Alina giggled.

LOUDLY.

"Now that," she was referring to him thinking his jokes were funny, "was the most funniest thing you have said." His jokes were NOT funny. Yet, him even slightly thinking he was a comedian was quite hilarious. She shook her head as her giggles slowly died off and then she added, "I'm sorry, Alex. You're just... you're going to have to work on your comedy if you want to make people laugh they way you intended them to." It was the truth, in her perspective.

"Original," she repeated. "That's not a bad to look at it." Maybe he wasn't pessimistic after all. "It's got to be hard being the only Huffie in your family, though. How does that make you feel?" Not that she even cared in the slightest way but she would much rather ask him question and keep the conversation going instead of standing there in an awkward silence.

Justin looked away. This didn't look too good. He knew what the consequences were going to be. Did Rex think he didn't? "Who said anything about messing with their relationship? I know she loves him and he loves her. I'm not as much of a snake as people think, ya know. I'm not gonna try and split them up. That's make me the worst friend ever" he replied just as harshly as Rex had delivered his comment. This wasn't going to end well. Ok, now that stung. "Way to boost a guys self-esteem. Clever!" he replied rather sarcastically as he stood up so that he was at Rex's level. This so wasn't going to end particularly well. Another friend of Fee's he'd be enemies with? He thought so. "I can fight my own battles thank you. I don't need Fee to fight them for me" he answered harshly, sternly and with a tone that sounded like he wasn't taking this lightly. He wasn't though, that was the point.

" Well, then you are cool and I made a wrong first impression of you" Rex told Justin." I know you can fight your own battles and Fee defeitely never fight yoru battles' Rex said to Justin. "Well, again I was wrong and you and I will become friends if you do not mind plus unfortunately you happen to be one of Fee's " best friends", too, right?" Rex asked Justin. " Sorry, I just had bad relationships and I did not want Hugo to get hurt" Rex explained to Justin. "Actually, it took me and Alex awhile to get along too because I am Fee's best male freind whom she met first and I take care of her as my 'sister" Rex told him.

Justin listened to everything Rex had to say. Thank the lord. "It's ok. I didn't exactly give you much to go on. But hurting Fee or Hugo is the last thing I want to do. I know Fee and I is an absolute no go, but she knows how I feel so at least there's less of a risk of the two of them being hurt. Sorta" he explained. The cat was out of the bag. Friends? "I'd love to be friends. But we need some ground rules me thinks. And they all involve my attitude. 1. I need to shut up and stop making you think I'm a total idiot. 2. I don't mention Fee or Hugo 3. I avoid getting annoyed and losing my cool which is something I do rather easily" After all, Rex was just protecting Fee. "And yes I am one of her best friends. One of her best Slytherin friends" he replied. He knew she had a lot of friends. And they were all protective of her.

" I believe you could not hurt Fee ot Hugo or their relationship" Rex told Justin. "Well at least your honest" Rex said to Justin." I want you to be yourself and we can be friends" Rex explained to Justin.

Ah, he was a fifth year, which meant one year above Ellie. Stupid, stupid, stupid dude who had been borned before her. Humph. Alex lost his frown and nodded slowly. "Oh yeah I'm only a third year, transfer so..." he shrugged. Perhaps no classes together.

"Do you like quidditch?" he asked interested.

"Dont be sorry",Fee smiled warmly.Rex hadnt done anything wrong,it was just that everyone was talking about Justin's and her friendship."Awww i really appreaciate that you want to protect me",she nodded.That was what made him her best friend,but he wouldnt worry to much.He liked Lafay?!Wow,this was weird. "Okay i will observe you",the blonde winked.Her best friend wouldnt give up, nooo she wouldnt let him.


"I know it is very diffivcult to discuss",Fee nodded," i just wonder why all the professors are bringing it up now."Really seemed like there would be a change of something in the near future.That made Fee nervous, but maybe she wss overreacting.Pfffshhh."Yep one bad seed and we are lost",she nodded,"quite unfair how one person can deatroy a whole world."

