Scarlett laughed.She loved talking about Sirius and being related to him.he was so cool!
"aw thank you!yeah,I have a few.he and his friends were quiet the terrors and so was my father.I just hope I'm not." Scarlett grinned.
"yeah!I mean when I started the year went so fast and now this ones doing the same." Scarlett sighed.
She watched Draven and Tay together smiling.
Scarlett claped her hands together excitedly.
"I can't wait for our double date,we just can't talk about Hogwarts or magic.but Kevin plays drums in a band!" she said proudly then pulling out her BB to text him back to tell him te good news.

Tay smiled- "Yeah, and Draven's in his band- so they'll have something to talk about- perfect!" she laughed, smiling at Scar who was texting her boyfriend. "But he's a muggle, so that's why we can't talk about magic"
Not that it was a bad thing- it wasn't! But she hoped she didn't slip up in conversation!

Tay turned to Draven and hugged him- "It's good to see you" she said quietly to him, smiling at him and sighing happuly.

Draven watched as Scar became excited for their future double date and he got his interest peeked again when she mentioned her boyfriend Kevin was a drummer. Tay had evidently already told her about him being a musician as well and in a band.

"Thats very cool! We will definitely have something to chat about for sure. No problems, i hate talking about magic anyway outside of my family and school. Music is so much more fun to talk about" he said showing his passion for music in general.

"Well, its lovely to see you babydoll"

He hugged her back trying hard to resist the urge of making out with her. He had to make sure he was behaving properly at Hogwarts as the professor's would not tolerate them necking all the time.

Draven turned to Scar again,

"So what kind of band does he play in Scar?" he asked.

Scarlett bit her lip.
"well maybe we can talk about it.if he doesn't run away when I tell him." she said shakily,she hoped more than anything he would be ok with another world he didn't even know about...maybe not.
After she text back Kevin she sat back on the bench and started to think about the homework for subjects and home.she started to think about her fathers other family and decided to ask Rhea if she would take her to get her tongue done to annoy her dad.she smiled cheekily to herself when Draven caught her attention.
"ohh...uhm,pop rock...or punk.they are really good.I have their music on my phone but i'll let you listen to them later." she said happily.this was going so well!
"what kind of music do you play?" she asked,Tay had said his music taste maybe they were diffrent?
"I like all music." she said smiling.

Draven looked at her as she explained the type of music that Kevin played. It wasnt really in the same realm as his band but metal music was derived from punk rock to some degree. Either way, he was always cool with other musicians because it was obviously a art in their own way.

"Oh ok, sort of like Green Day, Rancid or Blink 182 i guess?" he said hoping not too sound stupid.

"Uh, my band plays progressive death metal" he said cheerily.

He knew Tay wasnt a huge fan of metal music and didnt think Scar would be either but thats one reason why they played instrumentals to give themselves some diversity in their music.

Scarlett smiled.she had a very wide love of music from Avenged Sevenfold to The Doors.
"hmmm." Scarlett thought. "more pop rock then,but who dosent love Green Day or Blink?" she laughed.
"oh cool,I like really old rock,like Alice Cooper.my dad was a big fan." she shrugged and sighed pushing her father out of her thoughts along with Kevin.
"so are you enjoying Hogwarts so far?" she asked smiling again.

Draven smiled when she began to mention Alice Cooper. Like her father, his dad was into a lot of classic and 80's rock. Just over the summer he was blasting Motley Crue at Tay's house.

"Yea, i love a lot of that stuff too. I was real young when my dad and mom would play everything from Led Zeppelin to Ratt. Obviously as time went on i got into more heavier stuff but i do have a fondness for a lot of different types of music" he said smiling.

"So far i like it Scar, its a bit overwhelming at first but i think im finding my way ok" he said.

In reality, Hogwarts was tough just because until he became more familiar with the halls and rooms he was going to struggle a little bit.

