"You've been gone for quite a while now. I mean hello ! Where have you been it's like january, february - look at me I don't even know what month it is."Adam teased himself just to get a bigger laugh.

"Well, good to see you back and well.Even though I barely know you."He said with a odd expression as he continued talking.

Adelyn laughed at his teasing, smiling brighter than before. "My mum was ill, so I had to stay and take care of her. I managed to keep up with most of the school work, though...minus the magic, of course." She shrugged; she hated starting the term so late, because she not only missed out on classes but the whole social aspect, too.

"Thanks, for your concern." She said with an almost sarcastic yet still genuine tone. "We'll just have to get to know each other more, now that I'm back for good."

"I hope your mum is doing better now. And I can see you truly care about your loved ones"Adam told her, patting her head. he wasn't sure he could say the same thing back, after all his parents had done to him, he never wished to speak about them ever again.

"Uhmmm, I know we just met and all- but I am moving to Mexico at the end of term..."He said quietly turning to the side. All those conversations he had with all his friends, stress, and hate- the memories were flooding back

"She's doing much better, thanks." She said with a small smile; she sensed there was something he wasn't saying about his parents, but she wasn't going to push it. They had just met, after all. "I love her a lot, and I'm all she really has left, since my dad died..." Why did she just tell him that? Her cheeks blushed scarlet.

"Oh. I'm sorry. I know that must be hard..." Adelyn replied, reaching over to put her hand on his shoulder, trying to offer some form of comfort. "We still have right now, though, right? Let's not think of end of term quite yet."

"Thanks! That's amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He said still beaming from meeting his best family member, except for his younger bro, Alex. But he was too immature for him. Dan was just immature with a capital I. "My parents are pretty good, but mum is....well......you know mum." He said thinking of his forceful mother, thankfully she wasn't here to boss him around. "How about your sis?"

Katie then remembered, it was at the astronomy tower she had heard him, guy? Was he talking about Luke? "His names Luke Gallows, he's my" She paused for awhile looking up at him, it felt odd telling her first crush who her boyfriend, she felt a bit weird as well for some odd reason. . . "boyfriend" She quickly said before he thought something was wrong with her.

"Sorry to hear" She said, its sad to hear about relationships that don't work out, because Katie thought everyone should find there someone. "Luke? Nah, he probably is in the common room" Katie smiled, but she still felt odd, and she wondered why he thought Luke might come out from behind, that was probably not going to happen.

Caroline knew all to well about his mother, her mother was the same way. You'd think that they were sisters, but in fact there fathers were brothers. "She still hasn't changed." She shook her head "Don't worry my mum hasn't changed either." She said. It seem like both of them didn't have to worry about being bossed around my their mothers. " Starr is in America, New York. And Casey is in taiwan. They couldn't wait to get out of Mum's house."

"Nah and I don't think she ever will" He said tired of thinking about his mother. "Oh Thank Cheese, I thought i was the only one going through this torture" He said Laughing. "Cool, I miss them, no doubt you miss them too. They were like sisters to me and they WERE sisters to you." He said thinking of the times when they were younger and Starr and Casey used to play with them. "Anyway, enough about my mother and your mother, let's talk about you. Any bfs?" He said interested, he needed to be able to tease her about something!!!!!!!! He grinned.

Half-smiling, Aimée looked down upon the boy. "You sure?" she said, just to be on the safe side. Because if he'd broken his leg or something it wouldn't be good. "What was your idea in ze first place?" she couldn't help but ask. Surely it hadn't been to run at the tree; that was completely ridiculous, even if it had been what it looked like.

As he extended his hand up to her, she lowered herself down so she was kneeling opposite his sitting form before shaking it. "'Ello, Matt," she greeted, smiling at him. "I am Aimée Beaumont, but you should call me Aimée, because, well... surnames are not needed, and I do not 'ave a nickname." She finished with a laugh.

Fee smiked as she heard what Rex said about Justin.How cuuute."Yeees he is really sweet",she nodded.Aww he loved her, it was always nice to hear that from your best friend.Made you feel good.Had she seen Rene? Shakong her head sadly the girl sighed a little."I am sure she is looking for you."They couldnt go seperate ways now.Pleaaaase.

'It's okay. It wasn't a really bad case, which is good, I guess. I only got it mildly,' Maddie explained. She was so glad it hadn't been too awful. Mostly it was just boring, like she'd said before. 'I know, I've got so much work to do. I'd really like it if you helped me,' she said shyly. She knew she would never get all the work done if she didn't ask someone who had actually been in the classes, and Ellie seemed really nice. She could use a few more friends - especially friends that were girls.


