Having put the pieces of card on each individual desk, Isabelle had arranged them in a semi-circular fashion, for now at least. Depending on what they would be doing later on, they could be moved. It was easy enough. Having placed several boxes of bits and bobs on the large wall length table behind her desk, she was now leaning against her desk, arms crossed and a smile of greeting on her face.
As well as the professor, the first thing you see upon entering is the large blackboard behind her right shoulder. Upon it was a message for the incoming students:
Quote:
Please write your name, house and year on the card provided and place it at the front of your desk. Thank you.
OOC: As this was meant to open 3 hours ago (*pets SS*), I will not start the lesson proper until about 8PM GMT now. Please have your character enter and take their seat, filling out their details too. You can chat, but please DON'T do it excessively.

"Alright everyone. The incantation for this spell, as you can see on the board, is Comletia, and it is pronounced thus: Com-LET-e-AH. Have a go at getting that right, then we'll move to wands."
Helena looked at the box as many different watches made their way to everyone's desk. A small golden pocketwatch landed on her desk. She took it and examined it for a moment. She loved pocketwatches. This one had tiny black numbers on it and it looked really nice.
She started muttering for herself, but with no wand. "Com-let-e-ah, com-let-e-ah, comletia."
"Thank you for all the votes, it would appear that the majority of you have chosen the compass spell. A useful one for those that don't want to constantly use Point Me! And want something more permanent." Muggles for instance. And the kids did seem to think they got lost alot, so why not learn this? Plus the fact you could use it then keep your wand free for other things. Anyway, moving on.

As Emily was given her watch she frowned. A big blue wrist watch. Not what she would have chosen, but this was a lesson, not a watch shop.
If they were allowed to keep them she would simply use a colour-change charm on it to turn it red. Red was soooo much better than blue.
Emily's hand had reached for her wand, but stopped half way. No wands? Fine.
"Com-let-eah" she said slowly
"Comletia, Comletia" Good, at least she could pronounse it. Now let's move onto wands!
Isabelle narrowed her eyes at the older boy to her left. SOmething was wrong with him, he seemed - angry, was it? "More a charm, dear, but certainly helpful. And that is the sort of helpful idea I was after....Are you - are you alright, Mr Dakest?" Mhmm, she was concerned.

Arya seemed to be a deep thinker, and she had a point. To an extent.
"Everyone needs help occasionally, Arya, even muggles. They can't all help themselves, especially in some situations - the ladder and roof for instance." Probably a lame example, but she wanted to use one a child had already said. "If we can use magic to assist, even if it's just a little bit because it was the easier option, wouldn't you want to?"
Isabelle smiled at the girl, hoping that she could see from her view why they were doing this lesson. She knew muggles weren't completely helpless, but being helpful wasn't a bad thing. "And I think maybe Human Transfiguration is a bit much for the first lesson of term, but it is a good idea. Thank you."

He honestly didn't realize the Professor had spoken to him until she said his name. It brought his eyes up for a brief moment to glance at her through his blurred vision as he tried to get a handle on what she had said. Instead of answering vocally, he simply gave a quick nod of his head and shifted forward, unfolding his arms and resting one elbow on the table to prop his head in his hand. The other went to absently scratching lines at the top corner of his parchment. His jaw tightened at the Professor's answer to Arya's question, at the reasoning that if it made things 'easier' then it was good. He couldn't conclude that was exactly what was meant, but he knew some students would take it that way, and easier things were hardly better in the long run.
It helped a little, to focus his attention on the scratch of his quill against the paper and the voting that went on for the next few minutes. When the watches were distributed and his came to rest in front of him, he simply stared at it for a long moment. His mind was numb as he stared at the irony before him. They had chosen an object to bluntly represent time and change it to direction, when everything about the statue depended upon, in the past and the present, time and direction. While it was hardly intentional, it was nonetheless prominent.
Placing his quill beside his parchment, he picked up the watch in his free hand and ran his thumb lightly over the glass, feeling the quiet vibrations as the second hand ticked in much the same way his quill had. "Comletia..." The word came out quiet as he frowned at the device. It was called being prepared.

Kita looked down at the wrist watch that had landed on her desk. She loved wristwatches. Although this one seemed to be a boys one. Definitely not one of her favourites. Ah well. At least it was blue.
Comletia. That was pretty simple to say right? "Com-let-e-ah!" she said, making sure that she pronounced it correctly, "Com-let-e-ah! Com-let-e-ah! Com-let-e-ah." Kita knew she looked weird by saying the spell slowly and waving her hand as if she was telling someone to exhale. Then she decided to say it all in one go. "Comletia!" A smile spread across her face. She was right: it was pretty simple to say.

