Sammy gulped back some more tears. She would get the hiccups soon ... damn it. "I guess your right" she managed, before opening her bag .... yes she had a bag, she ALWAYS has her bag, sheesh ... and looking through it for her parchment, ink and quill. Once she had found all three of the items, she handed Tee a piece of paper "I guess you'll want to write to someone aswell" she said, holding out the paper. Though paper wasn't much good without a pen. Ah well. She tried writing, but her hand was shaking a bit too much. But she had decided who she would write too. She would write to.... MILLIE. Millie was always visiting the Mecans, she would know. but she couldn't think of what to write. How on earth do you ask someone if their cousins are dead? O___o

Sammy sighed. "I'm not going to tell you who you should trust, just I don't want you to get hurt" she said, simply. Not mentioning that Jay had said he loved her too. Katie could decided whatever she wanted, Sammy would always be there for her anyway if she needed someone to talk to. "If you trust him that much, then fantastic" she said. Trying not to sound mean. But almost completely failing. Almost.

"I wasn't stomping my foot at you. I was stomping my foot on this nasty little bugger."He said trying to cover up his flaming red cheeks.

"If you want- to keep me in control being around Eino- you should come, so you could explain it to him that technically Eino killed his own pet by accident of course."He said in a much softer voice, kneeling down besides her, so that she knew, he wanted to be on the same page, and be just as caring as she was intending to be.

Kurumi rasied an eyebrow again. Nice try. Considering there was not a bug in sight - and if there was one of the owls would have scooped down and tried to eat it - Kurumi knew it was Adam's strange way of saying sorry for his temper.

"Keep you in control?" Kurumi asked a little confused. "You mean keep you from telling Eino that he was too naive and killed his own plant?" Kurumi had to admit, naive probably wasn't the right word...stupid was closer.

"You know how we get...We aren't the best f friends..."He said shamefully looking down around him at the owl droppings. It was a disgusting sight, yes of course, but many guys would find this reasonable- but Adam found it revolting.

"No. I want to tell him."He added. :lukevader:

This was news to Kurumi. She didn't know that Adam and Eino didn't get along. Then again, Kurumi had never spent time with the two of them together as a trio. "You and Eino don't get along?" she asked but already seeing how their personalities could very well clash. Eino was...well, Eino and Adam was...well, Adam.

"It's not that we fight...You saw us on the train, we are the more tamed male version of how Katie and I were around each other...We can't really get on with me thinking something odd of him, and he thinking I'm the weird one..."Adam explained.He sure hopped he thought Kurumi didn't think he meant that the two guys got in fights.

Oh dear. The tamed male version of the Katie relationship?! That certainly did not sound good. Eino was, thankfully, nothing like Katie. Kurumi supposed Adam was just using her as an example for how their heads and ideals butted. Eino certainly did have a different idea of how the world worked. The boy did have a cactus as a pet.

"I see," she frowned. Adam was her best friend and so much more. Coming in second, in terms of her male friends, was Eino. Not only that, but she had this strange feeling like her and Eino were connected somehow - and not in a romantic sense. No, it was more familiar than that. "Well, I think you both are rather odd," she laughed. Just in very different ways.

"Wh-wh-what?"He asked. Kurumi found him rather "odd".

Kurumi leaned her head against Adam's shoulder. "You can't honestly think that you are normal," she laughed. "Don't worry, people who are normal are not my type." Kurumi wasn't all that normal herself. How many 12-year-olds walked around with baking supplies in their book bags?

"Well, considering we have many different friends- I consider myself one of the normal people in this place."He assured her.

"So I'm your type...."Adam said suavely . At least, what he thought was normal was good enough to have Kurumi like him for two years, after all he had done to her, and his friends- she always came back.

Normal...could one really call any of them normal. Kurumi certainly had never felt normal. However, she felt more so now than she ever had before.

"Perhaps," she said sticking her tongue out. "Although, my type wouldn't leave me." She immediately covered her hands with her mouth. She hadn't meant to say that out loud. "I'm sorry, I-I-I shouldn't have said that."

As gentle as he wanted to be, and caring- he stepped aside, so Kurumi's head fell off his shoulder.

He stared at her to have the audacity to say such a thing of him.

"Well then- I don't WANT to leave you...Maybe if that's what you think of me- maybe I'm NOT your type. Maybe I am your practice before you get a true real boyfriend?"He asked rounding on her.

Ug...and here they went again. Couldn't they ever keep things happy for more than thirty minutes? Or thirty seconds as the case may be.

"Adam, that's not what I meant and you know it," she said calmly not moving from her spot. "I'm just having a hard time dealing with all this..."

She needed to bake cookies...lots and lots of them...NOW...

"I know. But you just let it slip out like nothing. Like if that's all you've been thinking ever since I told you the beginning of the term..."He said a bit more calmly.

Kurumi nodded. She knew she wasn't being fair, but her conversation with Fee and once again set all her emotions on edge. "I just...I don't have a good way of dealing with it...I don't want to do anything that I am going to regret," she said looking at the ground. "You mean so much to me and...and...when you leave...I feel like a piece of me is going to go missing..."

"I thought your way of dealing with things was by baking? But I guess not even baking or writing can truly hide some ones emotions, it only deepens it and keeps it more hidden."He said, didn't he know the feeling sometimes.

"Right...sorry...But it's life- and no matter how much I hate it, for the both of us, we need to accept life."He said hugging her.

"Adam, I am going to have to bake the world's largest cake to even begin to scratch the surface at how sad this makes me feel," she half laughed half cried. Not even the world's largest cookie would be able to do the job. Maybe if she baked the world's largest cookie 100 times it would help? She doubted that somehow.

"I know," she said hugging Adam back tightly. "I really should try and stop thinking about the last day...I am wasting the time we have left."

Removing some of the tears from her cheeks with the sleeve of her rob, Kurumi smiled up at Adam.

"Remember how we tried to ice skate last year? Well, there is a proper skating rink now."

Try number two? Minus the giant squid of course.

"You still think about it. The only time it's on my mind is when I tell a friend- I force myself not to think of it"He told her.

"Yes- I was there with Elyon the other day. We should go soon."He said. That had been an event, and now she was suggesting to go through it all over again

"I'll try my best to not think about it too," she smiled as she shyly took a hold of his hand with her own.

"Let's! And when we are done, we can warm up by the fire in the common room with hot chocolate," she suggested. Just a day of relaxing and having fun like the youngsters they were. Stress free. Just being themselves.

Ellie wasn't exactly sure how this worked. All she knew was that somehow, someway, she needed to get the pictures OUT of the camera. And she had a LOT. All those with Treyen and the museum...yeah, she needed them. Mostly, she was curious to see if the Groundskeeper would climb on the dinosaur.

So she trekked aaall the way to the owlery to find Screech and send the camera home. Her dad would know what to do with it, surely.


"Screech?" Hopefully he was even here...

Ronnie having not had an owl of her own, needed to use a school one. She forgot it ws her mom's birthday and needed to get this letter and card to her right away. She took the stairs two at time to get there in a hurry. She REALLY hoped that all the school owls weren't off delivering owls for other people.

Ronnie made it to the top clutching a stich in her side. Seeing a girl, she thought she reconized...maybe she didn.t Do you....know.....which....ones are....the school.....owls" Ronnie asked gasping for breath through, she was so winded from climbing the stairs.

Ellie...still...didn't...see...him.

Merlin, he better not be sleeping, "SCREECH!" She neeeeeded him.

But, what?

Ey! It's...that girl...the one that got a kneazle...or kitten...or something. "Uhmm..." Ellie looked around at all the boring owls hanging about, "No? Sorry."

They all looked the same! Heck, the only way she really knew that Screech was Screech was because he answered to his name.

'Twas a good thing there was only one Screech here, she supposed.

Unless there WERE more than one! And she accidentally used the wrong one! And then her camera wouldn't make it home! And then she'd CRY!

Let's not think about that....

"Maybe if you just waved the envelope in the air, or put your arm out a school owl will automatically come to you?" Perhaps?

Ronnie looked at her again...she knew her from some where...she remembered her....."You were with me when I bought Junie..weren't you?" She asked with a smile, she remembered her now! "How have classes been for you?" Ronnie asked now that she figured out where the girl was from...what was her name again... Ellen, Erin...Ember...Ebony..It did start with a E right?

Ronnie did as she suggested, she stuck her arm out..."Umm....I need an owl." She said to the whole flock of them abover, hopefully they would know themselves who was suppose to help her.

Was that what she'd named it? Honestly, Ellie couldn't even remember the human's name. Which...she wasn't going to admit. Besides, the girl probably remembered her, it would just be awkward. "Right," she nodded. Heh.

Ellie watched as she called out for an owl. Hopefully, one would come. Otherwise, she was at a loss as to what to do.

Veronica looked up into rafters opening that one would come down. "Umm...please?" She asked the owls watching her...and sure enough a HUGE brown barn owl swooped out of the rafters. "Manners get you far with birds." Ronnie laughed and gave the bird her letter. "Can you take this to Tammy Morgan? It's my mom." She asked and watched the bird fly out the window.

"So what brings you to the owlery." Ronnie asked her, still trying to think of her name. Eva...Emma...Eden...Eve...what the heck was her name!!!