" Good newa, Justin and I are friends" Rex told Fee. "We both had a long talk and everything is cool" Rex said to Fee. " Justin does love you but he will not interfere with yo uand Hugo, no we did not argue or fight about it" Rex explained to Fee." I like protecting you, but you do not really need protection, right?" Rex asked Fee." Well, I am doing homework, but it is harder this term than last term" Rex sighed.

"Glad to hear it. Fee is an amazing friend, Hugo, not so much but he's a lucky guy, and their relationship appears to be unbreakable. That's obvious when Fee speaks of Hugo" replied Justin. See, he knew how they felt about each other. Sort of. "I am, but it depends on the situation as to how honest" he admitted. He was still being honest. [i]'Be yourself and we can be friends'[/s] Hmmm, that meant the weird, snakey, world domination planning, candy addicted Justin, right? O well. "Ok, but Imma warn you, I can be very crazy at times" he admitted.

Dan was still wondering why he was looking at him frowning, ah well. "Yeah, me too, but obviously fifth year transfer." He said thinking of his cousin who was also in his year.

"Quidditch? Dude, I'm PRO at it!" He said with confidence. He thought this guy was awesome, he liked quidditch, that was enough to be awesome. "What position do you play?" He asked hoping they could play against each other sometime.

" Fee is great and Hugo is great, too" Rex told Justin. " I think he is afraid of losing Fee to you" Rex said to Justin. " He does not think he is good looking and especailly not as good looking as you according to Hugo" Rex explained to Justin." We all can ve ceay at times" Rex laughed.

Why did Justin get the impression Hugo had mentioned him to Rex? "Imma confused. So is it you that says I'm a threat or Hugo? I'm very confused" he admitted hoping he got a straight answer. What Rex had just said, in this situation, was enough to confuse anybody. But he was sure it was both of them. Maybe? "I have no intentions of splitting anyone up, breaking anyone's heart or making any enemies. Least of all Hugo and Fee" he replied truthfully. Hugo as an enemy? Possible but a no go. "And Hugo is quite good looking in all fairness, but looks aren't everything. Fee loves him for his personality, even if his personality hasn't shone through to me yet" he explained. That was what he thought. Just from one conversation, he thought Hugo was a good guy. "As crazy as planning world domination? There's only a few people that are that Crazy. Alex and Emma and Fee and myself"

" Actually Hugo talked to mel but at the time I agreed with him" Rex told Justin." I know you are not going to hurt anyone" Rex said to Justin."I actually agree with you on Hugo's personality, but I think you have the looks on him" Rex explained to Justin." Well, that means my good friends Justin, Alex, my "fake sister" Emma and my best female friend Fee are crazy and I have to look out for all of you" Rex laughed. " World domination, better be careful, I am Gryffindor" Rex smiled.

Selina listened to Fee and nodded along in agreement. "Right, well it's the way the world works unfortunetly. But the postive way to look at it is with all of the bad in the world there is always light. I mean, why be so negative when their is the potential that things could go so good?"

Caroline was walking by the whomping willow at a safe distance of course. She was late to a meeting in the Great Hall with one her friends. She nearly walked into two boys, but moved out of the way. She noticed that one of the boys looked familiar to her. She made a double take. "Danny?" She asked, she had always called him Danny, he hated it, but she'd always call him that. she felt stuipd asking because well he was her cousin, her mother owled her and told her that he would be coming to Hogwarts.

She hadn't seen him since they were about eight or nine years old. They were the same age, so they would always hang out at family events and what-not. He was her favorite cousin.

Dan was still talking to Alex when he heard a familiar voice say his name...Danny.... He turned around and looked for the face of the voice and saw his cousin Caroline. He quickly said bye to Alex and ran over to her and hugged her. He then tore himself apart from her and said " Sorry for that in public, but i've missed you so much!" He said thinking he sounded slightly girlish. "How have you been??" He asked. He missed Caroline more than anything and to end up at the same school was almost a miracle.

Caroline laughed and hugged her silly cousin back. She smiled it was nice to have family at school again, since her brother Casey and sister Starr left Hogwarts it had been a bit Scottless around here. "Mum, told me that you were coming to Hogwarts." She smiled again but she couldn't help it her favorite family family was here. "I'm doing great. How are you? How do you like Hogwarts so far? What house did you get sorted into?"

