It was his first day back to the grossly underheated castle, and Salmandrius Beaugustus Malfoy had already traced a slight irregularity in his breathing once. Tsk. A visit with the School Nurse was necessary.

And so, with his pale nose leading the way for the rest of his pale self, Sally found himself outside the Hospital Wing while clutching his cloak around him for more warmth. Those darned House Elves and their radical ideas of liberation and payment were probably lazing off by the Great Lake instead of heating coals in the basement.

Hmmph. He'd have a thing or two to say to Nubby (their family elf) if she ever tried something like that. So overcome by the chill and draught in the castle was he that Sally sneezed TWICE before pushing the door to the hospital wing open.

Arya was certain that someone would find her sitting in the middle of the corridor, staring at the door to the infirmary odd, but she didn't care. In fact, if someone were to walk by right now, she probably wouldn't notice them anyway unless they were her head of house.

It wasn't too early in the day, she had only just arrived after having breakfast in hopes of meeting the woman in person. The woman she had made a point of avoiding when it came to her health over the past few years. Why did her head of house have to be the healer? Why couldn't it have been one of the other professors, or the headmaster? That would have been awesome, she loved visiting him.

Sighing, she stared down the door a good few feet away from where she sat crossed legged, willing the woman to come out of her work station.

It was just plain odd. Orlando stared and stared for a good long while before deciding he should probably ask if there was something wrong with the girl - who so casually sitting on the floor, staring at the door. However he found himself opening and closing his mouth twice .. before realizing he wasn't sure how to ask.

See if it was a boy - Olrando would have easily asked. He'd go: "Dude? ARE you okay?" And he would know.

But it was a girl. And a girl's mind. It didn't really worked in any directions Orlando was familiar with so how could he ask? BUT HE WAS SO DARN CURIOUS! What was the girl dooing! WAS SHE ATTEMPTING AT SOMETHING COOL?

Or was she ill? CAUSE in that case - Orlando should really be shaking her up and getting her in the hospital wing. HMM.

He had been just passing by .. when he had noticed her - now he couldn't stop staring at her back. HIS CURIOSITY HAD NO LIMITS.

ASKASKASKASKASKASKASK.

"Umm. Are you okay?"

Maybe she was just REALLY busy in there doing healer things. The students in this castle always seemed prone to many accidents that landed them in the hospital wing. Thankfully she hadn't been one of those students for a long while now.

The woman - what was her name again?- had to come out soon though, right? For food and air and stuff. SOMETHING. She couldn't stay in there forever and Arya was determined to see the woman up close, today hopefully.

Being so intensely focused on willing the healer out of her infirmary took so much work, so it was no surprise that she didn't notice the boy behind her. That, and he was behind her. Arya didn't have eyes in the back of her head.

Jumping a bit at the sound of the voice, she turned her head and after considering the question, she nodded her head. A smile on her face. "Never better, how are you?"

Ivan was out on his own now exploring the castle. Walking into the third floor corridor he looked around. Lexi was right the seventh floor was much more appealing. Sticking his hands in his pockets he decided to walk to the end of the corridor and back before making his way back upstairs.

Everything here was new to Evangeline, and she wasn't planning on not knowing where anything was at anytime, so she was exploring. Except that it wasn't so interesting by herself, she found. So walking onto the third floor corridor, she came beside a guy who seemed to just be walking around, as well. "So, are you just exploring, too?" She asked.

Ivan looked around as he heard someone talking and spotted a girl, "Oh hi. Umm...yeah." Smiling at the girl he gave a shrug, "I'm new here so thought it'd be best to get to know everything." He looked around once more and then at her, "Oh I'm sorry. I'm Ivan," he said as he pulled out his hand and held it out to her.

"Ah, I see." She said. "I'm new here, too. I was thinking much the same thing." She said to to him. "I'm from America." She said to him. "Evangeline Benford," she said, shaking his hand. "It's nice to meet you, Ivan."

Strolling down the corridor, Jayce walking in zig-zags and circles because of his growing boredom. Merlin, he had just gotten back to school and he was already bored? What was going on here? With a sigh, he stopped in the middle of the hallway and stared down it. It was times like these where he missed Opal and wished she was allowed to come to school with him. But of course, being the size of a small bear didn't put things in her favor. Especially at school. Hm. He'd have to figure out a way to get her here somehow. Last year without her was unbearable. He could only imagine what this year was going to be like especially since he would be without Sparkles as well.

Siiigh.

Chloe had been exploring the 3rd floor corridors when she noticed someone else was there too. Someone she did not know as of yet. She walked up to the boy and said, "Hi, I'm Chloe. How are you this fine afternoon?".

Hearing footsteps against the linoleum floor, Jayce looked up from staring at his shoes. Somehow, his blue eyes had drifted down there as he thought about Opal, and the past, and well, just about everything else. His eyes met those of a brunette, and he smiled at her. "Hey," he replied. "Nice to meet you Chloe, I'm Jayce," and with that, he extended his hand towards the girl.

"Oh, err... I'm good i guess. And how might you be?" he inquired.

"Good, you guess, well that seems a bit strange a response. And me, I'm totally fine. It's nice to meet you Jayce", Chloe said and and took his extended out hand and shook it. "So Jayce would you like to join me for a bit of exploring around here?".

Sebastian was waiting for Melrose up on the Third Floor Corridor. He paced back and forth, trying to figure out what to say. Yes, it was all part of his plan, you see. His plan was to trick her into thinking that he wanted her up here for some big and important reason, when really, he was bored and he needed some entertainment for the day.

SNOOORRRRTTT.

Where is that blonde anyhow?

