Mico stared back at the person making the frowny face. Hey lady. I'm not too happy about this either. That simply translated into an ear twitch.

"Perhaps you should go to a muggle pet shop. I am fairly certain that there is not much difference between a cat in a menagerie and a cat in a pet shop. I adopted Mico." Chad gave the wet kitten a scratch behind the ear. "I figured that being the department head for creatures...but not having a pet just was not right," he then grinned, lifting the cat.

"You missed a spot." He lowered him back down. "Just under his chin."

"You live in America!" she gasped. Why she did so, she was not sure.
"That's a long way to come to go to school here!" But it was a great school, so she could see why.
"Well yeah they're all important! But you can have a favourite one. One you do better in than the others usually." How could you not have a favourite subject! Clearly this girl was strange.
"S-something ab-bout me?" she stammered. She had not expected that. What did she want to know?
"Um... well, eh. M-my favourite subject is also charms! Least favourite is probably Herbology. All those crazy plants trying to kill us. Uh... I have an older sister in the Ministry, training to be an auror. She was also a Gryffindor. I'm half blood, but my adoptive parents are both muggles..."
Just tell her when to stop!

"Yup," nodded Samira. "Long way, yes, but it's worth it. Besides," she leaned in close like she was whispering a secret. "We use magic."
Wow, apparently this girl didn't like talking about herself. It was to be expected, though. Samira was raised with proper manners and rattling on about yourself without asking about the other person's interests was rude.
She nodded in vigilant agreement about the Herbology statement. What was the point of the subject anyways? "And Care of Magical Creatures," she added. "We could definitely do without that!" All the gross animals and poop and being outdoors...it made Samira's skin crawl.
Ah...so she was raised by Muggles. Samira felt slightly bad for her. She wasn't particularly fond of their ignorance. "Did the Muggles you live with know about magic before you received your letter?
Samira was a little bit curious as to what happened to her parents, but she was tactful enough not to ask.

Be a bird? Interesting... "A bird? I wouldn't want to be one because then you have to eat worms. EW!" Nika stuck out her tongue in disgust. "But the gliding and flying part would be cool! If I ever become a bird..." 'Is that even possible?' "Then I hope that I would be a better flyer than I am now. You don't want to see me on a broom..." Or maybe she does to laugh at Nika. Okay of topic.... "Oh three siblings!?! Brothers or sisters? or both!?! Graduated? From Hogwarts? So does that mean you're all wizards, your whole family?"

I know Georgiana could sometimes say random things, the fact that she wanted to be a bird is that they don't have to worry about anything but she couldn't complain, she had a good life with no worms for dinner "If you put it that way it is disgusting.... worms eww or any other insect" flying! of course the better part, but an animagus was the solution! after all she would continue being a human and then a bird hehe COOL. " I love to be on a broom! I hope I can be part of the Quidditch team someday" Georgiana said excited. "I could teach you any day if you want" she had helped another friend with it.

Question after question wow! Merlin she got excited.
"Okaay one question at a time!" she laughed "I have 2 brothers and 1 sister and yes all graduated from Hogwarts and again yes my whole family are wizards" she nodded "and what about you?" maybe she was half blood or muggleborn due to her excitement to everything magical, but it was okay she was a really cool girl.

She did not miss a spot. She knew this, because the cat pretty much resembled a snowball right about now. It was covered in white, sudsy bubbles all over it's furry little body.

Sierra glanced from the cat to the groundskeeper, and she gave the man a 'You have got to be kidding me' look. "Fine," she finally agreed, crouching down to get closer to the cat's chin. She scrubbed it down and then turned to look toward Stryker again. "...better?"

"Oh you should try out for the team! I would like to be apart of it too so that I can be involved with the school and stuff, but flying and me don't really mix. If we had a football team on the other hand... Then I would be the first to sign up for it! I love football! I could dribbled balls ever since age two." Nika stated matter of factly. "You, you would teach me? Really!?! Oh Georgiana that would be awesome! I've been attending all of the flying classes, but I do think that I need some extra help."

Nika gave Georgiana a genuine smile. It was kind of her to offer help. "Oh me. I'm a muggleborn! And I'm so glad I'm here at Hogwarts learning magic!" Nika replied with the smile still on her face. She couldn't believe it. Magic being real and all.

