A set of paths link the courtyard to various areas of the grounds. It’s nice to walk along either on your own or with a friend. The trees on either side of the path help to create a light atmosphere. So go on, take your time and soak up the fresh air, heaven knows students need it.

Her nose scrunched up and she shook her head in disagreement. "Don't think I'll be taking more than I need, but you can take as many as you like Ravenclaw." Grinning, she lightly hip bumped her friend. "I hope she does, she's probably the only professor who knows the most about pursuing a career with creatures." And that was what she wanted to do, what she always wanted to do. Taking an exaggerated step, she swung herself in front of her bestie to meet her in a squishy hug. "I promise we will coordinate as many classes together as we can, and study for OWL's together, and do tons other stuff."
"Toooons." She agreed, hugging her friend back enthusiastically.
Expelling a breath that sent her bangs flying, Ivory shook her head woefully as they walked down the pathways. "Gah, I probably will take a whole bunch of them but only because I have no idea whatsoever what to specify in."
One would think that after almost four years at Hogwarts she had a at least an inkling of what she wanted to do with her life but sadly if anything her options had broadened.
"There's soooo many things I want to do, so many things I'd like to be." Grinning lopsidedly, she continued. "Gosh, if only I was psychic and I could peeeeeer into my future." Bringing up her hands, she peered symbolically with goggle hands. "Then I could just save myself the trouble and only take the one's I'll need for whatever it is I'm gonna be when I'm older."

Hearing Ellie talk about Justin was just too much. He scoffed when she called him a nice guy and just rolled his eyes. Of course Hendricks had gotten to Ellie just as he did with Fee, he felt Emma squeeze his arm, thank Merlin perhaps Emma agreed with him. Alex was just about to flash her a grateful smile when she too started saying Justin was a nice guy. Oh and of course, he just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. He just magically popped up where there was trouble did he? Sure, he was a nice guy, breaking up relationships, making Fee cry, hitting Sheridan, turning her hair pink and ugh... There was too much to think of that made Hendricks not a good guy.
No, listening to them talk about Justin like he was the greatest guy in the world was definitely too much. "Well yeah sure a really nice guy." Alex said sarcastically. "You know what Emma, I think you're right I do need to practise some for the game. I'll catch up with you guys later... Or something." he muttered and turned on his heel to walk back to the castle.
If Ellie wanted to be with Justin then fine, she should go ahead and be with him. If Emma wanted Justin as a friend then Alex couldn't do anything to stop her. They were free people. And anyways, Alex needed to practise. He was sick of the drama, sick of how everything turned out so complicated.

Turning to Emma with a desperate look, she was about to ask her questions, when she piped up and said that she was leaving too. What the hell was going on?! What had gotten into him? Was there something about Justin that Alex hated and that Ellie didn't know? It's not like Ellie was in love with Justin. Merlin, she had just met him and he helped her with a hurt knee, it's not like they were eloping to Paris or something. She wanted to yell at Alex. For not explaining and just leaving the conflict where it was. She was hurt and upset.
Running a hand through her hair, Ellie watched Emma and Alex go with a devastated look on her face. She had so, so many questions, but no one to answer them...

She asked out of curiosity, not sure if she's seen her around before.

She knew she was asking a lot of questions, but she wanted to reassure him that there must be some sort of explanation. "How about I go with you, we can go together?" "Background check?" Elle thought for a moment. "Mm... You're right. But, is it like, stalking him?" It seemed like a great idea, but the redhead thought it was better to get to know him through conversation and develop a bond.
Besides, Mum and Dad didn't want her mingling with Muggles or Halfbloods. They had this rule not to date them... But Cass's offer was so tempting!

"I'm so happy!" She wasn't exactly sure why she said that she just really was happy and smiled a mile wide. "I'm suddenly really thirsty, how about you?" She went into her bag and pulled out three cups and a thermos of butterbeer. "Butterbeer anyone?" Looking from Rex to Elle.

Witsy couldn't help but laugh and took a seat from the middle of them. She didn't realize how small she was until she sat down. Finally someone who's my height. Witsy was around 4'9'' tall and everyone's a giant compared to her.
She grinned looking back from Elle and Rex, "Yup yup yup, she's really nice too, I met her once." Or at least I think I met her once, she thought.

Elle gasped. "Rex is getting married?!" It took a moment for her to register it and she snapped back to reality.
"Ohmygosh, congratulations, Rex my friend! Who's the lucky girl?"
"Background check?" Elle thought for a moment. "Mm... You're right. But, is it like, stalking him?" It seemed like a great idea, but the redhead thought it was better to get to know him through conversation and develop a bond.
Besides, Mum and Dad didn't want her mingling with Muggles or Halfbloods. They had this rule not to date them... But Cass's offer was so tempting!
" I have confidence now" Rex told Elle. " The reason is because I am with you" Rex said to Elle." my future wifes name is Rene" Rex explained to Elle. " Iwould like you to come to the wedding" Rex smiled.

She took a sip from her cup as another breeze rushed by, this is the life, sipping butterbeer with fine good friends sitting rubble... she started rubbing underneath her legs, yeah cuz everyone like the pressure points of rocks and giggled at the thought of that.

While snow and cold had never bothered her, seeing as she would have had that to deal with back home as well as here, Renée had always had a bit of a fondness for April. The true start of spring, as March was always kind of stuck between seasons. But April was when everything started growing again. The snows had melted and there was green coming back to the world. It was still rather cool, but definitely not what it had been weeks earlier. It was pleasant, even here amongst the trees, and she was glad she'd decided to come out here. Bowie was as well, as she had the little crup with her as she wandered. Precautions still made, as even if they were hidden from Muggles she didn't want most people knowing she hadn't had the heart to follow the law about her pet. Disillusionment spells worked just as well, for times like this.
She had to keep an eye on him, though. Any random rustle of leaves and he felt the need to scamper over in that direction. Luckily, he knew enough to not get too far from his mistress, but she tried to keep an eye on him anyway. In the meantime, she also kept glancing around the the new little leaves growing on the trees, and wondering how beautiful everything was going to be after not too much longer. She had her memories of Hogwarts, but the groundskeepers over the years had seemed to make everything even better than she remembered.
