I kid you not, this is one tree you don’t want to mess with. It's best you keep a safe distance from the Whomping Willow’s tree limbs or you may end up with a few broken limbs yourself.
The girl shrugged. "I know them, and I'm sure you have seen them around even if you haven't met them. I just know that this is something they will want to talk about." Looking up, she smiled as she saw the Ravenclaw boy heading their way. "Hear comes one of them now."
"Hello" she smiling at the boy. With his direct question, the puff quickly glanced to the older girl Michael was talking to, hoping she would leave soon. Deciding to gloss over the question, she decided to do the introductions. "Michael, This is Eino. He's one of the ones I was telling you about. And Eino, this is Michael. He's the one who wanted to talk about stuff."
putting his hand out to shake it "Hiya Eino how is it going ,, well one of the things I wanted to talk Em,,,,yall about is I was thinking the school is protected against muggle tech but hogmeads not" looking to Em to see if she saw where he was going with this
Uhh what's wrong with me? she thought. Of course I don't like anyone. "No," she said shortly. "Anyway, I met just..." She stopped for a moment to count... "Just one guy." Well, it was true. She met only girls here. Except for Jake.
Helena whispered now. "So... Do you like someone? Since you started this conversation," she added, grinning.
She couldn't help but giggle a little bit at Helena's reaction. It was clear that her question made her uncomfortable, Georgiana just kept smiling.
"Oh a guy?" she asked with curiosity and winked. Did she liked someone? mmm maybe not, there were good-looking guys here, yes it was true but she wasn't in love or something like that. "Nope, but who knows? someday I may like someone here" she said remembering her past and someone...she shrugged the thought away and continue talking with Helena. "Maybe we should have this conversation later" she said looking how many people was coming.

The girl shrugged. "I don't think its protected from it. I think I read some where that there is just too much magic in the air." She though a moment about the suggestion. " but, I don't know. I would think that there is alot protective spells on the village too. You know, they don't want the muggles to find it." oh, the irony of that last bit.

"You're probably right." Helena looked around as well and noticed the others around them.
"Hey, did you do your Transfiguration assignment? Maybe we'll do it now, together," she said, smiling. She got up and started looking for her pocket-watch-now-compass. There it was! The small compass was shining in the sunlight as Helena sat down next to Georgiana again.

Eino turned to the boy Em had introduced him to and greeted him a second time, then recited that common sentence. "I'm Eino Uronen, a second year Ravenclaw. It's a pleasure to meet you." So Micheal was the one who had something in mind to discuss? "Muggle technology?" Eino said somewhat alarmed. "What do you need that for?" He asked with a slightly condescending tone, but only as a defense mechanism because he was afraid of most of it. Still, what did the boy want it for?

Having received an owl from Emm earlier in the day, Kurumi had thrown her things so quickly on her bed that the books and been thrown all about the place - very unlike her as she kept everything aligned first by size and then alphabetically. Seeing that Emm was already there along with Eino and another Hufflepuff boy who she had not met yet, Kurumi quickened her pace with Walnut chasing the strings of her long white scarf as they dragged on the ground. “Sorry, I just got your owl and I came as quickly as I could,” she said panting a bit.

biteing his lip while the thought "But it cant be as much as it is around the school and I was thinking we could also go when we wanted to talk and reminiscence about Albert "

Em nodded. "I do believe Michael is referring to the video recorder and mp3 player I showed you on the train. They don't seem to work here at Hogwarts. He's been trying to figure out how to get them to work." although, she wasn't so sure why he had brought them up now.

"This is Kurumi," she said gesturing to the girl who had just arrived. "I'm sure you remember her questions from Defense of the Dark Arts." She thought a moment about his next comment. "thats quite possible, I guess we will have to see. But, do you really think its a safe place to talk?" she asked.

"Hello," she waved at Michael. "Nice to meet you," she added with a bow. "I couldn't help but over hear that you were trying to figure out how to make non-magical electronics work at Hogwarts," Kurumi said with her violet eyes ablaze at the chance to give a mini lecture. "Non-magical devices cannot work in Hogwarts because all the magic in the air interferes with the electric current. There are so many protective spells and enchantments used on the castle alone that it is enough to cause interference. Then you add all the students practicing spells, the house elves performing all sorts of magic witches and wizards cannot, and well…I think you get what I am saying. Magic is temperamental by nature. Think about how often those staircases change! Non-magical technology is exactly the opposite. Like two forces of nature, order and chaos, one could assume imagine mix like oil and water." That was just her two cents on the matter anyway.

Emmaleigh nodded as the other girl spoke. She seemed to know quite a bit on the subject, maybe even more than Salander. "how do you know all this?" she asked. "And do you think they would work in Hogsmeade?"

