Why the odd reaction to the Knarl? Haha, Cricket had said that she didn't like the name because it sounded like gnarl, and well, Arya loved all things living so it was expected from her, but...Ellie?

"I do." And he smiled again, he'd taken the little hedgehog-looking creature into Hogwarts when it was only two weeks old. He'd adjusted wonderfully to the place. "A real one, yes, why?" what was the big deal about him having a Knarl anyway? Or it may not have been a big deal, but she sounded...not excited, but something close to it, by said news.

There was a smirk on his face, the answer to that question was fairly obvious, especially if he was looking to annoy her, BUT, "Why wouldn't I?" there was a slight shrug to his shoulders, the smile widened. Why wouldn't he? That has no answer. But her question did. What was he supposed to say? That Arya was right and he actually liked Ellie and having a picture of her would be a very nice to have? Yeah, no, thank you.

She got that? Okay. And he could understand the want for taking pictures, but the reasons behind it were just wrong, in Ellie's case.

BUT...if she'd said from the start that she wanted to have all the memories she could from Hogwarts, then he wouldn't have minded having her walking around with a camera all the time, except that one time. When Renée was mentioned.

His eyes were on the camera and without moving his face he looked up to Ellie, "Go on with what?" oh, no, he knew what she'd meant. Smirk.

Caroline frowned, which was something that she didn't do to much, especially if she was around the people who mean the most to her. She sighed and nodded "I just found out that my mum is getting remarried." She shook her head "She's trying to replace my father I know it."

She was so glad that Kita was the first one she was the first one she had ran into after reciveing the letter. "Can you believe that terms almost over?" She asked. "You need to come stay with me some this summer." She smiled at her bestie. "Oh and by the way I love those sunglass. Very cooooool"

"Awwwww."

Yes. Knarls were cute.

She shrugged, "I never thought of a knarl as a pet." Maybe that was a good thing... "Thaddeus the Knarl. Sounds...kind of noble..." Hmm..

"Because there's so much more out there, that's why." But he'd already said his reason, right?

Ellie nibbled on he lip some, watching Treyen. "Take the picture." She was slightly camera shy and wasn't about to pose or anything like that. Especially in such...weird circumstances...for whatever reason made it so. It just felt weird.

Besides, her picture self might feel differently. She was usually smiling in pictures at home.

He couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. 'Awww'? Seriously? Was she getting all Kaia-like on him? Treyen was...slightly scared, honestly.

But no, she wasn't thinking along those same lines Kaia did, thankfully. "Any creature can be a pet, sort of, except they'll be creatures we take care of, not really pets." Hopefully she'll understand what he'd said? Because he got lost in the middle of the comment. But, yes, not all creatures were pets. One couldn't have a pet dragon, yet at one time Hagrid did.

And he chuckled, almost laughed too, "Actually, I named Thaddeus after Thaddeus Thurkell, have you heard of him?" so, to sum up, there's always one famous person behind each of those creature's name? Because Aslan was a Lion in some sort of books.

Has anyone ever wondered why Treyen was recruiting some creatures for? An Owl, a Knarl and a Niffler? That was some wicked Scavenger Hunt.

He was sighing now. Yes, he hoped that Ellie had meant out there in the world, like, experiences to have and such, and not material things. He'd rather have an adventure for his birthday than many presents, which were expecting him at home. The presents. Probably the adventures too. But a picture of Ellie was...yes, the best he could hope for at the moment.

She was doing that thing with her lip again. Adorable. Really. But that's how he knew there was something on her mind. "Just forget that I have the camera, you won't even know when I'll take the picture...if I even take it today." And he winked. Did that mean he was supposed to keep the camera? No. He wasn't the one for holding cameras for too long. That was Cedric.

Whyyy was he doing that? "What? You don't think Knarls are cute?" Cuz they were.

Hmm. "James Wilkes," Treyen knew who that was right? Not that it really mattered. That wasn't the point, "he has a monkey." True. "He was supposed to show it to me..." But didn't. Ellie'll have to nag him about that.

Thaddeus Thurkell, Ellie mouthed as she looked off into the distance, thinking. "Nope. Don't think so." Not that she knew of, at least. "Who's he?"

Sighing. That...was that a good sigh? Like a content sigh? Didn't exactly sound like it. "You don't agree?" Surely he did...

Okay. Now forgetting about the camera would be impossible. She didn't say anything on the matter, but it would not be easy to forget it

...And he might not even take it today? What was that supposed to mean? But he winked. And she trusted him. Whatever you say, Treyen.

