Looking up as a rain fall of leaves fell around them, she frowned when one landed in her hair before flicking it away. Meh, leaves in her hair. However, the frozen leaf in the air was interesting to stare at. Reaching up, she grabbed the end of it before pulling it down.

Patroclus was right though. Hmm she didn't really want that to happen. Especially not to banish her heart. "Yea." she muttered, letting go of the leaf, though it didn't fall. Just stayed frozen still in the air. "I don't want to end up like that Warlock in the Beedle the Bard's story."

That would be just terrible.

Anyhow, slowly twirling her wand in her hand as she sniffled quietly, feeling herself become a bit more composed, Evelyn glanced down the path to where they were going. MEEP! BIRDY! We hear you sing! "Well, enough about me and my life right now. How have you been Mr. Prefect?"

Ariana walked out to the pathway, glad to finally get a breath of fresh air, after hours of studying inside for exams. There was a bird singing above her head, and the whole place seemed... amazing. She took another deep breath, and then paused, staring at an interestingly shaped tree. She had all the time in the world, after all, she'd been studying almost nonstop for a week, hadn't she?

Leaning against said tree, Ariana closed her eyes for a moment and then opened them again, looking around for someone to chat with while wandering the grounds.

Hecate hurried along the pathway, hoping she wouldn't be late to herbology. There were other students sitting around and leaning against trees. She wondered why they didn't have to go class. In fact, she recognized some of them from her herbology class! Now she was really confused. She took out her schedule and looked at Tuesday's one o'clock class. There it was. Herbology. She turned around and saw Ariana leaning up against a tree. "Hi. Isn't there herbology class right now?"

Ariana wasn't doing much, just thinking about what she should be doing, deciding she didn't want to do it, and then began imagining what she would write next in her book. She ignored other people's voices, and had actually begun to feel her eyes drooping, when she was startled out of her reverie by Hecate turning up. "Hmm? Herbology?" Okay, NOW Ariana was confused. They didn't have herbology today! "We don't have herbology, Hecate. As far as I know, we don't have it until tomorrow..."

Hecate cocked her head to the side in confusion. She pulled out her schedule and pointed to one o'clock on Tuesday. "But my schedule says there's herbology right now. It is one o'clock, right?"

"Well... yes, it's one o'clock, but..." Ariana was super super confused. At least, until she took a better look at where Hecate was pointing on her schedule. Then she had to stifle a laugh, and, failing, giggled for a moment. "Hecate, you're looking at Tuesday, today's Monday! We have a free period now, see?" Oh, poor, confused Hecate. She'd been following Tuesday's schedule all morning. *giggle*

Hecate started blush, and when she blushed her whole face went red. "That would explain why I didn't recognize anyone in my classes! UG now I have to go to History of Magic again!"

Ariana covered her mouth, trying not to laugh, and then gave up and laughed. "It's okay, everyone makes mistakes. And with all the studying we've been doing, it's easy to imagine a Sunday is a Monday. And now they had a free period, so let's relax, 'kay?

"Okay. Hey, want to go visit the cruppies?"

Awww, cruppies! "Sure! That sounds fun!" Setting off down the pathways at a somewhat brisk pace, now that she had somewhere to go, Ariana continued to enjoy the freshness of being outdoors. She motioned to Hecate to follow her, and they walked over toward the Care of Magical Creatures area.

Hecate started to follow Ariana when she realized something - if it was Monday, then she had Ancient Runes today! "Hey, Ariana, I just realized that I have Ancient Runes today and I didn't do my homework. Could you please help me?"

Alex...of course...

Hyun could only nod when Ellie told him about Alex. It became hotter as he stood still, the sun was shining through the trees and he had to wipe the sweat off his face. He took short breaths and soon he was breathing normally.

"Thanks Ellie" he said when she said that she was happy for him..although she didn't seem like it , and he was right when she said she would miss him.

Hyun felt uncomfortable all the sudden, never had anyone said that they would miss him. Even when he went away from Durmstrang his friends hadn't said that. An odd unfamiliar feeling came through his heart that he never felt before. "I..i ...thanks , i 'll miss you too" he said awkwardly. He softly bit his lip , thinking about what to say.