'Yeah, I guess you're right,' she said, looking down at her books. She gathered them up into a pile and put them back into her schoolbag, making a mental note to take them out later - else her bag would be too heavy to carry. 'Thanks, that would be a real help,' she said. She looked down at the notebook and began to copy up all of Ellie's notes in her neat, cursive handwriting. 'So, which spells have you been doing in class then?' she asked. Hopefully nothing too complicated...

'Well, my full name is Madeleine Amelie, but only my mother calls me that. My parents got divorced last year, and I live with my father in France. I love to ride, swim and write. Erm.... my favourite colour is purple and I love to watch muggle tv,' she said. Just some random facts about her. 'What about you? Tell me about you, Ellie,' she said.

" Yes, but no one can not be sweet to the "Glitter Girl's" charms" Rex told Fee." I heard Rene is very sick and she will be back later at HogWarts" Rex said to Fee. " I worry about my mom, Victoria, Rene, her, you, Jason, all of their familes including yours and the rest of my friends' Rex explained to Fee. " Then I worry about me because of my bad relationships and fibured I screwed up this one" Rex said sadly. " Is it wrong to worry about the relationship I have with Rene?' Rex asked Fee.

"Awww that was really cute",Fee giggled,"but i am sure there are people that dont like me too much."There surely were but better not to think about it actually."I worry about my friends and family all the time too",she noded,"but youn shluldnt let it take over.Have fun."No one wanted rex to be sad of possible happenings.He was too amazing to run around like a sad man."Noo it isnt wrong",the girl reassured her best friend,"you know it shows how much you care for her."

Ellie smiled at the girl. "Well that's good. I can't imagine how terrible that was, though..." She told her. Plus all the laying in bed aaaaall day long and eating soup for months straight. Ellie would not be okay with that. She beamed at Maddie. "Of course, I'd be glad to help you. What are friends for?" She said with a friendly wink. Sheesh, she was in a good mood today. Not that she was some angry freak every other day, but she was just... chipper today.

As Maddie began to copy down her notes, Ellie explained what they had been learning. "Well the first thing we learned in Charms was Mizurus Boru. Performing this charm at an object transforms the object into a ball, using the mosture in the air to put water in it. It can't actually conjure water since it's just a charm, but if there is mosture in the air or around you, like at the lake, then it would be much easier to fill." Ellie glanced over at Maddie to make sure she understood. It was all in the notes, but she was just clarifying. "Oh, and your intention HAS to be clear. You have to know exactly what you want it to turn out to be, which is a ball, holding water." She nodded and paused. "So the wand movement..." She took out her wand and demonstrated. "Is a circle clockwise and a circle counter-clockwise" She said, moving her wand in the motion. "Now you just need an object to practice on."

Ellie listened to Maddie tell her about herself and her life. She laughed a little when she said she loved muggle TV. "You live in France? That's really cool! I've never met anyone from there." She said casually. "I live in Ireland with my mum. She's a muggle." She said dully. "Not that I have anything against muggles, it's just... her." But it was all to complicated to explain right then. "So what TV shows do you like?" She asked, changing the subject.

" Show me the people who do not like you, I will beat them up" Rex teased Fee." Well, I figured you worried about your family and friends" Rex told Fee. Yes, I guess I should have fun a lot" Rex agreed with Fee." I do care for Rene but she is not back at Hogwarts" Rex explained to Fee." I feel I have lost her forever " Rex looked like "he lost his puppy look".

Maddie smiled. She had officially made another friend! That bought her list of Ravenclaw friends up to... *drum roll*... two. She had two friends who were actually in her house. Wonderful. Not that she didn't like those two - Ellie and Timothy were really nice - but still. This was going to be the year she made more friends. 'Thanks, Ellie,' she said happily. This was great!

Maddie listened carefully as she wrote everything down, adding bits here and there to help her understand better. Mizrus Boru. She didn't really see how this spell could possibly be useful, but it sounded fun to do. She wrote down 'keep intention clear' in large letters, because that always seemed the hardest part to her. She'd be thinking of exactly what she wanted to happen, and then she'd get distracted by thinking about... oh, pink bunnies or something. Well, not pink bunnies. She copied the movement, tracing shapes in the air with her wand. When she thought she had it, she dug in her back and pulled out a pen that had run out of ink. 'Will this do?' she asked, setting it on the blanket.