Scarlett nodded along wit what Draven was saying.Tay had definetly picked a winner with awesome taste in music!
"brilliant!I'm sure you'll get on with Kev.he's really cool,I just have to find a way of telling him...about me." Scarlett gave an uneasy laugh.Tay had said she should and she was always right when it came to guys.
Scarlett noticed Draven was a little tense when she asked about Hogwarts.
"it is hard to get used to it,I still get confused where everything is,who everyone is and names.but I'll remember yours since it's quiet unique." she said stopping.
"does it mean anything?" she asked "you can tell me to be quiet.I talk to much,but you'll get used to it soon enough." she said waving her hand in the air like it was nothing.

"He sounds like a really nice guy Scar. Im sure you will tell him when the time is right. Im sure its always tough when you have to explain something that out of the ordinary to someone you care about" he said smiling.

He smiled when she thought his name was unique.

"Well thank you, i appreciate the nice comments. It doesnt really mean anything in paricular but in my family the males are always given nicknames. My families history goes way back to even before Hogwart's when magic ran rampant without any boundaries. My nickname is "War Machine". I know it sounds silly and i never use it when addressing myself but it was a name given to me at birth. My dad's nickname is "Forthwind" and my Uncle's is "Stormbringer".

He could see the interested look on her face and felt maybe that was too much to spill out at the moment. He kind of gave a chuckle at her bewilderment. He didnt care if she asked too many questions though, he knew he came from a family bloodline that was not the norm anyway.

Scarlett listened to him and everything sounded not as scary.hey I mean it can't be the end of the world?
"thanks,that helped a lot.I worry about things like that to much.I dread to think what will happen to me when we have to sit our O.W.L's," she said frowning and the pile of homework waiting for her in the dorm.but she just couldn't face it.The now.
She gave a small smile breathing a little as he explained his family's bloodlie.at least it wasn't a stupid question,that's all she needed.to look like an idiot infront of her besties fiancé.
"wow!" she said after being filled in."that's pretty cool!I would totally use the name,I wish I had one." she laughed looking sort of confused.it would be so awesome if she knew her whole bloodline.
"but being a Black is cool too.I have a photo of him in my purse when he was at Hogwarts,not that much older that us." Scarlett pulled up her bag and rummaged through it until she found it and showed him the moving photo.
It shower 4 smiling,waving young men happily posing for a picture unaware what was about to happen in a few years time.
"I always keep that photo with me,it never fails to make me smile." she pushed her purse in her bag again and fished around for something to eat,she could feel her tummy growl.She foundd a bag of sweets and offered some to her new friend.

She stopped poking his stomach when he took hold of her foot and started to massage it, eyes rolling playfully at his comment about his being a man. "Socks and warming charms keep your feet warm when it gets cold. Toe lint just makes your feet all stinky and dirty." At least in her opinion it did. "Being a man is a bad excuse for toe lint. You'll have to come up with another excuse or get ride of the lint." Obviously she preferred the latter.

Braeden's eyebrows rose at Ivory's confession - which he took very seriously, despite the fact that she was obviously only joking. "Nature-fearing vigilantes?" he repeated, amazed. "Do we have secret meetings twice every week and keep a secret code when talking to each other?" he asked with one of those goofy grins of his. He always wanted to be part of a secret, mysterious society! And now he had just randomly joined one without realizing! Awesome.

"Y'know, you almost had me going all teary-eyed for a second there," said Braeden with a chuckle after Ivory gave her speech about the children, watching as she began to laugh so merrily. "Ever considered acting? If so, please do let me know because I would like to have a movie to go along with my book, and I'd definitely cast you as protagonist."

He beamed as she assured him he had time to write the book he had promised her a dedicatory in, and followed her back onto the deserted path walled by endless lines of trees. Killer trees. The Whomping Willow's secret agents of doom.

"So," started Braeden suddenly, "Aside from being attacked by trees and leading a band of nature-fearing vigilantes, what else does a fourth year Ravenclaw's time at Hogwarts consist of?" he asked with a smile, figuring that at least now that they were out of danger, he could at least get to know the leader of this new secret society he just joined a little better.

Draven looked at the photo she had, it was a picture of Sirius, Regalus, and a couple of others.

