked at Tee. "I-I don't know, it doesn't say anything" she said through sobs. "but they could be dead. All of them, even Annie" she gulped. "but, whatsherface could've killed them, for not ... for not keeping me away from you" she said, fighting back sobs. She would NOT have a break down. "because she's just sick" she said, before sobbing again. Oh yeah, keeping it together ... yo.

Sammy sighed, "Fine, but don't go off at me" she said, before taking a deep breath and explaining. "do you remember Jay? my ex?" she asked, not even waiting for answer, she continued. "Well turns out, when I most needed him, he wasn't there" she continued. "Hence why I broke up with him, because he was never ANYWHERE. I could never ever find him." and here comes the fun part. "He dated my best friend, Amy before he dated me and he cheated on her, so I couldn't help but get suspicious. " she said with a shrug. "what I'm trying to say is, I don't think it's smart to put so much trust into him" she finished reluctently. DON'T KILL ME DON'T KILL MEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Katie cried more then before TO MANY PEOPLE WERE DYING!! Katie knew then again this maybe was not true, Katie wanted to keep her hopes high, she put her arm around Sammy and said "Maybe you should send them a letter? Just in case it isn't true" She smiled trying to keep her sisters happy meter high, she would rather everyone be happy, even though Katie was sad and crying.

Katie blinked a few times, not because of what Sammy had said, because she had no idea she had broken up with Jay, she was so confused now, maybe what Sammy said was true? Maybe she shouldn't trust Lukey lots? "Sammy, I think what you say is true, but its hard for me to believe Lukey could do this, he says he loves me..." She said looking out the window, Katie was very confused now.