OOC: I'll be back a little later, feeling a bit ill right now. Please just have your character inspecting their watches and practising the incantation - NO WANDS YET. No excessive chatting please, just keep it to the learning. Thanks.
Rowan inspected her watch. She had been given a pocket watch that reminded her of the one her father once had. She realized that she was starting to get teary-eyed so quickly began to focus on the incantation. "Com-LET-e-AH," she sounded out to herself. After doing this a few times she said it out loud. "Comletia, Comletia, Comletia." There, she thought. That sounds right.
Benjamin thought about what the girl had said. So she's a muggleborn and a metamorphmagus. This is interesting....
"Professor, the cage one, does that mean we make the muggles into cages? Or just turn simple things into cages?" The latter of the two was boring, but the first one seemed extraordinary to him. "But anyways, I vote for the oil one." He had ulterterior motives for that spell. "And can't we break up into groups for this lesson? The ones who what to learn the compass, can learn that spell, while the few of us canlearn the oil one? That would be the democratic thing to do, wouldn't it?"
After hearing that there were watches coming out to them, he gave a deep sigh. He saw a closed pocket watch coming toward him, he grabbed it from the air and slammed it down on his desk. Blasted people with the bloody compass, he thought to himself. Oh well. let's see if I can do this without killing the watch.
He muttered to himself aloud,"Com-LET-e-ah. Comletia, comletia. I think that's right. Bring on the wands. I believe I can do this." He picked up the watch, rolled it in his hand and then opened it up. It was a very nice watch. silver, locketed, no scratches or dings. Inside was a picture, faded, but clear enough to see a male, female and a baby. Benjamin wondered who owned this watch before it was stuffed into a box full of ratty and tattled watches. It inerested him, so he rolled it in his hand again to look for any kind of signs as to who owned it. It was plain. But it had belonged to someone.
"Professor? Can i see you after class to discuss something? I'd be very thankful if we could."

Lexi pouted just a little bit when the professor said they were learning the compass thingy. Sighs. Meh. Would be interesting to transfigure a pocket watch into a compass. Grabbing her watch as it came to her desk she set it aside and left her wand in it's holster.
Clearing her throat she repeated the incantation aloud, "Com-LET-e-AH, Com-LET-e-AH, Com-LET-e-AH, Com-LET-e-AH, Com-LET-e-AH." She then went about repeating it in her mind. She could TRY a nonverbal for this. She could and she WOULD. Hehehe. Shooting a glance around she smiled.
Oh great. The majority chose the boring compass one. Whatever guess I gotta give it a shot. Chloe picked out a pink wrist watch from the basket. Okay, for now I have an awsome watch and now I have a spell to learn to turn it into acompas soom. "Comletia", "Comleteea, Comletiaa. That should be enough for now, hopefully we shall be moving on shortly.
Jaina giggled some more. "Well, there are fire engines and there are fire trucks. If it's a brush fire, then you would need a brush truck or fire helicopter. My next door neighbor was a fireman and he told Joshua and I all about the fire equipment." She would have just said fire engines years ago, but since she got the lesson, she now knew the difference. "You could use transfiguration if there was an accident. Like if two cars hit and someone was pinned in one of them, you could transfigure the piece trapping them into paper so it could be broken easily. Just a thought." She had lots of thoughts on how to help muggles....after all, she was could at helping people.

OOC: I will add in here anyone I missed while typing this, but for now I will move on to the next part. Choosing what to do!
------------------------------------- "Now then, as you can see it's not a long list, due in part to what I mentioned about difficulty, time, space, etcetera. But I would like you to choose which of these spells you would like to try and learn today. One vote each please." With a smile, Isabelle looked out across the assembled students. She had faith they could do any of them.
"Ohhh...So that's what it's called. Fire...truck." she smiled and thanked Jaina. As she wrote down a couple of more things she heard the Professor talking once again. A new assignment, great.
Alice scanned the board of options. She already knew how to use Aquamenti from books and from her parents. Alice wanted to do something more challenging but didn't want to be a show off either, maybe the Incarcifors would be a fun activity. By the time she had finish deciding the subject had been chosen, Alice sighed softly then turned around to face the front. "Learning to change a watch into a compass. How amusing." she thought to herself then frowned. "Completia." she said softly without a flaw.

