Transfiguration Lesson I Having put the pieces of card on each individual desk, Isabelle had arranged them in a semi-circular fashion, for now at least. Depending on what they would be doing later on, they could be moved. It was easy enough. Having placed several boxes of bits and bobs on the large wall length table behind her desk, she was now leaning against her desk, arms crossed and a smile of greeting on her face. As well as the professor, the first thing you see upon entering is the large blackboard behind her right shoulder. Upon it was a message for the incoming students: Quote:

Selina walked into Transfiguration and checked her bag to see if she had her quill, ink, parchment, and her book. When it was on place Selina walked up to her Professor's desk. Brushing a hair behind her ear she said, "Good morning Professor!" With that she made her way to her desk and made her card. Quote:

Transfiguration? YES! finally! Hyun walked in to the classroom with a good feeling in his stomach. Back at Durmstrang, his favorite and best subject had been Transfiguration. He wondered how the lessons would be at Hogwarts. He looked around the classroom and proceeded to towards one of the desks at the front. He took a seat behind the desk and pushed his hair out of his face when he looked up. "Hello, Professor" he greeted with a nod of his head and started to read the large blackboard behind the professor. Hyun placed his bag on his desk and opened it up. He looked but couldn't find a quill at first sight. He placed his hand in the back and pushed his books , paper and candy aside to find one. Finally his fingers found the quill and he placed his bag back on the ground next to him. Grabbing the card on his desk, Hyun wrote down the things he needed to write and placed the quill back on the desk before leaning back with his arms behind his back, rocking the chair back and forward. Transfiguration. The technically worst lesson of Jake's. He entered the room with his robes tucked into his bag and the sleeves of his shirt rolled up, tie loosened. It was too HOT. Or at least it was to Jake; the young man found himself holding a hand to his brow before sitting and eyeing the card. Really? Here he was probably sick and he had to write stuff? Admittedly he did get very annoyed at stuff easily when sick. Writing a simple 'Jake' on his card (well she knew who he was), the boy dumped his bag on the flier and leaned back in his seat once actually... you know... seated. |
Kita walked to Transfiguration, knowing fully well that she was early. But then again, it was Transfiguration, a lesson she looked forward to a lot. Upon walking into the classroom, she wasn't surprised to find that there was no one there. Talk about awkward. "Hello Professor," she said as she wound her way towards the middle of the classroom and put her bag on a desk where a single card sat there. A confused look crossed her face as she looked up. "Name, house, year," she said as she read the instruction on the board. She took out her quill and ink, still slightly nervous about the lesson. Dipping her quill into the inkpot, she wrote: Quote:

With measured pace Salander reaches the sixth floor and walks into the Transfiguration classroom. He was determined to do better this term- no more distractions. Just focus, focus, FOCUS. Casually he glances to the side and greets "Mornin' Professor Ki--" and stops short. He turns. There is a woman sitting by Kingsley's desk. He blinks a few times, twists half-way round then turns back to face the front. Same classroom but.... "...Oh I get it!"he grins. "This is what we're gonna do today arent we Professor? We're gonna transfigure ourselves into the opposite gender?" Yeah that has got to be it. His eyes falls on the cards on the desks and the writing on the board. ''We're submitting our names for the Secret Santa too?" ..... in October? Quote:

Katelynn walked into her first Transfiguration class. In front of the blackboard stood their teacher; she looked at her with a smile, and said "Hello professor" before she sat down at a free desk. She looked at the blackboard. "Name, year, house?" she mumbled to herself. She looked down a the little card in front of her, and took out her quill and ink. She dipped it once, and wrote: Quote:

TRANSFIGURATIONNN! Hugo exitedly entered and took a seat. New teacher? New teacher. He liked the old teacher. Let's see what this new teacher had in store. "Good day, professor," he said politely, then noticed there was a piece of paper on his desk. Everyone was writing their names, so Hugo did too. Quote:

Isabelle eyed Jake as he took a seat, taking in his appearence as well as his lack of filling in the information. Good job she already knew it. "Jake," she smiled, leaning forward slightly. "Are you alright? Do you need to nurse?" Quote:

Now Kaia had a presumption that the Transfiguration teacher was a man, because her father had said that Lori had mentioned it or whatever. Kai didn't pay much attention when her father told her things about Hogwarts, that her half-sister had told him. She'd much rather find out herself, thank you very much. But when she entered, she raised an eyebrow carefully as to not be thought of as weird or nosy, and then proceeded to smile at the WOMAN there. "Good Morning Professor!" Because it was certainly a good morning, considering mornings were fun, and that. Sliding into a seat towards the front, Kai quickly wrote down everything that everyone else was. Of course, it applied to her, and not them. Quote:

UGH. Ellie had forgotten Kingsley had gone until her foot hit the landing of the 6th floor. Now, not only did she have that weird feeling in her stomach because she wasn't sure what to expect from a new professor, but she also felt guilt that she'd forgotten. She walked into the classroom and smiled at the professor. Treyen had said she was alright. So...she must be alright. She walked to a desk and filled out the card. SPOILER!!: Info Heh. She was pretty sure that was the first time she'd written 'third year'. It felt weird. When she was finished, she sunk into a more relaxed position and chewed on her lip, waiting for the lesson to start. |
Benjamin finally found his way to Transfiguartion. He saw the professor, and said, "Good day to you Professor." then he found a seat in the back and went to sit there. Enough to stay out of the way of everyone who knew what they were doing. He looked up and saw some of the students writing on the small piece of paper. He pulled out his quill and ink. He wrote on it Quote:

Now that she'd met the new professor, and decided that she would be a good one, or was at least nice enough...the teen skipped happily into the classroom, a smile on her face. Her eyes settled on the woman after scanning the classroom for changes. "Hey, professor." As always, she took a seat towards the front, making sure to be surrounded by empty seats so her friends could join her, smoothing out her uniform as she did. Catching site of the board, she pulled out a piece of parchment and quill, scribbling down her information before placing it on her desk and letting her eyes and thoughts drift towards the window. Ronnie went into class ready for the day. She was prepared to work hard and be the first person to master the spell. Yeah right, but at least she can have high hopes. She smiled thinking about the fact that she had not had an episode yet! And she was really hoping that wouldn't change any time soon. She looked down at the dest she sat in...oh....right..they always had to do this. Ronnie Sopps Hufflepuff 3rd Year She wrote looking around to see what every one else was doing. |
Transfiguration. Finally. Annie was craving for some wand mid-action to be done, since she hadn't taken hold of hers for quite a long time. And why, because she was afraid of breaking it, like her sister did to her last one. Anyways, she walked into the classroom and took a deep breath, looking around the students and watching them sit down and starting to write on some piece of parchment. Slowly, she sat down and took the piece of paper and with a small quill she wrote this: Text Cut: notes Sigh. Seventh Year, it was Annie's last and it made her feel sad, although kind of excited at the same time. She waved at the professor and placed the parchment in front of her again. |
Effy slipped silently into the Transfiguration class. Well, she tried to at least, but accidentally bumped into a chair causing it to almost fall over. She quickly caught the chair before it could fall to the ground and cause even more noise. She righted it before ducking her head and taking another seat. Glancing up she said a quiet "Hello, Professor," and looked at the board. Seeing the instructions, she quickly pulled a pen out of her bag (quills were fun to use sometimes, but she much preferred the muggle pens her mother bought her) and began to write. Quote:

Hmm. Transfiguration. Spike looked at the Professor from under his curls, trying to work out whether this was going to be a fun-type or boring lesson. He wasn't sure, though it sounded like it might at least involve some practical wand work. That was hopeful. Seeing Ellie, he gave a her a smile and slid into a chair at the closest desk to hers. She'd help him, right? He scribbled out his name, in a script that might have been legible if he'd taken a bit more time over it. It was smudged in places too. He'd blame it on not being used to a quill, of course, but it was more laziness and a lack of care when it came to anything other than his pets and building things. Who wrote stuff when you could spend hours on end building a den in the woods to defend from the enemy? He wasn't suited to sitting in lessons, he was sure. Quote:

Pandora walked into the Transfiguration classroom and looked around. She heard a noise and saw a girl almost knock down a chair. She ignored it and walked up to the professor. "Hello Professor," She said. She wrote on the card on her desk. Quote:

SPOILER!!: So many quotes! You're all under here <3 Farr too many students greeting her at once for Issy to be able to speak to them individually. Instead she unfolded her arms and rested her hands on the desk. "Good morning to all of you," she smiled, nodding at each and every one as they entered, even the ones who looked at her but didn't say anything. Maybe it was too early in the morning for them to speak. Hopefully they would when the lesson actually started, or the first part would be rather quiet. Moving away from her position, she walked over to the board and flicked her wand from it's holster. Underneath the words already there, she added a new heading: ASSISTING MUGGLES. Turning back towards the class, she grinned. "We'll just wait for a few more stragglers, then I'll begin." |

Jake looked up and gave Magnus a wry smile. "No," he responded. "Not really okay. I'll live, though." More or less. It was weird... it wasn't flu season or anything. Eh. Maybe just a bug. The young man turned his name card over in his hands, trying to distract his mind somehow. |

Heh, Spike. That had to have been the BEST name, ever. "Hey there," she greeted as he sat down beside her. "Looking forward to the lesson?" Since he wasn't in Charms, she supposed this was his first 'magic' lesson. Unless he used magic in potions...Hmm... She wouldn't know. Eh, well. He could correct her if it was necessary. And Merlin, she hoped he'd left his 'friends' in his dorm. |
''Good day professor!'' Jacqueline said as she took a seat. She saw Rex at the back and sligtly waved to him. Quote:

Zane walked into the classroom, excited about the first transfiguration of the year. He had been getting better in the subject in his time at Hogwarts, but it was still rough for him at times. "Good morning Professor, how's everything going for you today?" he said, walking past and taking a seat. He looked down and saw his card. Zane Hayes Third Year Slytherin |
Transfiguration was the only lesson Lux was actually interested in, which explained why she was wandering into the classroom, quite early. She smiled at the Professor before taking a seat and writing her name, year and house on a piece of parchment she had remembered to bring with her. Yup, if Lux was actually going to go to this school she was going to make an effort. Especially in Transfiguration. Quote:
