Whats going on with Demitri?"She hsadnt seen that boy or his twin sister for aaaaaaaages.

" Yes, a student and a professor together would be very weird" Rex told Fee." I am glad you like my interpertation" Rex said to Fee. "Did I say Justin?" Rex asked Fee. " I had just been asking a general question and you answered it perfectly" Rex explained to Fee. " By the way. Professor Lafay is my favoirite teacher" Rex smiled." You know which one that I do not like" Rex sneered at even the thought of the Transfiguration professor. " I am still debating on dioing any more homewotk or going to classes" Rex sighed.

Warily watching the willow wave its bare arms violently, Wesley allowed herself to think about the Devil’s Snare they had exterminated far behind the tree's base so long ago. Was it still a pile of ashes, or had it found a way to survive? If it had survived, how big was it? And if it hadn’t…? The Hufflepuff frowned, not proud in the slightest. If it hadn’t survived, then it deserved a proper funeral, not just to have its remains locked behind a door.

Scuffing her foot in the snow, turning up powdery clouds of white, the 16-year-old contemplated asking the new Herbology professor if he knew anything about the situation. But the watch’s metal chain, freezing to her black gloves, reminded her any action would have to take second place to Professor Magnus’s assignment.

Making a place for it on the ground, she settled into her usual position, and began to contemplate her next creation.

Same, again. No ticking, no minute hand, hour hand into pointer, numbers disappear, replaced by N and E and S and W and…and oh! A N/E, S/E, S/W, and N/W between them.

Wesley nodded to herself, satisfied and content, before directing her wand in the correct movements – up, down, left, right, circle, jab. “Comletia!”

Just as before, the picture in her mind appeared before her, a compass with the frame of a pocket watch. Despite feeling confident, Wesley checked the magnetic pointer and lined it up with the library once more. Check.

She returned the compass to its original form and covered up the patch of grass as she had done earlier by the lake, then stood up and adjusted her scarf. Dragging a trail of footprints behind her, Wesley skipped off, back to the pathways.

"Oh." Well Alina was WAY off. "I'm 4'8"." Yeah, yeah, yeah. This girl knew she was a midget and, no, she did NOT need to be reminded of that. If anybody had the nerve to talk about her height, well... she wasn't sure what she would do since she wasn't strong enough to fight but she would do something about it. Something evil. "One of your parents must be quite tall if you have that kind of height on you at your age."

Hm. "I think you're already a safe distance from it." She looked from him, to the tree, then right back to Alex. "All you have to worry about now is someone pushing you right into one of those flying branches." No grin or anything because, honestly, she was being serious -- NOT that she would do something like that, though.

She nodded when he asked if she was Slytherin. "Yes, I am," she replied. "Sierra?" After thinking long and hard about that name, she shook her head in reply to his question. "I probably have seen her around but that name doesn't ring a bell inside my head." Honestly, she hadn't really even talked to any of the other girls in her house. "You're in Hufflepuff, right?" She pointed to the crest on his robes. He was unless he had stolen the robes but she highly doubted somebody like him would steal things.

"Not really...I'm just a freak of nature," Alex replied with a small chuckle at his own joke. He knew he wasn't REALLY a freak--his mum told him all the time that puberty had just decided to visit him early. Everyone else would catch up eventually...or so he hoped.

Four foot eight...that was almost a whole FOOT smaller than him! Girls were supposed to be tinier than guys, though. That was why guys had to protect the girls all the time--they were littler and therefore needed the men to take care of them!

"Really? That's a shocker, I was sure Sierra and her mouth would be well known in your house by now," he muttered. Well, Slytherin WAS a big house, as was Hufflepuff--it was probably impossible to know everyone in your house. "And yeah, that's me..." he said, his voice trailing off. He'd almost said PUFFER BOY. Those Slytherins had gotten into his head! HE WAS NO PUFFER BOY. They were just mean snakes. MEAN MEAN snakes!

Nika made her way to the Whomping Willow. She watched nervously as the tree threw around it's branches violently. She best keep her distance. She sat down on the grass allowing there to be a good amount of space between herself and the tree. She took out the watched and looked at it. "So, I have the shape, color, and size. But what am I missing? What could make it better?" Nika thought about it for a moment and she came up with a perfect idea. She had decided to make it engraved with her name, Nika Adler, and she was going to give it a long silver chain. "Hmm... Now that I'm at it I suppose I could also add a few flower engravings around it too!" She spoke the spell aloud and watched the magic come to life. Her watch was now turned into the best compass that she had made all day!

At the mention of Demitri Selina froze. She had not seen him or his sister since the full moon. Demitri's... condition... had always left him drained, but this was different. Something was wrong and she had not seen him in weeks. She was trying hard not to panic whenever someone brought him up, but it was growing increasingly difficult. So she did what she had done for everyone who was worried about her and him, "He's fine. You know how he is. So tell me, what did you think of Lafay's essay? Why are all of these teacher's keep discussing the Statue?"

"I...don't really know. I guess you don't have to help me." Sebastian shrugged. This guy really didn't have to, but it would help him a lot with this bad, horrible situation he was in at the moment. Ohhhh great. So Bonnie has never been mad at Beck before. How did he not see that coming? "Let's just say, I kind of 'broke' her heart." He bit his lip. Yeah, saying that outloud seems even more horrifying. "Well I don't even know if she did love me, but it sure seemed like I hurt her badly, emotionally, that is." He added.

After following the compass' direction again, Mia now found herself at the Whomping Willow. She made sure to keep well away from the tree's branches, she kept practicing the incantation trying her hardest to keep her focus.

She had never really been good at magic and it was really starting to show with how her compass' were turning out. Oh she was managing to conjure a compass but so far they all seemed very basic.

After turning the compass back into a watch, Mia focused really hard this time on making a really good compass. "Comletia." She said and then moved her wand over the watch again, starting at the top and moving it to the bottom and then from the left and then to the right, another circulation motion and then a jab.

Letting a little sigh of relief, Mia held up the new compass. It wasn't as detailed as she would have liked but it was getting there...sort of.

Now this...this was some fresh air!

Having just came from the animal place, with all the animals...and the smell...Evelyn stared down at the watch she reverted back to normal as she took her walk. A walk where she ended up by the whomping willow? Well, she'd trade fresh air for life threatening situations any day.

Sure, the tree may not be threatening if it was waaaaaaaaaaaay over there, but it was just so darn creepy! Look at it! It was...a giant spider like thing! Bleh.

Narrowing her eyes at the tree, as if just daring for it to grow it's branches and try to whomp her, Evelyn slowly sat down and placed the watch in front of her, trying to remember what the heck a compass looked like. She drew it, didn't she? In class? Now why did she not bring her notebook with her that had the drawing?

Pfft. "Comletia."

Cross, circle, jab, and...Voila!

Ugghhh....!!! She had the picture in her mind! Why was it not showing up on the compass!? It...it wasn't even considered a compass still! She blamed the willow tree. It was distracting her. Pssshh, well, she'll just have to go somewhere else.

AGAIN!

"Hehe" He laughed. "I'm in Ravenclaw, what about you?"

Ravenclaw? Hmmm. Alex wondered briefly if the guy knew his Ellie but didn't want to burst out with her name infront of a stranger. Seriously, it wasn't like he was obsessed by Ellie Johanson or something... Erm, riiight.

"I'm in Slytherin, third year." he winked waiting for the Dan-dan's response to that, was he a Snake hater or not? Hm, hm.

Freya was deep in thought when she felt someone throwing a snowball from behind. She turned around to see who's the culprit behind this snowball and she as she thought, Humphrey was behind all of this. "Hello Humphrey." she said with a bit sarcasm in her voice. "That was a quite greeting you got there." she rubbed her neck where the snowball hit her. "I haven't seen you around lately. Was up?" Well, except for the Quidditch thing of course.

"Oh yeah?" He said, "that's awesome." He waited for Alex's response/reaction. Let's hope he didn't hate Ravenclaws...

"I answered it perfectly?",Fee said confused. Okay maybe she was overreacting but everyone telling her she should be careful around Justin annoyed her."Sorry if i soundes rude",she sighed,"i am just annoyed at people telling me he wants to destroy my relationship with Hugo." Because Justin would never do that.Waiiiit did he just say Lafay was his fave teacher?!Was her best frienfd going nuts?!"Are you serious?",she said shocked," i hate her she is sooo rude and scary."Givimg up was no solution and Rex should know that."dont give up okay?"

Fee noticed the concern in selina's eyes when she spoke about Demitri.something had to be up but the vlonde wasnt going to press the issue.The firstie would tell her if she wanted to."Oh well i got full credit for it",the Slytherin said smiling,"what about you?"It had taken her so long to do it and she had spend hours at the library."I have no idea why they keep bringing up that subject now",she shook her head,"maybe there is going to be a change?"

"Well I am sorry I upset you" Rex told fee. " I am yoru best male freind and I am looking out for your best interests" Rex said to Fee." Yes, I might be crasy, but Lafay may be tough, I do not call her rude or mean.but very, very fair" Rex explained to Fee. "Well, I will see if I do not give up, no promises" Rex sighed.

Alina wrinkled her eyebrows at him. "Did you really just call yourself a 'freak of nature'?" She hadn't met someone that said things like that about themselves since... who knew WHEN! Pessimistic, that's what he was being. Not that she even really knew what that word meant but she heard her mother say it a few times to people that seemed to think the worst of things. Mhm.

