"And what have you been thinking of?" Cass asked, her voice still cold as the snow around them. "And no lying Heather."

The boy happily smiled as she said it was great to see him too. Well...he knew there were not much people who thought that way so his friends were important to him. Very important indeed. So important that he could protect them with his life and always help them with their problems whatever they were.

Right...

As she went on, Josh laughed some at her words ''Well...i think it was quite necessary. I do have to obey to a pretty housemate like you well, don't i?'' Hehehehehe. That was a bit funny. However his smile kinda vanished when he heard what she said next. ''Umm...i'm sorry Chloe. I really would like to work on the homework with you but...'' there was a but ''...i have no idea what it is since i did not join that class''

Maybe she could explain him. He was smart enough to understand it quickly. His mother was a Ravenclaw after all. Hehe.

Chloe chuckled oncemore and responded, "Oh, the homework is not all that difficult. All you gotta do is interpret a fortune for me. "Okay now I gotta ask a question. Chloe though for amoment then said, "Will I grow to be happy with whatever life brings me? And now I shake my fortune stick", Chloe proceeds to shake her stick. "And now I get a fortune stick with a number on it from the box", The number was 7 and she showed that to Josh. "Now I give you what the number 7 means and you tell me what you think it means based on on my question", She handed the paper with the meaning off to Josh.

Meaning:

Sierra paused as she took a good, long look at the tree just before her. She could do part four of her Transfiguration homework here, right?! Well, sure, but she just might get whomped to death, too! On the other hand, maybe all the students who were standing around would be so distracted with the tree that they'd pay Sierra and her wandwork no attention at all. That was just what she wanted, so this place seemed to be the perfect spot. She'd just remember to keep a careful eye on that tree, just in case it came whomping her way!

She was also in a good mood, because she was almost positive this compass would turn the color of Hufflepuff house. Not that she was excited about the Hufflepuff part of it, so to speak, but if this compass did turn yellow, that meant that at the rate she was going, her last compass would be just the color she wanted it to be--green!

She placed her watch on the ground and then raised her wand toward it. She paused to think about what could make this watch better than the three she'd created a few minutes ago. Let's see, it needed something else besides just directions, didn't it?! With those thoughts in her mind, Sierra began her wandwork. She made a small cross shape--top to bottom, left to right. She carried that through with a small circle shape and then gently jabbed her wand toward the watch. "Comletia!"

Wait. What?! That wasn't supposed to happen yet! ...but, but...argh! She glared at her newest compass and then angrily scribbled some notes:

- The compass took on a green color--green! It was supposed to be yellow this time! Nevertheless, I'm still very proud of it. It's green, after all--the color of my beloved house.
- ...and it's definitely more intricate than the first three. It still has N, S, E, W, NE, NW, SE, and SW, but there are some other details on the outer edge that I haven't quite figured out. I'm not sure what those details are used for. The compass does look better than the first three, though!

Scooping up all her materials and glaring at the fact that green color came just a little too early, Sierra turned on her heels and headed off the find one more spot.

" Hi Sierra" Rex called out. Very nice compass" Rex told Sierra. How do you like HogWarts?" Rex asked Sierra.

*Seeing a bit of the younger Hufflepuffs panic he gave her a warm smile.*
"It'll be ok, avoiding eye contact helps."

"Exactly. Happiness is the key in life. Well it is if you're not all dark and stuff" replied Justin. Anyone in particular? It would've have been if he knew the name of that Slytherin girl who started picking on Fee for no reason. He still needed a word with that girl. No one bullied his Fee and got away with it. "I sort of do. Believe me, my music hasn't always come off as well as I'd wanted it to" he replied. But that was usually down to not being able to concentrate properly because of other things on his mind. Such as his past. "How many best friends does that girl have? There's you, me and another guy. But at least I have people to talk to about stuff regarding her without getting into a disagreement" he replied. Well this felt a little awkward and he really wasn't very comfortable with it. But then, that was him. He always made things uncomfortable when he really didn't need to. "Yeah sure. Gives me a goal to aim for in my free time" he replied. And by that, well he couldn't say. Now he had to get to work on getting to know the couple even more. Otherwise this was not going to work.

Hearing Michael's comment, She thought about all the Griffindor had said. "I, I don't think using code or the notebooks would help. After all, Its not the notebooks he'd be reading."

Emmaleigh nodded, "Eye contact, got it. I guess it a good thing that I stared at my plate when he was at our table during the feast." She just hoped that boy hadn't revealed anything important to Albert.

" Good words to live by- happiness" Rex told Justin."Well music is something that you have to discover" Rex said to Justin." Fee has so many best friends, I can't count" Rex laughed. "She has a boyfriend named Hugo from RavenClaw" Rex smiled. " Glad you can make the wedding and Fee is just friendly Fee" Rex explained to Justin.