Jaina still glared at the boy. I'd like to turn HIM into a cage. she thought vehemently. How dare he say that! If I only knew a hex...
She shook her head once morequickly to make it look like she was checking on her friends and brought her attention to the watch that was placed before her. She looked to Belle and Alice. "Well, let's have a go at it then." she said with a smile. She closed her eyes with deep concentration and recited "Come-LET-e-AH!" she said.
Yeah, I bet he'd like to see her after class...probably to see if he can put me in a cage to be his pet. She was gonna hunt him down after class and find out his problem.

Nika looked around and saw that other kids had already said the spell and got everything done with. So Nika grabbed the watch that the proffesor placed on her desk. It was a HUGE pocket watch. "Who would ever carry around one of these." She said half to herself.
She held the watch in her hand and weighed it. "Wow, this must be 5 pounds." Nika went to place it down on the desk when the wand slipped out of her hands.
and SMASH
The watch hit the desk and shattered. Nika was so embarrassed her cheeks turned red. She could already tell that transfigueartion was not going to be her type of class. "Err excuse me professor. I accidentally dropped my watch. Nika looked at the professor hoping she wouldn't get mad. "I-I didn't mean to. It slipped. I'm really truly sorry Professor."

Sierra slowly turned toward the older Gryffindor girl who'd spoken up and pretty told anyone with ears that Sierra's idea was wrong and couldn't be used.
Well, pin a rose on her nose!
Sierra immediately gave her a roll of the eyes then turned her attention back to the professor. She'd catch this girl in the corridors one of these days, but for now, there was no way she was going to lose house points over some big-mouthed Lion.
...and she supposed this girl thought her marshmallow and pillow filled holes would surprise a muggle any less than the summoning charm?
Right. Because there were just so many marshmallow-filled holes already decorating Muggle London that it would be of no surprise to anyone. Not even the non-magicals. Psh. Yeah, right.

"I would say Accio is more of a charm, as we are not conjuring or changing the appearance of the thing. And I was more thinking about little ways we could help them, rather than teach them things. They'll never be able to perform magic, as you know. But helping with chores in some way for a muggle you know, is not a bad idea. Thank you." Smiling, Issy turned towards the next person.

...and it totally didn't help matters that the professor just dissed her idea, as well. Bah.
Sierra was going to fail her first year at Hogwarts! Why was every subject suddenly concerning muggles?! ...and here she'd thought it was just Muggle Studies she had to worry about failing!!! She made an inward sigh and brought her head down on her desktop with a soft thud.
She needed a tutor!!!

Having just cast her vote for the compass spell, Sierra diverted her attention to the large pocket watch that had recently taken up residence on her desk. She eyed it with disgust, mainly because she was so upset at herself for not being as brilliant at everything like her older sister was.
With the look of disgust still on her face and her eyes still on the watch, Sierra said, "Comletia!" She wondered what the spell would do once she had a wand in her hand. She'd tuned out the last few minutes of the lesson while her mind had been filled with thoughts of having to repeat her first year. "Comletia!" she said again.

Kurumi frowned for a moment. No Incarcifors? Did that mean that they were going to practice it another day? Personally, Kurumi wasn't sure that many non-magical people these days were still using compasses. Sure, people and cars still needed to know where they were going, but using navigational instrument for determining direction relative to the Earth's magnetic poles, well, it just didn't seem like it was the first thing that she would want telling her where to go. Her cellphone had a special GPS thing in it that she just pushed a button and it gave her a map of where she was at. Then again, if there was no signal...she supposed that having a compass would be helpful.
-shrug-
Kurumi picked up the watch that was handed to her and laughed slightly. It reminded her of a TV program that her father used to watch that involved aliens and exploring strange new worlds. Seeking out new life and new civilizations. It was kind of nice to find a small comfort that reminded her of the father that she knew - not the man that she had found in a library book. Holding the watch in her hand, Kurumi pretended like she was holding her wand in her wand hand, when the reality was that it was still in her wand holster in her robe's pocket. "Comletia," she said in as clear a voice as she could while she pretended to give her wand a wish and flick.
"Professor, will the compasses that we transfigure compensate for magnetic inclination?"