'It's not that cool, really,' Maddie replied with a grin. 'We live out in the middle of nowhere. We barely even get reception for TV or phone,' she said, thinking of how irritating it was when you were halfway through an episode of FRIENDS and the TV suddenly went fuzzy. 'Oh, Ireland? I have a couple of relatives from there. I've never been, though,' she said. She'd heard it was beautiful there. 'So, are you muggleborn or half-and-half?' Maddie asked. She ignored the comment about Ellie's mother - she didn't want to pry, as there was obviously something going on there. 'I'm half-and-half myself. Mother's a muggle, Dad's a wizard,' she added. Hmmm... what TV shows didn't she like, that was the question! 'Well, I like the old ones that they do re-runs of. Gossip Girl, 90210, F.R.I.E.N.D.S, Glee... stuff like that. What about you? Do you watch TV?'

"Awwwww you dont have to beat them",she giggled,"i am not perfect."Nope Fee wasnt and there surely were people that didnt like her but she was fine with it."You should have more fun than anything",the blonde winked,"after all you are my best friend soooooooo."The second year would do anything to make him happy and have fun."You havent lost her",the blonde shook her head,"dont even think that."Noooo the puupppyyyy eyyeees. Ahhhhhh.

Smiling at her new friend and studdy buddy, Ellie was glad to have another friend in her own house. It seemed like she only had Slytherin friends these days and about two Ravenclaw friends. Odd.

Ellie noticed Maddie take notes and smiled to herself. Hmm, maybe she should be a teacher someday... Then Maddie presented a pen in front of them. "Yeah, I don't see why it wouldn't work." Ellie shrugged. She pulled out her wand and pointed it to the pen. "I guess I'll try first... Mizurus Boru." She muttered and the pen suddenly swelled into a ball.

Satisfied, Ellie went to reach for the ball to see how much water she had obtained. But as soon as she lifted it off the ground, the ball popped! and water sprayed everywhere. "Eep!" Ellie squealed as water sprayed over her skirt and her homework. And her face. She opened her eyes and looked at the mess. "I guess I need to work on that one." Ellie mumbled. Then she laughed at the mess she had made. Good one, Johanson.

Never been to Ireland?! Le gasp! "Really? It's really beautiful there. You should go there sometime, it's wonderful." She said with a grin. She did really love Ireland. The scenery was so breathtaking and there was so much room. Wide, open spaces. Room to breathe and think. It was Ellie's kind of place. "That's the same as me, half-and-half. My mum is a muggle, but my father was a wizard." She related with a smile. TV? Did she watch TV? Ellie chuckled a little. "Well, I've tried watching it a few times, but I never really got into it. Plus I didn't know how to use the... the, uh..." Crap, what was that thing called? Ellie used her hand to motion pressing the buttons on that strange, rectangular device. Yeah, that thing.

" Ok. I will just stare them down" Rex told Fee."Well, you are close to perfect" Rex smiled." Ok. I will have fun" Rex said to Fee. " I saw Rene for awhile and now she is gone again" Rex explained to Fee.

Caroline laughed. She rememeber all those fun times with the five of them, Dan's brother Alex was the baby, and they would always pick on him. She blushed and grinned "Yep, I've got one. Have you met any girls here yet?" She asked with a grin. if not she had the perfect girl for her to meet, her best friend Kita. That way she could pick on both her best friend and cousin, if they started liking each other.

He missed them when they were younger. They were bffls. "OOOOOHHHH Who is he??? I wanna make sure he's not gonna cheat on you." He grinned at her and started to laugh. He was older by 4 days. He had a right to look out for her. "Girls? Nope, and plus i think you are the first i have spoken to here!" He said surprised at himself.

Kyleigh walked up to the tree standing far enough away not to get hit - and not to stirr its branches into moving. Then she heard some familiar voices and turning her head, she saw Rex, and the girl she'd met but never actually said hello to Fee. She also saw another guy, and another girl - she didn't know who to talk to or what to do. Kyle was being shy - again, as usual.

She took a rock, threw it at the knob at the bottom of the tree - it hit, wow, that was sheer luck. The branches halted. She smirked, and smiled as she noticed the lack of all-that-much snow on the ground it was only about an inch and that was far better than, say the foot it was two weeks ago.

She made to back away, and walked into someone.

"Sorry" she turned, blushing as she did so - why was she so darn clumsy? Then she continued, "I'm Kyle - er, Kyleigh...couldn't help you say you haven't met many girls here - same here with er - girls and guys." she smiled.