"Indeedy. I think everyone's happy at some point in their life, right?" said Justin. Well he was always happy depending on the company he was in. He was usually happy. "It certainly is. You have to try things to be able to discover what you're good at. And in music, if you haven't got it, keep trying and it'll come to you" he explained. That was how he did it. He wasn't that good before but he practiced and now he was pretty good. "Neither can I" he giggled. And now Hugo was popping up. His smiled disappeared slightly. "I know. I've met him and I've also made things a little awkward between me and Fee. Considering the circumstances, I've not been very considerate" he explained. At least he was up front about it. "So am I. And Fee is a very special girl to a lot of people" he replied.

Josh kept smiling as the girl chuckled. It was good to see others laugh because it meant they were happy at least for that moment. When she started to explain the homework, the boy carefully listened to her. ''Interpret a fortune'' he repeated cheerfully ''Ah, yes. This did not sound difficult at all. But did not this sound like Divination to you, too?'' He was going to comment on that more yet he immediately stopped talking when Chloe began asking her the question.

Hmm....

While she shoke the sticks and chose one among them, Josh's dark brown gaze was fixed on her sticks. Then he carefully eyed the number '7' in her hand. Now he was supposed tell her what it meant based on the question. ''Sure. That's no problem. I think i can do that'' For a minute he examined the paper with the meaning of '7', then faced the girl back to tell what he thought about it.


''Well...'' he began ''I am pretty certain that you'll never fail at whatever you aim to do. And others will envy you for that. It'll be easy for you to deal with what life makes you encounter. Those will make you feel satisfied with yourself which will bring happiness to you. So, yes you'll grow to be happy with what life brings to you.'' the Gryffindor smiled again and nodded confidently ''Buut, there's something else you should be careful with. After some time a few of what you will have succeeded won't be enough for you and you'll look for more. I can't say that you won't be able to find more but during that time you might feel like your happiness has left you.'' Hehehehe. He actually did it. However... ''Was that okay?'' he asked wondering what she'd say.

Chloe just looked at Josh in a bit of shock. She had never been able to be all that insightful in Arithmancy. He had done an awesome job, a scary awesome job. Once she regained her composure she responded, "You did great. Now would you like me to do a fortune for you or would you like to get out of this dreary place where maybe we can enjoy some sunshine?". Lord knows Chloe wanted to get out of her. Her fortune combined with this place was really starting to make her skin crawl. She did not like the thought that people would be jealous of her causeshe was grow to be to try to be perfect. Happiness would be far off if this fortune was true and she was trying her hardest to just forget about it.

" Sure, we are all happy most of the time in our lifetime" Rex told Justin." Very right about the music" Rex agreed with Justin. " Fee is a great girl and sometimes she has so many friends, even best freinds that all of us boys get awkward before her" Rex explained to Justin." You are just showing feelings for her" Rex smiled. " You are a good guy and they will both forgive you about not being considerate to Hugo or them" Rex smiled.

Looking surprised but happy with himself, Josh's smile grow wider when Chloe began to speak again. ''That's cool. I am glad that i could help.'' For Josh, helping others, especially his friends, was one of the greatest things that one could do. ''By the way; i'm sorry i told you that your happiness might leave you in the end for an exact period of time. But i did not want to tell you just what you'd like to hear because that'd be lying about my interpretation and i'd never ever lie to any of my friends'' Yes, that was the truth. Lying to friends meant betraying them.

Now, what were they going to do? Kindly enough, Chloe wanted him to decide that. To be honest, he really would like to hear a fortune for himself. It'd be so much fun. But since she used the word 'dreary' for the place, it was apparent that she did not enjoy being here. The boy guessed that the reason for that was probably the image of that stupid, moving, evil-like tree. So, after staring at the Whomping Willow some, he turned back to Chloe and put his hands on her shoulders. ''Look Chloe. There's nothing on earth that you should be scared of while i am around. I swear nothing will bother you. I can do anything to prevent that. So relax and enjoy the moment''

That was right. Just enjoy the moment. And freeing the girl from his careful grip, he went on to answer her question of what to do next. ''I'd love to enjoy some sunshine at some other place but i really do want to hear a quick fortune about myself. Is that okay? After that we can leave for somewhere else''

"Uh, it's fine. And sure I can do an interpretation for you." Chloe then waved her stick cause Josh did not have one. "Okay, just ask a question and pick out a stick and tell me the number on it."