Bonnie grinned at the girl. "Cool. I hate looking polite!" Bonnie grinned and was about to chuck the apple at Sebsters but her grin widened and she said slyly, "Do you know what's super fun?" She asked Selena. "Annoying the Whomping Willow! - Just don't climb it! You get into SUPER trouble for do that..." She trailed off with a little frown.

She chucked the apple at Sebsters but just as it was about to hit him she whipped out her wand and the apple zoomed towards the Whomping Willow. It whizzed in and out of the branches but the Whomping Willow wasn't bothered by it at all. Ahhhh. *SIIIGHH* Then the apple disintergrated and the ashes disappeared before they touched the ground.

Crazed!Girl grinned and then pouted. "Who's Evan?" She asked, looking around - but of course she didn't know what he looked like anyway. Her eyes darted from the candy Selena had brought and the YUMMEH-looking cake Sophie had brought. HUNGREHHH.

When would they find out if Sebsters was staying?

Walking coolly towards the Whomping Willow knowing that he was a few minutes late, Evan didn't bother to get faster. Of course he was going to be late, both to annoy Sebby and to check what was there. So, staying a good fifty metres away, he observes the group that looked to be Sebastian... some girls he didn't know and...

Sophie.

Just the person he had been avoiding.

Cursing under his breath, he hesitated at that spot for a moment whether to show up or not. After all, Sophie was there too and with Seb's existence, it made TWO things that he would like to avoid for the rest of his life: Sophie AND her PDA with Seb. But, a nod was a nod, kind of a promise, and he was going there. If things got ugly, he'd leave. Coolly. Yeeeah.

So, straightening himself again, pulling at his hair and stuff, he walked to the group with his hands shoved deep into his pockets, just as one of the girls was asking about him. So this meant he was the latest. Good, just as he had planned.

"That would be me," he said softly behind the girl with a small smile for the girls he didn't know--though one did look familiar from his common room. Then, looking at the nose of Sophie he talked as if a greeting "Sophie," and nodded at Seb shortly.

Knarls? Cute? Well, first of all, he's never said that word to refer to any creature, unless the creature was Kaia Barnard, and even then he called her pretty girl, not cute. UNLESS, he was provoked.

"No." But he was still laughing, "That's what girls can think of Knarls." Perhaps Ellie has never seen a very suspicious Knarl in her life. That was probably it.

Oh, James Wilkes? That was Ravenclaw Seeker, no? Yes, exactly. Treyen nodded, and then his head was slightly tilted to the right side. A monkey? That was...yeah, strange. "Mmmm. Interesting." How did the boy managed to get a monkey inside Hogwarts? That was the interesting part, not the monkey one.

But he expected it. The not knowing who Thaddeus Thurkell was. It had been a very long time ago, but the man was still showing up in some Chocolate Frogs cards. "He's a Wizard." Well, obviously. "He turned all his sons into hedgehogs. Seven sons. Seven Squibs. Seven hedgehogs. I just thought it appropriate, the name, I mean." Because it was super awesome if the real Thaddeus was ever transfigured into a Knarl or hedgehog. Really.

"Stoppit." POUT. He was clearly laughing AT her. And she was super certain she hadn't said anything to provoke laughter.

That. Made absolutely no sense. "Boys can think Knarls are cute too, Treyen." Cute was just a virtue. Animals couldn't be cute to only girls.

Yes. The marmoset. "Isn't it? I mean, you wouldn't think of having a monkey as a pet. Especially one to bring here. I think he mostly keeps it in his dorm, though." Which was disappointing, cuz she's never seen it.

.... Ew. Ellie pulled a face. "That's a terrible story." Maybe that's why she had never heard of him. "But Knarls aren't Hedgehogs."

He was trying not to laugh, but he was smiling widely because of it. "I'm not laughing at you, I will never do so." Oh, and that was right. He wouldn't laugh at Ellie, but he couldn't help it if he found certain things funny. Well, they were funny to him.

Eyebrow raising ever so slightly, "No, not really, because waking up in the middle of night thanks to a very suspicious Knarl is not...cute." And you could see that he had trouble just by saying the word. If the word was erased from the dictionary then he'd had no problem with that. "I...suppose Pygmy Puffs are, but they were meant to, anyway." But he didn't say the word, haha.