Yup, she had no idea he was kidding about that.

This little girl had many things running through her eleven year old brain right now but the first thing she asked was, "How did your sister end up in Slytherin when you ended up in HuffiePuffie world?" She paused for a second to let that question been critically thought about before adding, "I thought that you ended up in the same house your siblings and family members ended up in." Maybe her thought wrong because she WAS an only child so she didn't know that much when it came to siblings and sorting. Yet, she did know both her parents had been Slytherin... and SHE was in Slytherin.

Selina was relieved when Fee had diverted the topic of conversation away from Demitri. He had been making her nervous, but it was neither the time nor place to discuss his condition and quite possibly the cause of his absence.

On the topic of the Statue Selina answered, "I don't know, but honestly it is too soon. People are innately unexcepting if history has proven anything. I am just worried that if everyone jumps on this train, which I think is a good thing, too soon there could be major effects. The last time we were open with the Muggle World they almost killed us all. Not because the race as a whole is bad... but all you need is one bad seed."

"It...it was a joke," Alex explained. She had sensed the sarcasm, right? His mum always called him sarcastic, so it's not like he was discrete about it. Or maybe she just didn't understand the concept. Did he need to hold up a sarcasm sign around this girl all the time?!

He shrugged. "Maybe cause she's pure evil?" he said with a grin. Hehe. OH WAIT. Sarcasm. She didn't understand that. "I mean, not really, it was another joke," he explained. He didn't REALLY think Sierra was evil. Just kind of annoying and full of herself. He'd heard the same thing about the families, and for a while he believed it to be true. Once he'd started to realize that he was definitely NOT going to Slytherin or Gryffindor, he knew it wasn't true. "Not necessarily. Everyone in my family is either Slytherin or Gryffindor, but I knew right away I wasn't going there." he explained.

Elliot tried to hide his laugh when his snowball hit Freya in the back. That was a perfect hit. He smirked he was really pleased that he didn't missed it. Then when his best friend turned around to face him, he knew that the girl was really angry with him. He could tell from the sarcasm in her voice when she greeted him. That was not good. Nope not good at all. "Hello to you too Salvatore." he smiled hoping that his smile would do the trick. "Umm..Yeah. Well, I just wanted to announce my presence." Lie. But she didn't know that, right? "Nothing much. Just a usual boring day." he shrugged. "How bout you? Doing something fun lately?" he asked.

Alex raised one eyebrow at the dude, ah okay so he didn't seem to have a trouble with the different houses. He liked this bloke.

"What year are you in Dan-dan?" he grinned tilting his head. Fourth year? Please say fourth year, then he knew Ellie... Dreamy sigh. Ah, Ellie...

It... was?

Alina, being honest and all, was good at being sarcastic but when it came to other people's sarcasm, she had a hard time picking it up. She crossed her arms across her chest, took a quick glance around the area, before looking back at Alex and saying, "Pssssh, I knew you were joking!" Little white lie, that's what you would call that statement right there.

The little girl opened her mouth to say something but immediately shut it when he said that was another joke. Haha, very funny. NOT. "Your jokes... they aren't funny at all," she commented with pure honesty. Whaaaat? Okay, that might of been a little harsh but it's better to let him down easily before he thought of something crazy like -- being a full time comedian. At his response about the families, she wasn't too sure whether to 'aww' or laugh. She ended up doing both, at the same time. "So, Alex..." She trailed off before adding on, "You're telling me that you are the ONLY HuffiePuffie in your family?"

Maybe, quite possibly, he was a freak of nature and it wasn't all just a joke after all.

Dan thought that Alex was a pretty awesome dude. He hoped he thought the same.

"Me? Fifth Year, you?" He said looking at the hopefull look on his face wondering what it was for.

Sammy went down to the whomping willow. She wasn't to fond of the tree, it scared her. Mainly because it could move. But who wouldn't be afraid of a tree that could hit back? Only a moron. And Sammy wasn't a moron. She was a freaking genius ... and n awkward turtle but everyone loves turtles.

Alex chuckled quietly to himself. That sounded like the kind of defense people usually gave when they DIDN'T get it, and were trying to cover up the fact that they were oblivious. Hehe. Sureeeeee. He knew she hadn't gotten it--and she made that even more apparent by her next statement.

"Wait, what?! My jokes are hilarious," he said confidently. Yup, if there was one thing he was certain about in this world, it was that he could soooo be a stand up comedian if he really wanted to. This girl was just totally off her rocker, that was for sure.

Ok, change of subject. GOOD. He didn't want to have to try and defend his humor any longer. "Yup, the one and only. I don't think that's a bad thing, though, it means I'm original," he said. That was a total lie--it drove him crazy sometimes that he was clearly the black sheep in his family. But, maybe if he told himself that it didn't bother him enough times, it'd be true. Maybe.
