A little field trip was in order for the kids today. Literally really, considering they were on a field. The Playing Field, that Chad had very kindly let Isabelle have the use of for this lesson. It was just the right size....
Walking down the first thing you will notice is a GIANT curtain in the middle of the pitch, surrounding what, you may well think....All in good time. A long table is off to the side, with 4 wicker baskets, each with the name of a house on the front, and a large wooden box. A padlock is keeping the box firmly shut. Placed in neat rows on the floor are cushions, grouped by colour: Yellow, Red, Green and Blue - each with a stuffed toy perched on top. To the side is the blackboard from the classroom, bearing the following message:

Nika looked around and caught sight of another bunny. She quickly cast the spell before it could run away. Nika grabbed the little rabbit and petted it's soft fur. "AWW! You are so cute! Yes you are, Yes you are." She took the tag off of the bunnies neck and placed it into the other pen. She looked at the tag and then frowned. "But I already go the number 9! Oh wait oopsie!" She turned the tag right side up "Hehe it's six. Pshh I knew that."

Hearing someone yell for the professor, Evelyn stopped what she was doing and looked around for a moment, curious to know who'd just dare it. Aw of course. Josh.
Giggling quietly, the Slytherin girl turned back to the bunnies, only to realize that there were two hopping around as if chasing one another. Whaaaa!? WHY!? Which one should she catch anyway? Stop...stand still! SIT! GAH!
Kinda nudging her foot out to stop the two bunnies in place, Evelyn smirked before raising her wand to point at the first. If she was fast enough, she'd be able to catch both- EEP! Don't run so close Josh! Good Merlin, he could've scared away her victims bunnies! Like that one that was running away now. Pffft. Except this one...this was was kinda big and...slow. HA! "Incarcolvo." she said, watching the black weird thingy envelope the creature before turning into a cage.
There was a key right? And not one of those random bunnies with no keys? Hehe, seemed like she had at least SOME luck during this lesson. The number 39! Placing the key in the Slytherin box on the way to put the bunny away, the dark haired Slytherin girl paused by the board to cross off the number before going to capture more...fuzzy creatures.
A ship in harbor is safe — but that is not what ships are built for.
Savannah took a deep breath and took out her wand carefully. "Incarcolvo." she cried nervously, hoping not to get a bunny with no number, because that would be just sad. Savannah took of the number key bunny slowly, and carefully she let herself see the result. 34! Not bad, thougth Savvy as she crossed out 34 on the scoring board, and danced her way to her seat again.
Belle saw all the numbers getting crossed off. She immediatley took action! She went to get the bunny #74, she used the incantation "Incarvolo!" and trapped the bunny! But the bunny was shaking. After she let it out of her cage she hugged it. It was cuddling towards her ear. "Awww your soo cute!" she kissed it and let it back in. She took the key and kept playing. She put her number on the board.

Kurumi was beginning to wish she was a little older so her magic was a bit stronger...Did that mean she was like a piece of fruit? Perhaps she was more like an expensive type of cheese? She had read that those supposedly got better with age.
Her left arm began to feel exceptionally heavy from carrying the squeaking rabbit in its cage. "Just one more," she told herself as she dragged her feet around.
"Incarcolvo!"
She managed a literally half decent cage - the left side of it was more net than cage - and went over to the lock to pull out the key when...there was none.
She had re-caught one of her rabbits from earlier. Terrific.
She spotted another rabbit. "Incarcolvo!"
Once again...no key.
Looking around the area, she saw that several of the cages had either vanished or broke due to the length of time that had passed after each student casting the spell.
Well, this certainly made things interesting.
The rabbit under her arm began to squeak again, so Kurumi rocked it back and forth gently. "Why is it that you haven't broken yet?" she asked with a hint of frustration at the cage.
Noticing that the rabbit had its gazed locked on a brown one hopping nearby, Kurumi wondered if perhaps this rabbit was friends with the other one. As the brown rabbit began hopping further away from her, the one she held began to squeak and thrash around in the cage. Sighing, Kurumi took off after the brown rabbit.
"Incarcolvo!"
Now the brown rabbit was in a cage that had a key. Kurumi took the key and then scratched it off the board.

Kurumi then turned around to look at the brown rabbit and set the squeaking one down next to it so their cages were side by side.

Savannah watched intently as she watch the others. This is actually kind of fun, thought Savvy as she get really to catch another rabbit. Let's see...umm...which bun-"Incarcolvo!" she cried when she spotted a snowy colored bunny! But she's not as charming as she looks. It wiggled uncomfortably in Savannah's arms. "Hey! Hey-" and the bunny slipped away. "No!" Savvy sighed sadly as the pretty bunny hopped freely around on the field. She chased after the rabbit-which isn't easy because of the great speed of the rabbit. Aiming hard for the target Savannah yelled, "Incarcolvo!" This time, Savannah made sure that she have a tight grip on the rabbit. And turn over the number key on the snowy rabbit. There was no number. NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Selina was running about trying to locate another rabbit. Her last three had been without a number and she was beginning to grow frustrated at her lack of luck. Finally she caught sight of another rabbit and lunged for it. Once she went after it with her bare hands she remembered where she was and what magical tool was in her hand, "Incarcolvo!"
She attained the rabbit with ease and checked it's number while dropping it off in the pen, 81.