No, it was better to get some things straight, "Many Muggles have monkeys as pets, I just...don't know any. But, yes, it is rather interesting as to how he managed to get it inside the Castle." And would she mind stop talking about the Ravenclaw Seeker?

It was, wasn't it? "I know, but I like to think Thaddeus is making up for it somewhere, anywahere." Mean man. Probably a Slytherin. No, no, MOST certainly a Slytherin. "The real Thaddeus, I mean." Yes, because his Knarl was not the reincarnated spirit of the man, Thaddeus was rather quiet and very nice to everyone. Once he got to know them, of course. "You better not," Ellie almost added 'Mr. Lockhart', but she decided not to, to save herself from being called 'Miss Stone'. Meh.

..."What does he do?" She didn't think a Knarl could really cause much trouble at all, could they? And she didn't miss the strain in him saying 'cute'. Smirk. "Pygmy puffs are...? What?" Mwaha.

Wait...this was common? Pet monkeys? "They do?" Wow. She wasn't even allowed a Crup, and yet people had MONKEYS. She felt so sheltered. "Why's that interesting? I imagine he just...brought it in, yeah? Like with any pet..."

"Wouldn't he be...dead? How long ago was this?" Ellie'd presumed it was ancient history. People weren't as mean to Squibs today as they were a long time ago, were they?

Ewww! There were Knarl-people running about?!! No, no, no. Ellie shook her head. "All magic wears off eventually. Kingsley said." She'd added that Kingsley bit cuz she knew he couldn't argue with it. Or wouldn't.

True. "Okay." That made sense.

And now he SMIRKED. 'You better not'? "I think we know you won't threaten me." But was he really sure of that? No. Then why the smirk? Because he simply liked to listen to that almost-threatening tone of hers.

Of course, he preferred a million times the happy Ellie.

The boy was playing with the camera in his hands. He seriously didn't want to have it, he was better being the one people took pictures of, not the one taking them.

But he won't tell.

What does who do what? Oh, the Knarl? "It's Simon's fault, really, for trying to give him a Bertie Bott, but then we were the ones that had to rearrange the dormitories." Yes, pillows everywhere, it kind of had been fun, if NOT cruel for messing up with a defenseless Knarl. "At night he woke everyone up, except Chandler...," Treyen could not believe the boy's ability to sleep during such a scandal, "...while squealing and running around chasing after some shadow, we still don't know what it was." And he blamed Simon for that too.

His eyes narrowed, because he noticed the smirk on her face, "Yes, they are...that word you said to describe Knarls." And the one he said before, but he was not saying that again, was he?

Mmmmhmm. Treyen nodded. Muggles did. "Oh, but there are exceptions, and we can't bring just any creature to Hogwarts. Don't you ever read the letter when it gets home?" he was sure that monkeys were nowhere in those descriptions. Kneazles were fine though, and no, Knarls weren't allowed, but since Saylen didn't know, then everything was alright.

He chuckled again. This was not a laugh, okay, it was a chuckle, a soft one. So, no ideas, Ellie. "He's more than dead! It happened over four hundred years ago." But...Wizards, they tended to find ways to...extent their lives somehow.

Wait.

He forced his eyes away from the camera to look at Ellie. And he just blinked. She was right. Kingsley was right. Kingsley was always right, but the fact that he'd forgotten about such an important fact was beyond him, not to mention the tiniest little detail that Kingsley was no longer on his mind.

And he was quiet, he just stared at Ellie.

"You're right." But there were no smiles anymore. Kingsley. He suddenly felt like he needed him now more than ever.

He also needed to talk to Arya.

"Do we?" She could totally threaten him. Would she act on the threat? That depended on what it was.

Ellie blinked at Treyen. There were... That created more questions than it answered. But then she just shrugged. She still thought it was cute.

"What? Cuuuute?" Giggle.

More giggles. "Nope. Not really, at least. I usually open it, scan it, then hand it to my mum. Then she makes a new list of things I need in Diagon Alley apart from what we already have, or what I need more of, or things that need to be newer." So basically, she just thought that anything and everything was allowed in school.

Oh. "Then he wouldn't be paying for it now." Duh, Treyenn.

Uhm...He was staring at her. And she didn't like it. Ellie turned her head away to look at that horizon he'd pointed out before.

Until he spoke, then she looked back at him. And he wasn't smiling...after laughing at her not even a minute ago. And she felt BAD cuz it was her fault, wasn't it? She hadn't realized until now that she kinda did to him what he did to her that one time..s, actually. It happened more than once.