"Ha. Good point." she nodded. Magic could help her get from England to America! Why hadn't she thought of that?
"Yeah. Care of magical creatures is very... unique. But rummaging in animal poo is not what I'd call a fun lesson. Are they trying to kill us?" Probably.
Oh. She wanted to talk about her family. Be prepared to be confused little snake girl.
"Yeah. It's kindda a long story." she blushed slightly and decided her jacket sleeve was more interesting, so started to tug at it.
"My birth mam was a witch and my birth dad a muggle. But things were... complicated. I was raised by dad until I was 9. Then me and my sister had to be adopted. They didn't know about magic when they adopted us, but my sister was at Hogwarts at the time, so we had to tell them. They thought we were..." Nice word for it? "Wierd. At first. But they still kept us. We just don't really talk about magic in our house."
And that was her long story. Hopefully she hadn't fallen alseep by now.

Football? what was Nika talking about? maybe some kind of game she hasn't heard before, it sounded interesting. "Of course i'll like to teach you" said friendly "If you teach me football or whatever it is called" the wavy haired girl said curiously.

AHA! she was muggleborn! that did explained the part of this umm foot-something, and the fact that she and a broom couldn't be together in a sentence. It was always the same with muggleborns it was dificult for them to be on a broom hehe. it was kinda funny not in a mean way, but one of her friends, pureblood, was the same as Nika. So it wasn't just her.

"Muggleborn? you should be fascinating with Hogwarts then" and maybe too much but who can blame her it was amazing to be here! "Well since both of us are from different umm world?" if you could said "I can help you with everything related with magic! and youu..." said pointing at Nika "Can teach me everything about muggles!" Georgiana wanted to know about them so it was a deal both of them could help each other.

"Yeah it's football! And it's only the most popular sport on the planet!" Wizards must not do any muggle research. Hpm they should teach these things in muggle studies! Besides football is important! "Okay! You teach me flying and I will teach you football! It will be so much fun! I've already taught one of my friends, so you can trust me as a teacher!" Nika thought that she would mention that seeing as she was a bit on the crazy side and she wanted to assure her friend that she would be a good teacher.

"Yeah and I'm really fascinated with Hogwarts! Well actually all magic really. Magic is just so er... magical!" Nika couldn't think of any other word to describe it. Nika liked Georgiana's idea of a sort of trade off. Nika is good at all things muggle, well most things anyways. While in magic she is a complete fail >.<. "YEah! That will be SOOO much fun!!! I can teach you all about being a muggle and you can teach me everything wizard!" Nika liked the idea, a lot.

His eyes on Evelyns hand upon the leaf, Patroclus turned and began to walk backwards, resulting in the fact that he could speak directly to his friend;

"Well even if your heart does become covered in hair, I will still be your friend, just as long as you don't try to kill me, for my perfectly shaped hairless heart!"

Seriously that story was positively grim!

How has he been?

Muttering some very inaudible, "........Ministry........warning......" he took a breath and then smiled, "But other than that; I have been really quite great!" He had beeb, however it often made him feel rude talking of his perfect life when others were having issues, but he decided to let Evelyn have a moments piece, "I have just been cruising really, after the Owls were cancelled I kinda stopped studying, I figured what I have studied already will get me through the finals....." Then their was a special someone, but he didn't want to bring it up, not if it meant that he could possibly jinx anything....they still weren't offical, or public......

"Plans for the Summer?"

Hehe. "No, I would never do such a thing." she smiled, laughing quietly. Well maybe not him...no, no. She wouldn't do that to someone. Or would she? Good Merlin, why was she even having that debate?

Shaking the thoughts from her mind, Evelyn blinked and stared at Patroclus...having no clue whatsoever as to what he just said. Did he just say this was boring? Because she would soooooo glare at him if he did so. Raising a brow, the Slytherin girl let go of the leaf, nodding ever so slightly. Riiiggghhhht.

We are watching you Mr. Prefect...

Ugh, the Owls. Kinda feels like a load has been taken off now that the Owls were canceled. "Enough to get through newts even..." Hmm, where was that singing bird? Then again, what were they supposed to do now? Owls weren't nearly as important as the Newts, so what were they supposed to do if the Newts were canceled in their seventh year? Meh.