Annabelle understood what the professor said. She took her watch and pronounced the incantation "Comletia!" she said. She felt the ticker on the watch move a little bit. She said over and over again because she felt it was a cool word to say. She waited to get another set of directions.
Nika looked around and saw that other kids had already said the spell and got everything done with. So Nika grabbed the watch that the proffesor placed on her desk. It was a HUGE pocket watch. "Who would ever carry around one of these." She said half to herself.

SMASHHHH!
Isabelle spun on the spot to see what on earth the noise was. Considering they hadn't been using their wands, it was unlikely that anyone had blown something up. Unless they weren't doing as they were told? But no. The scene that greeted her eyes was just broken glass, bent metal, and a red faced child.
"It's alright," Issy smiled. She wasn't mad about that. Not at all. In silence the Canadian mended the watch and smoothed her hand over the newly formed glass. "Just try to be a little more careful, okay?" she said, handing it back to the girl, before turning her attention to the boy who spoke....

Breath, Issy. He is a first year, you can't shout at him, even if your head wants to explode. "Mr Trevors - no, Incarcifors would not turn the muggles into cages, it was simply an idea that could help them with the capture of things. Robbers, rats, for instance."
Democratic? Of course she could have just not let them choose at all. Patience, Isabelle. "The majority of your classmates chose the compass spell. Now I'm sorry your choice did not win out, but that is the way voting works. Majority. So please just keep practising the incantation. And of course you may come to my office after class, by all means." Just give me time to get rid of this headache. Isabelle smiled as walked over to the window and flung it open. Air. Now.
-----------------------------------------------
"Right everyone," she smiled from her position by the window. "It would seem that you are all set with the incantation, now onto the wand movement." Isabelle took out her own wand again and held it in front of her for them all to see. "Firstly you make a small cross shape - top to bottom, left to right. Then you carry that through to a small circle shape finished by a gentle jab at the item you are changing. But you do not need to touch it." She demonstrated what she meant by applying it to the watch she had left on her desk. Cross shape, circle, jab. "One long, fluid movement, no stopping and starting or it won't work correctly.... Comletia!" With a poof the watch became a bright red compass, similar colouring to what the watch had been. She held it up for them to see.
"Now if you wish to change the appearance even further, beyond merely making it a compass, you need to concentrate even harder, and more completely on what you wish the final object to look like." Placing the new compass back down on the desk, Issy leant her bum against it as she looked at the kids. "Concentration and intent are key to making sure you get the exact thing you are aiming for. Now please practice the wand movement without the incantation, and once you feel you have mastered it, move on to doing the two together."
Feeling the cool air blow on her face, Isabelle closed her eyes and smiled. It was helping. "If you make any mistakes, or simply want to keep practising more than the once - which I hope you do - I shall revert the compass back for you to a watch, or you can ask one of the older students for help with that. I'm sure they'd be more than willing." Right? "You may begin."
OOC: I'm going to have get an early night, I'm sorry. Just continue practising, first with just wands, then with wands and incantation. You can chat a little, but please don't go overboard. I might not be here, but Professor Magnus is still in the room, and with her headache she will take points. So please have your character behave.

Clearing her throat, Issy walked back to her desk and leant against it, rubbing her temples. She'd need a clear head. Maybe she should open the windows after all.
More than slightly annoyed at the boy's comment, Charley raised her hand in a.... dignified manner.
"Well, I agree with Jaina. Both about muggles and which spell we should learn," she said as if reporting, making certain to put quite a bit of emphasis on certain words, speak confidently. She thought of how her family spoke-the Slytherins, really, it was practically in the House description-and tried to replicate Lauren and Nathaniel's demeanours.

While she felt a bit...defeated, Charley was, as usual, going to at least attempt to make the most of the lesson. She put her wand back into her bag and began to practise the spell, shooting a tinge of a smile towards Jaina and towards Belle. They were still the trio of first-years they had been in their Charms lesson regardless.
----------------
She continued practising the incantation until Professor Magnus spoke again.
That isn't too terribly difficult, she thought after the woman described the wand movement.
She took her wand from her bag and started practising that, first by itself, then adding the incantation. Once she became more forceful in the movements, the darling sea green
pocket watch Professor Magnus had placed on her desk grew into a slightly larger, deep green compass.

"Now then, as you can see it's not a long list, due in part to what I mentioned about difficulty, time, space, etcetera. But I would like you to choose which of these spells you would like to try and learn today. One vote each please." With a smile, Isabelle looked out across the assembled students. She had faith they could do any of them.

Walking to the table behind her desk, Isabelle took a deep breath and picked up one of the many boxes. "In here I have a range of watches - wrist ones, pockets ones, big, small. I'll pass them out to you all then we can concentrate on getting the incantation correct, along with the wand movement." Placing the box down on her desk, Issy lazily flicked her wand and watch after watch made it's way to a students desk. "Once you have had a chance to get the feel of your watch, you can try the proper pronunciation of the spell. WITHOUT wands first." She emphasised that bit. Didn't wand them to blow something up because they didn't do the right wand movement.
"Alright everyone. The incantation for this spell, as you can see on the board, is Comletia, and it is pronounced thus: Com-LET-e-AH. Have a go at getting that right, then we'll move to wands."
OOC: I'll be back a little later, feeling a bit ill right now. Please just have your character inspecting their watches and practising the incantation - NO WANDS YET. No excessive chatting please, just keep it to the learning. Thanks.
Raven walk toward the box took a wrist watch, he imagine how he transfigure it into a compass while going back to his chair. "Com-LET-e-AH, Com-LET-e-AH, Com-LET-e-AH, Comletia" Raven practicing the incantation, looking at the wrist watch

Raven drew his wand, Now Raven is practicing the wand movement, still looking at the wrist watch, no incantation. He bear the will to conduct such magic, he move the wand like making a small cross shape - top to bottom, left to right, then a small circle shape, and lastly a jab, Cross shape, circle, jab; Cross shape, circle, jab; Cross shape, circle, jab; Cross shape, circle, jab. "Woooh, what a wand movement not a hard one" Raven say weakly, but still he knew, placing the wand movement and incantation is different.

Reason: adding prof last post
Gryffindors...
...and it totally didn't help matters that the professor just dissed her idea, as well.
[COLOR="Blue"] Seeing the face on the Slytherin screw up at the look of the watch she had just recived.then looking to Pink wristwatch he had been given "Pssst ....Pssst Sierra wanna trade" holding up the watch so she could see

Nika started to breathe once again, "Thank you Professor. I promise I will be more careful." She was relieved that her professor wasn't mad at her. After being in potions class she expected the worst. Mrs. Lafay wouldn't let her off so easily. She started practicing the spell without her wand to make sure that she didn't mess anything else up. "Com-LET-e-AH" She repeated it over and over again until she was sure that she knew what she was doing.

"Okay Nika, Cross shape, circle, jab. Cross shape, circle, jab. Cross shape, circle, jab. " Nika was talking to herself. Trying to focus on fluid movements. "Come on Nika. You can do this." She took her wand and did everything she could to get it right. She tried with the wand and she did it. Now to make it a little more detailed.

"Possibly yes. Especially if they were going near something dangerous." Smile. Decent thinking.
Di smiled to herself.
The voting wasn't as long as Dianna thought it would be. People voted here and their and in the end they went for the compass thingy. Honestly, she wanted the oil for some reason it seemed easier but never the less she waited for her watch to arrive.
Tracing the watch with her wand , Di said the incantation a few times before moving on with the real thing. She watched the professor cross, circle, and jab before her red watch turned into a red compass.
Concentrating, Di took a deep breath before doing a small cross shape, then a circle finishing off with a gentle jab and saying, "Comletia!"
Smiling to herself, she picked up her now compass and check to see if their were any mistakes. "Reverto," and her watch came back. Now to practice again.

Breath, Issy. He is a first year, you can't shout at him, even if your head wants to explode. "Mr Trevors - no, Incarcifors would not turn the muggles into cages, it was simply an idea that could help them with the capture of things. Robbers, rats, for instance."