Sierra raced around the room in pursuit of a rabbit. There weren't that many left, which made it that much harder for her to locate one and catch it before somebody else did. Finally spotting one, she hurried over to it with her wand raised high. She started to aim at the creature, when...
Argh!!!
She frowned as a Gryffindor girl beat her to the rabbit. Determined to catch the next one she saw, she turned in the opposite direction and took off. Her wand was still raised and aimed forward, so when she finally came across another rabbit, she wasted no time in casting the spell. With her aim on the rabbit, she said, "Incarcolvo!"
...caught it! She hurried forward and checked the numbered key--ha! 86! She put the rabbit and the key away and then hurried around the room to find a second rabbit.
Selina watched a fellow peer from Slytherin capture a small bunny. It was seeming to be wrapping up- the lesson. After looking around for another bunny Selina's eye caught a small, helpless bunny who was being cast out of the group that was protecting one another. The poor thing was being rejected from protection. Selina wanted so badly to capture every bunny to make that bunny be the last one standing. However, Selina wanted to make the other bunnies suffer in fear while that bunny was set free of it's anticipation.
"Incarcolvo!" Selina snatched up the bunny and pet it to stop the tremors it was possessing. "Shh, it's okay. I got you... number 51. Don't worry, you're safe." Finally after a few minutes the bunny calmed down. Before Selina put it in the pen she made a mental note to inquire about perhaps keeping that particular bunny after the days lesson.

Helena looked around in the rabbits' pen for one to capture. She pointed her wand at one and said "Incarcolvo". A net shot towards the rabbit, capturing it.
She walked over to hold it and then walked with lucky number 84 to the Slytherin pen, constantly stroking it to calm it down. You know, rabbits were just so scared of everything.
Lucy went on to get some other bunnies for her house, she took a careful look at all the rabbits and chosed one. There i'll take you she said and whit the wand ready in her hand she said "Incarcolvo" and jabbed. The rabbit was cought. There i told you you can't run she said and took the key and wrote the number 26 on the board.

One by one, the bunnies were being captured and disappearing, and it was only a matter of time her luck ran out and she captured a rabbit that had no number. Well, her luck hadn't run out yet!
"Incarcolvo!" she said, jabbing her wand in the direction of a bunny that was hopping by, watching the cage surround it. Hmm, at least she was becoming a bit more confident with the spell, and her cages weren't looking all soft and limp as they were at the beginning of the lesson. Smirking, she picked up the cage and looked for the key...but alas, there was none. UGH! Frowning, she searched for another as she placed the bunny in the other pen before spotting one quite close by.
You shall be captured! "Incarcolvo!" WOOOT! Bunny with a numbered key! The number...30! Awesome. Placing the captured bunny in the next pen, and dropping the key in the growing slytherin pile of awesome keys, Evelyn crossed the number off the list before going back to capture more fluffy stuff.

K-Lee chased at another bunny, sending a spell at it. She would capture it! Hehe. After it was caught and she was holding it in her arms, K-Lee searched to see if it had a number. Frown. No number...
Well she shall try once more! "Incarcolvo!" Success! It had #76. Happy, K-Lee put the rabbit in the pen.

Lucy went on for another rabbit, the score was coming to twenty five, she got very excited and took her wand in her hand and said "Incarcolvo!" and jabbed. "Oh no what this no number, oh no it's the wrong one, i should try to another" she said and got herself ready for the next one.
She took a firm grip of her wand in her hand and said "Incarcolvo!" and jabbed, there i got you! she said and took the key and wrote the number 28 on the board.

Staaaare.
There was no way Destiny was going to hop on a rabbit and even if she did, weren't rabbits used to that kind of stuff anyway? She knew how many brothers and sisters rabbits had and all them rabbits hopping around at once, one was bound to get hopped on.
And she really didn't have to answer the why she was hopping did she? Couldn't Evelyn see that it was FUN!?
Obviously not.
Shaking her head, she hopped past her friend to drop off the now numberless rabbit and to mark the number she had off the board. She didn't even have to place the key in the Slytherin box, it kinda flew out of her hand when she heard the loud voice of Josh coming back. Hopefully he had his wand..or hopefully he didn't. Gryffindor could lose more points, she didn't care.
Back at the rabbit cage, Destiny did a quick, probably wrong, bunny count. There were't that many left! And there was going to be one less as soon as she caught another one. "Incarcolvo!" she said with the jabbing motion towards the rabbit and hopping over to the now caged animal, she picked it up to take the key off of it.
"OUCH!"
It bit her. But, at least she got her key and the number 73.