"Even if he did hear our thoughts I doubt he would take us seriously. The professors and adults around here... or anywhere, think we are just kids."
*He got the feeling that a super strong security guy like... Albert... would not see them as any kind of threat.*

"There is a possibility that he feels like that, but I'm not sure. After all, he's clearly here for a reason." What that reason was, she didn't know, but there had to be one. "And I wouldn't put it past some of the professors to feel that way, but there is no way all of them feel that were 'just kids'"

"The ones that have been around kids longer wouldn't underestimate us..."
*Looking up and smirking an evil thought came to him. But then pushed the thoughts away knowing that it might not be best to make a guy like Gevrik mad.*

"I've got a good feeling this is the first time he has ever had to deal with... children. We need to find out why he's here."

She couldn't help put but let a harsh laugh escape her. "Length of time around kids has nothing to do with it. I know Lafay has been here at least three years, and I'm sure she underestimates us." And muggles for that matter. "He did mention being here about the statute."

Beck rolled his eyes. How could Bonnie like this guy. Well how could my sister like this guy? Well she liked a lot of guys really. "Why should I help you?" Beck asked him.

Beck shook his head. "I can't answer that because Bonnie has never been mad at me before and I don't really know what to do." Beck told him. "But what did you do for her to get mad at you?" Beck asked.

Heather sighed, fog coming out of her mouth. She better tell everything to her bestest friend now, hm? "i won't Cass. well, classes are one thing....after all, i'm just an average student, hm? And...my dad. He hasn't been replying to my letters lately...i worry about him. He said he'd write back from Mongolia. He and uncle were going there for a sort-off business trip...that's why he wasn't with my mom and i when we were going to the Hogwarts express and i'm worried because there hasn't been any contact with him since he left..not even a howler...

and...my arm..." heather took a second to breathe first and sigh once more. "well, i got to be careful around...don't want it to get worse when it's already getting better." she said with a smile. After all, heather's multitasking skill is a zero, and when she wants to be careful of something, she only focuses on that and almost forgets everything surrounding her.

Cass still had that 'And?' look on her face, as if anticipating there was something more that heather should tell. Yup, heather should tell cass about edward. "Edward and i made up so we hung out in hogsmeade after. I know, Cass, he can be a jerk after all the pranks and insults he gave to me and about emily...but...i sort of made an agreement with him that we'd best get along well with each other because we're in the same house, you know?...and he's actually nice to me recently...somehow as nice as Nathan is. I wonder what Nathan did to get through to Edward's 6-inch thick skull." she said with a giggle, hoping Cass would laugh at her bold attempt to even make a joke that sounds corny.

"Exactly. Being miserable is never a good thing. Be happy people/. Just try to avoid eating too much sugar and I wish I told myself that earlier" replied Justin appearing to go a little bit hyper. O well. He was allowed to once in a while, right? "Yep" Now what to say. And back to Fee again? "I know she's a great girl, and to be honest, I can't imagine life here without my little minion" he replied. At the mention of Hugpo, he then went a little awkward. "Hugo's made it clear he sees me as a threat and I dunno how Fee's taking my feelings for her to be honest. I mean, her reaction was sorta good but it wasn't if you get what I mean"

Looking at the sticks at the ground the blonde raised an eyebrow. Mhhh what could that mean.She really had to concentrate.But after a few seconds it popped up in her head."They say your gonna have a beautiful time with a person thats really important in your life",she started,"and you will stay together forever."

Fee squealed when Selina told her about making it into the Quidditch team."Ohhh thats awesome",she smiled widely,"i am soooo proud Selina."Once again it really was a pity Fee hadn been able to go to tze tryouts.Ugh.But next term together with Emma,That would be their time."I really like the fact they dont make such a difference betweetn the years anymore",the blonde nodded,"i am so going to cheer for you."A Slytherin cheering for a Gryffindor?!That was going to looki funny.Tehe.

" I can't be miserable eating" Rex laughed. " Your little mimion?" Rex asked Justin." Fees feelings are true for all of her friends but for Hugo, there is real love betwenn them" Rex explained to Justin. " You are a nice person and I can see girls would really like yoru looks, so I kind of understand why Hugo thinks you are a threat" Rex said to Justin. " I think I can talk to Hugo and jsut tell him you and Fee are freinds like Fee and myself, would that be alright for you?" Rex asked Justin.

" Well, I guess you mean Rene" Rex laughed. " Very good reading" Rex said to Fee. " Your time to throw the sticks" Rex told Fee.

"Thanks Fee! I'm really excited about it. And no matter who wins, no hard feelings, right? Of course I'm only saying that so your not too upset when we win.". Selina joked.

"So how do you like dating Hugo?". She was happy for the pair. Truly she was, they were genuinely into one another, not the title that came with having a relationship.