Watching the movment michael trys to mimic them trying to rember was it up down right left or up down left right.Abit distracted by the flush look on his teachers face "Ms are you ok ... do you need me to go get you a Headache Draught from professor Lafay or Ms Morttie"
Benjamin practiced a few times with just the wand movement. once hed thought he had mastered that, he sat the large pocket watch in the middle of his desk.
"Let's hope I get this right."
He pointed his wand atthe middle of the watch nervously. He said the spell one more time with his wand towards the next deck and practiced the spell. Immediatly the desk shrank and turned ito was appeared to be a compass. he smiled brightly and pointed his wand and the watch.
"Comletia," he said while doing to the movement with his wand. Immediately, ina puff of smoke, the old pocket watch turned into a compass with a chain and the locket door. He laughed loudly as he saw this, but then he felt a tingling move up his arm to his shoulder.
"I'll be back, need to use the lavatory really quick," he said as he quickly grabbed his thiings and the compass he just made. And rushed out of the door. He laid his wand in his palm and said, "Point me!" the wand swirled in a circle, and stopped pointing behind him. He turned and headed to the closest bathroom. Once in, he quickly took off his robe and hung it up, then took off his vest and draped it over the the next sink and loosened up his tie and pulled it over his head and laid iton his vest. he opened his shirt up and pulled it down to where the runes on his arm were showing, and they had gotten darrker along with the ones that from his wrist to his elbows.
"Oh no. No! this can't happen to me! I'll write to my father first thing after this class and ask him if this is supposed to happening.Merlin's pants. I can't have this happening to me. Not now! God!"
He quickly put his clothes on like they were before, and grabbed everything, and went back to class, sitting itthe back row. he laid his wand down and grabbed the other compass that used to be a desk and laid it next to the locket one. He just shook his head at both of the compasses sitting on his desk. And shook his head some more.
[SIZE="3"]"Right everyone," she smiled from her position by the window. "It would seem that you are all set with the incantation, now onto the wand movement." Luin had been practicing the incantation without her wand and when the professor started to speak again she stopped, looking up at her. She watched the wand movement and then watched as the professor demonstrate the spell. She practiced the movement a few times with her wand, trying to get the hang of doing it. After she felt like she had it down exactly to the best of her abilities, she looked at the compass that sat on her desk. She performed the wand movement, cross, circle, jab, "Comletia!" the watch turned in to a blue watch. She frowned, not quite. She tried again, this time the numbers disappeared. She then started once again, finaly managing to turn it in to a compass.
"Good idea, yes, although you would have to be there with them." And not many wizards of witches worked in muggle areas. "What sort of thing would you do? Transfiguration wise."
Fallon really wished she would've thought that through before she'd answered. Now she just felt embarrassed and well, not that smart. "Um...I hadn't really thought about that."
Thankfully, Professor Magnus just went on with her lesson, saving Fallon from more embarrassment. She looked over the list that they had to choose from and didn't really care for either one. She decided to go with the majority at the moment and just see what the spell could be.

"Alright everyone. The incantation for this spell, as you can see on the board, is Comletia, and it is pronounced thus: Com-LET-e-AH. Have a go at getting that right, then we'll move to wands."
Fallon probably should have paid more attention to what the majority spell was. She did not foresee how the compass spell was going to help her. She didn't get lost really and if she did, she wasn't afraid to ask someone for help. It didn't matter though because she'd be learning it anyways.
Fallon watched as all of the watches floated towards the students. She smiled once she looked at the one in front of her. It was a really nice looking pocket watch and looked like something that her dad would own. Feel of your watch? She looked around to see what the other students were doing. They just seemed to be looking at them and such so Fallon figured that she could just skip that part.
No wands right away? That was a bummer. Ah well. Sometimes you needed to get the incantation right before actually doing it. "Com-LET-e-AH." Fallon said once hoping that she was pronouncing it correctly. She said it a couple more times before turning back to the professor. She just wanted to get on with the lesson already.
SPOILER!!: Professor

Fallon finally had the incantation down and was glad that they were going to start using their wands. She listened very carefully to the movements. She'd seen to many mishaps happen because of improper wand movements.
Once it was time to start, Fallon pulled out her wand and pointed it at the watch. She took a deep breath before making the movement. For some reason, new spells always made her a bit nervous. Fallon went through the wand movements while she said, "Comletia." Nothing happened.
It always seemed to go this way, but she usually caught on rather quickly. She tried once more. Then again and again. Finally, the watch face disappeared and was replaced with a compass face. It wasn't perfect but it was pretty close. Fallon was determined to get this right. "Comletia."
Finally, her watch was gone and decent sized compass sat in front of her. Fallon grinned, proud of her accomplishment.
Jaina sat practicing her "compass making." She was enjoying watching everyone else practice, too. Even seeing that Slytherin boy turn stuff into compasses made her smile. She had never seen this before and was absolutely loving Transfiguration! "Comletia!" she said as she pointed to the locket. She had concentrated hard on it until "Slytherin boy" jumped up in a flash to use the bathroom. Wow, that's really bizarre! He left in a hurry. she thought. It was weird because he hadn't done it in any other classes today. Oh, she was so getting him after class. "Alice, Belle, Charley...we gotta keep an eye on him." was all she managed to squeek out since they were supposed to be practicing and not talking too much.