"That is so awesome Scar, you must be very proud" he said with a big smile.

As Scar put the photo away she took out a bag of sweets and offered one to him.

"Thanks!" he said while taking a bite of the cookie.

Rex walks around the courtyard. He needs to collect his thoughts. Hopefully someone will talk to him.

Chuckling Sabel watched her as he let his fingers work without the guidance of his eyes. "True, but it does make them feel lived in." Pursing his lips he tilted his head to the side slightly. "Maybe that was why mom always got me socks for Christmas."

There was a brief moment of silence with that statement, but to his surprise it wasn't unpleasant. Rather it was fond and brought some more warmth to his core. He had expected to get upset and push the memory away, for it to cause pain and discomfort, but for the time at least, it seemed quite the opposite. The sting was still there, but it was small in comparison to the happy memories of Christmas's shared.

Shaking his head a little, he returned his thoughts to the present and gave Arya a soft smile. "Well, if you would like me to get rid of the lint, I shall get rid of it. Otherwise I shall have to come up with another reason."

"Hello there rex! I seemed to be running into quite often! How are you?"

Arya was conflicted between sliding her eyes close and soaking up the sun and keeping them set on Sabel. Only slightly conflicted though. Something inside her kept them open enough to look at his face. "I'm sure we can find other ways for them to feel lived in." Her grin softened at the mention of his mother, and she grew quiet.

Unlike the other times, the brief silence between them wasn't uncomfortable. The air was just a bit lighter, and she didn't feel the strong urge to give him a comforting hug. She didn't know if he was getting better or if the day was too enjoyable to be ruined with sorrow, but she hoped it was the former.

"Another reason isn't necessary, you can just remove the lint." She returned his smile, "We can come up with other things....things that don't require a significant amount of brain power."

"Hey!" The indignant protest came with a good deal of laughter. "Are you calling me dense, slow, or otherwise mentally impaired for running my brain with a lot of horsepower?"

"No," she said with a giggle. "I'm saying that I recall someone saying that they were choicely-lazy and didn't want to do any work. Work requires a good deal of brain power." She poked her tongue out at him.

He did say that didn't he? Shrugging his shoulders he tilted his head again, smiling at her softly as his hands continued to massage her feet. "That depends on the type of work. I believe I'm doing work right now. And I'm perfectly content and happy." He wasn't sure if that took brain power or not, but if it did, it was one area he chose to be active in.

"Yes, but your not doing real work...its not like school work or hard labor." She grinned at him, picking at a loose thread on her shirt. "This is more like leasurly work that doesn't require much brain power. And I'm glad your happy. I won't object to doing something that makes you happy."

Tay peeked a look at the photo- aww. That was pretty cool- Scar must be very proud of her relatives then, sweet.
She was so glad that Scar was being so lovely with Draven, it was good! She held onto his hand and leant against his shoulder lovingly.
"O.W.L'S?" she sighed- smiling at Scar- "Oh gees. I really can't wait for them." she said sarcastically- but then... owls were... 6th right? So that meant it would be closer to her wedding! The year of her wedding. Yay! Maybe she did want them to hurrry up!

That seemed to be it. He had earned himself the title of 'lazy' and 'low-on-horse-power'. But if it was from Arya, he didn't really mind. He had heard that when you liked someone, you were supposed to get embarrassed and flustered, and while he got embarrassed around Arya it wasn't due to being uncomfortable or feeling less than worthy. He could make a fool of himself and it wouldn't change a thing; he was free to be himself around her and it was the most wonderful thing in the world.

Chuckling, he worked out a kink in her foot with gentleness, his shoulders shrugging a little. "Neither would I for you."

" Hi JP" Rex told him. " Well, I do get around HogWarts" Rex laughed. " I am fine and you?" Rex asked JP.

Tay held his hand while leaning into him as they looked and listened to Scar talk about the her history a little bit, or that of which she knew about. Then they started talking about O.W.L.S and Draven knew he would be a long way from taking those yet. Baby steps he thought to himself as he smiled.