He loved her more than all of the other family members. It was great to have her here. "Yeah, I just got moved here and mum only told me the day before i left" He said making a sad face and trying not to laugh. "I'm fine, better now that your here." He said with a grin. "I'm loving it here, it's so nice and everyone's really awesome. And i got into RAVENCLAW!" He said proudly" What about you? Tell me everything." He said sitting down a good distance away from the tree.

Selina wandered aimlessly around the grounds. Something about winter weather and how the frost nipped at the grass was beautiful to Selina. A walk on the Grounds had become Selina's second favorite past time to Quidditch. She sat on a patch of frosted grass and pulled out her wand. When she was alone she would admire it and the majesty of the wand. It was a fascinating instrument. She then pulled out her watch. While she had some time she should at least practice transfiguration.

"Comletia!" She said concentrating deeply on the watch. She envisioned all of the round trims and the golden plate of her compass in her mind. She imagined all of drawings that would be inscribed in the compass. It was a masterpiece that was waiting to be translated on the watch.

Finally the concentration payed off and the watch was now a beautiful golden compass.

Justin listened to Rex. "Now I'm extra confused. But because I don't know who the hell Mel is" he replied. Too many people involved here. O well. "Ummmm, thanks. You think I'm good looking, I think Hugo does too but Fee should be going on personality and he has the personality. I don't" he replied. Plus he missed his Maddie so very much. Why had she left? "Teehee. Hmmm, the crazy club. So there's me and Fee as a team and Emma and Alex are partners in crime too" Mwaha. O dear. He'd forgotten lions were ambitious. "Right, your ambition"

Fee just nodded at her friend.What Selina was saying was more then right.People only saw the bad aspects of it."There should be morempeople like us",the blonde chuckled,"seeing the positive things in life makes it easier and everyone would be happier."


"Justin and you are friends?",Fee said happily.This was amazing now she only had to bring Alex to like her partner.Waaiiit, did Rex said Justin loooved her? Like in LOVE?!Wow, that was huge.Didnt he just have a crush on her? What was with Violet?!"I am really happy you get along well now",she nodded,"i want my friends to be friends."Would be so cool.Giggling a little the girl shook her head."I love how protective you are but yes i am a big girl",she winked.Fee noticed the frustration in the besties voice and sighed alittle."You are graduating of course its harder.",she took his hand,"but you can do it i know ."

" Justin and I are becominggood friends" Rex told Fee. " I knew that would make you happy, but it is because he really is a good guy" Rex said to Fee." Well, I know you can take care of yourself, but I am really protective of you because I do not want you to get hurt" Rex explained to Fee. " I guess I unfortunately act worse than a big brother, best male freind, more like a father figure to you" Rex smiled. " Classe do get harder when you graduate" Rex agreed with Fee.

"Thats awesome",Fee nodded.Finally someone that saw Justin wasnt bad and actually really nice.It was stupid that people didnt like him just because he liked her. Sense?!"I know he is and i am glad you finally see it",she smiled.It was really important to her what Rex thought.Awwww her bestie was soo cute seriously,he was the best guy on earth. Gaah in the universe."I love you bestie",the blonbde smiled and hugged the guy in front of her.Yeeep,classes were to getb harder that was normal even though it sucked."But i am sure you will make it",the Slytherin winked.

" Justin is the type of boy I want around you as a good freind" Rex told Fee." I love you too Bestie" Rex said to Fee. " I will work on getting better grades in all classes" Rex explained to Fee. Rex's smile turned to a frown. " Have you seen Rene?" Rex asked Fee.

RAVENCLAW? RAVENCLAW? That was great. She finally had a family member that didn't make it into Slytherin. She was torn between happiness and confusion and jeslousy. She would have loved to been sorted into another house, than she was in, just to annoy her mother. Haha. Her mother would have been just as annoyed knowing that Carolines's favorite cousin, her nephew was sorted into a different house.

"Raveclaw! that's great. I'm in slytherin. she said. she took a seat next to him."I'm doing, great. Hogwarts is my favorite place to be. oh man I don't know where to start." she laughed. She was just glad to have her favorite family memeber (besides her brother and sister of course and dad but that didn't matter.) "How's your parents?"