"Stoppit," she said, nudging him. That applied to both the staring and the not-smiling. "Sorry."

"Yes." And for some reason it didn't sound as confident as he would've wanted it to. "Or...don't we?" Yes, that was the reason why it didn't sound as confident, because he was so obviously not sure about it. Still, there was a smile somewhere on his face.

There was some rolling of the eyes on his behalf, "That one." He couldn't help but smile even wider, especially when she was giggling and looking forever adorable.

He was merely nodding at the moment. So, Ellie didn't really take a good look at the letter. He...couldn't do that, he HAD to know everything it said, and since he was in charge of buying some stuff then he needed to know what was written. Though, someone in the family always ended up finishing the shopping for him. He seems to forget the most important things all the time, like, school books.

"In another lifetime. Perhaps." Yes, it was possible, Ellie Stone, that Thaddeus Thurkell payed for his crimes against unwanted human transfiguration or whatever. "So, maybe now." After 400 years, this could be one of Thaddeus other lifetimes, no?

Then she looked away. That didn't make him feel better...or...yes, a bit, actually.

It was like he'd been hypnotized and Ellie had brought him out of it as soon as she said 'Stoppit'. Again. Though, it was different this time. "I...what? No, you don't have to be sorry, you were right, thanks for not letting me forget that fact," or forget about Kingsley for that matter. He shook his head as if to clear his mind for a moment.

Nothing lasts forever, eh? Way to bring the boy down.

Ivan smirked and watched as TJ got up and sat down next to him. What? He thought it was funny. She wasn't fun sometimes.

Hearing her question his smirk widened and he glanced at her finding her closer than she had been. Hmmm. "Really. It's no fun trying to pick on myself," he teased. Looking at her he smiled, "So ready for term to end?"

"No we don't." At least she thought that that was the answer that she meant. The answer that would mean that she could threaten him.

Ellie decided to ignore the camera. Though it was impossible. She'd at least act like it didn't bother her.

She raised her eyebrow at him. "Another lifetime?" What was that all about? She thought you only got to live once.

Sighing she leaned over with her elbows on her knees, "Not really. It just doesn't seem like the term is ending with no exams, let alone OWL's even."

Hearing TJ he laughed and looked at her, "Sure it will. Because I do it so well." He raised his own eyebrow to match hers refusing to answer her question until she mentioned his teasing. Hmm. "Usually, yes," he answered crossing his legs at the ankles and getting comfortable.

"And what if the person teasing you does or is?" he asked hiding a challenging smirk. He could play her game just as easily.

He watched her curiously and nodded, "Yeah but it is. Hey, I'm having a party this summer. You should come over. It'll be fun." No he wasn't asking her hour. Not at all.

Raising an eyebrow again, Ellie? "What? You don't think it's possible?" because living in the Magical world made you realize that very few things were impossible. Surely, returning from the dead was one of those, but still.

Those are the kind of discussions he could have with Kingsley and the man would end them just as quick as they'd started by being all awesome and smart.

Selena grinned at TallPerson and waved her hands frantically. "GUESS WHAT I HAVE!" Selena exclaimed as she rummaged around her panda bag and pulled out... wait for it... wait for it... a little potion vial thingy marked pink. "This is my going away present for you," Selena said with a smirk. Because she was determined to get him to dye his hair pink... even if it meant sitting on him.

She waved at the other girl named Sophie... Oooh. That was exxx... eeech. Awkwardness for her. Mmmhmm. Or maybe more for them but she still felt awkward. *shrug* "I'm Selena and I'm awesomer than TallPerson," Selena said, reintroducing herself and feeling the need to add that part in. "Yes." she replied with a small smile appearing again. She wanted to ask, but yet, was afraid the answer would be yes...no...? Oi, she wasn't sure which answer she would even want!

Taking a deep breath, she let it out slowly. "Would you be...interested in..." She couldn't do it...no, yes...she would... "maybe becom...goi...going..."

ARGHHH.......... "going to...the kitchens?"

Ivan was kind of taken aback that she kissed him back again half expecting her to pull away. A grin came to his face as he heard her say yes she'd come to his party. Of course she would. She couldn't stay away from him and that was an ego boost. Of course he always seemed to find her as well.... He'll ignore that though.

As she seemed flustered he watched her curiously. That wasn't what she was going to ask was it? Should he make her say it? Yes, yes he did. "I'm not really hungry actually. But that wasn't what you were going to ask was it?" Ha! Take that.