As the boy talked, a sort of realization dawned on the girl. so you want to use it as a diversion?" she asked.

Brittany ran to the willow very much out of breath with the note em left on her pillow. She wondered how late she was because she had gotten caught up in the library for a while. When she saw all the people there she knew she was late. She walked over to them quickly "Sorry im late guys... i just got the note" she said holding the now crumpled up note up with a sheepish smile

Hogsmeade is full of wizards and witches, magical objects, potions, creatures, and strange things too." She giggled. "I read about it in Hogwarts a History," she said in a rather matter of fact tone. "We are better off enchanting something to do what your non-magical device does."

Just as she had finished explaining, and perhaps crushing some plans, Brittany made her appearance. Kurumi had only really talked to her briefly in the kitchens when Emm had, well, not been having a very good day. "I just got here myself," Kurumi smiled.

Reason: adding :) and...changing her to here

Brittany looked towards the Gryffindor she had met in the kitchen's she seemed nice enough then and now. She looked at her greatfully because maybe she wouldnt be to much behind. Wait.... she didnt even know what she was here for so she took that last thought back. She was going to be behind no matter what *sigh*. " So what are we actually doing here?" she asked curiously

K-Lee had finished her snack and chosen the newest place for her homework finishing. The Whomping Willow. Choosing a spot away from the trees wrath and other people, she pulled the watch and her wand out of her pocket.
"Comletia." Wand movement done, K-Lee gazed down at the compass. It had her name again, this time surrounded by a few small flowers. It was pretty. She was sad that she would have to switch it back. Quickly doing so, K-Lee left for her room, out of ideas for the moment on compass designs.
Emmaleigh nodded as the other girl spoke. She seemed to know quite a bit on the subject, maybe even more than Salander. "how do you know all this?" she asked. "And do you think they would work in Hogsmeade?"

" One of your talents is being a great friend to everyone" Rex told Fee. "Well, I am possibly one of the best dancers" Rex said to Fee." WEll, I just do not want Rene and I become a victim of the problems that "muggle Hollywood couples have in their relationships" Rex explained to Fee, " Yes, gusee my pushing paid off for you and Hugo" Rex laughed.
"Awww Rex stop it",the blonde chuckled,"you are just as great as i am."Fee couldnt have asked for a better best friend. He was always there for her and helped her wherever possible."Not only possibly"she winked. He should trust in himself more.Taking her best friend's hand the girl looked him in the eyes."Dont worry about those problems",she said,"it wont happen to you.You two are perfect for eachother."They were like the perfect couple,Fee had never seen that before. When he started laughing the Slytherin joined in.Such a freaky boy."I knoow what would i do without you?"

" Ok, we are both great" Rex told Fee. " Not only possibly" Rex agreed with Fee. " Thanks, I never worry when you tell me not to worry about m y relationship with Rene." Rex explained to Fee. " Laughter is the best medicine" Rex said to Fee.
Oh yes! the transfiguration hmwk! she forgot about it.
"Sure, umm what was the hmwk?" she asked ashamed and giggled "Sorry my distraction i must have forgot to write down the assignment" she said. Georgiana grabbed her bag and was ready to whatever the hmwk it was. At least she liked transfiguration.

Emmaleigh listened intently as Kurumi continued to expound upon why electronics wouldn’t work. “That’s what I thought.” She said in regards to the likely-hood of them working in Hogsmeade. “Hogwarts, a History?” the girl asked, glancing at the book under Michael’s arm. She remembered reading a bit about that, but she hadn’t really paid attention.
Just then, she saw Brittney heading their way and waved. When she got closer she said “That’s ok, you haven’t missed anything.” She gestured to the Gryffindor girl, “I know you have met Kurumi, but, this is Eino.”
Hearing Michael’s suggestion, she shook her head. ”I don’t know if that will work, but it can’t hurt to try.” Hearing his suggestion that she lead the conversation, she gave him a look asking if he was sure. She hoped that she hadn’t overstepped her bounds. “Um. Ok.” She said tentatively. Then when he dropped the sack of money the girl shook her head. “I don’t think we will need that.” Emmaleigh just could not believe the boy. He was so ready to just throw money away.
When Britney asked her question, sighed. “Well, its mostly about Albert.” she then turned to the other two. “Albert is the code name we use for that Ministry man.” She paused a moment and looked at them. ”I know Kurumi has, but have any of the rest of you noticed anything about all of our lessons this term?” the girl asked.