Plans? Summer? "Tons." she confessed, sighing dramatically. "I won't have a moment to myself." Smiling, she looked up to Patroclus, though something caught her attention just above his head on a branch. T'was the birdy! "What about you?"

"You better not!" Patroclus laughed, as a bird began to sing above his head.

At first he could only think how lovely it's song was, but then slowly the thought crept into his head;

Quickly bowing out from underneath that certain tree, Patroclus ran his hands through his hair, ensuring that it was still poop-free; which luckily it was!

"I could have passed the Newts in my first year, after only have 3 hours sleep, and having to do it blindfolded in the rain!" Elaborate; yes. A lie; Not at all!

Laughing at his own joke; expressing how cool he truly was, the Lion listened to Evelyn's answer, "Tons......sounds either heavy, or lots of fun!" he grinned, he was just full of Dad jokes this afternoon, "Me, well from what I can gather from Mother and Father, through the correspondence I have had, we will be in Greece at some point, supposedly some tectonic action has brought up some anomalies, that Father and his friends what to check out....so that should be fun!"

Georgiana wasn't exactly the best teacher but was going to do an effort. "Okay then I trust you!" said with a chuckle, she has to trust Nika since she was umm a muggle? she knew these things way better than her, obviously.

Magic is just so magical haha deep words "Yeah I know it is very magical" she giggled. Perfeect! she had a muggle friend to teach her things about them and to do better in Muggle studies "Excellent! we are going to make a great team together!" said excited. "Something like..." she thought for a moment "Slyffindor?" she laughed or whatever you wanted to call it.

...but at least he was agreeing that his blasted cat was now fully washed, which earned him a smile from Sierra. She nodded once and then retrieved her wand, giving the groundskeeper a look that said he should move now if he didn't want to get wet.

Then again, she was a witch, and he was a wizard. If he did get wet, which he probably would, a well-cast drying charm would do the trick. "Aquamenti!" she said, and a blast of water shot from her wand and onto the cat. Soap suds dripped off the cat and onto the ground. "Finite," Sierra said, ending the charm. A second later, she cast the drying charm, making sure to direct her wand to Stryker a bit, too, just in case any of the water had somehow gotten on him.

"We are going to make the BEST team!" Nika almost shouted. She is very enthusiastic if you couldn't tell hehe. "Yeah! Slytherdor it is! Or a glytherin but that's kinda hard to say. So let's stick with slytherdor." Nika was thanking the stars that Georgiana would help her with magic. Nika needs all the help she can get! "I can't believe the term is ending already. It was so hard to pack my bags." well that's partially because she had so many things to pack up and she's a sort of slob when it comes to keeping a room tidy. "I love it here. I'm not ready to leave! I made so many new friends and I feel like the term only just began."

"Congratulations, Rex, for being a good student," she laughed, mocking him. "Making the most for your last year, I suppose? Must be tough... I would greatly miss Hogwarts if I were you." Well, that was quite personal. Elle wasn't the type to admit something like that, you know, because there's something called... PRIDE.

" Very funny" Rex told Elle." Yes, I will miss HogWarts and you" Rex said to Elle. " I expect to see you on thee trian" Rex smiled.

Samira frowned. That was actually kinda...sad. She reached out as if to touch her arm in comfort, but decided against it and pulled back. Samira wasn't the touchy-feely type, and she barely knew this girl, so she didn't want her to be freaked out when Samira touched her arm. Instead she said, "I'm sorry." And she really meant it. "Well,' she didn't know what to do with her hands, so she put them behind her back. "They can't be that bad, can they? If they kept you."

Emily was too busy at her sleeve to notice Samira's reaction. She hoped she didn't think she was wierd or sad or emotionally scarred or something. This was why she didn't like talking about family!
Oh no. No, no, no, no! "No, they're not bad at all!" She woudn't have her thinking her adoptive parents were bad "They're just... being muggles really. Scared of something they don't understand. But they're probably the best thing that's ever happened to me..." Besides her Hogwarts letter "And they'll get used to it... after a few years mabye." Or not. Whatever. They'd still take care of her.
"Anyway, this talk is probably depressing me and you. Do you play Quidditch at all?" She could change the subject quick as a flash.