Luckily, Ellie was already talking...or rather she looked like she was blushing and squealing inside when Alex's name was brought up. And..wait... the rumours ARE true?!

A soft sound erupted from his throat , he bit his lip again but this time preventing from laughing. His usual twinkle in his eye came back as was his smirk. "Congrats" was the only thing he could say because he was singing the "Alex and Ellie sitting in the tree" song just like he had done when he had seen them on the quidditch pitch after the game against hufflepuff.

"Yeah I'm not that great at answering questions in divination, but I'm pretty decent at the hands on stuff! I really enjoy that class!" Nika smiled sweetly. It was true her answers to the questions were very... interesting. Oracles are not a brand of gum. "Oh then you must have good luck." Nika reached over and knocked on the wooden bench. "Heh, sorry force of habit. Didn't want to jinx you." Nika put her arm back into her lap slowly. "So do you play any sports?"

Nika looked around and noticed a girl who looked around her age. Nika smiled immediately at the chance to make a new friend. Her eyes wandered to the girl's Ravenclaw badge and Nika's smile became even bigger. Ravenclaw, Nika didn't know many of them. She walked up to the girl with the big smile still plastered on her face. Seeing the girl at a closer distant she recognized her a bit. She saw the girl talking to Samira before. Samira is one of Nika's best friends so why shouldn't she get to know this girl too? Nika stopped in front of the girl and went right ahead and talked to her. "Hi! I'm a firstie Lion." Nika just hoped that the girl wouldn't be scared of her after that wild start.

Samira strolled down the Hogwarts Pathways idly, not really thinking about...anything really. It really was a nice day out. It was perfect to just sit and relax and just not think. She thought about the term and all the new friends (from all Houses...except maybe Hufflepuff...) and classes. It really was a good term. She smiled to herself as she continued her stroll.

Emily walked down the path humming to herself, letting her legs take her where they wanted. It really was a nice day for a walk.
She noticed a Slytherin girl coming a long the path opposite her.
'Act cool Emily' she told herself. She stopped humming and tried to act like she was thinking by looking up to the sky. This caused her to trip and fall flat on her face. "Stupid Sky!" she mummbled to herself.

Samira was snapped out of her musings suddenly when she saw some Gryffie girl randomly fall flat on her face. Samira almost laughed, but that would probably be mean, and she didn't want to hurt the other girl's ego.

She walked over to the girl. Stupid sky? Samira wondered what that could mean. Hmm...must be a Gryffie thing, she thought.

Samira bent slightly and offered her hand. "Are you okay?" she asked.

Turning over and sitting up, she noticed the Slytherin girl had come over.
'Great! I looked like a complete idiot!' she thought.
"Oh, um, yeah I'm fine." she answered the girl, taking her helping hand "Thanks..." she began brushing the dust and soil off her jeans, then smiled back at the girl.
"Thanks for helping. I'm Emily!" she was in a better mood now, so stuck out her hand for the snake to shake.

Samira smiled. "No problem," she replied. Her friend Nika Adler fell on her face on a regular basis, so it wasn't unfamiliar ground for Samira.

"Nice to meet you Emily," she said cooly and politely. She shook the girl's outstretched hand-not too firm, but not too weak either. Handshakes defined a person a lot, and Samira always wanted to make a good first impression. "My name is Samira Spinks. Is this the end of your first year too?" She gave another smile for good measure.

Finals....finals....finals

That's all Georgiana could think about, she walked towards a little bench beside a tree and took a glimpse of her surroundings then she closed her eyes and felt the fresh air on her face...very relaxing.

She opened her eyes and saw the sky, blue as always, puffy clouds moving and the wind blowing. She stared at some random tree and...zone out, she had like a millions of thoughts on her mind I bet I look dumb she thought, obviously! she was staring at some random tree and alone and thinking, yeah someone could make fun of her right now.

Coming back from seeing the crups with Hecate, Ariana was still cheerful as before. Her spirits weren't even dampened by the dampness on her shoes where they had drooled on her! She strolled through the pathways, happily humming and walking, slowing down eventually to look at a butterfly fluttering by. Missy, who had been strolling behind Ariana, paused and looked predatorial. She sat down and stared.