Braeden was like a happy six-year-old with a new toy as he dribbled the football he'd gotten from the groundskeeper through the grounds. He'd started off in the playing field, like all other students playing the sport, but... somehow, without noticing, he just kind of drifted away from that area and ended up a little too close to the whomping willow instead. The distracted boy (who was a bit dizzy anyway from kicking the ball right to his face a couple times already by accident) didn't notice this, though, until it was too late.
Aw, crap. He lost the ball and it rolled down the grass toward the whomping willow, only coming to a halt as it hit the rough surface of the tree trunk. Oh, great. How was he supposed to get his football back now?! Good job leaving his wand in the dormitory.
Braeden eyed the murderous tree warily, his brown eyes terrified as he walked closer to it very cautiously, approaching it at a sluggish pace that would hopefully not cause alarm to the evil plant. So far so good... he'd been able to get pretty close without getting hi-- BAM! Tree branch right to the stomach.
And now, Braeden might've lost his football, but the whomping willow had found its punching bag. Who will save this damsel in distress now? COUGH COUGH.

Amadeus was strolling through the grounds and heading back to the castle after a particularly tough lesson in Care of Magical Creatures. Professor Maya Saylen was not one to be trifled with and her teaching methods, albeit fun and adventurous, sometimes felt a little too unorthodox for the Ravenclaw's prim and proper perspective. But what else could he have expected? Professors that dealt with the natural sciences, such as those that taught astronomy, divination, and care of magical creatures, were almost always hippogriff-hugging hippies.
Adjusting the strap of his brown, leather messenger bag on his right shoulder, Amadeus continued on his way. He walked at an angle and prepared to give the whomping willow a wide berth, as per his usual route. He noticed a student near the monster of a tree and paid no attention at first, believing it to be another first year that was too curious for their own good, thinking that they could outsmart the overgrown herbological beast. Turning his head after a few paces, Deus narrowed his eyes as he saw the student staggering with hands on their stomach, having obviously been struck by the willow.
Amadeus's eyes widened in surprise as he realized that none other than Braeden had gotten himself into another pickle. As his blue eyes returned to normality after reaching the size of saucers, he had to resist not rolling them in slight irritation. Here came Kipling to the rescue.
Jogging over the stretch of grass in his khakis, white button-down, and polished penny loafers, Amadeus called out to Braeden. "Are you alright?" He inquired, raising a curious, apprehensive eyebrow. It wouldn't be smart to get any nearer to the tree than he already was. The branches shook indignantly, as if annoyed at the presence of the two students. "You need to step away. Quickly." Amadeus called out in rapid succession; truthfully, one of the larger branches looked like it was flexing and about to take a swing at the Gryffindor.

"Whoaa..." muttered a clearly out-of-it Braeden as he tried to stand straight, but it seemed the ground beneath his feet would not stop moving. Oh sheesh. Stupid tree! He was going to get his revenge; one of these days he would come and chop all of its evil branches off! But for now, he'd have to make do with just regaining his composure.
It was then that the Gryffindor boy heard an all too familiar voice calling out to him; it was none other than Deus, of course. The Ravenclaw seemed to have a habit of always appearing in his friend's times of trouble; Brae wasn't sure if this was good or bad. Sometimes he was saved, sometimes he was scolded for his clumsiness.
"You think?" replied Braeden sarcastically as Deus suggested he step away from the tree quickly. "It's just a little difficult when it's got all of its branches watching my every move," he added, eyeing one of the branches warily before it came to him at top speed; Brae was quick to react and duck the blow. "Can't you-- stupefy it or something!?" He wasn't sure if spells worked on trees but it was worth a try.

Amadeus whipped his wand out of his trousers, gripping it firmly as he eyed the tree warily. "I can give it a try. I can't guarantee complete success, since I don't go around saving people from mad trees on a daily basis." His response was half retort, half promising, and half scolding. Really, what had Braeden been thinking by getting too close to the whomping willow? Sure, the Gryffindor was the epitome of dorkiness, but he definitely was not stupid.
However, now was not the time to ponder how the lion-haired teenager had ended up in danger. It was time for action. The tree seemed to know what the Ravenclaw had in mind and ruffled its leaves menacingly, as if threatening him with retaliation if Amadeus aimed a spell anywhere near it. His blue eyes glanced to his wand, to the tree, and back and forth once more quickly as he attempted to think quickly and logically.
Would petrificus totalus work? It was normally used on humans, obviously, and was a simple body bind curse. But... would it work on a plant? There was only one way to find out. "Petrificus totalus!" He called, flicking his wrist as he aimed straight for the trunk of the willow. Much to his dismay, the spell simply bounced off and flew into the nearby forbidden forest. Amadeus frowned deeply, attempting to think of another solution. "Give me a moment!" He put up his left hand, pleading with his friend to give him time to think out the safest solution.