Melrose walked up to the Third Floor Corridor. Don't get your hopes up Melrose She told herself. He won't say what you want to hear. Melrose took in a big deep breath and let it out slowly. Mel saw a person she knew and it was her friend Sebastian. But he could see her and she wasn't wearing her high heels today so he could hear her either but she was still tall even without her high heels. Mellie loved it whenever she scared Sebastian. It was always so much fun. Hehe. Here she goes again.

Melrose walked up behind him and yelled. "RAWR!!!" He would be able to hear her. She was so loud at times. Hehe. "So what did you want to tell me?" Melrose asked.

Jayce chuckled. "Well, yeah. I guess you're right, it is kind or a weird response.." the Gryffindor shrugged. "Well, that's good to hear," he grinned at her and glanced down the hallway again, then back to her. Exploring? Did this girl know him or something? He LOVED exploring. "Yeah, sure. I'd love to," he grinned. " But where exactly?" and with that, he raised his eyebrow.

Sebastian crossed his arms as he waited for Melrose. This girl was taking waaaaaayyyy too long and it was bothering him a lot. He was just about to turn the other way to walk and someone was screaming RAWR at him. He flinched a little and stepped back. "Okay, why is it that Anakin AND you, try to scare me with the whole 'RAWR' thing?" He said, his eyebrow raised, waiting for an answer because he still never understood that. Was it fun or something to scare him?

*Sighhh*

"Oh yes, what I wanted to tell you..." Seb trailed off. What did he want to tell her? Come on, Seb, think of something quick! "Mmmm, I wanted to tell you that I tried to talk to you yesterday but you ignored me." He said shrugging. What a stupid idea, but it would at least get her thinking.

Melrose looked at him and stuck her tongue out at him. Loser. Mel giggled a little. The RAWR thing is just plain freakin' awesome and Seb needs to know that. Stupid Crab puff. Another giggle slipped in between her pink lips. He just has to admit that the RAWR thing is awesome and then they wouldn't start arguing. Mel nodded ever so slightly. Melrose looked at Seb. You know he's really cute. Snap out of it Melrose no he's not. Just snap out of it and he won't know at all about your little secret. Okay back to normal. Good job Melrose. Phew!!!!

"Well I'm cuter then Anakin when I say RAWR." Melrose told him. It was totally true and if he said she wasn't then she would just be plainly mad at him.

Melrose nodded. "Oh I get it you wanted me to come here because you were bored." Mel told him. That was just plain mean. "I'm not gonna always be there when your bored." Mellie told him. Guys are so stupid sometimes.

Sebastian just chuckled and ran a hand through his hair, awkwardly. "Way to be just a bit conceited." He joked and smiled at Melrose. "Only kidding, yes you are way cute than Anakin. Anyday really." He chuckled. It was true though.

Shruggg.

Then it seemed that Melrose was getting mad and he just hugged her. "Oh don't get mad, Melrose. You know even if I wasn't bored you would come." He said holding her a little longer and then backing away. Mwahahaha.

Melrose smirked. What an idiot. Okay well he wasn't a idiot. He was an insanely cute. Not this again a voice whined in her head. Grrr. Stupid cuteness. Stupid Italian accent. She was stupid for liking him in the first place. She needed to get over him because she was NEVER going to be with him in her wildest daydreams. And she had, had some very good daydreams about him while she was on the train to Hogwarts. Hehe. Those she was going to keep to herself. No one else was to know about them but her and her diary.

Melrose rolled her eyes at him. "I am not conceited." Melrose told him flat out. It was true she wasn't okay only at certain times when she was having a very bad day. "Oh so you do agree with me?" Mellie asked him. Of course he would. "I'm not mad. It's just the plain ugly truth and you know it." Mel told him straight out. And what was with the hugging. Was he high today or was this just a stupid dream that she was having because it wasn't the first time this had happened in a dream, well some other things had happened too. Nope.

Sebastian just laughed. "Okay, Mel, no need to to get all 'high and mighty'." He said shaking his head as he looked out the window of the corridor. Hmm, he wondered where Bonnie was at. "And sorry if I'm bored and I have nothing to do, I just have only seen you, what, twice?" He asked turning towards the blonde.

"And anyways, you probably miss me." He grinned.

Melrose looked at him. "I'm just saying." Mel told him. Melrose looked at the stone wall behind Sebastian. Sigh. Now she was getting bored because there was nothing to talk about. Hmm. What should she bring up to talk to him about.

Melrose looked at him and frowned and looked back at the stone wall behind him again. "I didn't mean it like that. I was just saying that it seems like every time we talk to each other you're always bored and have nothing to do." Melrose told him.

Melrose looked back at him. Mel ignored the last part he said. So what if she missed him but she wasn't going to show it one but. "Well then what do you want to talk about?"

Dianna wandered up the third floor corridor. There were quite a number of people already but she didn't mind. She was really really bored and wanted someone to at least notice and have a chat with her. She never knew she could get to this kind of boredom.

Walking a little further, she stopped to a halt and walked back. This could keep her busy somehow...

Walking down the third floor corridor with her ipod on full volume,Fee looked around.Seemed that it was a litte crowded here today,was there something she didnt know?!Mhhh.. Ohh and that portrait looked so cool.Mhhh Fee wondered what spell made them move.Not watching where she was walking she bumped into something.Or better someone."Oh hi",the blonde smiled,"sorry, did i hurt you?!"

Left. Right. Left. Right. Lef--

Her 'just keep walking' thoughts poofed away when she accidentally bumped into a girl with her ipod on full volume. It was so loud that Dianna might have heard it from the end of the corridor if there were less people.

"Oh no not at all." she said with a shake of her head. She hoped the girl herd her through all that music.