The butterfly was going from flower to flower, and she followed it with her eyes. Crouching, she continued to follow it, with her whole head, before she pounced! The butterfly, startled, flew straight up into the air, and Missy ended up in the flowers. She stood back up, looking around with an air of 'I totally meant to do that!' Laughing, Ariana picked Missy up and stroked her, and Missy settled into her arms and purred, though she still watched that butterfly a bit...

Ariana didn't notice the girl until she was only about a foot away. She was grinning like crazy, and rather startled Ariana when she spoke to her. A Lion? Hmm, Ariana usually just talked to Ravvies and Snakes... Oh well, might be interesting to make a new friend.
"I'm Ariana, a firstie Raven." She thought she'd seen this Lion somewhere before...
"Hey, didn't I see you talking with Samira Spinks at some point?" It might have been that.... or just class. *shrug*

---------------------------------different time-----------------------------

Ariana noticed a first year sitting alone at a bench, staring pointlessly at a tree. Probably totally zoned out, like Ariana was sometimes. Laughing inside, she walked up and waved her hand in front of the girl's face.
"Anyone there? I'm Ariana." Hopefully the girl wasn't too zoned out, Ariana would be glad to get to know her.

Nika was just walking along being careless. Everyone was talking about exams and how nervous they were, but Nika just wanted to have fun. Exams aren't fun and Nika didn't want to talk about them anymore. She has had enough. She looked around and saw another girl who appeared to be her age, but by the looks of her robes she wasn't in Gryffindor. Well quite the contrary she is in Slytherin, home of the snakes. Nika had made one great friend from Slytherin and so she is willing to make more. Besides Nika loves friends. She walked over to the girl and poked her. "Hi! I'm Nika Adler. Firstie Gryffindor! How do ya do?" Nika knew that her introduction was quite sudden, but who cares? Let the girl think she's weird.


Nika watched the girl curiously as her eyes followed the butterflies. Nika was reminded of the necklace that Elyon had given her. She clutched onto her bracelet and smiled at the thought of her friend. To keep away the Nargles.

"Ariana." Nika nodded. "I like that name! OH! I forgot to tell you my name! Heh oopsie! I'm Nika, Nika Adler." They haven't talked for more than a few minutes and already it was easy to tell that Ariana was a lot smarter than her. "Oh yeah Samira! She is actually one of my really good friends! One of my best. But I don't really have a best friend. I like to have many best friends." Nika told Ariana. Well not like Ariana would want to hear that anyways. "Sorry I'm rambling." Nika admitted in her still cheery voice. "So you guys won the Quidditch season didn't you?"

Deep in her thoughts, Georgiana didn't paid attention whether someone was looking at her or if people was walking by, she was out of this world. Still looking at the tree she heard a little voice Was someone talking to her? and then felt a poke, that did wake her up and looked up to see a girl standing in front of her, she was introducing herself. Oh Gryffindor? she thought when she saw the girl's robes maybe that was the reason of her cheerful introduction?.

Georgiana left her thoughts for a moment and said "Hello, I'm Georgiana Smith" she grinned "Nice to meet you, Nika". A little sleepy she sounded, if it wasn't for the Gryffindor she would have fallen asleep, anyway she was making a new friend. "Wanna take a seat?" she asked and moved to the left to make space for Nika.

Elle leaned closer to Rex and whispered in his ear. For only him to hear. No one else. "Honestly, I don't like Divination. It creeps me out a little. But I try my best to me a good student."

"Nice to meet you Samira." Wow this girl had a good handshake!
"Yeah. So your a first year too?" Why did she just answer a question with a question? "It's a shame term is ending. I've had a lot of fun this year! Carn't wait to come back." Hogwarts was her new home!

Rex tripped over the girl's feet. " I am sorry, I can be clumsy at times" Rex told the girl. " My name is Rex Trigwell" he introduced himself to the girl. " This is a very nice day, today" Rex said to the girl. " You must do a lot of homework, I have never seen you on the grounds" Rex explained to the girl.

" I understand about the class you do not like" Rex told Elle. " I was not very good in Magical Creatures for a long time" Rex said to Elle. " After I took care of a Knarl, an Abraxan and now a baby Knarl, I am really good in class and doing my homework for that class" Rex explained to Elle.