Seeing as the rabbits were now happy side-by-side in their cages, Kurumi left them alone and sought after another rabbit that was hopping by. After casting her spell, Kurumi rushed over to the cage and found there was no key.
*frown*
Kurumi then checked the board. "Oh, Gryffindor already has 25 keys," she squeaked as she climbed out of the pen and leaned on the fence.

She was INJURED!
ATTACK OF THE BUNNIES!!
Holding the cage waaay out in front of her, Destiny did not hop, she RAN as fast as she could to put the thing away. There was no way, if she was able to keep a rabbit, that she would keep THAT one. He was vicious! He probably wasn't even a rabbit! Professor Magnus probably put him there so he would bite her on PURPOSE!
Professor's were so mean sometimes.
Quickly disposing of the rabbit, she marked the number she had picked off the board and placed the key in the basket. They were almost finished for real this time! So there would be no more hopping around for her. She was just going to walk into that pen, cage a rabbit and then leave.
And that is what she did.
Walking into the pen, she cornered a not so vicious looking rabbit and jabbed her wand in it's direction. "Incarcolvo!" she said, and walking over to the now caged animal, she carefully removed the key. She did not want to be bit again.
I'm just one of those pretty little liars... | | I'm held down in this starless city...
Okay, another super cute and fluffy rabbit.
Helena walked towards the pen and pointed once again her wand at a rabbit. "Incarcolvo." She took number 41 and stroked it for a few moments. Its tiny heart was beating crazily. Maybe they weren't harming the rabbits but they were definitely scaring them.
Isabelle literally jumped when a bellowing voice greeted her ears. She'd had her back to the castle, and didn't see Josh coming - but she certainly heard him. "There is no need to shout, Josh! I am not deaf, thank you." She was just about to inform him of what they had been doing, when he'd figured it out by himself and started helping his house mates.
And it wasn't long before they were finished either. So now that was both Gryffindor and Ravenclaw done, and Issy was again beckoning a team over for their refreshments. "Well done, Lions. You all managed to get a cage set at least once, and certainly got better the more you tried." See? Practise makes perfect, as they say. "Slytherin, you only have four more keys to collect!" she called, grinning at them as they passed with the ones they did have. Hufflepuff on the other hand....there didn't appear to be very many of them in the lesson. Hmmm. At least none that were catching rabbits.
OOC: Once Slytherin have got their 25 I think we can stop, and assume that Huffies got the other ones. We'll be going forever otherwise. Then we can have a quick chat, and I'll set the homework just after. ^__^
Only four more keys to collect?! ...but then, one of her housemates had just nabbed one, so that'd be three more now!
Hearing that her house was nearly done and almost had a collection of all twenty-five keys, Sierra turned on her heels and hurried around the room. Gryffindor, she knew, was already finished, and if nothing else, Sierra just wanted her house to at least catch up to the Lions. Doing better than them would have been preferrable, though. Mehh. At this point, she just needed to find a key...or two...or even three.
Seeing a rabbit scurrying around nearby, Sierra raised her wand and aimed it right toward the creature. "Incarcolvo!" she said. With the rabbit now caught, she hurried over, retrieved the key (which was numbered 49), and then turned in both the key and the rabbit.
Elle squinted around the field, looking for any signs of rabbits. She searched far and wide, but to no avail. She was about to give up when she saw a shadow behind her bag. She walked over to it slowly and quietly in case it was the creature she was looking for. She gently pushed her bag aside and saw a big ball of fluff.
"Oh my gosh, you're so cute!" The redhead whispered to herself. She raised her wand and recited "Incarcolvo!". She picked up the poor bunny and apologized. Elle noticed that she caught Rabbit Number 98 and pulled out the key gently.
The First Year was petting it while heading for the Professor's direction.
Suddenly, she was something move beside a rock, pulled out her wand and muttered "Incarcolvo." She rushed up to see if it really was a rabbit. Yup. It was. She again noticed she caught Rabbit Number 82, got the key and ran to her Prof.
"Here they are, Professor," she beamed with pride as she returned the bunnies to Isabelle.
Simon looked at the Professor, he had thought that you could only catch one Rabbit otherwise he would have been going for more, he couldn't remember the Professor saying anything about collecting more than one maybe he just couldn't remember.
Simon smiled as he went after another Rabbit he would have to collect as many more bunnies as he could, he was using his wand and coming close several time then finally he managed to get another one.

They only had how many more to go? MEEP!
After watching two Slytherins add more keys to their awesome stash, Evelyn glanced around at the remaining bunnies. They were almost dooooooone! "Incarcolvo." she said, jabbing her wand towards one of the bunnies eating grass. MWAHA! You shall be captuuuured! Whether it liked it or not!
It...it probably didn't care since it continued to eat grass. Eh. Moving over to pick up the cage, she could've SWORN that the rabbit started to eat faster. Good Merlin...don't make a bald patch in the grass! Picking up the cage, she took out the key and gave it a glance. Number 76! Well, awesome. Putting the bunny away and scratching the number off the board, she paused by the Slytherin box and placed the key in. Hmmm...
"Are Slytherins done?" she asked, glancing towards the Professor.
