"We can try, but I'm not sure how the rest of the lyrics go. It has been quite awhile since I saw it last," she said. Rowan thought hard trying to remember. "Oh! I just remembered a bit more." She cleared her throat and started. "We're off to see the wizard. The wonderful wizard of oz. We hear he is a wiz of a wiz because of the things he does. " I knew you knew the lyrics" Rex told Rowan. " I have not seen the movie in years" Rex said to Rowan. Rex heard Rowan sing the words and smiled.
Rex repeated the words as Rowan sang:

"So, I Think I must have sang ok because you did not run away" Rex explained to Rowan.

Rowan laughed. "You have a fine singing voice. What do you think all the pure bloods here would think of movies?"

" Well, thanks, Fee said the same thing about my voice" Rex told Rowan. " Of course, Fee is my best female friend and you are great friend, too" Rex said to Rowan. " You both lie about my voice because of our frienships" Rex laughed." I beleive that pure bloods would like movies just like half- muggles and muggles, movies are an escape from everyday life" Rex explained to Rowan. "What is your take on your question you just asked me?" rex asked Rowan.

Rowan laughed. "Well, my sister Jamie thought the tele actually had little people in it. She wanted to take them out so she could play with them. I was just wondering if everyone, but especially magical types, would think the same thing."

" Jamie really tried to get the people out of the televison set?" Rex asked Rowan. " I hate to dasy it, but it sounds funny and silly" Rex told Rowan." Well if Jamie thought that way, others can think that way about television and the people in it" Rex explained to Rowan. " Did Jamie try that at the movies?" Rex asked Rowan.

"She's never been to the movies. She only just discovered television last week. I can just imagine what she'd be like at a 3-D movie," Rowan laughed. "I'd probably have to pull her out from under the seats."

"Speaking of Jamie, I have not seen her in awhile" Rex told Rowan." I think Jamie would be a lot of fun at a 3-D movie" Rex said to Rowan. "After yoiu pulled her out from under the seats" Rex laughed.

"That would be fun, wouldn't it?" she giggled. "I haven't seen much of her lately either, only in class. I think homework is keeping her busy. Sometimes, I wish she weren't in Slytherin. Then I could at least see her at night in the dorm."

" We should all go to a muggle 3-D movie" Rex told Rowan." Yes, I have seen Jamie in class but she needs some fun" Rex said to Rowan." I know what you mean, I wish Rene would be in Gryffindor, you and Fee, too" Rex explained to Rowan. " Oh wait a minute, I am a boy, I could only see yo ugirls in the common room if what I said was the case" Rex laughed.

Rowan laughed. "Yup. Even if we were all in the same house, I think you would probably be chased out of the girls dorm," she teased.

The fence provide a little bit difficult given his muscle's most recent run in with a rather stubborn pony, and he took it a little slower than his friend. A good reminder he needed to start running or doing some sort of exercise.

"You have a reason for everything, don't you Stern?" The question was offered with a wide grin as he made it back to his friend's side. A quick glance was stolen at the Evergreen bough, a self conscious shrug leaving one shoulder. "It's not for Herbology." He really should tell Stern shouldn't he? Probably.

"Valentine's day is coming up." He should tell Stern, just maybe not directly.

"Oh, you shouldn't have!" Kellen wrapped an arm around Sabel's head and pulled him down into a headlock-hug... thing. Snicker.

He didn't stop walking as he continued holding his friend's head in this fashion, "And yeah, I have to have reasons for everything. They're what keep be from having to act on everything. So who's it actually for?"

One moment he was walking vertically, the next everything had turned into a horizontal world. It really shouldn't have been surprising given his track record with gravity, but the strange thing about this was that he was still suspended. Many thanks to his friend.

He wouldn't admit to the small 'eep' that had escaped him and instead tried to wriggle his head free. "I can tell you're so grateful. And you're getting hay. You and pine branches are just a terrible idea together."

Wiggling a bit more, he tried again to free his head. "Since you have an answer for everything, why don't you tell me?"

"Oh, huzzah! I'll eat it with metaphorical relish." Kellen finally let Sabel's head go, and gave it a helpful push back to vertical to prevent a fall. Since, you know, Sabel and all.

"I think... It's for Arya. It'd better be, because if you've had a rebound to Lexi I may have to smack you, and you know I detest being physical." Kellen poked Sabel in the head. So much for distancing himself from close ties.

" I thought alll you girls loved me" Rex laughed. " You would chase me out?" rex asked Rowan. " I know the rules' Rex told Rowan.

Selina walked into the pathways and prepared to do her second to last transfiguration homework. It was winding down before she had to attend her next class and it would probably be wise that she do her homework before the start of her next class. She then drew out of her pocket the small watch which had been transfigured left and right.

She sat down on the ground in a secluded spot and whipped out her wand. Once it was drawn she closed her eyes and concentrated, "Colmetia!" The watch slowly morphed into an oddly shaped box. It bubbled and gained a little heat. Selina flinched at the touch and prepared to cool it down when the form took shape. It was the most beautiful compass to date. The compass was gold and had a small dip in the side of the thing. She was getting better... only one more trail to attend to.

"I know that," she teased. "I suppose having separate common rooms for each house is the school's way of making us go outside. It would be nice to sit around the fire with all our friends and enjoy a hot cup of cocoa and good conversation though."

" I know all you girls really love me" Rex told Rowan." Yes, the common rooms make us go outside" Rex agreed with Rowan. " Of course, I was talking about all rhe girl's dorms" Rex laughed." I guess we can go outside and talk to them when Diagon Alley is opened to the students." Rex said to Rowan.

His head was certainly getting a lot of abuse today. First poked with a branch by the Stern-pony and now headlock and further poking.

Reaching up, he tried to swat his friend's hand again. "Rest easy mate, that's a ship set sail a long time ago." Or rather, the sails had been ruffled out and fixed this year and it was finally sailing properly, but there was no need in mentioning that. Rather his mind was distracted by Kellen's easy guess, a slight blush touching his cheeks. So maybe this wasn't going to be as easy as he thought it would. "It is for her."

Was he just supposed to come out and say it? "...We're...dating." Apparently, just not with a straight face given his attempt to hide his blush and the grin that was slowly working its way onto his lips.

"Speaking of which, do you know when Diagon Alley will be opened to the students?" she asked. "I have never been there you know, except to get our books and what not. I'm curious as to what the rest of it is like."

Jeremy walked out to the ground thinking that it would be a good time to wonder around some more. He had really taken a liking to Hogwarts and was planning on making the next 5 months the most epic time ever! If only he had someone worthy enough to help make these next few months epic.

Lexi was on top of the world. ON TOP OF THE WORLD I SAY!! She was actually... SKIPPING through the pathway when she spotted her bestie's brother. EEP! Giggling uncontrollably she began to run toward him.

Waving both hands in the air she shouted, "JEREMY!!!" When she neared him she jumped, attempting to land on his back... we would see how that worked out though. Hehehe.

Jeremy was about to turn around as his name was shouted but before he could a MASSIVE weight was on his back. Maybe not massive but it was unexpected which was bad news seeing how Jeremy was usually a clumsy fellow. He could already predict how badly this would end. He tried to regain his posture and somehow succeeded. He leaned against a tree with what appeared to be Lexi on his back.
"WOMAN!! I ALMOST DIED!!" He chuckled a bit.

"Oooooh! Don't be so DRAMATIC!!" she cried as she took to tickling his ribs mercilessly. Hehehe. "Where have you been?" she asked as she hopped off of his back rather gracefully... for her. Which meant she stumbled a bit and nearly fell. Hehe.
